Been doing a lot of tweaking with the new gear and multiple sets of plants. Been quite a busy week and probably behind a bit on keeping track of everything. I'm currently working on trying to get better charts made to keep track of things like light schedules, detailed feedings, height change per day, etc. My current setup is my oldest 1st set of plants (5plants) and my 3rd set (6 seedlings), in my new 4x4 Vivosun grow tent equipped with a Spider Farmer SF-1000. I have kept my 2nd set of plants (4plants) in my original 4x2 Vivosun equipped with 600W Vivosun LED. These plants had been extremely stressed due to not having soil or containers available with shipping constraints. They've been doing a lot better since then and I'm hoping they make a full recovery. Fingers crossed! Running 24hr light schedule. Both tents equipped with temp/hygro high and low ranging from about 71-81°F with an average of about 78°F. Watering by plant pot weight, according to GH FloraTrio + CalMag Schedule. Mild LST via tucking of leaves blocking developing sites. Sorry for being so hectic the past week or so if anyone has been keeping up with this 😂 For the time being, I'm currently running all three sets of my plants in my 4x4 tent. It's running all three of my fans, both lights and has the carbon filter system and humidifier hooked up to it as well. I basically have the other 4x2 just sitting as a shell for the moment. Either planning to save it for climate control when curing the first harvest or sell it to invest in another Spider Farmer SF-1000 LED or equivalent and possibly another 4x4 tent. I have started a grow chart that's still a little sketchy but if nothing else having it here hells me keep up with it that much better. [April 30th @ 3:30pm] Plant 1- (12.25in.) 2- (10.5in.) 3- (25.75in.) 4- (16.75in.) 5- (12in.) ______________________________________ The most current batch of nutrient mixes for was made this morning about (2am 4/29/20) for the 1st and second set of plants. The first set of plant's nutrients was made to 4gal of water. The mix is a ratio of (Cal-Mag/GHMicro/GHGro/GHBloom) It's mixed (for the 4gal) in order; 10mL, 5mL, 10mL, 10mL. 440ppm @ 98.5°F 890EC @ 2.2°F us/cm This new nutrient mix was applied for the first time tonight and will run about a week. I'm running a bit behind according to the GH schedule I was following due to stunting the growth I felt like over a couple issues to where I have them an extra week of veg nutrients. As I have defoliated them and they have seemed to take it pretty well, I'm hoping the increase in bloom nutrients will kick the buds into overdrive for production and the plants will start to thicken up again. The second mix follows the same order as the first set in regards to nutrient usage. This mix is only mixed to one gallon. It as follows; 2.5mL, 2.5mL, 1.25mL, 2.5mL. 500ppm @ 98.6°F 992EC @ 0.4°F us/cm This is mostly following the same GH nutrient schedule as the first set only about 2 weeks behind. These plants suffered from being in too small of containers for too long and I believe this stunted their growth. I've had them in suitable new containers for a couple days now and hoping this new mix of increased nutrients will bring them back to life a bit and get them back in schedule. I'm honestly not too sure still about the ppm and EC numbers but a few bud-dies have mentioned that it plays important roles in plant health. So until I can better research good numbers and how to control it for my set up, I'm at the very least trying to keep track of the data. I apologise about this large chunk of text! As we approach the grand finale, I've decided to halt all nutrient supplements. Why, you ask? Well, it's like preparing for a fancy dinner party. Just like we ease up on appetizers before the main course, withholding additional nutrients allows the plant to focus its energy on ripening those gorgeous buds to perfection. It's like providing a VIP treatment, pampering the flowers as they reach their peak potency. Speaking of peak, I must admit, I've become quite the trichome enthusiast. Every day, I examine those tiny resinous structures, observing their development with a level of dedication that might make my Medusa think I'm an extraterrestrial trichome investigator. same as last week nothing to special just growing healthy on her bat poo feed coming up nicely I think other people might see differently but that's small grow space C4Matic and friends .

