I switched my nutrients to Nectar For the Gods because I didn't have the funds in the beginning to do so. I got their spartan regiment with the extras. Photo-plus and SLF-100 which I use separately and not during feeding. Im watering everyday and feeding every other day. Water days I use SLF-100 and the next water day I use tea with Photo plus. my tea I use bloom by cultured biologics organic easy bloom and compost worm castings from my personal vermicomposting bed. alternating water days with the slf and photo plus was a massive growth in buds. They dense' nd up and just started putting on trichomes. brilliant brand- Nectar! OCGFAM for life now. Feeding is a pain but damn its worth it. Pricy but worth the investment!

[ Information ] For all information on this grow, including strain and room details, please see the first week of veg. [ Updates ] Day 10 - Watered today, 1.2ec feeding of mainly organics (Fulvic/Humic, Kelp, Molasses, Big Bloom) with runoff. 6.8ph. Group one is stretching much harder due to plant density, I will be adding a net soon. Day 13 - Watered today with the nutrients listed for this week. 2.2ec at 6.5ph. 80gals total. Added a small dose of Open Sesame for the first time today as bud sites are starting to form on all plants. Added a net to Group 1 yesterday, I will add the nets for Group 2 in a couple days. Group 1 plants are 38-40 inches, group 2 plants are 32-34 inches. I may adjust net height, this isn't normally how I run a cycle; I'm trying a few different things side-by-side. The "one plant per square foot of canopy" group has consistently shown that even with a short veg period there is far too many wasted growth nodes on the sides of the canopy. The plants around the edge tend to branch out instead of up, as they're naturally trying to find sunlight. My last attempt at using these side branches with heavy topping of the middle nodes resulted in a higher yield, as expected as the light footprint was 5x5 instead of 4x4, which defeats the purpose of "one plant per square foot of canopy" anyways. A better test would have been to stunt the growth of all middle nodes enough to weave the side branches into the main canopy, though this seems to be a waste of time without much gain. I'm much happier with Group 2 which has 1 plant per 2 square feet of canopy space. While it also has side branching, the difference in height at the canopy level of the sides and middles are not nearly as different as Group 1, which means a more even light distribution without the need of a net. As overgrown as the room is getting, they still have 7-8 days before they're defoliated a final time.

Harvest was done on a lovely summer day. Since summer was approaching, half of the harvest was hung upside down with the classic 60/60 and rest is stored in a wine cooler for drying. There鈥檚 also an oscillating fan below for airflow!

Day 85: still flushing her and it starting to show on the leaves. I don鈥檛 want them to disappear because I鈥檓 going to make hash but I鈥檓 still waiting for a plant in the same tent. Have no space for drying so need to cut them all at the same time :/ Day 86: Will cut on Friday! Day 87: switched the lights off until tomorrow. This it the light I鈥檓 using for this grow! Mars hydro SP3000 High PPFD at 2.8 umol/j, average yield at 2.5g/w, increasing your yield 50% or more compared with old blurple and HPS lights, 300 watts output. Dimmer knob added, more convenient to adjust the brightness. Up to 30 lights can be daisy-chained and control together on just one light, or just have one lamp in 120x60 tent is perfect for light. https://www.instagram.com/marshydro_aliexpress2/

The weather has been absolutely pants. Cold and wet and windy. Typical UK 馃槄. Most the girls are into pre flower now and some are showing colour. It鈥檚 difficult keeping all fed especially with the rain but no major drama so far.

Last week was very challenging, two girls got really tall below the white light, while the other two below the blurple spectrum ended up being smaller and bushier, both looking fantastic. Last week I also probably went too far defoliating the shaded smaller girl which stunned it a bit for a day or two but its flowering vigorously again. Although the unexpected stretch which led to uneven light coverage overally the platns are looking solid, smelly and sugary :)
