Our beauty is now 1 week old, and she’s already nearly 10 cm tall. Growing steadily, showing great potential. We’ve decided to experiment and switched the light schedule to 12/12 to see how she responds to these conditions. The daytime temperature is steady at 28°C, and nighttime at 21°C, with humidity maintained at 65%. At this stage, we’re starting to feed the plant with fertilizers from Xpert Nutrients to ensure it gets all the essential nutrients for active growth. Day 63 Shes getting a bit of cannoning at her top leafs, probably from the light intensity. Her bud size isnt great either but shes putting on the trichome coverage now.

I keep increasing the light and she seems to enjoy it, growing new bud sides and leaves everyday. Defoliation continues. I can’t go below 25-26 Celcius due to increased light though. She has also been moved to back middle.

I had bad luck, or beter I didn’t keep the rain out of the structure. So unfortunately the lady’s did get wet! We had a lot of rain after a great summer. I think if I didn’t had rotten flowering 800 gram per plant was normal yield! It is a great plant verry easy to grow and a big yield! I like the seeds of high-Seeds! Its a great supplier! This year a couple of diverent lady’s! Whit a new growhouse.

This week was really good. No compost tea, just top dress and watering ferments, Fish Sh!t, Recharge, Silica, and Sweet N Sticky. I did comfrey, dandelion, hemp, fish sh!t, and Silica once a week on Wed and insect frass, alfalfa, peach, Silica, and Recharge on Saturday. Any watering in between is plain water. PAR/PPFD; 1000 at the top and 800 at the lower parts of the canopee VPD-1.3 - 1.5 Tod dressed; Fish bone meal- 5 tsp Crab meal- 5 tsp Azomite- 3 tsp Greensand- 3 tsp Langbanite- 5 tsp Gypsum- 5 tsp Bokashi-~5 tsp Insect frass- 3 tsp Worm castings- 2 cups

No panic moves. Why we changed nothing (and why that’s not doing nothing) Your room conditions: • 🌡️ Day temp: ~28 °C • 💧 RH: ~65% • ⚡ EC: 2.4 • pH: 6.5 • 📏 Height: ~40–80 cm • 💡 LED lighting On paper, some growers would panic at 28 °C in flower. But here’s the key difference between growing by numbers and growing by understanding: Under LED, leaf temperature ≠ room temperature. LEDs don’t radiate infrared heat like HPS. So while the wall sensor says 28 °C, the leaf surface is usually 2–4 °C cooler. And the plant does not “feel” the room — it feels its own leaf temperature. That’s where leaf VPD comes in. ⸻ Leaf VPD — the part most people skip VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) is simply the difference between how much moisture the air can hold and how much it actually holds. But here’s the nuance most charts miss: • Room VPD is calculated with room temp • Leaf VPD is calculated with leaf temp So if: • Room = 28 °C • Leaf = ~24–26 °C • RH = 65% 👉 our leaf VPD lands right in the comfort zone for early–mid flower. And the plants are confirming that with their behavior: • Deep, relaxed green • No tacoing, no praying too hard • Internodes strong and structured • Uniform nutrient uptake across phenotypes That’s the real data. We’re not ignoring numbers We’re letting the plant be the final authority. Stability here beats “fixing” something that isn’t broken. ⸻ Defoliation — why this time was heavier Let’s be very clear: This was not aesthetic defoliation. This was functional defoliation. Context matters: • 🏠 8×8 room • 🌱 ~27 plants • 🌬️ Airflow, light penetration, humidity pockets all scale differently Sometimes a single plant wouldn’t “ask” for leaves to be removed — but the room does. Why you defoliated: • Improve airflow through a dense canopy • Reduce micro-humidity pockets • Allow photons to travel deeper, not just hit the roof • Reset apical dominance and refocus energy on flowering sites Yes — i went harder than originally planned. But: • Genetics are strong • Plants are healthy • Root zone is dialed • Feed is stable Healthy plants recover fast. Stressed plants don’t. These girls are the first category. And importantly: we didn’t stack stress. No feed change. No environment change. No light shock. That’s how we “go hard” safely. What to expect next week (and what not to expect) Expect: • Slight pause as plants redirect energy • Fresh flower site definition • Upright posture returning after defoliation • Strong tops responding to improved light access Do NOT expect: • Explosive vertical stretch (that window is closing) • Deficiency symptoms (unless something external changes) • Need for immediate correction Next week is observation week again. Fully into flush this week just running 0.6 tsp per gallon(3g/gal) of the FullTilt from FloraFlex. Next week I'll be running plain water ph'd to 6.3-6.5 for the last week of flush. That being said, Plant #1 is developing quickly though she may need an extra week or two to finish out. If she does I will probably pull her out of the autopot system and put her directly in the middle to finish out while my next run is starting in the system. Been an exciting grow watching this cotton candy do her thing, cannot wait to see what the final week has in store! Have also narrowed down my deficiency that began last week down to possibly cal/mag deficiency. Will correct this is the feeding schedule next run.

