Week 1 of veg. In the books and we have a stable of very healthy and incredibly vigorous plants on the grow here. Even the runty one (there’s always one) has shown some signs of strong growth and we may not end up culling her from the mix at all. Over the last couple days, growth has exploded with no signs of slowing down - even after their transplant to the bigger pots👍. They’re doing everything they’re supposed to and showing that F1 vigour at every step. So far, so good and we really couldn’t ask for a better start to this run. We incorporated a very mild solution of our primary nute this week - Druid Berkana. This stuff is a one part system designed for the whole cycle and its proven to be one of the best all-around nute brands we’ve tried to date. Some light foliar spraying with liquid karma continues to mid week and then they’re all on their own👌. Expecting big things from this run and if we get lucky with continued robust growth - might be able to take clones after the third week of veg and flip🤞🤞🤞. Background This project has been a year in strain selection (and another year in the actual making) to get to this point with a viable potential cross. It’ll be a true polyhybrid with a mix of sativa and indica leaning properties for each. We’ve combined an especially powerful hybrid sativa strain of Strawberry with an equally manageable and hard hitting strain of indica dominant Skywalker OG. The hope has always been to combine them and boil out the best characteristics of each. The strawberry is phenomenal in terms of terp profile and a mix of strong head and body effects while the Skywalker is a mind bending, body butter kind of indica with that earthy Kush profile and flowery undertones. The strawberry is prone to botrytis and fasciation but features excellent terps and yields if grown correctly. She’s Also stretchy and somewhat unruly when she gets going. The Skywalker is a contrast in growth characteristics with a squat structure, medium sized buds and excellent resilience and resistance. The plan is to seed out the available females and take cuts of what we can post-stretch to get a closer look at any differing phenos. Still very much early stages for a stabilized new strain but we’ve got the right foundation of solid genetics. Now we just gotta get it off the ground to the next generation👍. We’re predominantly focused on the plants that demonstrate that hybrid vigour and wasting no time with any problem plants or runts. Pink Kush Day 21 - 2020.01.21: Hello friends, I'm sorry for being delinquent in commenting on this grow; I got hit by a car last autumn and I'm still struggling a bit with depression and anxiety (hence the weed!). Let me assure you that the Shishkaberry from last year was very helpful 😌 So to begin with I have to thank Barney's Farm for their great genetics. This week I started the regular fertigation schedule for the vegetative period. I'm getting very precise with the measuring of the nutrients, I'm using some industrial syringes for accuracy like Dr. Coco recommends. The TDS is high - I'm working on it. My o my, what can I say... These ladies are gorgeous! Along with adding in the 2000W along side my 600W, I cut out the grow solution in my nutes contrary to the instructions and my ladies are booming! We'll see how the rest of the week continues! I started a majority bloom with some added glucose for my feed to help with bud weight but they are really packing on. Hopefully next week will be my last week of feeding as trichrome production increases and I can start my 2 week flush!

Did some lst on one of the taller main colas because I started 2 more and needed the smaller light for them. I turned my 150w Marshydro the way it normally goes so it can cover both plants and tried to get an even top canopy for both plants to get the most out of the lamp. I think the 1 is gorilla zkittlez I was thinking stardawg at first but the leaves are very similar to the gorillaz. I keep worrying about giving higher doses of nutrients because it looks like I burned them a little bit feeding twice in 1 week. It’s hard to tell the difference between defeciency and burn sometimes which is making me want to switch to organic lol. The leafy one is starting to bud finally it seemed like even after pre flower was in full bloom it was still pushing out too many Leaves and almost no trichomes compared to the zkittlez. I’m thinking that one may be an afghan kush or something. It was really woody smelling hazelnut almost and now I’m getting some pine hints now that the buds seem to be getting back on track

The whole week without any problems ... I change the dosage of supplements again and let the ladies keep swelling ...🍃🍃🍃 The girls are very sticky and are just starting to smell stronger... 💪🍃🍃🍃

Growing tall and beautiful

I always find it hard to say how much water they are taking because the whole auto pot thing. It would be more useful to maybe have an option to be able to change the unit because it would be way easier for me to say how much water has been put in the res during the week - sometimes even that’s hard to remember for me! Aaaaanyway, things are going fine in the grow - I turned down the light just a tiny bit as the pistols were showing signs of having too much light and they were just looking a little bleached out, so I turned down the light to around 80-90% as well as I think I raised it a little bit also. It’s much harder keeping everything stable in such a small space when I am used to having a room to use but oh well, it is what it is - I am really lucky / stupid to be doing this one, however, I also went into the grow knowing I may have to kill her at any moment - dependant upon visits etc. I know photo growers always say there is no difference in speed between autos and photos but there is a couple of weeks in it most of the time - at the very least. I tried it, my last proper grow I selected all fairly fast flowering photos (not those photos that have been bred with autos to make them quick but just generally fast flowering plants) and it still took longer than my longest auto has taken and it annoyingly Hermes so had to turn into hash coz it was super annoying.) but that’s all in the past now… So I haven’t had to resort to using my AC yet but I did get a 1/4 of the price knocked off because it doesn’t work with the app properly and that’s basically what it was sold on! Don’t go to klarstein, people! She’s def been stretching for sure but I remember this being a really squat plant anyway and I have also trained it in a bit of an odd manner so that it grew outwards with a flatter canopy - I wouldn’t top in future. I don’t really know why I did - maybe because I always have (for the most part) but I think she’d have grown taller and had bigger side branching if I hadn’t but having said that it is pretty much impossible to tell! Unless you do an A/B test - which I obviously don’t have room for! In the next week I am hoping to see her get really hairy and hoping to have to attach a carbon filter - as that would mean she’s happy and I’m going to get some dank. With regards to expected harvest - I genuinely have no idea. She averages at around 2.5z/plant going on the info put into grow diaries and that it about what I got last time - I don’t think I ever weighed it tbh coz I grew it just to turn into rosin. Having said that, it is a totally different set up and the first time I am using this light, so I’m not sure of the capabilities of what is probably a 120-140w light - now I have dimmed it down. I mean, I guess if she was starved for light I wouldn’t have had to turn it down so I’m confident it can produce sticky buds. I will also turn it up to full power in the last couple weeks. She’s meant to be a 10 week or 70 day strain - and I hope that is true because I am going on holiday in early July so I can’t have her going on and on and on. She will have to be cut when she will have to be cut - and maybe hung whilst I am away with the ability to control the environment over Wi-Fi (and probably a camera). Iv just looked at dates and actually she can go on for 13 weeks and so it is all good - she should still be drying by the time I go there and should be ready for me when I get back - I’ll be doing a dry trim as I always do just because it slows down the drying process even more - although actually to be fair the main reason I used to do that was I didn’t have seperate climate control for drying and couldn’t use the tent as was on a perpetual grow. This time I’ll be able to set it tov 60%/60f and hopefully keep it there for a full couple of weeks. Obviously I get rid of big the fan leaves and also chop it into smaller branches but other than that I prefer to do it all dry - saves your choppers for one thing!

