The girls have just started to slow down their drinking and pistols are changing colour, buds are swelling, they are getting ready to finish. Added the UV and IR light bars in this week. Started the week with just one bar and then both in place by end of week. Each bar has 10 x 730nm, 10 x 395nm, 6 x 660nm pulling 30 watts each. Trichome enhancers!! Working with the new light this run I have certainly pushed them with more light intensity than they should have received, broke 1100 PAR for a bit. This has also started to cause some foxtails to begin rather than staying compact and swelling the buds. Know for next time……always changes to make 😊 Little more detail….. Mar 13/21, Day 36 - Feed day with full line of Innovating Plant Products but at ¾ strength. - Keeping up the feeding but thinking about nitrogen levels and working on reducing. - feeding with grow – 0.5, micro – 1.5, bloom – 2.5, ult B – 0.5, carbs – 0.75, B Storm – 2, S Storm – 3, Terp – 3, Jet Fuel – 1.5, Rezin 1 - 1300ppm and 6.2pH - MM1 – 4L and MM2 – 3L - Added in the first UV bar today Mar 14/21, Day 37 - Seeing lots of swelling these days from the girls. - Microbe feeding today…….possibly last round of microbes. - Plain tap water with Recharge @ ½ tsp/gal and Natures Candy @ 1.5ml - 400ppm and 6.1pH - 3L all around today…..very little run off. Mar 15/21, Day 38 - Another feed day today. Last week of feed so pushing them a little more. No Grow added! Last couple of feeds with CalMag as well, seeing some magnesium issues so giving last dose. - feeding with micro – 1.5, bloom – 2.5, ult B – 0.5, carbs – 1, B Storm – 2.5, S Storm – 3, Terp – 3, Jet Fuel – 1.5, MagNifiCal – 1.5ml - 1175ppm and 6.0pH - MM1 – 4L and MM2 – 3L - Mar 16/21, Day 39 - Just giving the basic building blocks at this stage. Most of the supplements not added this feeding. - feeding with Grow – 0.5, micro – 1.5, bloom – 2, carbs – 1, Rezin – 1.5ml, MagNifiCal – 0.5ml - 875ppm and 6.0pH - MM1 – 4L and MM2 – 2.5L Mar 17/21, Day 40 - Last Feed Day……calling it at day 40 this run!!!!! - 4L of feed water left from yesterday so added in 12L of RO water to keep the ppm down. - Left over plus Rezin @ 2ml, Overdrive @ 2ml (its hard to let go of your routines…I have been using Overdrive for so long……it feels wrong to not be using it this run….snuck in a couple ml😊) - 485ppm and 6.0pH - MM1 – 4L and MM2 – 2.5L - Light power pushed back up to 525 watts……..keeping the intensity up to hit the lower bud sites….will see what happens to the uppers. Mar 18/21, Day 41 - Starting flush but not hitting the pots with 12 gallons of water each type of flush! Will just drop the ppm down to nothing and use RO water……planning on having close to 3 weeks to flush….second guessing that I really have that long though so may actually end up adding a flushing agent to the girls…..decide in the next 4 days so can leave plain water time if I do. - Watering with Enzymes @ 2ml…….clean up the roots and help them get more of the ppm out of the media. - 100ppm and 5.9pH……..missed the pH but not adding both up and down, ran with this. - Light power pulled back down 480 watts Mar 19/21, Day 42 - Dry out day today. Will be letting the pots get dryer now before adding more moisture. - Leaving them for today though. Give flushing agent in next 2 days if going to. - Work down the light intensity more in next couple of days as well. - UV lights going now for 3 hours per day on both fixtures at the middle of the light schedule.

420 Fastbuds Week 9 Gorilla Cookies Auto Week 9 update for these two temperamental girls. They absolutely did not like the feeding I gave them a few feds back. Over all besides the yellow and crispy leafs they appear to be growing good. I'm only going to give them maybe two more weeks before they get the chop.

I am not on facebook instagram twitter etc All accounts except this one are fake. Harvest day 71 since the time change to 12/12 hrs. Hey guys :-) Finally the time has come . The lady was harvested. After the trichomes have been checked (70% milky 30% amber) as always, it was left in complete darkness for 48 hours before it was neatly trimmed by hand. After trimming, she was put back in the drying tent on nets. There they are allowed to dry for the next 8-12 days at 62% humidity before they are put into the jar to ferment with 62% boveda packs. After about 4-6 weeks in the jar I will swap the 62% boveda pack for a 58% boveda pack where it can be ready for another 4-6 weeks to enjoy :-). As always, the remains of the leaves are used to make Ice o Lator and oil. Of course, as always, there is a final update during the fermentation process. Flowering day 34 since time change to 12/12 h. Hey guys :-) The buds have developed incredibly nicely this week. The smell is getting more and more extreme :-) . The growth has slowly stopped as the full energy goes into the production of the buds. Watering was done twice this week, each time with 1.2 l (nutrients see table above) They were individually inspected and checked for their health. Day 22 - The plant looks really good today and there is more space on internodes so will start LST on this soon. Day 23 - She looking magnificent and thick. Day 24 - Watered the plant today with nutrients and i tried to control the PH and i don't think it worked. The plant had a bit of LST she has grown well and is looking ready for it.Also we done some seriouse decore change today so the whole place looks like a bud box we got the other plants from my diaries featuring in a the video. Day 25 - Must say the plant is a strong and very bushy is very hard to work with it. Will defoliate her in the next few days. Growing just perfectly to not give me headache. Day 26 -Was to busy running around didnt take a pic its a shame but its okay. Day 27 - The baby looks beautiful she is growing well. She will need to be defoliated soon she is very bushy and has allot of shade leaves. I watered her today with nutrients. I raised the light but i also raised the plant as well so its sitting at around 30cm - 45cm. Day 28 - This beauty of a plant has not yet given me any headaches she just grows by her self in her own time. Looks allot thicker and wider.

