Day 70 - She grew 5cm / 2" this week! The amount of trichomes she has on her is frankly ridiculous 😍 totally white over. The smell upon touching them is intense Grapefruit 😍 PhenoFinders have done a great job breeding this. I'd like to try more of their range.

Day 79 11/28/2021- Welcome to week four of flower. Today fed nutrients and did a defoliation to take off the smaller buds that won’t get enough light. Day 81 11/30/2021- Just water her today. Day 82 12/01/2021- Trying something new. Day 83 12/02/2021- Water day for them. Also camera needed update but made it work. IOS/ANDRIOD PAR METER APP. This week I inoculated the room leaves and plants with Neoseiulus cucumeris, I have had minor thrip problems all summer, Usually I use lady bugs to combat them but none have been available this year. I inoculated the plants by shaking the bottle full of Cucumeris and bran over the leaves. I will do this a few times before pre flowers show. Cucmeris are predatory mites that eat the thrip larvae. And are supposed to work for spider mites as well. I added the scrog nets to the room and began training the plants through them. I then flipped the lights over to 12 and Initiated pre flower. All vegetative growth was very vigorous. The goal of this grow is to do a preliminary test to begin to determine if Mycelium provides any additional benefits to Cannabis when allowed to colonize in super soil before being added to bottom layer of the pot. The Process: 1) 8 weeks Prior to Germination Super Soil is mixed (see super Sub cools super soil recipe further down the page) and added to spinning two part composter, water is added and the super soil mix is allowed to break down for a week. 2) 7 weeks Prior To germination 1L of colonized mycelium is added to each side of composter. Mycelium is now allowed to colonize the super soil. 3) After 8 weeks total the Mycelium has had enough time to colonize throughout the super soil mix and is ready to be added to the bottom 1/3rd of the pots. Hey now, hope everyone is having a great weekend! The Strawberry Banana Auto from Fastbuds is starting to smell very good and starting to stack up nicely. She is only 26 inches tall but I feel like her colas are going to be quite thick. I did a light defoliation this morning and took off all the LST tie downs. She is looking super healthy and loving this Medic Grow Spectrum X. I currently have the Spectrum X running at 100% power and also integrating the UV/IR bars for 75 minutes just prior to lights off. I am super happy with this light so far, she puts out impressive PAR, and runs fairly cool. The only thing I would change is to add a timer just for the UV/IR bars, and allow the main light to be run on a timer. I will probably do one last light defoliation in the next couple of days and that will be about it other than keeping the reservoir full and in the correct PH range. The tomatoes outside are absolutely loving the runoff from these autos, as that is all they have had to drink since they were about 3 weeks old. The time is coming. Leaves are yellowing and falling down, buds stopped to grow and 50-60% of pistils became orange/brown. I already did few flushing watering. :)

18/10 - Cumple 6 semanas en etapa de floracion. Su evolución fue muy rapida y los cocos se encuentran muy bien desarrollados. El banco recomienda dejarla en floracion de 8 a 9 semanas. Se encuentra muy resinosa con mucho olor. La parte principal parece un arbol. No tuve ningun problema en toda su etapa. Los nutrientes los tomo de forma perfecta, las chalas se encuentran verdes y perfectas. Solo en la parte baja estan un poco amarillas pero es normal por que la luz no llega. Removed a few leaves from 1st and 2nd lady which where covering some branches. 36: Some brown things in the flower. Is that normal? 1st lady is just growing in the lachuza pon granulate. it has ph 7.1 and i just watering her with pur water. maybe it will work but her developing seems to be behind 2nd lady. 37: Feeded 2nd lady with 1.5l water PH 5.8 and 2ml/l BioGrow and 2ml/l BioBloom, That cocktail had ec of 414ppm. the water had around ec of 180 ppm. I will try to optimize the mix of purified water and tap water. What should the proportion be between cal/mag? The tap water has a proportion of 7:1. 40: Feeded 2nd lady with 1.0l water PH 5.9 and 2ml/l BioGrow, 1 ml TopMax and 3ml/l BioBloom, That cocktail had ec of 580ppm. the water had around ec of 200 ppm. A few lower leaves look a very little bit turning into light green. At all she looks very healthy in my opinion. And they are really stinky 😂 The side branches grow fine. I counted 10 of them 😍 They reach nearly 30 cm. Main branch is over 40 cm I think. Need to buy a measurement think 😇 I think LST is good for dwarfs but I have to work on the technique a little bit in the future. 41: I can measure height now. 1st lady is only 28cm. 2nd lady is 38cm and side branches 28cm. 42: Same cocktail as week 40. 1.25 l

