The growth of these plants has all in all been quite simple .... in comparison .... what they have been able to give me back .... is something extremely RARE Between one phenotype and another they each took on a different color....but all extremely potent! Tight, solid buds that overflow with resin 😬😋 Just how I like them!! my work combined with the scrog technique paid off and these fantastic lights meant that even the lower buds got the light they deserved ,But all this would not have been possible if I hadn't had good nutrients with me to enrich the soil at the right point! All without ever checking the EC of the ground 😉 Stay updated

Alright boy-o!!! let's flip the script and do some growing, put what I can out here and see what we get. One thing is for sure... Screw 12/12 from seed its not useful for me and I'm tired of the waste. Oh, and ApPAreNtLy if you don't prove grow skills as a new grower, people get butt hurt and it only goes downhill from there... so here we go this tents about to get full. Cheers! Thank you @marshydroeleen for the light and let's see what this light can do. That said, Let's talk set up. My 3x3 is powered by the MarsHydro TS1000 and is being cooled via air recirculation. This is achieved with my 4" ipower inline fan. Humidity isn't an issue for me by nature of climate. My tent temperatures are easily controlled simply by stopping air recirculation. It is dried out simply by restarting the fan. This is in pat due to running the driver external of the tent to provide a few degrees less in the tent. Humidity is increased by stoppage and this also increases the Temps very slightly until at about 78f. Now all of this would normally be a chore to keep track of, however my yardsale score ($80) included a Titan Controls Saturn 6 with the photocell addition makes this as easy as plugging it in. Now, if that score wasn't sweet enough it also included the co2 tank and valve to boot. This is currently set up and plumbed in the top of the tent. This won't be plugged in and operating until the first week of flower. Until then it's ready to go. I filled my sub irrigated 3.5gal planters with SUNSHINE company mix#4 with mycorrhizae and watered with 1/3gal of water from the tap. The transplant went smoothly and we will start watching this lady turn things back around. This will be a good show of what the strain has to offer. After a good thorough cleaning the tent is set and the ladies are in. There will be new ladies joining the tent in a few weeks but for now these ladies return to veg in peace. I hope to turn this nightmare of a run into a sponsorship worthy run. So here’s Week 2 of the Sweet Seeds Gorilla Girl XL Auto’s grow. All in all an easy week but there has been time spent reinforcing a couple of the seedlings because they are so top heavy. I check in on my seedlings at least once a day (oftentimes 2-3 times daily) just to make sure that all equipment is functioning well and temps are stable. Upon looking into the windows of the tent I discovered that the smallest seedling (the one that lost one of it’s cotyledon leaves) was tipped right over. I gently supported her with a homemade splint (a tent peg/pipe cleaner combo- pictured above) and she’s currently standing on her own again. She’s still smaller than the others but surviving, not thriving for now. I used some fresh additional soil to fill in any gaps and pack down around the bases of the other three plants’ stems. Speaking of stems/stalks- the three healthy seedlings have peeling/stretching stalks and are starting to push out their first sets of branches. Other than that, same routine as always- watering every fourth day at 1.4 litres per watering or 0.35 of a litre per plant per day. I will be increasing the water sometime over week three. That’s it for now. Mom’s Tip for Week #2- Don’t Over Water! (when growing in soil of course)… When learning to read your plant’s needs, water is a very important factor to consider. I often notice other growers with tiny seedlings sitting in completely saturated pots of soil. Or read that many other growers don’t believe in placing newly sprouted seedlings into their final containers/pots. Both issues being easily resolved by simply paying close attention to your plant’s body language, it’s grow environment and sticking to a schedule. Cannabis truly thrives and benefits from a wet to almost fully dry watering cycle. From my own personal experience with photosensitive strains grown outside in the summer to growing autoflowers indoors through the fall, winter and spring- all of my Cannabis seems to do best when watered every 4th day like clockwork! This schedule is somewhat subjective of course depending on the environment that you are growing in. Here in Canada, much of our year is cool to cold and the humidity is relatively low. Because of this my plants are not always able to take in moisture from the air through their stomas so they suck up more water from what’s readily available in their pots. In other environments (ex. tropical), you may be able to stretch out this cycle- watering every 5-7 days because your plants are pulling so much water directly from the humidity in the air. And how you water your plants matters too. When starting out with newly sprouted seedlings placed into their final containers- less is more. There is no need to completely soak all of the soil in a 5-7 gallon pot. Simply start with a small amount (0.5-1 litre) directing the water to the base of the plant, working your way outwards in a circular pattern. As you increase the amount of water, I try to work my water outwards- making my circle slightly bigger each time I water until eventually I am soaking the soil surface all the way out to the edges of the pot. This process is gradual, stretched over a period of 4-6 weeks. It will encourage the roots to reach for water and allow your plants the time needed to grow into a heavy dose of H2O. Finally, learning to read your plant’s body language will help you to understand when they need and don’t need water as well as food, more/less light, temperature changes, etc. Healthy, well watered plants are generally light green with leaves slightly turned up towards the light/sun. They will be growing/thickening every day and able to support their own weight even in a very breezy environment. Leaves are soft and supple, not dry and brittle and there are usually no marks or discolouration of any kind on the foliage throughout your grow. Water quality is important too but that’s any entirely different tutorial for another time. Bountiful harvests are very possible by simply tweaking your watering schedule to suit your plants’ ultimate needs.

