The "Gelato" grows in a very particular way, an irregular bush with the right brunches in the right place, we have also patched the sides and placed something dirty in the regrown central.

The smell on this lady is absolutely insane. The only way I can describe it is a dank smelling cherry. Trimmed 2 ozs after drying got done and had the whole house smelling. Very impressed with the nose tone and taste of the Cherry Cola and its not even cured yet. Growing this plant has turned me on to the cherry terps and will continue to look for them.

Buds are looking pretty. Already nice frosting of trichomes and density for small size is surprising. Have been worried about my roots and have taken all need steps to try and fix it. So far Daphni shows no signs of stress or nutrient lose. Knock on wood. Will be playing Velvet Underground for her this week. Does it make sense to cut off bad roots?

Days 35-42 (Day 36) Some minor problems starting to arise here. A few times this week it got up to 90+ degrees which I think may have caused a bit of heat stress in some of the plants. I’m seeing a bit of cupping/crinkles on some of the fan leaves and some of the new growth is looking pretty gnarled and twisted. I hear windburn can cause this too so I’m turning my fans down to low speed. This could also be a problem with humidity so I’m going to turn off my humidifier, dim the lights and raise them. During my last feeding I mulched in some worm castings but it seems like they’re keeping the soil/coco from drying out. Pots are still decently heavy and even the surface is still quite moist but they aren’t showing any major signs of overwatering. I figure it will only be a few weeks before the castings break down so I will just leave it. A few of the plants are starting to show yellowing leaf tips which is probably some kind of micro nutrient lockout from my PH being slightly too high. It could also be from nute burn so I will water in 6.0 until I see some runoff. Although the most likely culprit is potassium excess. I’ve been feeding potassium almost as much as nitrogen so far. I know that can cause the yellowing of leaf tips by locking out trace minerals. It can also cause leaf problems like crinkling. Excess K can even cause water retention! Will water at 6.0 until run off next watering. The lst is coming along nicely. It was a good idea to remove the first two sets of branches (not leaves). Now I have 4-6 perfectly even stems coming from each plant that I plan to top one more time each. (Day 37) Today I’m going to vacuum, clean, wipe down and spray all my equipment in the tent. I’ve been letting the floor get quite dirty and I haven’t had the chance for a thorough clean since last round. I’m kind of surprised I haven’t seen any powdery mildew yet. I guess the prevention spray is working because the room has to be infected from my last crop. (Day 40) I was reading that you can foliar spray whatever you are deficient in for an immediate uptake. I‘m going to try that with my current potassium excess since it locks out trace minerals. I’m going to foliar feed a bit of phytoplankton at 15ml/L and some MagnifiCal + VeloKelp from Remo nutrients both at 5ml/L. The cal mag is not organic but as long as it’s not going into the soil and doesn’t contain chlorine I’m fine with it. I’m also going to be changing the light cycle to 18/6 for the remainder of veg. This will be their first dark cycle so they can properly foliar feed. Edit: humidity shot up to 85% a few hours after foliar spray. I went to top dress everything today and I mixed up the plants while doing so! So the ones I was unsure about I gave 1 extra tablespoon. I won’t top dress again for at least 10 days. Might give a light tea sometime next week. I also tilled the shit out of the top of each pot. It had a hard crusty layer on top that was keeping the medium from drying out properly. I’m not going to water again until everything is bone dry. Then I will water until slight runoff at 6.0 ph with some Dr. Marijane bacteria/root probiotic. I’m starting too see a lot more of these abrasions on some of the bigger fan leaves. It almost looks like thrip damage but I’m 100% sure it’s not a pest above ground. It could be bulb mites, which I found in my worm castings but I can’t check until the roots are more established in their pots. The leaves themselves are cold and feel damp to the touch. I haven’t even seen a fungus gnat since I last fed. I’m hoping it’s related to the K excess and clears up with the troubleshooting. (Day 41) Just ordered a wire cube rack to prop my plants up with and help evaporation/root warmth. Each cube is 11.8”x11.8”x11.8” and it comes with 16 cubes. So it will fit just perfectly in my 4x4. Depending on the size, I might order another one for the flower room where I would need 25 cubes.

Day 126. Really day 90 from seed, part of Control Garden. Amazing how they Bulk, 3 weeks of veg only, crazy strain ! If i ever wanted anything from this strain, she was like "Let's do it ! " 8 sisters were amazing, now i used last two biggest beans and those had no training, no light, nothing, but went into absolute overdrive smells amazing, branches hard to hold while trimming ... Love them, maybe this time taste will be better, different nutes used ... Its so funny to hear branches slowly bending and cracking under own weight with no support left ... Amazing sound for grower ;)) Control Garden is an absolute success even with Strawberries hermie part .. Cure day. 250 g total. Insane for 3 weeks veg, one cola lost to budrot, no direct light and early harvest which led to a bit airy Monster Bulk buds, she could make 150 easy without budrot and one more week of flower ... Will update on night shift ;) Day Unknown. Decided to try out finally last girls for diary records, but ... After a month of intense cure buds got angly/pyramid type forms ... ????? Any idea ? First two weeks moved at least twice a day.

