######################################### HARVEST (Day 93 / June 4) ######################################### ----------------------------------------------------------- GROW SUMMARY ----------------------------------------------------------- Grown in 4x4 tent - but I only used 2x2 space because of heater and dehumidification and other plants (Outlier Z). This plant used a dedicated CMH 315 light. The plant was grown in hydroponics using a custom single-site PA hydroponics clone RDWC system with Advanced Nutrients Sensi Coco line, Microbial Mass and Orca for beneficials. I also experimented with Rapid start in the RDWC system, but I didn't see explosive root growth relying on Rapid Start as an additive to the system verse using it when starting in rapid rooters which worked well. All around a pretty easy grow and things went very well. Topped twice for a mainline structure and she really spread out. Sparkling golf ball size nugs down the branches and spaced out nicely. The scent off her was like burned rubber/tires or maybe fresh blacktop. A single water change which was only performed when switching to bloom nutrients around week 7. ----------------------------------------------------------- HARVEST ----------------------------------------------------------- No dark period and no flush. On day 93 she was chopped and hung to dry. ----------------------------------------------------------- DRYING ----------------------------------------------------------- Entire plant hung upside down for 15 days. The temps were dialed in at 60F by using the S6 intake fan pulling air from the AC through intake vent on side of the tent. Humidity was dialed in at 63%/60F for 24hr, 62%/60F for the next 48hr. Then 60%/60F for the third day and onward. AC Infinity T6/S6 exhaust and intake fans were on the setting of '2' during drying until day 7, then I could turn down to a setting of '1' once the plants were not transpiring excess moisture. Trimmed on day 18. Then the jars were left open in the tent for another 12 more days for a full 30 day dry at 60%/60F while rolling the jars frequently. Also ran dehumidifier in the tent but it only ran for 1-2 minutes every hour because the AC was doing most of the dehumidification on the intake. ----------------------------------------------------------- TRIMMING ----------------------------------------------------------- Trimming was an absolute breeze. All swelled nuggets, very little sugar leafs left to trim. ----------------------------------------------------------- CURING ----------------------------------------------------------- Flower product was transferred to 1L mason jars averaging 35g of product per jar. I added a mini hygrometer to each jar and chose not to use a boveda this time. The RH averaged 62-64% when trimmed flowers went in jars. Jars were left open in the tent for a total dry time of 30 days from harvest keeping the tent at 60%/60F. Once closed, the jars were burped once a day for the first seven days, once every other day for the next seven days, rolling jars often. The burp was only for 3-5 second for air exchange until a. 62% was maintained in the jar. ----------------------------------------------------------- YIELD ----------------------------------------------------------- * Weight calculated at 62% humidity after 30-day dry and 14-day cure. ============================== FLOWER PRODUCT ============================== 180.41g (6.44oz) ============================== TRIM PRODUCT ============================== 57g (2.03oz) ** All major fan leaves, stems, and branches removed from trim product. ============================== TOTAL OVERALL YIELD ============================== Total: 238.41g (8.51oz) ============================== SPACE YIELD ============================== 238.41g / 4 sqft (2x2 canopy) = 59.60g per sqft ============================== WATTAGE YIELD ============================== 315 Watts / 4 Square Foot (3x4 canopy) = 78.75 watts per sqft. 238.41g / 315 watts = 0.76 grams per watt ----------------------------------------------------------- PRODUCT TEST ----------------------------------------------------------- Bag appeal is top-notch. Trichome covered, with aromas of that unique 'kush' you can quickly identify based on experience. Best OG Kush I've ever tried, hands down! The flavour is kushy, smoke is smooth and definitely my favorite strain in my tote of cured harvests at the moment. I can't keep my hands off of the jars. Definitely not a daytime strain, even for experienced users, although I'll use it in the afternoon when life is throwing curve balls. The effects rise you up, then sets you right down and will wash away all that anxiety after a long day. Put it this way....if I puff a few hours before bed, I still feel it the next morning when I peel my eyes open. No joke. I'll definitely be growing this one again, maybe even next run because I'll be sad when I run out. ----------------------------------------------------------- REGRETS ----------------------------------------------------------- Not running more of this amazing plant. ----------------------------------------------------------- NEXT RUN ----------------------------------------------------------- This was the first run at my new residence so it will take some time to get it dialed in. I had some calibration issues which are now fixed. I'm going to be shooting for 1gram per watt on the next run. ----------------------------------------------------------- FINAL THOUGHTS ----------------------------------------------------------- DarkOwl is the best autoflower I've grown yet. 03/03/25. It’s flip time! Day 1 flower let’s go This runtz definitely gotta have this name because of the candy. Nothin small about this girl. She’s a wild beast. I did use some lst clips on her to move her branches out a bit because her leaves are just huge.. and sticking all over everywhere. I didn’t keep following up with more lst clips as I’ve done with some others this grow. I kinda like her being all wild and doing what she wants. If she could talk she’d say -can’t be tamed! Okay, okay..so she’s skipping watering day today. Her soil is a bit damp still today, so I will wait until tomorrow. If we’re going based off last watering, she will be drinking a bit over a gallon, with run off. I was going to skip watering because I normally feed every other watering, but with as crazy as she’s going, and the fact that she’ll be putting in some extra work now, I’ll be feeding her again. I’ve kind of been showcasing plant #2 most recently just because I feel she is probably more standard in appearance. Plant #1 (Mellow Yellow) was born a pale color and through her life she’s always had yellow new growth, and as she pushed out more growth, the leaves would green, and the next new growth would come out yellow. It’s a crazy sight to see now that the whole top looks yellow. I initially thought something was wrong with her, or her nutrition, but she’s just always been this way, and has grown perfectly fine. I guess we will see if she seems to have any problems in flower. Should be interesting. Oh, and, her feedings/waterings are the same as her sisters. Let’s get ready to see some beautiful buds!

