~ FastBuds PAPAYA SHERBET Photoperiod~ Well here we go on another journey together through 'Canna-land' and this one's kinda special... forget that, it's VERY special because this is FastBuds newest surprise for the community, a FEMINIZED PHOTOPERIOD STRAIN!🤯 I was fortunate enough to score these seeds, of which only 1000 were available and can't wait to see what this strain can do! This Papaya Sherbet, according to FastBuds, is a hybrid with a 9-10 weeks flowering period. For a more detailed and accurate description of this strain the following from FastBuds says it best: "Combining the massive stature of Papaya (Oni Selection) with the strength and resilience of one of our best keeper cuts (Sunset Sherbet), this strain develops into a big, expansive bush adorned with numerous bud sites that later transform into a generous harvest of medium-sized buds. Sounds like an epic strain and I personally cannot wait for this lady to strut her stuff!😍 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Setup: This is going to be an outdoor grow, but I have started the Papaya Sherbet photoperiod indoors as our weather is still a bit too chilly to put a newly sprouted seedling outside (nighttime temp's dipping regularly into the 40's℉). The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures are in the mid 50's℉, which shouldn't be long. After which, she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes from BioTabs and slow release dry amendments from Gaia Green. Once she's established herself outside she'll be given periodic top dressings of Gaia Green 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 along with worm castings and Compost Tea's. Her grow area is approx. 5'x5' and I have posts and a trellis net set up already for when she gets bigger to aid in training her. Week 6 of flower and the FastBuds Papaya Sherbet photoperiods flowers are exploding now! 9/22- My daily routine of watering, removing dead foliage and checking over the Papaya Sherbet continues. She is unfortunately starting to show signs of Septoria which is a bummer, but at least it's showing up late in flower so it hopefully won't affect the outcome too much. 9/24- Our weather has now cooled off dramatically, with daytime highs in the mid 60's℉, and nighttime temperatures dipping into the low 50's℉. As a result I have cut back on the amount of water the Papaya Sherbet photo is receiving daily. 9/26- There's another exciting week of flowering on the books for the FastBuds Papaya Sherbet photo and from the looks of her, she only has a couple of weeks to go! July 11: ouch. A hail storm went through in the afternoon and shredded things pretty hard. Big old fan leaves were ripped apart while smaller leaves are fine. She will recover but it’s a bummer of a setback.

GNOMO AUTO / Kannabia Seeds Gnome Auto is a easy plant to grow she stays true to the indica genetics and doesn't get to tall additionally she smells earthy and fruity and she gets covered in trichomes. Highly recommend you grow this strain if your into indica. I really appreciate 🙏 GROWDIARRIES for giving the grow community a place to share and learn. I grow for medical reasons so if you also grow for medical purposes stay growing and pass that knowledge along. I'll update when she's done curring. Having trouble keeping humidity up as my grow is in the basement. Have home humidifier set to 35% but not enough even with a humidifier in the tent set to 60. Lights out isn’t an issue, it’s when lights on and the 6” exhaust is running that my temps are good but rh too low. UPDATE 12/21: The girls are back on track I fixed the whole home humidifier and added more humidifiers so my humidity is up to 50s. Plants are extremely healthy and the soil ecosystem is dreamy. Lots of worms at subsurface, cover crop is spreading and growing well and the plants are loving life.

Week 5 (1.15.26 --1.22.26) took photos on 1.22.26 1.16.26 stopped watering only 2 stagnant plants because they sit in a pool of water and the roots need oxygen. (Remove water line clippers after coco dries) 1.19.26 transitioned to late bloom nutes 1.21.26 Removed clippers from 2 drippers from the right stagnant plant (the coco has dried enough)

Y a la vez es medio resistente, teniendo trips desde la 4/5 semana incontrolable salieron bastante bien. Week 5 is here and not really a whole lot going on except she is growing a lot and there are lots of pistils. I hope she gets more than 30g that would be cool. I did notice a small tree like coming off the fan leaves when I trimmed them but other than that I don't smell anything, yet! Through this experience I think I prefer photos to autos but I'm still learning and there is lots to learn, I could change my mind. Happy growing friends

Soon, their beauty will be dressed in flowers, but for now, the leaf structure alone is worthy of the spotlight. ⸻ 🌡️ Current Conditions • Room Temp: 31°C • Humidity: 50.3% • VPD: 2.23 kPa • PPFD: 766 µmol/m²/s • Soil EC: ~2.0 • Soil Temp: 25.6°C Yes, the temperature is running hot — AC unit is on the way to lock it back into our ideal zone. ⸻ 💬 Heat in the Grow Room – Risks & Benefits Potential Risks: • Faster substrate drying = more frequent irrigation needed • Higher transpiration rates can stress plants if roots can’t keep up • Slightly increased risk of light stress at high PPFD without proper cooling • Possible reduced terpene retention if sustained into late flower Possible Benefits (short term in veg/pre-flower): • Accelerated metabolism — plants grow and stretch faster • Increased water/nutrient uptake (if well-fed and watered on time) • Can improve CO₂ usage efficiency if levels are high enough Bottom line: As long as they’re hydrated, fed, and ventilated, short bursts of high temp are manageable.
