Day 49 today and the start of an attempt at drought stressing her . The science says to withhold water until a noticable droop on their frame bit rhisnlady is a solid limbed , woody beast so that won't happen the same at all. To counter this I expect around 7 days is all I will push it too so right on point for a final weeks feeding before harvest and ripening. The effect hoped for a is a noticable difference in the thc and oils produced. It sounds similar in move as other methods like stem splitting , taking chunks out as though being threatened by wildlife ect.. but is more in keeping with seasonal changes and auxin changes. I did leave my last crop in the dark for over 7 days drying but didn't benefit too much from that. It is something I have wondered about since reading about it. I pulled the Red Hot Cookie and the Sweet Afghani Delicious as rhe tank took a turn for the worse so took the sensible option. S.a.d is drying but I quick dried the Rhc and had a few nice joints from her. not her full potential but certainly helped me sleep. lol Amnesia haze is mid way through her second pistil flush with plenty of fresh ones backing them up too . Her overall size and bud yield should be even better once they begin to discolour and push even more trichromes from this amazingly sweet and fruity girl. She was the 1st to show hunger issues before i used the megacrop addition so was taking all her stashed nutes . shebhas rewarded me with a very good sized plant that is a star to work with. He buds are rock solid to touch and leave a beautiful smell on my fingers when touched. The trichromes are slowly being hidden by the newer pistil growth but inexpectbsjebwill build on them too. I didnget a day of high humidity when my dehumidifier filled up and switched off. This managed to allow some bud rot onto 1 cola but I caught it early enough to not be an issue now. Performed as advertised, some bud rot bear harvest on #1 but two weeks of fog 8 hours a day will do that. Although in saying that, #2 had zero rot or WPM, so that's pretty impressive considering the season IMO. Harvested after 7 weeks flower, but they were showing reds and wanted to avoid any more issues due to crappy weather. Harvest totals Plant #1. 295g bud and 270g trim Plant #2. 476g bud and 200g trim All fan leaves were removed before drying so trim is mostly sugar leaves packed with THC. Great for hash 👍

Plant took well to topping, mainlining, and heavy defoliation and bounced back right away. Stretched quite a bit during flower and stayed relatively uniform. Could have probably top dressed every 2 weeks instead of 3 and leaf to calyx ratio was also a bit more on the leafy side but still produced some nice buds. Overall an easy grow without any issues.

Hey fellow growers welcome to the start of week 5 of flower!! Things are starting to take shape after the nana scare I’ve been keeping a close eye on the lady’s. There being fed every second day and wanting more as they gain size. All plants are starting to frost up but big bud 2 is at another level with sticky stinky colas. Fingers crossed they will continue to just do what there doing gaining size and frosting up. We did get in there and do the final defoliation a week late but that’s what happens when you work fifo and can’t be here at all times. They will get another feed today. Week 5, days 35-38 Ztrawberry 1 pheno & Damn Sour 2 phenos Both strains are on a very different path. Ztrawberry has been in a bigger pot since the start and after been put in an 11L pot. Wow, she has thrived. She's gotten so big. I've actually decided to flip her. Her nodes are grown and she is fully ready to flip and the process of waiting will be short. I gave her the last grow feed a few days ago. Already still having grow mix as she was moved into a solo pot of grow/light/pebbles 40-40-20 from plagron. She's pushing so hard. There is a few ph issues and a few other stuff. No nutrient defs so nothing that would stop her moving to the next phase. Ztrawberry has been put in 12/12. More pics coming soon from week 4 Damn Sour Both phenos have been stuck in a 2L pot and was only transplanted into each 2L pot. Been giving master root and Enzymes + silica for stress. They've only been put in 2L pots a few days ago. 1 was very stressful as I practically had to pull her up with as much of the roots as possible. They are the sane age as Ztrawberry but they had no space. I will uppot them to 9L pots in a few weeks once the root zone has recovered. I really should have left them and uppoted to a bigger pot. But been so long in that pot. They wouldn't have reached out which is what's happened to my 2 lemon photos I kept too long in a 20L hydro pot. Was really as waste of time by the looks of it. Girls have grown pretty well. I have missed atleast one weeks update. Both have their own citric smell other more grape like and other well more citric 😁

Veg day 36.- Happy girls seeing the sun for the first time. Additional soil mix is same as before. BX promix and perlite 2:1. Additional volcanic ash and worm castings. First watering was generic AB 1/4 strength, Rhizotomic and Mammoth P microbes. PH adjusted to 6.3 300ppm. Veg day 42 - after a week of wind and weather for the first time both seem to be acclimatizing well enough. A squirrel seems to like digging. Any suggestions for critter deterent?

Started the flush for these 2 now! They’re frosting over with so much trichromes and smells quite like citrus haze and sherbet on Aroma! Very interested to see how these buds fatten up! Stay tuned. Hopefully get some decent fades
