Grow Diary: Durban Poison (Week 7 – Early Veg The Overview It has been a busy 7 days for the Durban Poison. As we move deeper into the veg stage, this Sativa heritage is really starting to show its personality. Daily Breakdown Day | Observations & Actions | Day 29 | DP1's first top, i noticed a significant vertical jump. Tucked the tallest fan leaves to ensure light reaches the lower bud sites. Day 30 Feeding Day. Stayed with a light veg nutrient profile. Day 31 | Light LST training. Used some sheethed solid wire to help hold out and dowm. Day 32 | The "stretch" continues. Adjusted the LED panel up. Day 33 | The plant is looking exceptionally healthy with a vibrant, lime-green hue. Day 34 | Plain pH-balanced water (6.3 pH}) to prevent salt buildup from the previous nutrient feed. | Day 35 | Checking runoff. pH levels are stable. The canopy is level and the stacking of the nodes looks tight and promising. Key Metrics Temperature: 24°C (Day) / 19°C (Night) Humidity (RH): 45% – 50% Light Cycle: 18/6 Height Gain: 30 mm this week Grower’s Notes The Durban is definitely a thirsty girl right now. I’m noticing she drinks her pot dry about 24 hours faster than the other DPC girls. I’ll need to keep a close eye on the soil moisture over the next week to avoid any drooping. No signs of pests or deficiencies—just pure, vigorous Sativa growth." Ladies are looking great smelling great the chocolope has put on some extra height and the bubblegum has put on some extra weight. The buds on the chocolope are spaced out pretty far hopefully the buds get bigger and fill in the space

Day 78. Girls are missing food a lot, but i always love to underfeed them, taste ten times better at the end. My QB just burned Mag out of leaves, those branches exposed to most intense light - suffer most. But its not my first rodeo with them, so i am totally calm. Funny, i got some Clover seeds pop out ... when i brought last predators, they were kept between seeds and now i have mini Nitrogen boost ;))) i know that its only couple plants in each pot, i know that soon i won't need N at all, but still funny aftermath. Everything else on cruise control since my air system update i have to water every 30 l pot with 4-5 liters every two days, usually it was four ... They bulk up and looks like it will be high quality bud, let's see ... ! Happy Growing !

welcome to Week 15 of our Lego Ninja Tropical Tangie Run. This week was a bit of a rollercoaster as we faced some high temperatures. Our resilient Tangie made it through, though her leaves took on an interesting appearance. But don't fret; the buds remain unaffected and continue to dazzle. She's as frosty as ever, a true beauty to behold. For the sake of our full-time lapse project, I've decided to let things ride as they are. We've captured it all, from the ups to the downs, showing the unfiltered journey of this incredible plant. In the garden, my Tangie's pH levels are at a steady 6.2, and her TDS hovers around 490. The water temperature stays at a comfortable 20°C. Sharing a bit of moon magic, I've included some photos of the recent full moon. It was an enchanting and blessed sight to behold. As always, my medicine is shared not only with my Tangie but also with my faithful guardians, the Lego Ninjas. They've been by my side throughout, offering their silent wisdom and unwavering support. I've also been experimenting with my cameras, exploring different perspectives and colors to capture the essence of this journey. It's incredible how small adjustments can reveal the hidden beauty of our botanical companion. Dat 37 fixed temperature and humidity issue and i noticed inmediatly a good reaction to the plant that didn’t show anymore suference during night and it absorbe all The nutrients. Big flowering phase is starting, this week i notice some stretching and i think is really starting now. Let’s see what happen Day 38 low temperature was the problem, now the plants can produce all réaction she needs. Day 42 blue is going really healthy, si smaller than thé orange and nutrients schedule is going well. I ll just rénové top max next week caus i started big bud. So curious about next weeks. Let’s go!

Day 85 Day 35 Flower 26/07/24 Friday Big feed again today, using de-chlorinated tap water pH 6. 😁 I noticed slight nute burn on leaf tips so I have dialled back all base nutrients by 1ml. Day 86 Day 36 Flower 27/07/24 Saturday De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 only today full 5L a little run off. Did it outside in the sunshine again today 🌞📸💚 Updates 📸 Day 87 Day 37 Flower 28/07/24 Sunday Feed again today, De-chlorinated tap water pH 6. She took the full 5L with about 10% run off. She really is stacking now 💪 Day 88 Day 38 Flower 29/07/24 Monday Just de-chlorinated tap water pH 6 today. Noticing pistils starting to mature. Video update Day 89 Day 39 Flower 30/07/24 Tuesday Nice feed again today, de-chlorinated tap water pH 6. Really throwing out trichomes now, density is getting better as well. Day 90 Day 40 Flower 31/07/24 Wednesday De-chlorinated tap water pH 6 only today. Full 5L again she's taking this daily now ,😅💚 Day 91 Day 41 flower 01/08/24 Thursday End of week Feed today using de-chlorinated tap water pH 6 added nutes brought it up to 6.2. She just keeps stacking, think I got a fast flower... Or the heat is a little high and just prolonging her process. May start flushing next week we will see.

