Week 4 of flower and it’s been a week for the books. The males gizzed all over the females and we spent the better part of a week harvesting the males for pollen, then defoliating and spraying the pollinated females, then going full sanitize on the entire tent… (that part always sucks). Either way, they’re off to the seed making and generally showing a brilliant, yet subtle pink across most phenos. Gonna be pretty cool seeing how the colours develop on these👌. The fact that the pinks are prevalent amongst all plants is very encouraging. Still early for sure - but… potential for something special👍. Terp. Profiles are becoming quite pronounced now too. So far, we’ve got one that smells of a very sweet sorta pine in female #3 and a definitive baked berrry scent in female #1. The hope was always to balance out the earthiness of the Kush which is classic to the strain in terms of taste, just not overly tasty. Again, still early but we might’ve achieved that here on crossing🤞👌. All told and as long as we keep ‘em alive to the finish - we should have tons of seed and a well defined set of partially drilled down traits. Counting 3 discernible potential phenos so far and can’t wait to see what the clones reveal🤟. Background This project has been a year in strain selection (and another year in the actual making) to get to this point with a viable potential cross. It’ll be a true polyhybrid with a mix of sativa and indica leaning properties for each. We’ve combined an especially powerful hybrid sativa strain of Strawberry with an equally manageable and hard hitting strain of indica dominant Skywalker OG. The hope has always been to combine them and boil out the best characteristics of each. The strawberry is phenomenal in terms of terp profile and a mix of strong head and body effects while the Skywalker is a mind bending, body butter kind of indica with that earthy Kush profile and flowery undertones. The strawberry is prone to botrytis and fasciation but features excellent terps and yields if grown correctly. She’s Also stretchy and somewhat unruly when she gets going. The Skywalker is a contrast in growth characteristics with a squat structure, medium sized buds and excellent resilience and resistance. The plan is to seed out the available females and take cuts of what we can post-stretch to get a closer look at any differing phenos. Still very much early stages for a stabilized new strain but we’ve got the right foundation of solid genetics. Now we just gotta get it off the ground to the next generation👍. We’re predominantly focused on the plants that demonstrate that hybrid vigour and wasting no time with any problem plants or runts. Thinking of pulling this whole run at this point, the stems are in a bad way and general structure has really suffered. FIM'd both girls this week & gave compost tea(ecothrive biosys) to aid recovery. Will make a decision on growing them out depending on how they respond. (Update end of week.) So in the first week these girls stretched terribly, instead of riding it out and letting them adjust I tried a trick I've applied with tomatoes in the garden and coiled an inch of the excess under the surface and covered it. After a burst of invigorating from the microbe tea(biosys) these girls seem to be recovering from the stress fairly well. The only down side, the stems have broken the surface and left me with these crazy bonsai style stems & the girls are very short and bushy, concerned the stems won't hold any weight later in life.. Will give this another week and make my decision TLDR; Don't interfere with nature when you can help it, especially with autoflowers. Update day 28 from sprout. Bbk1 showing signs of nitrogen toxicity after perking up, I had to use the bottle measure last week instead of a syringe. Much less accurate so assume this is the cause, just ph water for a while. Bbk2 perking up slightly. I did think these girls looked a funny shape and now I can see the stem properly its starting to make sense 🤦‍♂️🤣🤣

Day 16: These ladies are now nearly.at the end of their stretch I think. They are all forming decent looking flowers now and have sent a few mains skyward to mark their territory Wedding cake is an impressive girl . She is full of mains to develop and also has a lot of secondaries below decks on each of her main 4-way branches. She has trained out fairly well and is holding her shape well. Flowers are looking as they should and plentiful too. Her stems are nice and strong for the upcoming beast she will become. Ghost O.g is still an odd looking girl but is fighting for some good mains to be in the running now. she hasnt stretched too much in general but her lowers have certainly entered the race. She is a very chunky classy too. GG#4 has begun to get over my drowning of her roots with too high water levels in the tank. She hasnt held back too much really as she is the tallest of her group. In typical Gorilla strain style she still has skinny limbs but a few good heads forming flowers too now. Overall , things are doing ok and my error has given them a hurdle to overcome . Ac infinity reckons it's not getting above 25c but the thermo pro is reaching 27.5c. Weathers improving outside so may be time to purchase a small ac unit. In dieser Woche haben die Blüten an Größe dazu gewonnen. Auch Trichome bilden sich jetzt um die Blütenblätter und der Geruch wird langsam stärker.😳 Vorallem süße und Zitronen Terpene sind schon heraus zu riechen 🍋🍬⛽️ Ich habe jetzt den Blühstimulator etwas reduziert und dafür Overdrive dazu gegeben, denn jetzt wird es an der Zeit die Blüten zu mästen.😏 Leider sind die braunen bis rostfarbenen Punkte auf den Blättern nicht verschwunden.. es hat sich aber zu letzter Woche verlangsamt. Ich halte den pH-Wert weiterhin etwas höher wie zu Beginn und hoffe das es so stoppt. Den Blüten hat es weiterhin noch nicht geschadet.🌱🍀

JULY 26 - DAY 72 - Entering her 4th week of flower like a boss, she isn't as thirsty as her Meph counterpart but still bulking nicely JULY 28 - DAY 74 - Looking great! JULY 29 - DAY 75 - Fattening up and she looks like she can get substantially bigger, as the pistils are bright white.

