The purple punch cookies is looking happy. Will be switching them to flower in a week or less. I gave them a flush and fresh nutrients. The humic acid really makes a huge difference in the uptake of nutrients. I am at about half dose on nutrients compared to what I would have to feed without it. Winter is approaching and bringing the low humidity with it. All of the humidifiers I have tried either dont work or I have to constantly refill the tank. So I decided to use my redneck engineering skills to throw this humidifier together. It holds 4 gallons of water and she pumps like a freight train. I have dubbed her the Steam Queen. I got 2 cool mist foggers that put out about 400ml per hour each and used some things I had around to make them a little float. Added an old computer fan to force the mist out through a 2 inch pipe. She won't win any beauty contests but she pumps out plenty of cool moist air. I also upgraded my exhaust to a variable speed for more added environmental control. Just going to do a little more training over the next week then try to make some buds.

*Week 4 Flower 09/24* Both Mimosa girls appear to be running fine with Mimosa (1) running a little behind but is catching up accordingly. Small oversight in early growth resulted in a minor stunt but she is improving dramatically. Water Feed has increased by half a gallon ( 1gallon clean - .5 gallon nute feed) *Week 4 Flower 09/28 - Mid week update* Both plants are flowering accordingly - Mimosa (1) is a bit taller then Mimosa (2) Buds are becoming dense and covered in trichomes. No deficiencies - No areas of concern - Potassium and Phosphate feeds continue *Week 5 Flower end of week recap - 09/30* Both Mimosa's are flowering nicely - Budsites covered in frosty trichomes. Mimosa (2) looks shorter but that is because her COLA was tied down to expose bottom budsites.

It has been so hot, dry and yet humid this past week! We desperately need rain, if not I'll have to start trucking water from the house since the streambed is dry, which I included a video of. The girls are really stretching since they started to flower. Bubba Kush is the tallest at almost 60 inches and she has some lovely purple on her branches that I included in the photos. I finished up the Alaska brand fertilizer and found a local one at my garden supply store. It's from Saltwater Farm and it's a 3-2-2 Fish and Seaweed liquid fertilizer. They seem to like it just fine!

First week has come and gone. Spray watering twice daily. Now getting a pour every other day. All is good! This is under the Medic Grow Mini-Sun-2. This 150w light is built for the 2x2. Day 36 Grow Diary Entry – Day 36 (Flower Day 16) Strain: Sour Frootz by Karma Genetics Plants: 4 clones Training: HST + SCROG Today is Flowering Day 16, and the Sour Frootz ladies are officially deep into the early-to-mid bloom stage. Bud sites are now well-defined, and the pistils are stacking up nicely. The stretch phase has slowed down slightly, giving a good window for structural management. To keep the canopy even and under control, I applied high-stress training (HST) by bending and tucking the taller tops through the SCROG net. I also reduced overall plant height by about 25 cm, evening out the top layer across all four plants. This should help maximize light penetration and bud development across the entire canopy. The plants handled the stress well—no signs of wilting or shock so far. With this structure locked in, the SCROG net is now fully supporting the horizontal spread, allowing more light to reach secondary bud sites. The aroma is intensifying slightly, a sweet, fruity tang starting to build up when brushing against the leaves. Everything is on track. Seeing how the results are, the big ones I made apical and fmi species or the one you cut 3/4 I think they came out in a few days, some just cut the leaf and sprouted, I helped the biggest one with its final production and all of them general the different techniques, although curious results for a beginner, the techniques were not done well, they were cut halfway or only the leaves and not the apex itself ahahahaha, it turned out but very good in the end I would say

Not much growin on this week just watering and letting them grow. No smell yet Increasing light to 80% Nutrients in previous week and next week

they are all growing great and starting to get taller. a very robust plant and very easy to grow and maintain. they are getiing 1/2 the recommeneded dose of nutrients 3 times a week

Day 57 - Another week ended and another starting. She’s really filling in nicely now and I’ve gotta think the new nutrients have something to do with it. She’s starting to get kinda frosty now too. Probably won’t be needing any water until early next week but I’ll keep an eye on her. Day 58 - All is looking good still, will DEFINITELY need some water tomorrow. She’s actually starting to fill in nicely and starting to get a little frost to her. Day 59 - She’s doing really well but was definitely thirsty today. Had to give her almost 2 full gallons of water and also added the Advanced Nutrients to the water. I reached out to them to verify how often I should feed and they said every watering but make sure to have a 10-20% runoff each watering to avoid build up so we’ll see how it goes. So far this was her third feeding and hasn’t seemed to bother her and really likes it. Day 60 - Did a pretty decent defoliation tonight because I want the lower stuff to get more light. She’s a pretty bushy girl throughout so want her as open as possible without stunting her during the last few weeks. Day 61 - Since a couple of my young plants got destroyed by my cats and have a little more room in the tent, I went ahead and lowered my lights to about 12” above the canopy to try and get some mire intense light going. If I start seeing some ill effects, I’ll gradually raise them a bit. Other than that, she’ll probably get her next drink this weekend sometime. Day 62 - She’s looking great and starting to frost up nicely. She dried up a lot quicker than I was expecting so ended up giving her almost 2 full gallons of water tonight. The lights being at 12” seem to be just right.

She showed minor discoloration so I added very very little nute from GHE line of course AFTER checking and adjusting ph level first :)

We found some hermies on the Purple Purple. The breeder said that they’ve only found one stable pheno that didn’t hermie. They are considering doing feminized seeds but haven’t moved forward yet. I cut all the branches off that had hermies (about 1/4 of the plant). I dried it in the myherbsnow and pulled 75g of citrus 🍊 with a great energetic, not racey, euphoric head buzz. I have 3-4 side branches of one of the White Criticals that appear to have been pollinated. I put a white twist tie on all the suspect branches so I can keep them from going in my stash.

Week 7 and both ladies are fully covered with trichomes and still very vital. If Gelato #2 continues to develop so well, I guess another 2.5 weeks to go.

In my growing experience I always had bigger harvests with mostly indica hybrids than with sativa ones and I think this is mostly common, I was much curious about this strain in the auto flowering version, since the DNA genetics photoperiod seeds are still not re-assorted, Fastbuds did a good job, the smoking is fruity and woody with strong high, even if I prefer the taste and the indica high of their other Strawberry, the Pie, thanks Fastbuds and thanks to all who growers who looked at the growing 🙏🏻💚 it’s toking time now 🔥
