I'm still working out how much water to give, and I've probably under watered. The heat wave has driven the temps up, but these plants are still growing. Started flowering around day 23. Tied them down to try to get more light to the lower flower sites. Still haven't decided what to feed during flower, other than Big Bud. Any recommendations are welcome!

Day 42-49 (Day 42) Just watered today but couldn’t go until runoff because I didn’t have enough RO. I forgot to add the probiotic too. Nonetheless, everything is starting to recover from those weird deficiencies and is looking super healthy. Plants are really bushing out now too. I had to top the zkittlez and BBB#3 again as they are just getting too big. Nothing is definitively showing sex yet but I’m seeing clues. Shouldn’t be long now. If I get 4 females or less I will use 10gal pots, 5-7 fem 5gal pots and 8-12 3gal pots. I need to stop overwatering. Even though it doesn’t look too overwatered, it is much better to water a little bit each day at lights on. This will help keep the humidity down as well as deliver optimal oxygen to the roots speeding up plant growth considerably. (Day 45) Gave an EM1 spray down today. The beneficial bacteria is said to overpopulate surfaces so powdery mildew and septoria can’t form. Something seems to be really working as I haven’t seen any yet. (Day 47) I sealed up the tent and am running both dehumidifiers and it’s keeping the RH around a safe 70% night and day which is right on track with VPD. Plants are all looking super healthy. Deficiencies have pretty much all cleared up. Cold nights I’m running 600w and warmer nights I’ll run 400w. I was asking around Instagram about white ash/good burn and a few different people assured me it has to do with mineral content of the soil. I was told the three best products for clean ash is glacial rock dust/basalt, oyster shell flour and langbeinite. I already have langbeinite so I’ll grab the other amendments today and top dress. I grabbed the amendments and also got some Destiny Organics dark matter super soil, coco and some beneficial nematodes. Top dressed each amendment except langbeinite and mulched in some coco coir. (Day 48) My shelf came in today and I think it may be to big for the 4x4 tent. Each square is 12”, not the 11.8” advertised. I could wipe down my flower room and set it up in there which would give my plants a good adjustment to the new lights before I flip. Or I could set it up in the veg tent but that seems like a huge hassle as the need to be moved and flipped soon anyway. I wish they would show sex already so I can toss out the plants I’m not keeping. For flower I am considering starting over fresh with the new Destiny soil and coco mixed with some amendments. I’m concerned that my current mix might be too hot. I could also dilute it with the Destiny/coco mix. Those little bulb mites that came in with the worm castings are a little concerning as well. Some say they are just beneficial composters aka “worm bin mites” and others are telling me they’re predatory bulb mites which destroy crops like garlic. I’m leaning towards beneficial composters but in another grow I watched them devour a seedling before it sprouted. Gotta check the current roots but the plants aren’t quite ready to be transplanted. (Day 49) Got everything in the flower tent wiped down and sprayed with alcohol then EM1 few hours later. Got the shelf set up and got all my temp controls set up and running. I put the controllers outside the tent this time and will patch any light leaks. Gave a lite compost tea at 830ppm and a velokelp foliar spray at 6ml/L. This will be the last veg feeding before I transplant into their final containers on the 31st. BCTG#2 is a confirmed male and I pulled him. No one else is showing definitively. Roots looked super healthy with very few mites but I’m not 100% convinced they’re all clean. I saw a few mites on leaves today too. Saw a bit of droop after the move but they all look happy just a few hours later. Took a few clones from some sucker branches on a few of the blackberries.

This means that whatever the temperature is, the air feels like it, not 10-15 degrees hotter. My Auto Candy is a tall lady and has good node spacing so there is space for air flow. When I went outside this afternoon, the sun was hitting the main stalk, and she was shimmering. Looking at the bud structure, the leaves are more spread out than the other outside gals with minimal sugar leaves. So far, she is easy to grow and resistant to fungus and pests. Garage grow SoCal Another hot week in the garage averaging high of 88°. We just put in AC dehumidifier and we brought down the temp to 70 Degrees and 48% relative humidity with lights on for ripening. The girls are starting to finish the ripening stage and ready to cut the tops. Smell is unbelievable sweet and dank. As we’re at the final few days we’re running straight Jacks RO. This weeks accomplishments: AC for ripening Eradicated the Spider mites by doing manual scouting and removal every day. Long term issues None. We’re just about done. Aug 22: Getting really close to harvest now. No amber trichomes yet though. Once I see the first amber trichomes appear, I'll give them a week or two.

