Their structures remain remarkably similar, tall, strong, and full of energy, while each holds onto her own personality, expressed in leaf form and flower shape. This week we noticed a few small spots on the leaves. Nothing dramatic, nothing to sound alarms about, but enough to remind us that plants, like people, sometimes whisper when they need something. It could be calcium, it could be another minor imbalance, but the key is observation. We’ll keep a close eye, watching for patterns, listening to what the girls want to tell us, and adjusting gently if needed. 🌱 Quick Recap (For Those Just Joining) From the start, this run has been about detail and care. • Germination was clean and quick, the girls leaping from seed into life. • Veg was marked by strong branching, healthy leaves, and the unforgettable funky unicorn foliage of Pheno #2. • Transplanting into super soil and fabric pots gave them the room to spread their roots and breathe. • The shift into flower was smooth, guided by careful lighting, steady feeding, and a balance of Aptus and Plagron nutrients. • Weeks 4 and 5 saw sativa-like stretch, white hairs bursting across every cola, and canopy lights filling every corner with photons. We’re keeping EC balanced, always mindful that the soil already provides a strong foundation. 💡 What’s Happening & What’s Next This week is all about observation. Flowers are swelling, resin begins to sparkle in early traces, and aromas start to hint at what’s to come. What to expect: denser buds, richer pistil coloration, and a canopy that will soon demand defoliation for airflow. What not to expect: miracles overnight. This is the stage of patience, where the magic brews quietly within each calyx. 💚 Closing Thought The Gelonades remind us that growth is rarely flawless. PS: Understanding Foxtailing One of the girls, our Pheno #2, is starting to show signs of foxtailing. For those new to the term, foxtailing refers to when buds grow in elongated, irregular patterns instead of stacking neatly into the dense, conical shape we often expect. The result is a flower that looks “spiky” or “funky,” almost as though the plant is growing multiple little towers from a single cola. Why does this happen? There are two main sides to the story: • Genetic Foxtailing: Some strains naturally express this trait, especially sativa-leaning hybrids. In this case, foxtailing is simply part of the plant’s personality, often leading to extra surface area for resin glands, which can even mean more trichomes and aromas. • Environmental Foxtailing: Stress factors can also trigger it — high heat, intense light (too much PPFD), or shifts in feeding can encourage buds to keep stacking in odd ways rather than finishing their round formation. In our case, the temperatures have sometimes pushed higher than ideal, and the lights are running strong, so those factors might play a role. But genetics also carry a heavy influence, and Gelonade — being sativa-leaning, can naturally lean toward these elongated flower expressions. Is foxtailing a problem? Not at all. While it can look unusual compared to the “textbook” cola shape, it doesn’t reduce quality. In fact, it can increase flower mass and surface resin coverage, giving us more material and potentially more complex aesthetics. Some growers even treasure it as a unique expression of their plant’s individuality. So while Pheno #2 may look a little funky, we see it as a gift, more fruit, more character, more story to tell. The plant has entered an active flowering phase, has undergone defoliation, feels good

Middle front was not doing so great but once I feed it some Calimagic and a heavier dose of nutrients it fixed itself just was hungry. Just gonna let them do their stretching till week 2 or 3 then I'm gonna raise the light watts.

My first outdoor grow. This is around week 9 of growth. I got these 2 clones from someone and grew them indoors for about a month or so before hardening them off. They have been through plenty of training and topping and even more since this picture. As of 5 days ago they were nice and wide so I'm excited to see the growth since the. I have done a great deal to keep deer and bugs at bay. Neem oil, dog and human urine, dried blood, ground pepper and powdered, oregano, garlic and onion. The site is very difficult to access. Poison ivy, thorns, steep ravine and large logs to climb over. No paths there and I take different ways constantly, as well as through some fertilizer in my wake. There's a small creek near by and a larger one it fees into about 75 yards away. There's 3 bags of FFOF and 1 bag happy frog between the 2 holes, with amino acids and great white mixed in as well as some water polymer crystals.

Son 6 white truffles, 6 Apple&Bazzokies de GBSTRAINS y 5 GG4 de GBSEEDS que se empezaron a germinar el 15 de mayo por la tarde sobre las 19:00 Todas nutridas con BOOM nutrients jejeje Todas las semanas iremos viendo los cambios y la evolución, los riegos y las flores que vendrán :) El 16 de mayo del 23 sobre las 07:00 de la mañana pase las semillas del vaso con agua, a los tapers con servilleta. Ahí estuvieron 24 horas mas haciendo un total de 36 horas germinando para después, pasarlas a las macetas de 1 litro. 22/05/23 actualizado, meto unas fotos mas de como van las semillas después de 7 días desde que se empezaron a germinar en el vaso de agua. A día 22/05/23 llevamos 7 días desde que se empezaron a germinar. ACTUALIZACION DE ESTADO: 30/05/23 Subo unas fotos después de 8 días. Llevamos 15 días desde que se empezó a germinar las semillas en vaso de agua. A partir de aquí, empiezo a contar semanas de crecimiento. Trasplantaremos a maceta definitivas de 7L dentro de una semana o 2.