This was a busy week for the girls, they got trimmed up and bent around to maximize their space and growing potential. Thinking we will be vegging for a while with this one. Going to try and get a monster plant with these girls. When you touch them they leave a gas smell on the fingers already 🤯💀 The twisted sister has made a full recovery and I think that she will have super deep purple coloring because some of the leaves have like a purple hue to them. Day51: flowers are getting bigger, leaves tips are still under control. The environment is getting hotter and hotter due to the heatwave but the plants are holding on. Day55: i was not home for 3 days but the plants were fine, just thirsty, hot and with some gnats due to being closed for so long.

Day 64, 12.06.2024 Today marks the start of week 10. I just saw that some of the leafs of Erika I are clawing upwards. I double checked the light distance to the canope which seems to be fine at around 30cm. I watered yesterday. As over watering might be the culprit as well I will watch closely wether it gets better during the next 24h. However, as we are approaching the finishing line I will not put too much effort in this issue. Day 65, 13.06.2024 Another round of drinks is about to be served. As Erika I is tacoing (edges of the leafs are facing towards the light) I went into analysis: It could be a) lights: after checking the distance again I an rule that out. Also the other plant does not show any clawing symptoms. b) underwatering: I gave 500ml extra water yesterday in the morning in hopes of recovery by afternoon. But no sign of relaxation so I ruled out that as well. c) overwatering: hard to believe as I only water 15% of the pot volume every other day and there is no drain d) over fertilization: Thats a point - I gave both plants the exact same amount of nutrition during grow. I think this plant might have had enough for a while. Because of d) I decided to not give Erika I any fertilizers today (she also did not show signs of low nutrition in the past). However, I will water both and keep an eye on them. No reason for panic though I guess. Also: Being on the final lap towards harvest I recognized quite a lot of the pistils are getting orange. I would say currently over all buds around 50-60% of the pistils are orange. I will wait until ~90% of them are orange and then take a look at the trichomes, where I aim for 80/20 ratio (cloudy to amber). Day 66, 14.06.2024 No action today. Day 67, 15.06.2024 Today I will water and feed again - providing 4/4/4 Grow/Bloom/TopMax + 1,2ml CalMag to Erika II. For Erika I I am still waiting for the leafs to un-taco - but until now there is no sign of it. This is the last official week with nutrients anyway so maybe Erika I already had her last meal, but without realizing 😂 Tacoing did not went away. Didn't really change at all actually. So they both get water & nutes. Next time I might skip nutes on Erika I. Amount of water: ~600ml each Day 68, 16.06.2024 No action on the plants today. Revised my timing and plans: - BioBizz nutrient schedule is made for roughly 10 weeks of flowering with flushing instructions on the second to last week and harvest on the last week - assuming the Erikas started flowering in their 3rd week that leaves me with facing the 8th flowering week up (which is also the last week they should get nutrition) right ahead - Decision: will give them 3 times nutrients over the next 1 week. Then I will stop giving them nutrients and start flushing every other day (water then until water comes out below the pots). - I assume/hope I will flush for at least one week until it is time for harvest This period of the grow is unexpectedly exciting! I do not have any experience from other grows but until now I think it went quite good. There were no pests, no big time nutrient deficiencies, etc. and the buds look big and firm (at least from what I can tell anyway). Day 69, 17.06.2024 - A round of drinks to the ladies: The usual 4/4/4 Grow/Bloom/TopMax in 600ml of water each. Will NOT skip nutes on Erika I. - Humidity is starting to pose a problem again: During night time the humidity does not go below 68% for 6 hours. I surely hope this is not a problem - but I do not have any other choice: there is high humidity currently outside (lots of rain & warm weather). I will hope for the best I guess. - removed 3 more leafs Day 70, 18.06.2024 No action today but to experience high humidity (~69%) without being able to do something about that 😢 This concludes week 10. The breeder states this strain is ready for harvest after 11 weeks. Well.. I guess I am about to find out.

The temperatures, humidity, and watering volume(if measured) in grow conditions are all averaged for the week. The pH is soil pH. Any watering done by me is well water which is 7.6 pH and 50° F. Any listed nutrients are ml/gallon of soil top dressed. Day 1 we had high temperature of 85 and sunny skies. I watered 3-5 gallons from the hose. I added 45 ml coop poop and 50 ml plant tone. I spread the dry fertilizer evenly across the top of the soil. Day 2 we had high temperature of 87°F with partly cloudy to cloudy skies. I watered 3-4 gallons from the hose. I added 100 ml of blood meal spread evenly across the top of the soil. Day 3 We had a high temperature of 85°F. It rained the previous night and intermittently raining and thunderstorms today. The rain is watering today. Day 4 we had a high temperature of 73°F and all day rain. The rain was what remained of hurricane Beryl. There was a lot of wind up to 20 miles per hour. These girls handled it and loved the rain. Day 5 we had clear sunny skies and a high temperature of 85°F. I fed 150 ml feather meal and 45 ml Coop Poop. I watered 3-5 gallons from the water hose. Day 6 we had a high temperature of 86°F and partly cloudy skies. Plants #1, that developed powdery mildew on its lower leaves, began treatment with Arber organic biofungicide. I'll continue that for 5 days. I ran the fertilizer a little hot the girls are clawing and super dark green this evening Day 7 we had a high temperature of 85 with partly cloudy skies. This week was a success. We got a touch of powdery mildew on the #1 plant. It's on the bottom leaves. I'll continue to treat that with Arber. Both of these girls began flower the last couple of days this week. About 9 weeks from now we should have some big old beautiful buds.