At day 44 plants were watered with about 3 liter of fresh water w/o any nutrients. I measured TDS of the drainage, it was kinda high, about 1600 ppm. But plants in general seem to be in a good condition. I had to remove some leaves to improve air flow and give more light to lower buds. I think in a couple of days I'll add some nutrients for watering, so I'll update this week description. Only B.A.C. foliar spray was used by the end of the day. Both plants show that coloured genetics and look amazing.

wow look at dat!! dat plant is now in flower!!! dis was very very stress week for me!!! da plant had very very big leaves!! i asked husband what to do!!! he said woman dis is your grow!!! you do what ever you want!!! you can leave dem, tuck dem or do a defoliation dis is all up to you!!! i decided to do da defoliation option!!! i took scissors to da plant and cut off all da big leaves, bottom leaves and sprouts!!! it was very very scary!! da plant looked very very sad after dat!!! i told husband i think da plant is going to die!!!! he smiled at me and said woman da plant wont die it will recover dont you worry!!! dis is a learning experience for you on how da plants react to such stresses!!! dat made me fell so much better!!!! da week feeding has been butt chugging with one top watering!!! da butt chugging is every second day!!!!!

📆 Semana 5 ¡Seguimos avanzando a buen ritmo! Esta semana la Gorilla Cookies ha pegado un estirón final y ha empezado a centrarse en formar bien los cogollos. Se nota que está en plena producción de resina: los tricomas empiezan a cubrir hojas y flores, dándole ya ese brillo tan característico que promete mucho. He ajustado ligeramente el riego para adaptarlo a su demanda actual, y he seguido con la nutrición de floración, manteniendo los niveles de PK para potenciar la formación de cogollos sin forzar. También he estado muy pendiente del ambiente: temperaturas entre 22-26°C y humedad controlada alrededor del 45-50% para evitar riesgos de hongos. A nivel visual, las flores están empezando a compactarse y soltar esos primeros aromas dulces y terrosos tan típicos de la Gorilla Cookies. Todavía no he visto ámbar en los tricomas, así que seguimos en fase de engorde. Estoy muy contento con cómo va, ¡esta genética tiene pintaza! ¡Seguimos creciendo fuerte! 💪

Update week 3 veg

This girl!!! 😂 😍 😍 Look at the bush!! 😂 I may have to hack off a few leaves this coming week, the amount of flower sites that are shaded by leaves is huge. She is VERY bushy. A lot of flower sites and a lot of leaf sites. Maybe it's a kush thing... Either way, she is looking good.

Mar 14 Looking okay. Flowering started this week! Some leaves are looking like they are being sacrificed by the plant. The top leaves being so thin makes me wonder if the lights are too intense. I've lowered them from 80% to about 60%. Fed 3/4 gallon of RAW GROW 6 days ago. Seems to have taken it well. Getting close to needing another drink.

Well, this was a interesting first journey.... the buds finished drying today, 5 days drying, added pics and vids. Just curing to go.... ah nice buds :) Edit: i forgot to mention i went over the buds when i harvested them, and checked / removed any impurities, like gnats caught in the sticky bud.... picked em clean with tweezers... 👍 Edit: needed to air/dry out the buds abit more, and get some Boveda Humidipak for curing.... it's looking good... i'll update with some pics of trimmed, cured buds 😎 The buds turned out beautiful, pungent, pine, berry, citrusy, daytime, medical..... this has theoretical 1:1 - 21% THC, 19% CBD, so it's not going to give u a knockout high.... its medical grade 1:1 ....... side effects - happy, relaxed. haha :) I weighed it dry and came up with about 123.32g (4.35oz) ... i used abit of guesswork in the weight, not to concerned with weight, as to quality.... (that weight is with the test buds added in, +-15g.) .... you can guess the weight from the pics and vids, haha I really enjoyed growing this.... i found the website by looking up the seeds, decided to start a grow diary, it's my first grow, i made alot of mistakes and growdiaries really helped alot, joined a chat group with some other really good growers. Edit - Day 111 - added vid/pic, Been curing for a week, burp and roll em abit twice a day....... smell and taste nicer each day, 👍 Edit - Day 112 - added good vid of trimmed up test bud, beautiful ...... So looking like it's getting very close to harvest going by breeders advice and others i've sen with this variety. Mostly orange hairs nw only a few whites and they're starting to receed into the buds so i wanna flush well for a week or so and see how it go's

