Last week I neglected the fertigation beyond the low humidity all that delayed the first topping and leaf burned the most thirsty girls, by the end of the week I had already recovered them and succed topping, they are looking very healthy.

It seems like she needed to be closer to the light so I moved her a closer. She is growing very tall and fast. I water her once every two days or when I see the soil is dry. :)

I feel sorry for myself for not being able to show this transplant either just because of the battery of my freaking phone guys, but anyways, this beautiful cross of Casey Jones X cookies kush by gecko seeds called the big jeff, (pheno #1) has been Transplanted after 39 days since planted, I've prepared the 15L pot with the complete biotabs organic line, so I added 25g of startrex for every 5L of soil, then sprinkled a couple of grams of mycotrex on the transplant hole and then I added 1 biotab slow release tablet for every 5L of soil (3 tabs) after that I watered the plants immediately with 1G of bactrex per liter and 1ml per liter of orgatrex, so let's see how this beautiful lady performs!! NY Diesel Auto Feminised is an auto-flowering version of the celebrated New York City Diesel. It is mostly indica while also displaying some sativa-like cerebral effects to accompany the deep relaxation that it provides. NY Diesel Auto grows to a height of 60 – 100 cm. tall and develops plenty of side-branches that produce nice, dense buds. Growers can harvest yields of yields of around 600 gr/m2 in just 60 - 70 days from germination. This strain can also be grown successfully outdoors due to the hardy ruderalis genetics. The scent is very dank with notes of diesel fuel. THC production is in the region of 14 – 16% while CBD levels are around 2%. The overall effect has an initial cerebral quality leading into bodily relaxation and a sense of wellbeing while not being physically incapacitating 10/5 Dropped two NY Diesel Auto seeds into a shotglass of room temp spring water. Placed the shotglass in a dark warm cupboard. I will be preparing the medium today as well. The plan is 24 hours in the shotglass, 24 hours in a wet paper towel, then straight into 3gal fabric pots that have already been cooking for 2 days. They'll go under 18/6 with RH at 60% to 70%. 10/6 One seed has a tiny tap root and is still floating in the glass. The other seed fell to the bottom but has no taproot. Letting them stay in the shotglass another 12 hours. 10/7 Diesel #2 Half inch tap root and she sank to the bottom of the shotglass finally. I wet the coco-perl with PH 6.35 room temp water with Fish Sh!t in it. Let's grow Diesel #3 without Fish Sh!t for comparison. Diesel #3 She has a miniscule taproot and it's black. Could just be film from the seed case where it cracked. I put her in a damp paper towel and stuck her in the dish washer. We'll check back in 12 hours. 12 hours later, no change. Then I realized I forgot to put it in a zip lock. The paper towel was still wet tho. Put it in a zip lock, will check in the morning. 10/8 We have a taproot on NY Diesel #3. Put some Azos in the drop site and sowed the seed. Half a shot glass of water to seal it in. 18/6, 67% RH, 80°f

So week 6 over and looking strong (for me) All but SP2 looking healthy praying to the light. Stretching nicely and starting to get some decent frost on GC1. It’s normally at this point I start to struggle. Last time was top dressing too late and they all yellowed up. But top dress in wk5 followed by another this week & a compost tea. That’s it still smoking my homegrown delicious weed from grow 3 with zero cash and time spent on wankstain kiddy dealers shitty weed. - definition of happiness. I was wrong about my clones I thought that I had two clones of mimosa evo and two red hot cookies then I was thinking maybe it’s green pheno, but now with the strong smell I recognize the blue widow from zamnesia🤭 I also think 🤔 that the clone looks the same as the mother plant so it cannot be green phenotype 🤪💪💪💚

Discovered a male plant in with my girls in the bigger tent. No pods had burst, it was only about 10 days in to flower. Moved the male to the small tent and moved the older flowering PT clone to the big tent. The larger plant has less time for seeds to develop and while I want seeds, I still want quality bud as well... trying to minimize pollination as much as I can until I have the chance to selectively pollinate branches on each of my girls. This plant got moved to the large tent and ScrOGed. Here’s to hoping I am able to minimize the pollination. This is an end grow and I don’t have any seeds put back so the male isn’t getting chopped until he does fertilize a few females. So far the male has been reduced to three main colas, I hope to only pollinate one branch on each female. Some random seeds from natural pollination are also okay if it happens. Ignore my commentary on the video unless you just want to know about the strains I have lol... a friend has a clone about the same size of the same strain and asked about my grow since getting the same lights I have.