Las macetas se le empiezan a quedar pequeñas Riego con 250 ml de H20 pH 6,5 Día 35 (06/07) Training session! Aplico LST a todas y supercropping a la OnionOG mutante con 4 colas por nodo Riego con 500 ml H20 pH 6,5 Día 36 (07/07) Riego con 500 ml de Té Vegetativo de Lurpe Solutions Aplico foliarmente Kelp hidrolizado a 0.25 ml/l Ajustes de LST. Growing strong,very bushy lt gives off a nice skunky smell already. I didnt think she was gonna do really well and than all of a sudden boom your thick and bushy

Taking it slow with the veg state to develop larger, stronger plants and it seems to be paying off. I've trimmed the lower leaves at least 3 times this week. I think I'm going to extend it out at least one more week before switching to flower state. Early in the week I switched from blue to purple to allow the branches to push through the screen more. Then mid-week blue, to rebuild the fan leaves, then back to purple once I rearranged everyone into their optimal positions for capturing light. I see a lot of potential for multiple colas. Each time I switched to purple, I raised the light up a few inches to help them stretch. As noted last week, lamp distance is being measured from top of net (not top of plant). I continue to add compost tea every Tuesday, which they love :-)

I have 2 seeds. One rooted in the water and places in the bucket with soil. The soil is rescued but I added some amendments. The other seed I placed in a Rockwell cube but just started to root.

Alrighty, guys and gals it's another res change and another opportunity to make mistakes haha. All in all, I actually got a lot of helpful advice through the questions forum so a big shout out to anyone that helped with those issues. Unfortunately with the rest of the canopy being somewhat the same height, I decided to leave the lights on 100%. I can't raise them any higher and I just have to better in veg when it comes to keeping the canopy even and encouraging bud sites. I'm super tempted to trim up the top big fan leaves but I honestly am not sure if it would help any at this point in time. I'm looking forward to giving the buds more time to grow though and I'm hoping a surprise myself with a great turnout. I'm still at a loss for when to harvest as far as what to look for with the buds aesthetically. I've heard the trichomes cloudy bit so many times but I guess I just cant tell if I should harvest what's larger done and cloudy then harvest the rest later etc.

I am only using tap water half soil half perlite no nutes no ph or ppm tester £70 led from Amazon.had problems earlier but realised that I had no ventilation so I drilled 3holes and put 2 fans facing backwards and put a air vent in the other and the seem to be loving it

EC: 1.5 Light set from 65% to 70% strength. Did a big defoliation today. (Schwazzing) Removed 141 grams of leaves. 16-4 Temps: 20.6 to 25.8 degrees Humidity: 54% to 66% Watering: 1000 ml. EC: 0.4 17-4 Temps: 18.5 to 23.8 degrees Humidity: 60% to 68% 18-4 Temps: 18.7 to 24.2 degrees Humidity: 56% to 71% Watering: 1000 ml. EC: 0.4 19-4 Temps: 18.4 to 24 degrees Humidity: 54% to 70% Watering: 1000 ml. EC: 0.4 20-4 Temps: 18.3 to 24.2 degrees Humidity: 51% to 71% Watering: 1750 ml. EC: 0.4 Light is at 70% strength with a distance of 37/40 cm. Also installed a stronger exhaust fan as the humidity is getting a bit high.

Amazing experience with the Mix Pack, I will try it again next summer for sure. Love the variety.

📆 Semana 12 La Mentha de Croco entra en su fase final real, Con el lavado de raíces ya realizado, la planta consume sus últimas reservas, afinando al máximo el perfil mentolado y empujando los tricomas hacia su punto óptimo de madurez. Los cogollos mantienen una estructura densa, la resina está más pegajosa que nunca y los tonos ámbar empiezan a marcarse claramente en las zonas más expuestas. 💧 Riego mínimo y controlado, solo para mantener estabilidad hasta el final y dejar que la planta termine de pulir sabor, aroma y efecto. 🌿 Últimos días antes del corte.. Cuenta atrás activada ⏳✂️ ¡Seguimos creciendo fuerte! 💪🔥

Paper towels placed between two dinner plates, placed on heating mat. 48 hours all seeds had tap roots. Placed in solo cups filled with coco loco, and sprinkled a little Great White in the holes. All seeds sprouted with in 36 hours. 76-78 degrees with 80% humidity. 100% Germination - AMAZING! #nomids

7 Diciembre: Se cambiaron las plantas desde la carpa de vegetación(120x120) a la de floración(150x150) en dónde hay más espacio para deshumidificador, ventiladores, etc. Se sigue regando con 6.2pH y 3.0EC. Pronto se agregará una malla scrog. 10 Diciembre: ya hay claros signos de floración, se colocó una primera capa de malla scrog, el riego Generativo va como se planeó, con pequeños runoff llegando a 7EC, esperando subir hasta 10EC, con ese estrés controlado se mantienen las plantas en una altura óptima evitando que estiren mucho. Hasta el día de ayer, las plantas estaban con 5 disparos(riegos) de 200ml cada uno aproximadamente, hasta obtener runoff, hoy sin embargo, habían 2 plantas con "wilting" lo que indica drybacks excesivos, por lo que hoy se agregaron 2 disparos extra, también llamados P1, y 2 mini riegos de 100 ML en la tarde, P2, para evitar el secado excesivo y el decaimiento de las plantas, las cuales están pidiendo más nutrientes. El VPD se mantiene en 1.2~1.4.
