Week 6 Vegetation - "Ruby's" rate of growth continued to increase near the beginning of the week. As expected, this plant is overtaking the twin plant in terms of growth rate now that the bushy triplicate foundation is developed. Kinda reminds me of the "Tortoise & Hare" story about slow and steady winning the race XD With the nodes stretching and growing quickly, I've started to implement tucking of the larger fan leaves under new and smaller shoots. I find this "new growth priority" method paired with LST really maximizes and speeds up the growth in comparison to an untrained plant. Merely anecdotal though! You'll notice that in the 3rd shot, the nodes stretched out in about 2 days and just ballooned! now that's what I'm talking about! nearing the middle of the week and the rate of growth is fast enough that I can't remember to take enough pictures between the new nodes. At this point I'm tucking new leaves almost daily, making paths for the light to reach new growth tips. By the end of the week, I'll need to start tying the nodes to the side before they stretch too far up. If they stretch too far before tying them, they can be a PITA to tie down later with dense foliage and such. Tying them down before they get to this point also keeps the nutrients moving to the "new side-nodes" from these branches. Eventually these will be just as thick as the original main stalk. Luckily this plant seems to be bulking just as much as stretching - yay! UPDATE: As you can see with the last photos added, the branches are almost even with the original top of the plant that was tied down. I gave them a thorough fertigation the night before, and only slight folding of the leaves so I must have choked the roots a bit, but nothing long term.

This week I had almost no time at all due to family commitments - I'm also completely at a loss as to what deficiency my plants are suffering from. I would say a serious calcium magnesium deficiency. But why? I mixed every watering with calmag - I suspect that the pH value in the soil was not right at times. The deficiency came overnight with the second compost tea. Oh well - I hope I can still salvage something. I would be very grateful for help. Thank you 🙏

Flowering Week 6 – Fading Leaves, Persistent Flies The sixth week of flowering brought a mix of progress and persistent problems. The whitefly issue unfortunately hasn’t gone away. I replaced both yellow sticky traps at the end of the week, and within minutes, two new whiteflies were already spotted on the fresh left trap. The old one had four additional flies on the back. This pest pressure remains a concern, but I’ve decided to hold off on further neem oil sprays for now, given how far along we are in flowering. I’ll keep monitoring closely. Nutrient-wise, I stayed cautious this week due to ongoing signs of overfeeding. Leaf tips are still showing yellowing and some burn, especially on the lower leaves. Many leaves have pronounced yellow spots and curled tips — a clear sign of excess nutrients earlier on. To reduce stress, I watered with plain pH-adjusted water (5.5–6.0). Total watering volume was approximately 29 liters This week I also did a second round of lollipopping, focusing on removing all small popcorn buds and lower growth under the net that wouldn’t develop well. Despite the nutrient stress and the ongoing whitefly presence, the plants are still developing well. Buds are getting chunkier, trichome production is visibly increasing, and the overall structure is solid. Still, I’ll be keeping a close eye on both leaf health and pest activity in the coming days. ⸻ TL;DR – Week 6: • New whiteflies still showing up – 7 total seen this week. Why use cotton pads? You should use cotton pads because it is one of the fastest way to germinate seeds, it is also one of the more reliable way. This is a NOOB-FRIENDLY tenchnique, you have to respect some little and easy steps: -take one cotton pad, spray it 5 times with water; -dispose seeds in the sprayed cotton pad, remember to leave minimum 1cm of space between seeds, -take a new cotton pad, spray it 3 times with water, face it down and put it on the seeds of the first cotton pad; -now, spray the dry side 3 times. -put this/these "sandwich/es" in a sealed container of a sufficient size to store them, I use like a plastic tupperware (glass or plastic are equal) with about this size: 15x30.It contains about 8 "sandwitches". -store the container in a dark place with a temperature from 17°C and more. These girls were veged for 7weeks & trained through a scrog net, looking very lush & healthy. Performed defoliation before flipping to flower, to thin them out a bit as they were very bushy & covering growth tips & also leaves were sweating from laying on top of each other.

Had major issues with the mildew lost London Mint Cake, Cookies Kush, Bruce Banner and Cheetos… The last standing planta has no problems with the mildew. Malasana Cookies and Gary Payton are finished and now they are drying. I will give an Update when all is dry and smokeable.

Day 21, doing some thinning. The little runt pheno in the front looks like it was barely touched from the top. I'm going to have to wait a couple days for the weekend so I can get the rest.

The heat and humidity is crazy this week.... ac and dehumidifier... 😱 I have been trying to get low temps at night, the lowest coming in at 17.8 C. She usually sits around 22.2 C... Day time temps even with my ballast being able to dim, sit around 31.4 C without the AC, and 27.2 C with 👺 I do have outside air vent properly in/out... just a good old heat wave.... I was thinking that is was possible my last week, but the trichs are still mostly clear even though the white hairs are maturing... Seems like Cindy sprouts new pistils everyday... I read that could be due to heat stress... which makes sense with the Heat Wave...😎 I am keeping an eye out for *bananas* since I also read that it is possible due to heat stres... don't want her herming out on me... I'll let her go for another week then start looking to put her in darkness... not sure if I'm doing 36, 48, or 72 hrs darkness... or longer... 😵 Bam! 😜

Hello again Good week, she grew at least 10 cm. Healthy green leaves. One watering with nutrients. Every 5 days vita race spray, other days pure water. Gonna give rhizotonic next watering. Also did a slight defolation. Removed the 2 lowest fanleaves. No need to put energy in those future popcornbuds. She spend most of the week inside behind the warm window sun with a little breeze from a ventilator Next week it will be very warm here. I think I will leave her outside. She's strong enough by now. Upcoming week I will also start the Neem Oil treatment. Purely preventive but outside there is more chance on bad bugs so I wanna be ahead of problems instead of waiting for the first signs😁 keep an eye out cause I will post more pictures this week to show how she develops. Day 43 (15 of flowering) stopped top max. Added 2 ml more of bio grow, Let’s see what’s going to change. Stretching is visible every day more. Now just waiting to big bud increasing. Next week i’ll add Carbon Filter to ventilation set up. I think other 6 weeks left. Day 45, added Rhino skin, let’see next change. Day 46, i think streching is finish. Now just waiting to get that bud big and fat. Removed top max 4 days ago, and added 2 ml of rhino yesterday just to improve stem and branches, i added cause i tought to a nutrients déficience but at thé end after reading answers to my question i fixed air ventilation that was increasing too much the temperature in the up per side of the grow. Soil Ph is 6,8. Day 48, i just moved my ventilation that was causing some issue to the highest bud of orange. Rhino by adv increasing stem health is visible now and color are great. I think orange will take at least 2/3 weeks more than Blue dream auto Any suggestion is accepted :) Let’s go.