Everything went alright so far, plants looking healthy. Pistols coming out, buds preparing to grow. I did a defoliation 2 days ago and removed all lower branches that are not really covered in light

I started germination of this Gold Bar Kush bean on 29/12/2020. I pre moistened my rockwool cube with ph balanced water to 6.4. Made sure the plug was just damp and not soaked. Using a small wooden dowel I increased the size of the plugs pre made hole. Than I sowed my bean into the hole. Ripped off a small piece of rockwool and mulched it up. Lightly filled the hole in with the mulched rockwool. Than stuck the plug into a misted humidity dome, to complete germination. Shouldn't take anymore than 4-5 days to see a sprout. Once I see some cotlydon leaves bursting to the surface. I will get the plug planted into a 1 gallon pot. Plus get this lady situated into her new home. Cant wait! Some background information on my first run with GBK. It's a VERY robust variety packing hella branches, hella quick. Prime candidate for continues ongoing lst work. To maintain a clean,uncongested even canopy. She can become a jungle quick if left untamed. Shes very easy going in the nutrient department. Not hard to keep this one happy. Packs on lots of weight everywhere towards end of flower. Branches most definitely need some support or they will come crashing down. The flavor and aroma from this variety sre majestic. The intense indica effects are heavenly. Not hard to guess why it's back in the grow room for round 2.

Really love a set of scales to keep track of weight too. pH and EC are both critical for thriving plant health, but temperature also plays a pivotal role in achieving optimal growth. It also happens to be the fundamental parameter that's most commonly overlooked. When you think about temperature in the context of a growing environment, you could be referring to the temperature of the air around the plants or you could also be referring to the temperature of nutrient solution or irrigation water, which will affect the root zone temperature. While air temperature is important, for the purposes of this piece, I'll be focusing on root zone temperature and its effect on nutrient uptake and overall plant health. That's because a plant's root system is the location of two essential chemical processes: water and nutrient absorption. In each of these processes, having the correct root zone temperature is paramount for these to occur efficiently. In a nutshell, root zone temperature will affect the rate at which your plants are able to absorb nutrients. If you let your root zone temperature remain unmonitored and uncontrolled, this could lead to disastrous effects on your overall crop yield. Nutrient absorption is largely driven by chemical processes, which take place in your plants' roots; the efficacy of these processes is determined by the temperatures to which those roots are exposed. Once your root zone temperature moves out of its optimal range, the plant will not be able to deliver optimal levels of nutrients and water. Ideally, you should aim to have your nutrient solution or irrigation water temperature at around 18 – 22 °C (65 - 72 °F) to ensure optimal nutrient and water uptake. In addition to having an effect on nutrient absorption, your root zone temperature also affects oxygen availability and solubility. If your water is too warm, you could risk starving your roots of oxygen as warm water cannot hold as much dissolved oxygen as colder water. So just started giving them a bit of low stress training and upped the ml's nutrients. These are my first ever auto's and im a bit dubious to how they'll turn out. Hey now, I hope everyone is having a great weekend, it was a good week for the ladies in the 5X5, they are all starting to stack flowers and really starting to distinguish their own smells. The Bubble Runtz has the most indica dominant looking colas and smells absolutely amazing. The Sundae Driver is looking like she is gonna have the fattest colas and be the biggest producer. I am really hoping I get the red phenotype of the Red Hot Cookies, and both the Green Crack and Durban Nights are showing the most Sativa characteristics and looking great. I now have the Medic Grow Light cranked up to 100% in F1 mode and am also using the UV/IR for 30 minutes per day prior to lights out. I am running a 12/12 cycle and feeding the same mix of GH nutrients which include Silica, CalMag, MaxiBloom, and Bloom Booster, with additional food grade Hydrogen Peroxide in the reservoir to keep algea growth to a minimum. I mix one 5 gallon bucket of nutes per day and clean my reservoir once per week. My pump is set to auto feed the plants every 5 hours after lights on, and I have a gravity self draining runoff setup I built. Not much to do from here on out, just keep the reservoir clean and full, a little defoliation, and 5 minutes per day to mix a bucket of nutes. I hope they get fat in the next few weeks and then I have about 7 people lined up to help me trim, I will throw everyone two zips for the help. hoping to do the wet trim in a day.
