This strain likes to stretch a lot so in full swing. Bottom leaves crumbling and turning brown/ yellow. This is in a shared autopot base so increasing nutrient dosages throughout.

- Not much to report this week. Shes still stretching like crazy. - Lowered the pot down in the bucket a few Centimetres because she reached the top of the led strips already. Now shes reached them again, hopefully she doesn't stretch much more because i'm quickly running out of space. In the worst case scenario, ill have to move her outside. - Finally some pre-buds started forming towards the end of this week. - Its drinking a lot as well, giving her a good soaking of about 2 litres every 2-3 days.

6/22 End of fist week in newly remodeled grow room! Clones did well with transfer from clone machine to grow rails. Got rid of the 3 inch neoprene Inserts for the sliced pipe insulation. Wrapping the pipe insulation around the root riot allows me to see the base of the plant and the root riot witch provides a good indication of moisture level in the rail. By zoning the high pressure irrigation, the pressure is running higher than the last round and I found my settings at 3 minutes every 30 min too much water. Added 10 minutes to root dry time to 40 minutes off. Seems to have done the trick and leaf curling has diminished. 😀 All set for new round. Last week's topping turned out to be a FIMing. Not necessarily a bad thing, but I wasn't planning for it. I guess that makes it a true FIM. I tied a branch too tight during LST and it snapped while the plant was growing. Reminder to avoid training too tightly.

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. This week was amazing to see the growth really start. Felt like a little kid again when observing the first pointy leaves that come through! To think these 9 are going to provide us with the most beautiful, versatile plant on our planet, is just awesome. Eradicating the need to fuel crime by putting money in dealers pockets, and taking full control of the wonders I’ll be inhaling and consuming. They didn’t need much attention day to day, just moving windowsills morning/afternoon, and watering when the soil/pots looked dry. Thankfully haven’t had much trouble with them, although one of the FastBuds original AK’s isn’t looking so great. She’s not as developed as the others as you can see. She’s not received any different treatment or water or anything different at all to the others. Maybe I need to investigate more. I’ve decided to try stay as organic as possible with this grow. With that said, I’ve been brewing up a nettle tea to make a good nitrogen feed for the girls. Nitrogen is said to be needed most during veg stage, so preparing as much as I can.

She’s flourishing great!! One of the quickest plants I’ve ever flowered no doubt! From the minute she was induced she took off like a rocket buds are dense and frosty n should be finishing up any week now! Very pungent almost citrus like odor from the plant but you smell the blueberries as well almost like a ripening one it’s very distinct, but smells delicious among the other aromas.

King tut is foxtailing, I had two hours where the temps got to 90 in the tent three days in a row. I've seen some others mention foxtailing on king tut in general. With the ROI-E680 a few people complained about foxtailing on the first couple grows. I turned the light down to 60% from 80 and the dehumidifier set on low so it would stop spiking the tent temp and keep the humidity in the 50s as best I can. Fingers crossed!

This is it for these killer kushes! Different phenos, one was ready in 8 weeks, one in 9 and this last one in 10! The quality is definitely here, it’s just the speed that ain’t 🤣! Overall I’m happy with them even though every single one hermied on me (100% my fault)! No seeds in the end though, as I kept plucking balls and nanners every day for a couple of weeks!
