18/07/2020- I've started some light defoliation on both plants to see if they can cope. Im removing lower and larger fan leaves to get more light onto the bud sites. They look super healthy and are getting very sticky. Same nute mix used as last week. 19/07/2020 - More defoliation today; plant seems to like it as flowers are continuing to grow and leaves are going silver. 21/07/2020 - Doubled the number of pk13/14 used in my nute mix to 20ml/10L and continuing to defoliate both plants. They seem to be responding very well. Still using this nute mix PH 6.2 a+b 40ml/10L Pk 13/14 20ml/10L PPM 1170 Temperature of solution ~20c Runoff ph 6.2 22/07/2020 Really struggling to prune the excess leaves on the plant without coming out feeling like I'm covered in glue. I guess there's worse problems to have... QO is going 23/07/2020 Had to travel away with work today; top cola has some minor light burn :( 24/07/2020 - Changed my ducting setup to improve airflow into the tent today and it's working well. I've also put some trellising above the plants so i can tie them up to prevent them from snapping or falling over. They're looking healthy.

Hello Growmies 👊💚 the plants look happy and that's the way it should be 😀 I've topped all the plants, now I'm giving them some time to recover. unfortunately there will be no mainlining this time, it will be topping and lollipoping i aim for 16-32 colas per plant. I'm really digging the Chem OG, squat plants with those trademark thick thick thick indica leaves, clearly it's gonna be a heavy smoke lol Wasnt able to get the juices flowing this week, hopefully next week i'll get the smart protein into feed. Started training some of these, did two more defoliations (total of three light defos so far) ... and then flipped them 4 days ago. the f-ing landlord has been attempting to enter the lab according to my security cameras lol, motherfucker !!!! anyway i have to pack up the lab, hopefully i'll be able to complete the grow cycle , but for sure i'll have to move the grow op ... that's my problem, sure but it also means that i'll have to wait in order to set up my perpetual cycle... and of course i cant really take cuttings if i'm moving the lab... why must people be so curious? really wish there would be at least a bit more tolerance around this hobby just so i can sleep peacefully at night... in the mean time , I lowered my lights to 22cm, i heard from someone (forgot who) that it's a good thing to get the lights closer when you flip so that the plant gets that extra energy for the stretch. This model was grown for ointment production. So waiting for amber trichomes was pointless. For ointment, it is good to have the THC as active as possible when the trichomes are fully milky, not overripe.. Before applying it to my skin, I made a small piece of hash. The ball weighed 2.2 grams and was pleasantly strong, citrusy, and had a hashish scent..

Stretching nicely! A bit long internode distance and small buds and slightly more stretch than the rest, but I bet the quality of the resin will make up for it!

This ladies look absolutely gorgeous and super strong, they're gonna be flipped into flower tomorrow on February 15th when they'll hit the 30th day since they were planted and the first day of flower! As said, I have flipped this ladies into flower on February 15th so now I think we're gonna see a beautiful stretch specially on this 2 plants which are the biggest one in the tent, very nice genetic, cannot wait to see their performance ❤️💛💚👨‍🌾 stay tuned everybody! they have had 4 days of extended darkness, i left the nutrient info there but i did flush for a week and a couple days extra (many experts say you only need to flush for a week but i like to do a week plus another 2-3 days just to make sure it's well flushed) if it doesn't display there is a video if you open the last picture and click the right side arrow button on it (next picture button) or i think you can click the little play button icon where it should display, they usually don't display properly for me on the page (also video upload is extremely slow i will add)

Missed couple weeks of updating. Apologies. K. Had to move the lady back under my homemade lights. The store bought just kept her trying to bunch up. Needed light through, didn't want to defoliate too much and she resisted opening up. She would actually straighten out the wire reaching for the SB. Sooo, I spread my homemade apart more. I put her back under my direct wire, switchable lights, 5 settings from 2700k-5000k, 6 t8 tubes, 1800 lumens each. Gave her a couple days. She opened right up for me. The SB light high intensity, she was bushy, even after opening up, so at week 3, under homemade, she got some defoliation. Learning more about light. I kept a minimal distance from top, center cola, to reduce it's stretch and allowed the trained limbs to catch up to it. Now @12" from center cola, about 16" from rest of plant and light covers the entire plant. Using 1000w for her babies (clones.) They like it. Using soil. And reading more. Prolly didn't need all the nutes I was giving. Doing well on 1nce weekly fish fertilizer and once weekly Gen Hydro Flora Series mixed for flower. The rest is ph'ed water. Ozarka got expensive. Tried GV spring water. Has near 300 ppm, Ozarka <30. GV pH near and sometimes 10+. Ozarka 8.3 max. GV needs more pH down and it will rise again. I pH let set, then pH again. Pretty sure it's mostly calcium, since it's source is heavy with limestone. Calcium also appears to be a buffer. Ozaka's 8.3 mostly from the calcium, but ph's easily and holds well. Mixing = parts can get a ppm of 160 and pH of 8.7-9. then pH down. Saves a little money and some extra calcium. K done for the week. Bye, y'all.