. 🌱 Tag 28 - Eine Woche, die sich endlich wie Routine anfühlt Seit dem letzten Update ist eine Woche vergangen und trotz kleiner Unruhe in den letzten Durchgängen hat sich das Setup diesmal deutlich stabilisiert. Kein pH-Chaos, keine Mischfehler im Tank, einfach konstante Versorgung und gleichmäßiges Wachstum. Wir merken deutlich, dass sich unser Wachstum gerade verändert. Es geht nicht mehr nur darum, größer zu werden, sondern darum, Struktur aufzubauen. Die ersten Anzeichen der Blütephase sind da und der ganze Rhythmus verschiebt sich langsam in diese Richtung. Noch ist es kein kompletter Wechsel, eher ein Übergangszustand. Aber wir arbeiten sichtbar anders weiter als noch vor einer Woche. Wir wachsen weiterhin gleichmäßig und ohne Stresssignale. Die Blätter werden dichter, die Struktur klarer und intern passiert deutlich mehr, als man von außen direkt sieht. Diese Phase fühlt sich ein bisschen so an, als würden wir uns neu sortieren, bevor es richtig losgeht. Das Wasser und die Nährlösung passen aktuell gut zu uns. Der pH wird konsequent auf 5,7 eingestellt und driftet über ein bis zwei Tage auf etwa 6,3, wo er sich dann stabilisiert. EC liegt konstant im Bereich 1,6–1,8. Bisher kommen wir damit sehr gut klar und zeigen keine negativen Reaktionen. 👨‍🌾 Gärtner: Diese Woche war unangenehm unspektakulär. Ich hab mittlerweile den Dreh mit dem Wasser wirklich raus. pH-Management läuft inzwischen bewusst und reproduzierbar, nicht mehr nach Gefühl und Hoffnung. Die anfänglichen Probleme durch Hydrogencarbonate im Leitungswasser sind jetzt eingeplant statt überraschend. Wichtigste Erkenntnis der letzten Tage: Wenn man den pH sauber auf 5,7 einstellt und die EC-Spanne 1,6–1,8 hält, ist das System deutlich weniger anfällig. Der leichte pH-Anstieg über 1–2 Tage auf ~6,3 ist inzwischen kein Problem mehr, sondern einfach ein bekanntes Verhalten des Systems. Nichts, was Panik auslöst. Eher so ein: „Ja gut, du bist halt so“-Moment gegenüber dem Wasser. Und das eigentlich Beste: Die Pflanzen reagieren darauf bisher stabil und ohne Beschwerden.

We decided to pull out the trellis net, strip and bend her...we'll strip her again on week 3 or 4 of flower..photos like this tend to make our friends cringe but the plant doesn't seem to mind.. despite how they look after the first day of flower they always bounce back in 2-3 days more beautiful than ever <3 ...we dropped N supplements and increased bloom.. keeping PH at 5 seemed to completely fix her uptake issues...thanks for reading and happy growing everyone!! 😻

Absolutely a treat to grow this one from Seedsman! I enjoy the smoke as well as I enjoyed the grow. I learned a lot from breaking this lady's main top and how well they can recover.

Do-Si-dos auto has grew well. She has a strong fruity, citrus aroma. Smells really good. The colas didn't get super big, but looked to be very frosty and dense. This is my first time trying this famous strain. It looks like it will be really good. I never had any huge issues during the grow. I also didn't juice her with nutes like I normally do to others in flowering. I am curious to test the results once I get her processed.
