What a mission, finally I am at the end of my four cycle, she’s my last plant to be harvested, sadly she lost 60% of her bud, her main stem and a lot of brunches snapped 😭😭😭😭😭😭 off during heavy rains, I cannot believe it, it has been four months last I posted, 😂😂😂😂, I so sorry, rest assured she reached harvest and there is proof, what a journey… so many times I wanted to give up and uproot her, but look at her now, she’s the most potent strain in the 4th cycle, and trumps everyone with aroma, taste and high. Cannot wait to do it again, this time with mOre maturity and care. She gave me 63grams, though the scale says 67, the plastic I weighs 3 grams.

The plant is also very stable. Today I defoliated a bit and took away the lower shoots. Pistols have also been on display here for the last 3 days. The shoots grow very unevenly. This could also be due to the light exposure, although the Strawberry Gorilla has the same light exposure and grows evenly.

Off to the races. I couldn’t get them to start taking up nutrients low and behold a temp change of 4 degrees from 73 to 77 switched it up and now they are doing their thing. I topped one, fimmed on and left the last one alone but they will all receive low stress training about 10 days from now and I will then try to get them to about 30” before flipping the switch.

* ********* Week 11 - June 20 to 26, 2020 - Days 71 to 77 from germination *********** * It is the end of flush week and she went into darkness on Wednesday night, day 75, for two days. Saturday will be harvest day and start and the dry process👍 This week she continued to fill in and she also pushed out more frosty tricombs!! The fade happened this week more and she fed off of more of the nutrients within the plant.....perfect😃......would like a little more even but she was ready based on tricombs. Would like to have seen the lower leaves a little more yellow but its good. I am feeling very strongly that the big part of the pH issues this run was a change in feed water. I have always used bottled RO water for all my grows, except outdoors, but this grow I switched to tap water. Dechlorinated the water with air stone and gave it 24 hours min before using. Wanted to save some money and tired of lugging bottles downstairs a couple of times a week☹️ This is worked out nicely and a lot more convenient. However, the city must be putting some crap in the water that is causing issues in my media and raises the pH after the watering. Out of the tap it is 8.4pH and 275ppm. Since ppm were not too bad in my opinion I moved forward without filtering the water.......oops🤬🤬🤬 Out of options on what is causing the issue, I switched back to RO water late last week........all the girls are happier!!!! F......missed the cause for weeks. Always learning from this plant and my own mistakes to get better every run😉👍 Also wanted to add a little more stress to girl to help push out some increased resin. I drilled a 5/16” hole into the main stem to cause her stress. I did this rather than trying to break a branch and will see it goes this run. Sterilized a new bit in Alcohol and went for it. They went into darkness about a couple of hours later. Excited to see what happens when she comes out to get chopped😃😃 Not really a lot more to add this week as it was mainly looking at the tricombs and her buds. The pH will impact the harvest but she has been fun to grow and very resilient to pest and bug issues as well as grower curve balls. As always.......nice job Sweet Seeds....... SWS56 is very solid and I look forward to running her again one day. Beautiful little girl and makes me smile😃😃😃 Little more detail...... June 20/20 - Day 71 - Rezin and Liquid Weight @ 2ml/L = 285ppm and 4.0pH - 8L given to get a good flush....pH still running around 7.4 - Runoff in pots already were 7.9pH and 685ppm. - after 8L water runoff was 7.4pH and 360ppm. - she is 20” tall and 24” wide. - a number of clear tricombs but more becoming cloudy. June 21/20 - Day 72 - dry out day. - buds are firming up......squeezed a couple🧐 June 22/20 - Day 73 - Rezin @ 1ml/L = 120ppm and pH the water to 2.7!!!!!!!!! - Given 2L watering. - No runoff water and I am good with that as I want the low pH water to stay in the medium. - her frost levels are really coming out now.....was able to lower tent temps to 75 degrees and 51% humidity......its been raining a bit so damn humidity has been high. June 23/20 - Day 74 - 2L plain water feed - 80ppm and pH to 2.4!!!!!! - not excited about these crazy low pH numbers but doing what we can - her tops are getting more pointy now and ripening nicely - leaves continue to fade......she is close - checking tricombs, I think we are done and tomorrow will be her last day so that I can take down on Saturday. June 24/20 - Day 75 - 2L plain water feed - 80ppm and pH to 3.0 - Going into darkness tonight so this was her last bit of moisture. - drilled a hole into the stem.....was going to do a couple of holes but not trying this method before I decided to leave it with one hole. - into darkness tonight So we finish up the week with her in the dark. Alright I've updated this postmortem and cure just to give an idea of what I was up to during the dry and cure weeks. This grow was a ton of work and I'm very please with the results. I learned a ton about soil and environment control and really feel like I'm gaining confidence and coming into my own as a cultivator. I've been playing a lot with ice water hash and rosin and have set some neat goals for the future like hunting ice water hash cultivars, going perpetual and expanding the amount of canopy I can work with by building a network of remote-operated satellite flower tents in friends' and family's abodes . Leaving nuets as they are as this will drop pot EC. Setting the alarm for the AM before lights out at 7:30 and changing the sched to 6AM-6PM summer is done no need for current schedule. Day 44 - The smell is divine, and the buds are looking very pretty. Beautiful fade going on in the leaves, almost like a purple/red/black. Planning to tapper down the nutrients as we are coming closer to Harvest. Crucial to keep the pH in range during flowering and being away a few days, I wasn't able to correct it until I was back. So they were drinking more water than uptaking nutrients.. leaving a high EC in the system. Corrected the issue by adding plain RO water, treated with cleanse, no nutrients. They are now on track and could do with a last defoliation, but I've been holding it off. Will get around to it over the next few days. The buds are sticky, smell great and rock hard. Dehumidifier was added to the tent to try lower the humidity to a better range. Can't wait to see the end results and product. Another 2 weeks an I think we will be good.