She is still feeding on silica, cal mag, and maxi grow veg nutes by GHE. She seem to be loving this Medic Grow Spectrum X, which I am now running at 70% and also running the UV/IR bars for 1 hour before lights off. I also did a light defoliation this week to allow some airflow and her to focus more energy on the upper branches. I will continue to with LST and veg nutrients until the vertical growth stops, then I will transition her to flower nutrients, and change her lighting to the red spectrum. Only 1cm vertical growth this week but she pushed out quite a few side branches and leaves! Pretty much on autopilot right now.

Perfect to this point dense even colas. Smelling great covered in 💎 last week has been compost teas last one given today. Only water for the next 7-10 and nothing after that till harvest besides 36hr of darkness Home stretch time

Week 9 is here and we are looking at harvesting! After checking the trichomes of just the top colas, I decided this week I was going to harvest. I am updating this post after I have dried and harvested the plant so do not have much more details. I flushed the plant this week with Flora Kleen along with terpinator and microbes. I cut down the plants and hung them up in the tent to dry using a clothes hanger with clips I got off of Amazon. It took 10 days to dry the bud and my temps and humidity would fluctuate throughout the day and night. I stayed in the mid to low 70s for temperature and humidity was at 50% at first. Then I added a humidifier and had it dry in 60% humidity. Will update the rest in the harvest update.

So far all is well. Left plant is looking great still. Right plant is still the same as it was, kinda "off." I cut the top off the main cola due to light burn. There's just no way that the plants energy it was directing to it was being used well. I'd rather it go to the rest of the plant because there's just no way that initial top was going to produce anything. It was gnarled. I've also noticed something odd going on with a couple of the buds on the stressed (purple) plant. I posted one of the pics in the pics for this weeks update. Looks kinda like bud rot to me but this is also my first grow so I could be wrong. It looks like it's only affecting the pistils. I may ask a question in the question forum just to be sure. It's odd though because conditions in the tent seem to be too dry maybe for bud rot (averaging in the 50-60% RH range and there is plenty of air circulation in that part of the tent. I'm thinking it could either be the plant negatively reacting to me cutting the main top off the other day or it's just the fact that due to the plant being stressed out for the entire grow that it's lost resistance to things like bud rot, etc.. essentially, I'm not sure at all lol.. Both plants are already showing a good amount of trichome production as the plants have almost switched from stretch flowering phase to pure on flowering/bulking phase. I can't wait to see the buds really start to mature and grow and get stinky. Carbon filter so far is working flawlessly. A week ago I was thinking it wasn't keeping up because when I'd come home from work I could smell pot but it turns out it was just my cannabutter supplies that I left out lol. D'oh. I've also been monitoring conditions in my basement over the past few weeks and have noticed that rain or no rain, the conditions down there are an average 66 degrees and 60-64% RH. With my dehumidifier if the conditions down there remain in that range, I should be able to achieve perfectly optimal drying conditions for when I harvest in 4-6 weeks or so. :) I am having a blast so far and can't wait to harvest and then really apply what I've learned online from youtube, here and reddit combined with my hands on experience from this grow to really fill out the canopy next time and also ensure both plants are the same height for some great yield. I'll probably mainline 2-3 plants for my next grow. I also want to eventually get into building my own soil and amendments but for now I'm just focusing on not learning & applying too many things at once. I just know that at some time I'd like to switch from synthetic nutrients to organic. I'm hooked for life to growing though!

Perfect strain, sweet aromas mixed with needles, really low plants, average yield, sweet aroma, pungent mango smell. I can recommend this variety to newbies - simple to grow, fast growing time. next time i want to use bigger pot. The 7L was too small to see the real power of Runtz XXL 😘 🔥😘 🔥