Very easy strain to grow. I grew the White Critical Express previous to this grow, I really liked it and wanted to try growing an Autoflower so I went for the Critical 2.0 and it was worth the grow.

One of the last days of 2x 16 colas and 2x 4 colas mainlining 4 month growing. Jamaican Dream and Green crack potted together and the experiment was successful. Three Blue kings was stressed in vegetative period by iron excess and overwatering. This is the reason that lower buds did not developed better. Amherst Sour diesel have one of the biggest buds I have ever seen. Jamaican Dream should be developed smaller, like Green Crack, but 100% sativa genetics showed it's greatness. Green Crack was growing like Jamaican Dream in vegetative period, but in flowering period its growing was slowly and now it has become very thick and full of buds. My growing box is very cheap but I tried maximum of my budget. 600w HPS is one of the greatest lamp for indoor growing. At flowering stage I have increased 600w to Super Lumens on my digital ballast for maximum yield. Main mistake is that I have used very cheap and primitive pots and soil was not enough good too. In these days I'll cut diesel and kings tops, because they are almost ready and lower buds need 7-12 more days to be ready for harvest.

We have a few plants lined up to flower the day these come down (White Widow likely) ..every Banger clone taken in week 2-3 of flower are growing and of good size now, we'd like to put a few outside this summer ... Week 2 of the flowering phase flew by 🌱💨. Unfortunately, I may have overdone it with potassium or kept the water level too high – the classic signs of clawing leaves were evident. Thankfully, they seem to be recovering now and are back under control 💪🍃. My IR night experiment is showing clear results 🌌: The plants exposed to infrared radiation at night stretched significantly more. This might be especially beneficial for this indica-dominant strain as it leads to better canopy distribution, improved airflow, and reduced risks of mold and disease. Plus, the light distribution is much more efficient now, which I’m excited to see pay off. On the downside, my Orange Sherbert turned hermaphroditic 😔. It’s hard to pinpoint the cause – overfertilization seems unlikely since I’m using only organic nutrients. I suspect it might be linked to an E-field experiment I’ve been running. To confirm this theory, I’ll conduct a new grow with a similar strain next year to see if the electric field negatively impacts cannabis development. Stay tuned for updates! Leider habe ich wohl etwas zu viel Kalium gegeben oder den Wasserstand zu hoch gehalten – die typischen Anzeichen von Adlerkrallen waren sichtbar. Zum Glück scheinen sich diese jetzt zurückzubilden und sind wieder unter Kontrolle 💪🍃. Mein IR-Nachtexperiment zeigt bereits deutliche Ergebnisse 🌌: Die Pflanzen, die nachts mit Infrarotstrahlung bestrahlt wurden, haben deutlich stärker gestretcht. Das ist besonders bei dieser indica-dominanten Sorte wahrscheinlich von Vorteil, da es zu einer besseren Verteilung des Blätterdachs führt. Dadurch verbessert sich die Luftzirkulation, das Risiko von Schimmel und Krankheiten wird minimiert, und die Lichtverteilung wird effizienter. Ich bin gespannt, wie sich das weiter auswirkt! Leider hat meine Orange Sherbert gezwittert 😔. Woran das genau liegt, kann ich schwer sagen. Eine Überdüngung halte ich für unwahrscheinlich, da ich nur biologischen Dünger verwendet habe. Ich vermute, dass mein E-Feld-Experiment eine Rolle spielt. Um das zu bestätigen, werde ich nächstes Jahr einen neuen Durchlauf mit einer ähnlichen Sorte machen und prüfen, ob das elektrische Feld tatsächlich eine ungünstige Rückentwicklung der Pflanze verursacht. Flowering Week 26: Storm Battles & Resilience Update: 10.09.2025 | Day 187 Hey Growmies, Week 26 decided to throw some serious weather at us – rain almost every day mixed with strong winds. It was enough to blow my African lady right off her socks! Durban Poison took a full tumble under the weight of those wet, dense buds. Lesson learned: never underestimate a sativa in a storm. I reinforced the whole support setup – added more stakes and wired everything firmly to the fence in the back. Blueberry, on the other hand, stood strong like the queen she is – not even a lean. Strain Check · Durban Poison: Took that fall like an absolute champion. Didn’t skip a beat – just kept bulking up like nothing happened. The smell is now coming in strong, and the colors are getting wilder every day. Respect. · Blueberry: Her buds are swelling nicely and the colors keep intensifying. She handled the monsoon rains and wind like it was a gentle breeze. Starting to give off a faint smell – still subtle, but it’s there.