Hey guys! Sorry for the late update, I've been hella busy lately! 😱 This week was good and for that very reason it was uneventful. I did some defoliation to let the lower branches receive more light and it seems the plants received it well. 😁 Matcha still has some weird looking leaves 😰 but I suppose those are old leaves and they are just there because I didn't cut them earlier. Pistachio in another hand is doing great! 😍 I also took some photos of their roots, they look interesting! I suppose they are that way because the root mass below them must be huge. Pablo Escobar has been doing good. She was neem oil treated about 4 days ago. Then I treated her again today. Making sure I have eliminated the ghost pest I have not seem to found yet. I have seen it white sacs on the leaves. So something is about. So hopefully it is now exterminated. She was trained a little today and is ready for another week. Day 21 of Flower 🌸 Girls looking real fire right now — stretch is finally done and the canopy has locked in. Big, chunky colas are stacking up and the tent smells absolutely crazy when I open the door (honest — forgot how sweet flower smell is after a few years off). Quick notes / vibes: Switched to 400W HPS + 300W LED (4k) for flower — you can see the HPS side blasting the fattest colas. The two plants that were smallest under the little LED pre-flip have blown right up under HPS and are now the tallest. Kush Crasher is showing beautiful dark colours from the cooler nights (~17°C). Some big fan leaves are almost black — gorgeous. I did some supercrop & last tucks earlier while there was still room; with the net full I’m mostly done training — one last clean tomorrow/the day after, then I’ll let them fatten out. Watering: still giving ~3 L per plant every 3–4 days — feeding organic BioBizz line + Top·Max, Green Sensation in the mix as needed. Environment: box is in a cold, damp garage so I have to switch the inline off at night to avoid freezing. Running a 150W cabinet heater and a small Peltier dehumidifier (not perfect but helps). Humidity still a fight (keep an eye on it) — big fan circulation 24/7 helps a lot. Plan next moves: 1. Final lollipop / net clean tomorrow — remove any junk under the canopy, open airflow. 2. Stop training after this last tidy; let buds fatten. 3. Keep watching trichomes from week 6 onward and stagger harvests as needed. 4. Push RH down as much as possible in late bloom Strains in this run : Wedding Cake (back-left), Kush Crasher (back-center), AK-47 (back-right), Double Krush (front-left), Wappa (front-center), Detroit Runtz (front-right) — 6 clones, planted 10/10. This is the beggining of the fourth flowering week. Not hurry at all. Just moved out from my not so private apartment and this is the first 5 days of her inside of a wardrobe, which is fantastic showing those results. I have much time to wait and Im not hurry at all. Expecting to have at least 6 weeks more blooming. 07/04 - Total of 88 days old. Fed her today with 1/3 of 4-14-8 fert. She's showing good Healthy, like she wants more of everything (Light, fert, water, CO2). Intending to let her blooming 60 days more. (8 weeks).

The girls have performed very well this week! The LST began, and there was some great growth in side branching. I also started this week off with introducing them to some nutrients ❤️ Start of week 4, the girls had responded well to transplanting, so I decided to start with some LST. My main method is to use soft wire wraps (dollar store purchase!) I poke one hole in the side of the pot near the top, and then go directly opposite that hole and poke through to make another. The first hole is for a wire wrap to secure the base of the seedling from pulling right out or over too far. The other hole is for the direction you want to bend your plant to. I start by slowly working the stem between my fingers at the point where I want it to bend. Twisting and pinching slowly so not to snap. *wait a day or two after your last water, or it will be easier to snap* once it’s ready to flop, I use the wire tie to hold down the top of the plant as close as I can to the nearest shoots. I’ll usually leave the plant like this for a couple of days, adjusting the ties, and then take them off to let them recover . Watered with a small dose of the full line I will be using for this grow. The girls got about 500 ml at the beginning of the week, but 2 days in I could tell they wanted more. By the end of the week they are taking nearly 1/2 gallon (which will give me 10% runoff) At the end of the week I increased the intensity of the BP2500 to 190 watts at the wall and the girls did show a few wrinkles as they adjusted, but have quickly recovered. I haven’t topped these girls, and I’m not sure if I am going to… thoughts? Happy Gardening 🇨🇦❤️🌱😎💨