I think she is all set now But I could have waited one more week But I ran out of soil foxfarm ocean forest And some other stuff which makes me Recycle this pot and transplant red poison auto who is right now flowering very fast and good so it is the end for sweet Gelato our first sweet Gelato from sweet seeds Thanks a lot guys for helping me out. Another great week it’s been , 2 Ogreberrys an brucy b been flushing for a week, an the 3 others will continue to get there normal feed of nutrients, they are just not quite ready so they will start getting flushed around next week!! Sweet sweet smell of Grapes And gooey frosty nugs is all I can really say, photos do no justice, some of the craziest fruitiest smelling buds I’ve ever had, Real High quality meds !! Nun, in der letzten Woche ist Einiges passiert: Beide Pflanzen wurden in ihre 11 l. Stofftöpfe umgepflanzt und in der Mitte der Woche getoppt. Sie haben es sehr gut vertragen und erfreuen mich mit ihrem Wachstum. Überhaupt sind es sehr schöne Pflanzen mit ihren violetten Blattstielen und den hellgrün- und dunkelgrünen Blättern. Gedüngt wurde nicht, da die neue Pflanzenerde erst einmal genügend Dünger bereit hält. Aber dann habe ich die Blumat Tropfer für die automatische Bewässerung in Betrieb genommen und nun sammelt sich überschüssiges Wasser in der Bodenwanne, was den anderen Stecklingen sehr zugute kommt. So war es aber nicht gedacht. Die genaue Einstellung der automatischen Blumat-Bewässerung ist etwas, dass ich zum ersten Male durchführe, habe also noch keinerlei Erfahrung darin und das Ergebnis sehe ich nun. Immerhin habe ich in den Stofftöpfen eine Drainage eingebaut, sodass die Wurzeln nicht geschädigt werden. Die Stecklinge scheinen das überschüssige Wasser zu lieben. die beiden großen hinteren Pflanzen, sind Mutterpflanzen, die ich seit August am Leben gehalten habe, darunter eine Divine-Seeds Fractal-Mutter, für die immer noch kein Ergebnis im Wettbewerb zur Verfügung steht 😒. Meine automatische Steuerung sieht etwas chaotisch aus, ich hoffe das noch in den Griff zu bekommen.😜 Leider kann ich keinen genauen Wasserverbrauch angeben, da das Wasser direkt aus der Wasserleitung kommt und nicht aus einem höhergestellten Behälter, ich vermute der Wasserverbrauch liegt z.Zt. bei 50-100 ml, ist aber nur eine Schätzung. Ich wünsche euch eine weitere erfolgreiche Grow-Woche und bedanke mich dafür, dass ihr meinen Report besucht habt. Ich nehme sehr gerne Tips zur Blumat Steuerung entgegen....
