Added CalMag. Day #35 - topping 2/3 Da5 #38 -decided to stop using top feeding. roots are strong enough to continue growth itself. Clones have recovered making roots and now standing by itself. Plant responded very well to adding of CalMag, decide to proccede with topping (2/3). Algae start to form on the top feed tube. removed for cleaning and decided to stop. top feed get good results for the first weeks for root development but later is not so relevant, so decided to stop to see the results.

Happy 4:20 everyone! 🙌 I hope everyone's doing well and please remember to stay safe! The buds in my plant are getting bigger! Two of the side branches of Pistachio could not hold the weight of the buds (you can see when they fall on the timelapse!) so I had to "hang" them to the tent, yikes! 👽 I also increased the amount of Silver PK by 0.5 but I believe the PPM was a little too high, so next week I'll try lowering the dose of CalMax to see if that helps. Some of the trichomes on the leafs are starting to turn ambar (while the rest of the plant are transparent or very milky) so I suppose the girls are getting there! They need a liiiiittle more time since there are still some immature hairs, specially on Matcha. The leaves of Pistachio are also turning lighter in color and I've been removing them everytime one pops up. Anyway, see you all in my next update! 👍

A very sunny week that made the plants double in size and grow healthier. I didn't water once this week and the plants are good with it, thanks to @MadeInGermany. Pre-flowering stage has started this week and each day I can see more and more pistils. As I expect the plants to stretch the following 2/3 weeks, I thought some little training would help. So I taped a couple leaves downwards in each plant-the ones that blocked sunlight from sidebranches, that will be bud sites in the future-.

Hey my Cannabis loving friends! The HighCloudz is doing well, the buds are still growing bigger by the day and the resin production is abundant. This looks like a good strain for extractions and I'm planning to try and make some Piattella out of it. It's basically cold-cured bubble hash and it looks amazing. The smell of the plant is very strong, sweet and peppery and I need to be careful about leaving the door open for too long. In this stage I almost need to tie my hands behind my back and just let her bloom in peace. There were a lot of black flies in the GTools all of a sudden. They can't do too much harm to the plant in this stage but I don't want these critters ending up in the buds. I placed a few fly traps to make sure the infestation doesn't get out of control. If I can't get them under control with the fly traps I plan to use predatory mite to get rid of them. In the canopy however the buds are getting nice and frosty! The lower buds are also starting to grow bigger every day.

So this week after I gave it under nutrients I apparently gave it too much nitrogen while having a potassium deficiency. Shiney dark leaves, So i fixed that, but some didn't bounce back, and I tried nitrogen. I think they are doing pretty good considering everything I've put them through SO FAR. lol. Nutrients are NPK Raw's total lineup, follow their instructions at first, Fastbuds adjustments as of this week.

Week Harvest My journey of Runtz Automatic and her entrance in the Eternity Grow Cup 2025 began on January 7 when she popped her head above the soil. Runtz was an easy carefree plant to grow with no incidents of pests or disease. A few defoliations were all that was necessary to keep her in check. I kept her under a light schedule of 18/6 to maximize her light exposure. After topping her she grew only 24 inches tall. This small plant structure is suitable for growers with limited space. She was harvested on March 20, day 74 from germination. As part of the flushing process, I topped the pot with ice, then watered with ph 6.5-6.7 water for 3 days. Then I put Runtz Auto in the dark for 2 days still in her pot. March 20, she got the chop, Wet weight 314g and is hanging dry in a darkened room. As she dries, candy, sweet, fruity smells escape the room. Temps are 71-72and 43-48% humidity. I am sure she is as tasty as she smells and will not disappoint in effects. My sincere thanks to Patricia @Zamnesia for her support and encouragement throughout this grow. Big thanks and sincere appreciation to Plagron and Zamnesia for hosting this fun and exciting contest. Everyone entering the contest started with the same strain in either a feminized auto or photoperiod seed. Zamnesia generously provided 5 seeds to everyone and Plagron provided the Green Sensation flowering additive. During this contest I enjoyed visiting many contestants’ diaries and seeing beautiful gardens. Many, like me, are limited in space or number of plants they can grow but all are displaying fine specimens. Some Runtz phenotypes are very sativa dominant, with long thin leaf fingers, while others lean more indica. What will be most interesting will be the smoke reports on effects. My theory is that the more sativa leaning in structure, the more active, energetic and euphoric that plant will be and the indica leaning specimens will be more relaxing and uplifting. This strain is beautiful. It loved the LST and grew very well without any problem. Today I lollipopped her, so now the plant can concentrate all her energies on the top colas. The colas are just beautiful, and the smell is soo good, the best I have ever smelt.

This cross between Cherry Pie and Chemdawg and do-si-dos It smells vaguely like brain cake. However, chempie has a stronger aroma than brain cake. strong terpenes of linalool, and the smoke was quite harsh and powerful with each hit. The nicest form and most substantial buds in this crop

Really loved this plant and how it grew other then the fox tails, Unfortunately I had to move this weekend and just couldn’t continue growing her and moving at the same time. She still had a good 1-2 weeks left but what is there looks really good will update when she finishes drying.

I’m baaaaack!!! Sorry I’ve been away for a while. I’ve been busy getting everything together for the next phase… Welcome to the Dude Garden 2.0! I now have 3 grow areas. Two 2x4 tents (one for clone/veg, another for mothers) and a large 10x12’ish flowering area (its actually larger than that, but I’ll be conservative). The tents are running 300w LED’s and a T5 for the cloning/sprouting station. The flowering area has a 1000w HPS!!! I’m totally psyched to see how the HPS does with flowering for me. From all the research I’ve done It seems to still be undisputed that HPS is the best for flowering (but not so good on the electric bill). I moved all plants from the tents to the new flowering area under HPS. That includes 3 Blackberry’s (FastBuds), NYC Diesel Auto (Barney’s Farm), DinaMed+ and Critical+ (DinaFem), Cream & Cheese CBD (Seedsman) and 3 Cherry Hemp (Elevator Supply Co). With the autos You’ll see the first 2 Blackberry’s are getting close to harvest, but looking a bit funky due to the issues they had early on as seedlings. The 3rd is looking much better and will probably yield more than the first 2 combined. I do love the purple and the aroma is insane. The NYC Diesel Auto is looking very nice, the main cola is developing nicely and has great colors. With the photoperiod plants, most are already kind of big considering they haven’t flipped to flower yet. I’m expecting the stretch to kick in at any time for these girls. I hope they don’t break the roof. The Dinafem plants are looking best so far at this stage IMO, but the Cream & Cheese CBD is looking very nice too. And I’m not disappointed at all with the Cherry Hemp plants, one is several weeks older than the other two, but the smaller two have a great node structure. It should be very interesting to see how these 3 grow from here. I expect the older one to be the largest at harvest, but the 2 little girls look ready to explode. We’ll see what happens. I transplanted the photos from the 3 gallon grow bags to 7 gallon fabric pots. And also purchased some Pot Elevators that they are sitting on. The Plant Elevators are pretty cool, they have a mesh base to allow better drainage and air flow to the bottom of the pots. I have clones of all of the photos cut and planted in Jiffy pellets in a humidity dome. I took 3 clones of each. The strongest clones will become mothers, the others will be grown out. Note: The HPS gives much more of a yellow wash on the pics than I was expecting. I tried to color correct the pics the best I could and tried to get to the real colors, It should be pretty close.
