Week 9 has officially started, and she's entering the final phase with some real beauty. Buds are swelling up across the canopy with a thick layer of frost and lots of white pistils still pushing. Trichomes are now clearly visible under magnification with early signs of cloudiness, but no amber yet. The lower fan leaves have started to fade naturally, and I’m starting to see hints of purple coming through on some of the sugar leaves and bracts. I gave her a full-strength compost tea at the end of Week 8 and topped off the auto-watering base to keep her coasting. Temps have been high due to a heat wave, spiking around 88°F, but airflow and moisture have been stable thanks to the dual fan setup and bottom watering. I also added DE to the topsoil to knock back a few gnats and placed sticky traps nearby. No training this week so far, just light tucking and one small defoliation session in the center of the canopy to improve airflow. She's healthy, sticky, and starting to ripen — right on track for harvest in the next couple of weeks.

Starting flushy flushy These are not the biggest buds but they are extremely dense and the citrus smell is intoxicating. This was kind of a unique grow experience the way that I trained this plant. The canopy is even for the most part and good airflow between branches and was very easy to maintain but I believe the yield will be affected due to insufficient lighting, nute burn a little neglect on my part. The quality is on point. Small compact nugs. Heavy trichomes present and the smell is fire. So not a heavy yielder but this lady will impress the senses either way. I tested a nug and was extremely impressed how much the citrusy smell was present with exhale was so refreshing. These are a dream to grow big yield fat buds hopefully nice they just grow big and have a long flowering time I think I had two different phenos one was short and bushy and one was huge and one is really frosty and one is huge budded with little frost they take to basically all training very well did lst extreme lst topping and a bit of bowl training one of the plants was over 6ft too big for my liking they produce very well I think they should yield nicely will be growing this strain again if she smokes as nice as she looks will update when dry ...yield let me down was expecting more lol I think the problem with this grow was I grew too much plant not enough buds couldnt get round to sorting things how I would have liked but happy with the smoke the 297 was shared between 3 so I only have 99g to show dry thanks for reading happy growing guys thanks for following the journey 0

I wanted to title this weeks grow "How Big Are Your Balls? (root balls that is, lol)". I've been wanting to post pictures and video of the root balls for a while now, so today's the day! The temperature has been dropping here, so the plants are getting much less heat stress. In a couple of weeks the temperature should be down into the 60's and 70's during the day and all will be good.