Finally we are in bloom, the plants are fine and continue to grow with few problems, in this phase the Mimosa Evo in the abs pot, has some leaves locked inwards, while the others are fine, I wonder if I should worry about An excess of fertilizers or environment? The Tutankhamun has these tips pointing downwards and I don't understand why, I only gave water for almost 1 week but nothing has changed, the Gorilla Zkittlez is exploding with flowers and the other Mimosa continues to grow, although I believe that I will harvest a few grams from that plant! I also started giving him Bud Candy to increase the flavor and a little yield!

Hi fellow growers, for this first week of flowering, everything went smoothly. She took the defoliation from last week well and kept growing strong. She took 8cm during this first week of 12/12, nothing crazy but I hope she is gonna take more this coming week, so that she has pretty long main branches by the end of stretching. I'm glad the smaller branches that occupy the middle grew well and full up this empty space. I'm tucking daily the fan leaves from the main branches to allow a maximum light to reach the branches from the middle. Last week I was wondering if I had gone too strong on the defoliation and then I read about this schwazzing technique, when one defoliates even more, basically removing most of the leaves, this on the day of switching to 12/12 and then doing this same heavy defoliation 20 days later. So be prepared, in two weeks I'm gonna apply the recommended second heavy defoliation and we'll see how that goes together. 😁 Humidity is around 70% at the moment, it's on the high side but I'm not too worried about it. For the nutrients, I'm still religiously following the biobizz schedule and so far, so good. I started this week to log everyday some basic data about the plant, like height, temperatures and humidity. I guess it would be nice to have a little graph at the end to see the evolution of the plant or whatever one wants to do with the data. I think it's good practice too. -- Stereoscopic pictures -- You might have wonder what the hell are those two pictures where seemingly the same picture is put two times. They actually are stereoscopic pictures or 3d pictures. It's using the same principle as 3d for movies or virtual reality and it tricks your brain into seeing in 3d. Basically each picture is the view from each of our eyes. I made those pictures so it allows to see them in 3d without glasses. Follow along with this little tutorial (The picture "stereoscopy 2" is easier. I find it as well easier on a computer as smartphones have a smaller screen): - Having the pictures in front of you around 30-40cm (15-20cm on smartphones) from your eyes, start crossing your eyes slowly. - Both pictures are gonna move toward the middle. The idea is to make both pictures superpose each other in in the middle. - Start to focus on the superposition in the middle and if necessary, adjust the distance between your eyes and the screen. - Once it's in focus, you will instantly notice it and see my weed in crystal clear 3d! Day 28 folks. I fuckin tripped liked a dumbass and broke a bunch of branches off the frosted apricots in the 4x8, kept an eye on it and it popped out some nanners so I had to take it down. Hoping I got it out im time before it pollinated anything but not positive. It's always somethin. Broke a head nug off the platinum silk too but havnt found any dix on her so that one might be aight. The leaf strip with the trellis is just no Bueno. Might try a different method next run where u strip everything below the first node on day 7 of flower and then a quick pluck down the line so I dont have to do matrix shit thru the nets like Neo dodgin bullets. It has been a journey but I'm happy it's over. Would have liked it to go another week or 2 but I'm happy with what I got. She smells like cotton candy and I can't wait for a taste. ☺️🤤

June25:🤦‍♂️🏿🙆‍♂️🏿🤷‍♂️🏿 June27: the lizards have attacked again... for this... today we are going to raise the girls and place a mesh June28: I have no idea how they did it... but they got in again!

Week 8: Day 50-53: All seemed well with the White Crack plants, gave em their normal feed on day 51 PH'd to 6.5 and measured runoff PH(only got enough from WC#1 and #2). WC#1 read an astoundingly low 5.3 PH!! Like what??? No visible signs of stress or deficiences, but leaves feel less healthy than the other 2 White Cracks. WC#2's runoff measured at higher than ingoing at 6.7PH, which I think means I'm under feeding her. She looks insanely healthy though, so will just up her and WC#3's doses next feed, as they both look like very similar phenos and leaves feel and look healthy on both plants. Day 54-56: Ok so decided to flush WC#1 like I did with the 4 Assed Monkeys because runoff was more tha 1 whole PH off from ingoing last feed on day 51. Ended up with a runoff of 6.5PH, same as ingoing feeding immediately after the flush read 6+PH(took 4L of 6.5 PH'd water with regulator). Fed WC#2 and #3 with their scheduled calmg feed but I added some super PK this time to get the PH of the soil down a bit. Ended up getting 6,2-6,4 runoff on both plants, very happy with results of all my runoff now. Finally got that behind me... End of Week 8: WC#1 seems to be finishing the fastest, along with 4AM#1(if we go by the orange pistils). WC#2 and #3 have really stretched a bit more these past few weeks catching up to WC#1, and they all look amazing! Really stoked for the end of the month!