I did her first water change on day 10 upped the nutrient dose and increased the reservior to 12 gallons. Gave her the first dose of armor si and humic acid. I topped her on day 12 to start 4 main branches. Will most likely top again and start training in about a week depending on how she wants to grow. She is the slowest growing plant so far but I have high hopes for her. The goal is a maximum of 5 weeks veg if they cooperate. They are under 240w qb and a galaxyhydro pulling about 140w for now. Will be adding more qb when I spread the buckets out.

This week has been a recovery week. Cleaned the roots in alien root rot x..turned lights down to 4x250w chiller still struggling..waiting for new big one..roots still look a little brown but nute solution is brown. New roots coming out of baskets nice and white and thick. Plenty of new growth. Keep topping and have added lst to try and combat stretch and allow light in. When running advanced ph perfect at half strength ph is too high at full strength ph drops back into the 5s. Ec at 2.8 but no sign of nute burn yet anyway..

Woche 11

Harvest day 66 since time switch to 12 / 12 h Hey guys :-) Finally it's time 💚 The lady is done the large leaves have been removed and hung upside down to dry in the dark drying room. You can now stay there for 13-15 days at a temperature of 18-20 degrees and 55-62% humidity. After 13-15 days it is neatly trimmed by hand and placed in jars with boveda packs 62. After 4 weeks Boveda 58% come in and are ready for testing ;-). After everything has been cut cleanly, the last update comes with the smoke report and the finished pictures. Let's get to the plant 💚 Very nice phenotype with an extremely good smell. Growth was normal after the initiation of flowering. Looks beautiful with its jagged leaves 😃. As always, the Green House fertilizer did a very good job and I can only recommend everyone to try it out🚀 Have fun and stay healthy 💚🙏🏻

Due to movig home some stress was caused, and it’s expected she will stay in veg for a bit longer. I am surprised how little feed is enough for an autoflower. I’m checking the ph and ppm in the tray daily and adjusting the feed accordingly.

Sweet Bourbon Kush is growing really good. She is bulking now. She has a aroma of a sweet Bourbon hence her name. Everything is looking really good. Just letting her do her thing at this point. Plus trying to keep her wet and fed. Timer set to 12/12! 27-3 Temps: 19.1 to 23 degrees Humidity: 55% to 65% Watering: Both 1000 ml. Defoliated both plants, and did some LST. 28-3 Temps: 19.1 to 23 degrees Humidity: 55% to 67% Watering: Both 1000 ml. 29-3 Temps: 19.8 to 22.9 degrees Humidity: 58% to 67% Watering: Both 1000 ml. 30-3 Temps: 19.2 to 22.8 degrees Humidity: 58% to 67% Watering: Both 1000 ml.

everything in the second week of flower went well. she really stretched and the buds quickly started getting fat. also every watering i would notice a very strong odor of weed. december 22nd 2021: gaver her last half of gallon used in last feeding. also nothing was tested. ph tested at 6.6 last feeding and it usually comes out a little higher after a few days. january 1st 2022 i noticed the first trichomes.

Week 6 for the current leader

Hello my beloved potheads. PLANTS WENT ROGUE AND FULL BERSERK !!! THEY ARE READY TO START FLOWERING. THE MOST IMPORTANT SHIT SHOW OF THIS DIARY , BECAUSE WILL PROVE OR DEBUNK IF THIS SETUP/ TECHNIQUES WERE IDEAL FOR BUDGET GROWERS. PLAGUES WERE CONTROLLED WITH SPRINGHILL OIL (Anasac) , and the mix with regular soap and top crop barrier make it way less prone to be infected & protected in case of other future realiates and relapses. I DONT HAVE COMMENTS FOR PLANTS EXCEPT FOR THIS: I MUST TAKE CARE OF THE FLOWERING STRETCH because it can make the plants hit any light and burn!. Plants are a bit overfed but their savage grow between weeks shows this ain't disadvantage at all , regards.

Day 57 of flower, we’re on the home stretch now. I’ve been flushing them out for the past week or so now. I like to flush for 21 days. IMO, I think the buds taste better and smoke smoother when you flush longer than usually but that’s just me! No specific pics/vids of the white widow but I thought I share my entire garden with you guys. I said I would harvest on day 70 but I might harvest on day 63-65 because I’m seeing more amber trichomes every day. My next update will either be harvesting or I’ll be letting them go for another week. Until next update! 🙏🏾