Sorry for the late update. I harvested all plants together to dry in the tent for a slow dry. It took 8days till the stems broke/snap and everything felt dry by the touch. I cured and stored in grovebags. After 10-14days of cure, the flower were ready to smoke. Had to burp the bags, because the rh was a bit to high, but all in all unfelt very safe with the geovebags. Very happy with the result. In the end I got 240g of flower from all plants with 200watt led, so a bit over a 1g/watt. Goal for next run is to get 2g/watt. The bagseed flowers give a nice and strong high, not the greatest taste, but smokable.

Growing some seeds I won from Diary of the Month here on Grow Diaries!!! I'm so grateful and excited for another learning experience doing what I love! Thank you, FastBuds! 🙏 Seed was germinated directly in Rapid Rooter placed in a seedling tray. I put her in darkness for 48 hours and then in a sunny window. Three days later, the seedling's little head poked up and the next day she showed me her first true leaves - calling this day 1. I kept the seedling tray in a sunny window and brought her outside for lunch on my sunny deck with me for the rest of the week. Given the heatwave we were having here, I got her settled into her net basket sooner rather than later so that she could have a more stable environment. This plant will is being grown indoors in an 2x4x8 Gorilla Grow Tent using an 8 gallon Current Culture Solo Bucket under California Lightworks 550 Solar System LED. For grow media I am using clay pellets and I use the entire Cultured Solutions line of nutrients. I will be showcasing this plant in a grow tutorial over on my YouTube channel and IGTV where I am going to show a detailed walk through of how I grew my original "Budzilla" plant. Unfortunately, I don't have a grow diary for her, but she is featured on my IG account. The technique I use I created after harvesting my first grow. I had used low stress training on an autoflower and achieved beautiful results. I took notes the entire grow and conducted a postmortem. I sincerely advise doing this for EVERY grow - especially when you are learning. It provides you opportunity to figure out what went right, what went wrong, what could have gone better, and what ideas you think you can toss into the mix to try to improve on the places that need revamping. I did this and I came up with the hypothesis of starting my plant off-center in the net basket, and then growing it low and in a spiral around the outside. In my head, I thought something like this could really push the limits of low stress training, especially when used on an autoflower where we have a limited time of vegetative growth. I didn't realize, at the time, JUST how effective the technique would be, but when the grower community on IG exploded over the sight of my plant, I started to get a feeling a did something right. As I was still only growing my second plant in my entire grow career, I was completely oblivious to the fact that I had pushed the normal boundaries of an autoflower.... I had nothing else to really compare it to. Nearly a year later, photos of my Budzilla are still being shared around social media in the grow community and I still get asked regularly about how I grew her. And with that, we start here on the journey to attempt the recreation of my former masterpiece. But I'm taking it one step further and giving you a detailed, step-by-step guide so that even the newest of growers can follow along and learn how to push an autoflower to its beautiful edge. This week the Blackberry shows a solid progression into the late flowering stage. Buds are already dense with a nice resin coverage and the aroma is becoming more intense. From now on I’m stopping Big Bud and switching to Overdrive for the next two weeks. The reason for this is that Big Bud is mainly focused on building bud size and structure during mid-flower, while Overdrive is formulated for the final phase, helping the plant push out extra weight, density, resin and terpenes before the flush. This way the Blackberry can fully focus on ripening and maximizing quality in the last stretch.