🇺🇸 Grow Journal – Week 12 | Pineapple Upside Down (Veg) Week 12 of veg — the Pineapple Upside Down is cruising steady and looking stronger than ever. I’ve been letting her just do her thing, focusing on recovery and structure before deciding if I’ll top her later. At this stage, it’s all about patience and letting her build up natural vigor. Nutrient-wise, still running the Athena Blended line, holding the mix at EC 1.4. I’ve been experimenting with Athena Balance, and I have to say — it’s impressive. My base water pH usually fluctuates between 6.3 and 6.8, depending on the day. I add 1 ml of Balance, which actually brings it up close to pH 9.3. Once the nutrients are mixed in, the solution drops back down to around pH 7–7.2, and from there I fine-tune it with a touch of pH Down to land right around 6.0–6.1. I allow a gentle drift down to 5.8, but whenever it hits that mark, I bump it back up slightly to keep things steady around 6.1–6.2. Honestly, Athena keeps the reservoir incredibly clean — crystal clear every time. It’s one of those small details that really makes a difference when you’re running hydro long-term. Temperatures are holding around 22–23°C, with humidity between 70 and 75%, which keeps the environment perfect for steady vegetative growth. She’s lush, healthy, and just waiting for her turn in the flower tent — if I had more space, she’d probably be flipping already. That’s about it for this week — nothing flashy, just solid progress and patience. Can’t wait to see how she performs once she hits flower. Wow the smell! ghost train smells like a citrusy diesel and the pineapple is getting more of an acidic fruity aroma. they are finally starting to put on some size closing in on the end of week 4 flower, next week i will step up the nutes. I defoliared the bottom 50% of the plant now that it seems to have finished stretching, and removed any big fan leaves blocking the better bud sites. i couldn’t ask for a better first grow so far!

26.12.24: I have noticed light stress on my plants. I had moved the lights further away and increased the light intensity to 70%. Unfortunately that created some issues. Namely severe palour of the leaves. To try and rectify the situation, I've dimmed the lights to about 30%, staying at the same distance, about 30 inches away. I measured the par levels, after I did this. They should a reading of anywhere between 40 and 150, at the canopy of the plants. They are all different sizes. This seems to have improved the colouring on all plants. After this evenings watering, I will monitor recovery and increase lighting intensity again slowly. I am also using the light cycle of 21/3, so the plants have many hours more light to absorb, than for example 12/12 or 18/6. I am pleased with the progress, considering all of my mistakes! 29.12.24: So I finally gave LST a shot, it's probably a bit too late, however I really want to get the most of the triploid pheno, and I went a little crazy and LST'd all plants except 2, as they're too small. I did that late last night, this afternoon I was amazed to see the plants turn their leaves back to the light source. I'm glad I overcame my fear of trying it. I'm very excited to see them adapt and progress! 😁 there are videos above with before and after of my LST process. Thanks for checking out my diary 🍃 ✌️

Hello & big Welcome.... To my Greenfingeress diary "Weed Seeds Express" strain "Ak-48" auto 🌿 donated by the generous guys from Weed Seeds Express who I'd like to say a big thumbs up 👍 for all their support and Excellent strain choice😁 Germination was successful within 24hours... In moist tissue paper with just plain ph5.6 water, in my usual ice-cream tub with holes in the lid to keep the moisture then placed into mother room to keep warm.. 😁 Can't wait to get these girls going🌿 14 Hour's later all my girl's have popped as you can see 😁 weed Seeds Express always have strong good seeds 100% success rate👍 Day 2.... Carefully planted into some plain soil then into propagation, I have heat mat inside giving me high humidity (although I wish I had a better light😤) just waiting for a head's up now 😂 Well will you look at them go... Using smaller domes now tightly on (no gaps) Day 3.... After 24hour's in propagation unit with heat mat and smaller domes they have all come through.... I'm quite chuffed as they don't look to thin and long at the moment fingers crossed😬🍀 Day 4.... Now into my veg tent with bigger domes on, as you can see I am growing 4 girls, three of them are in the same pot going to Greenfingers666 one of them I am growing all the way through to harvest😬 As you can see I've added some pictures of my veg tent of all the different strains I'm growing and all the different ages they are... Huge plant which I wasn’t planning on putting a net over, this was not a planned scrog as I only implemented the net at day 12 of flower as I moved the runtz in to a different tent and thought I would stretch this one out to fill the tent. Looks real promising with lots of bud sites, did a little defoliation just to help with light penetration to the middle and lower bud sites.

The purple/pink/orange hues from the strawberry cough is solid forming into decent size nugs. Those huge colas are a sexy sight to watch however the tendency for mould attack is high for those strawberry. Hoping my fan, air circulation, and humidity will stop those mould from coming. Also i am turning up my AC to 20hours when it is day 90 onwards, using panasonic nano AC to clear up any pollutants from entering the tent. There is a purple punch indica dominant hiding under those autoflowers i know it is hard to spot them, will keep those purple punch longer in flowering since they are bullied by 2 monstrous autos. Feeding them with just 3.5L water+feed. 2.5 litres of water and 1 litre of feed. I feed them 1L on Sundays, and on friday i water them with 2.5L of water, by doing this, my humidity remains within 55%max and 38% minimum when the pot dries.

Well, I've had a problem. One of my automatic plug has failed and the light has been on for 3 days 24h/day. I've had some problems because of this but I think (I hope) I've recovered. This will be the last week with ripen and then water for the last week. Buds are still nice and it seems that everything is ready for the harvest. 😉