~ DUTCH PASSION / SUPER SATIVA SEED CLUB FAST FLOWER 'TESTER' A and 'TESTER' B ~ Well cannafam, here we go again on another growing adventure together! This diary will be special to me for two reasons, one because I have the opportunity to cultivate some new and exciting strains from two of the TOP breeders in the industry! The second reason this will be special to me is that I will be growing these two strains in a brand new greenhouse that I put up! I'm super stoked to see how these two ladies turn out in this new setup. On to the strains: 'Tester' Strain A info: Hybrid (I/S) | 6-7 weeks flowering | Fruity, Sweet, Candy 'Tester' Strain B info: Indica-Dominant (90%) | 7 weeks flowering | Fruity, Peppery, Sweet I hope that you enjoy this run as much as I will... It's going to be fun and interesting for sure! ~GROW WHAT YOU LOVE, LOVE WHAT YOU GROW!~ ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Setup: These beauties will be growing in a brand spanking new 10x14' greenhouse that I have equipped with automatic window openers, a complement of Hurricane fans and a de-humidifier/heater to help keep the environment as dialed in as possible. I started both tester in glasses of tap water, where they soaked for 24hrs. After soaking, they were placed directly into whole eggshells with just their tops removed to make a natural seed starting pot that I filled with a 70/30 blend of Coco/Perlite which was pre-moistened with well water ph'd to 6.2, then placed under a 50w full spectrum LED on a 24hr light schedule. Once, they both have their second set of leaves emerged, I plan on starting to put them in the greenhouse for 2-3 hour a day for a few days to help them acclimate and 'harden off' in the greenhouse. I'll be starting both off in 1qt pots, then transplanting them into to gradually larger pots until they're around 6 weeks old, then they will go into their final pots which are 25g fabric pots. I mix my initial medium using 3 tbsp/g of Gaia Green Organics 4-4-4 along with 1 tbsp/g of Gaia Green Organics Glacial Rock Dust for the trace minerals it provides, 1 tbsp/g of Down To Earth Kelp Meal, 1 tbsp/g of Trichoderma/Mycorrhizae, and 1 cup/g of Wiggle Worm Castings. I hand mix my amendments to ensure an even distribution throughout the medium. I'll be watering with well water ph'd to 6.2-6.8 and providing bi-weekly compost tea's throughout the run. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 5/16- Week Five is here and I couldn't be happier with how both of the Testers from Dutch Passion/SSSC are doing! Both are continuing to have excellent vigor and are 'praying' hard every day... VERY happy ladies! 5/18- Today, I watered both Testers with 1.5g of straight well water which was ph'd to 6.2 @ 70℉. I also removed some new shoots growing down low on both plants to help redirect energy towards the upper portions. 5/20- Yesterday and today were cool and rainy, so all I really did was to spend some quality time with the ladies, giving them both a good looking over to catch any issues well before they get out of hand. Both looked fantastic! 5/22- Yesterday, both Testers were watered with 2g of well water with 3 tbsp/g of Worm Tea concentrate, which was ph'd to 6.4 @ 72℉. I have also started to do some HST on both, twisting and bending branches to allow light to reach down into their canopies. Well fam, Week Six of veg is on the books for these two gorgeous girls from Dutch Passion/Super Sativa Seed Club and I am absolutely impressed with how well both are doing despite the rather warm temp's right now...