Finally we cut this plant 13 weeks plant, it isn't a 8 weeks plant this is my main complaint about it, the bank should change the information because most of the people select this strains because are "faster".

Week 5 ----- Day 29 ----- Fed 1100ppm at 6.4ph 23 Liters Everything's good. No real updates. Front right Glookies stretched a bit but has stopped. Plants are perfect, couldn't ask for a better beginning to week 5. *Update* Easy day, end of light cycle. 3 new pics. ---- Day 30 ----- Some fun photos today for this easy day. Humidity in basement FINALLY hit 40% this morning. Within 5 days it should be 30-35% residual basement and 45% tent for a good residual humidity. The hand shot has my fingers and palm forward from the bud tip, the bud tip is actually past my hand but it's nearly impossible to get a perfect shot with my arm in the tent and my other one far out trying to take a photo i can't see. The Tropicanna Popcorn nugs are already bigger than my thumb... gonna be fun in 4 weeks to see bud finishing sizes Wedding Cake - Cherry HubbaBubba smell Tropicanna Glookies - Pink Bubblegum with a strawberry like hint peaking through. Tomorrow is feeding. Today is just emptying water from buckets from dehumidifier. *knock on wood* it's easy streak from here on out... 35~ days roughly left. here we grow!! *** Update *** Took some measurements. Wedding cake is monstrous already. Upto 1.5 inch wide, 14inch long (it was longer than the 12" ruler). Popcorn nugs on Tropicanna Glookies already 1inch wide 3 inch long at the top. Beaaautiful. Slow and steady from here on out. ----- Day 31 ----- Beautiful as usual. Fattening up nicely. 1200 ppm 6.4 pH 23 Liters If anyone is wondering why I switched to Blackstrap Molasses I put up the Nutrition Facts.. in 20 grams you have carbohydrates, potassium, Calcium, Iron, B6 Vitamin, Magnesium, Zinc.. and that's only the "significant" nutrients (Human based for that picture) It also contains micro traces of copper and more. pH is quite nice too, with the nutrient regiment i'm on, it finishes itself at 6.4pH so I don't have to manipulate it with pH up/down... Loving everything so far. Humidity in basement was 39% today, SO damn close. Tent closed at lights on (highest residual humidity point) was at 48% ... woo hoo 3% more to go!!! ------ Day 32 ------ Wow. Wedding Cake larger buds I can't even wrap my hand around.. These buds are going to be mooooonstrous. Humidity was under 40% in basement, tent was 48% this morning. Great news for me. Easy day, pretty much standard operating procedures from here on out.. feed, drain dehumidifier, strengthen stems by shaking plants, open/close tents... rinse repeat. Both plants are amazing, great genetics so far regarding bud structure building/plant size. ----- Day 33 ----- 47.5% residual humidity Fed at 1150ppm 6.4pH 23L Everything's perfect, 30~ days left. ----- Day 34 ----- 48% humidity in tent, i'm a happy camper. Everything's perfect. Bulk has started, front right Tropicanna Glookies had double in thickness and diameter top buds of most stems. Wedding cake 14 inch stem I've named Big Bertha. Excited to watch her fatten up on the couch so-to-speak. I'm now on autopilot. Fed yesterday while half asleep, didn't even remember doing it. Thank god I take pics of ppm/pH before every feeding for data. One more feeding this week before week 6 happens tomorrow. This week Liquid Koolbloom ends, KoolBloom Dry begins for maximum bulk on week 6 first feeding (2 days into week 6) ----- Day 35 ----- Last day of week 5!!! Fed at 1150ppm 6.4ph 23L Plants are perfect, humidity is great. Smell is RAMPED up now. Strong candy weed smell.

No deficiencies thus far adding some molasses each feeding 1 tbls per gal water

Hey guys, late into week 5 finally have some time to tend to the gals. It's been almost a week since I last watered them. We had 2 thunderstorms roll in so that kept the ladies quenched but when i went to check them out today most of them were pretty dry. Before I watered them, I topped off the soil level with some more promix hp and started our first topdressing. As usual 2tbs per gal @ 70/30 ratio of 444 to 284. I'm my case 21tbs to 9tbs. After that I water them with 50mL of molassas in 5gal of dechlorinated water with each plant raking about 3L of water. I also defoliated some under growth and to clean up the canopy to allow more light to penatrate prime grow sites. Last week I noticed some fungus gnats flying around, so I put up yellow fly traps with bamboo skewers (best way imo). I also did a preventive maintenance and watered the girls last week with neem oil soil drench to kill off any larvae or eggs that may have been laid. So good so far, as the traps did not have many gnats on them. Other than the usual pm items done, the ladies are taking off quite fast, so I need to stay ontop of things when I can! 4th week of Flower is over. Observing some darkening on the tips of the Yellow Orange. Checked ph of the soil and my nutrient plan again. They seem to be fine. My guess is that it is either some sort of light stress or just a genetic trait. I slightly increased the height of the light. I would hardly believe that it is a day-night temperature difference effect. Let’s see how it goes in the coming weeks. Target VPD is still set to 1,5 with 24 Celcius Target Temp. The plant responded very well to fim it is growing steady I wish I can leave her vegetating for another week but the other plants in my tent are growing at an incredible rate of speed so I have to rise this one in order to catch up with the rest canopy that's why I flip them to flowering schedule 12/12 I have been defoliatin in order to prepare them for maximum light penetration into the canopy for the flowering cycle . Everything is going great the auto flower girls are budding nicely and the other ladies are starting to flower nicely I'm giving alternating nutrients using a few different fox farm nutrient feed charts with my own take on them from notes an suggestions. This is the part that is so enjoyable but so stressful!
