A última hora de la tarde (cuando ya no había sol directo) les apliqué H2O en spray foliarmente para refrescar los estomas Hoy parece que vuelven las temperaturas estándar para esta época del año: 29 - 30 ºC en las horas centrales del día Riego con 1 litro de H20 pH 6,5 Día 46 (17/07) Pequeños ajustes de LST Hay algunas ramas inferiores que no se han formado / estirado mucho Lo más probable es que haga una buena limpieza este domingo, 7 días después del trasplante, para dejar solo los brotes por encima del 4º nudo Día 47 (18/07) Riego con 0,5 litro de H20 pH 6,5 Este domingo (día 50) haré limpieza de partes bajas y tal vez también de nuevo topping en las 4-6 ramas principales 😁 Día 48 (19/07) Día de muchísimo calor con 37 ºC. Riego con 0,5 litro de H20 pH 6,5 Día 49 (20/07) Para ayudarles a llevar mejor el calor de las horas centrales del día, coloca una malla de sombreo (70%) sobre el invernadero Lo cierto es que se nota que baja mucho la temperatura debajo de la malla! Hi Growmies, I'm excited to share some big news today! Although there have been some unexpected twists, it's all part of the incredible journey of gardening. I've just completed the harvest, a tad earlier than initially planned, due to finding a bit of mold in one of the buds. Despite this minor hiccup, the trichomes were already at a decent 10% to 15% amber. So, all things considered, the timing ended up being pretty spot-on. The harvested weight was a solid 609 grams after trimming, which is quite a feat! A lesson learned for next time: perhaps I let her grow a few too many buds, leading to a denser canopy than ideal. But on the bright side, the aroma is absolutely divine. I sampled an airy bud that had dried a bit, and wow, it packs a stronger punch than its clone mother. And the flavor? Pure, unadulterated cheese – no hint of pineapple here! Now, the anticipation builds for the final dry weight, which I should know in about 3-4 days. Week 6 Veg Report – Runtz We Meet Again! Another week, another step forward in our Eternity Grow Cup 2025 journey, and oh boy, do we have a lot to unpack! These Runtz girls are showing their potential, and we’re dialing in every little detail to ensure they thrive. Let’s dive deep into everything that happened this week! Cal-Mag Deficiency Adjustment – Pheno #5’s Special Needs This week started with a close inspection of our phenos, and we noticed that Pheno #5 was showing early signs of a calcium/magnesium deficiency. Whether it was slightly off VPD levels or this particular plant being more demanding, we decided to correct it by increasing the dose of RO Water Conditioner. Now, while this isn’t a direct substitute for Cal-Mag, it does contain trace amounts that can help stabilize the situation. 🔬 Understanding Cal-Mag Deficiency: Calcium and magnesium are essential secondary nutrients. Calcium strengthens cell walls, preventing issues like tip burn and weak stems, while magnesium plays a critical role in chlorophyll production, allowing plants to efficiently absorb light energy. 💡 Signs of Deficiency: • Yellowing between veins (Magnesium) • Rust spots on leaves (Calcium) • Slow growth and weak stems ⚡ How We Address It: • Slightly increasing RO Water Conditioner to see if trace minerals help • Keeping an eye on overall nutrient uptake to ensure no lockout • Monitoring VPD (Vapor Pressure Deficit) closely to optimize nutrient absorption Let’s see how she reacts next week! Branching Development – Pheno #2 Leading the Race All five phenos are thriving, but Pheno #2 is showing the most aggressive branching, pushing outward faster than her sisters. However, overall, we’re seeing very uniform growth, which speaks volumes about the stability of these genetics. 🌱 What is Branching & Why It Matters? Branching is the plant’s way of expanding its canopy, increasing surface area for photosynthesis, and maximizing potential bud sites. Well-structured branches allow better airflow, light penetration, and more even growth—key for a successful high-yield harvest. ⚖️ Topping vs. Leaf Bending – The Training Choice Instead of topping, I’ve decided to go with leaf bending for now. This method allows for gentle manipulation of the plant’s growth without causing major stress. Once we introduce the SCROG (Screen of Green) net, this training will help maximize the canopy spread. Lots of SCROG work this week tucking the girls in. It seems to be very rewarding but takes a lot of time. The plants seem to have grown a lot in just a couple of days this week. Really happy about that 😌 It's been a good week and it feels like some of the work put in seems to be showing. We are having some issues with the pH raising in our tank. It was 6.6 today so we lowered it. Hopefully that's not the cause of the yellowing leaf tips. Will have to keep a better eye on the pH from now on. Humidity and lack of space keeps making some leaves wet, so we put a third fan under the canopy. Let's hope the air circulation is sufficient now. We are done with defoliation for now. One lonely thrip was seen flying around the grow area but they are getting less and less. We've been anticipating flipping the flower the whole week. Got a better dehumidifier at the end of the week, and did it. Humidity was finally in check and the flower was flipped on day 41 😎 Every SCROG hole was filled with a bud site before the flip. That amounts to a crazy number of 225. Let's see how they develop!

Week4 of bloom, feeding Floranova Bloom, at 1tsp/gal. Each plant receives a glug or two from a 1gallon mixture. Runoff is removed. Happy growing!

These clones turned out to be beautiful and easy to please little ladies. They did possibly go a few days longer than other growers may have allowed, but in my opinion Id rather a little longer than prematurely cut. I cannot wait for them to be ready to enjoy after some drying and curing. This is the final week, next time will be the harvest, this girl just got mature from a day to the other, lost 70% of the top bud due to rot i haven t seen.
