week 2 of flower, been able to line up compost teas with feeds so they get nutes, nutes, RO+TEA, Repeat. foliar last times this week, I stop spraying anything on week 3! showed how i like to shake them up with the scrog a bit in last vid. I do that to essentially simulate a wind storm, strengthen stalks and roots, also helps reorganizing the canopy as you sorta shake things into place that were bunched up next to neighboring leaves. next week will do a fairly heavy defoliation to allow better airflow around colas

This week, we feed mycorrhizal fungi to the plants and it gets the excellent results. The plants grow extraodinarily.

3/14: Came back from a 4 day vacation to a lot of dry, wilted, dead leaves on Amnesia. Trainwreck is super starved as well. My automatic watering system didn't kick on, and the humidifier ran out of water within 24 hours, so there's that. It may be for the better though, as the PH of the nutrients had risen to 7.5. I tossed that mix, and made another 2 gallons of half strength nutes, molasses and epsom salt. I watered them both to runoff, and now I'll wait for Amnesia to prioritize which leaves she thinks are worth saving, and then I'll defoliate the dead ones. Hopefully trainwreck will just bounce back to green. She needed to be defoliated anyway, so this situation makes it easier for me to find the dead leaves. Edit: Came back to feed the last of the nutes and decided to pluck the crispy goners. I found that pulling the leaf stem downward will make the most dead leaves fall right off, allowing me to test a majority of the leaves and give Amnesia a major haircut. Luckily I left a lot of leaves from prior defoliation, as Amnesia REALLY sucked them dry. 3/15: Amnesia looks no worse for wear than last night. Trainwreck as well. Went ahead and pulled as many dead leaves off Trainwreck as I could. Some leaves were a mix of crispy brown and healthy green, which I think is pretty goofy, so I avoided taking any green fans but removed the crispy ones. The colors of the leaves around the buds are really fun to look at. 3/16: Amnesia is starting to SHED her dead leaves, allowing me to pick the leaves with almost no effort. I tested as many leaves as I could, giving another haircut. I would say this isn't a good thing, but since it's my first grow, I'm rolling with it. As long as Amnesia keeps the buds and its nearest leaves alive, it will slowly grow, albeit stunted. I'm not sure if this condition will cause it to finish sooner, but I'm going to need to watch the trichomes under a microscope every couple of days just in case she's ready for harvest. Trainwreck looks about the same as it did before. No new leaves are ready to be removed there yet. 3/19: Amnesia is still shedding leaves, but also bulking up. Trainwreck is slowly bulking up, and turning purple as well! Going to keep an eye on Amnesia's trichomes. Edit: because amnesia is yellowing so much, and because it's been 5 days, I'm going to feed both plants a quarter strength nutrient mix just in case I've been overfeeding them somehow.

End of week 3/Day 27: ive been flushing alot before giving nutrients to the plant and it seems to be working, plant health is slowly improving again! Started LST a few nights ago and my plant has lost its christmas tree shape :'D the canopy is more flat and more light is getting to all growth on the plant so im happy! I started giving some rhizotonic near the stem to help with the plant being stressed. it definitely helped make big roots too! So excited to try some buds! another month or so yet :) Day 28 - 20/10/19 LST is amazing! i have almost all the growth getting a decent amount of light! im going to enjoy shaping the plant over the next week or so! Day 31 - 23/10/19 Still doing a light LST, most of the canopy is getting enough light now and the main stem is still growing more nodes. After getting some advice from a grower with the same model of light as me i now know i can hang my light a lot closer to the plants. im going to get rope rachets hooked up in the next week so i can adjust hang height. I also got an indoor chilli starter kit and planted jalapeño, cayenne and habanero seeds in some nice small terra cotta pots :) and i posted a few pictures to show the setup :) just cant wait until the whole tent looks more like a garden hahah :) 12 hours later - Added a video to show progress Day 32: 24/10/19 woke up this morning and the quick one grew upwards out of the LST :) the top has developed and looks more like an industrial weed plant now which is really exciting! ive been following a water schedule and accidentally gave a few more hours of rest to the plants last night and they have stopped drooping more or less. Re-lst'd the plant so all growth is receiving light and measured the space between the plant and grow light. its about 60cm/24Inches away which will do fine. Quick one is 18cm with LST, if i measure the stem itself its about 21-22cm tall - about 9 inches. Other than that the chillis will take up to 2 weeks to germinate, ive been keeping the moisture up around them with a mix of Rhizotonic/Water (1ml/1L) and also sprayed some on the soil as ive found it actually helps seeds germinate quicker with more strength or life in them. Will update soon for week 5 and considering the smoke is so bad in my town you get an urge not to smoke it i am so excited to be near the finish line :) roll on medicine!

Alien OG Autoflower grew great, and finished beautifully. Strong smell, frosty, and sticky. She grew great under the Mars Hydro FC4800 light. It was my first time using the Gen 1:11 nutrients. I really like them, and will use again till I run out or get more. She will hang dry 24 hours then be put into the cannatrol for a 8 day cycle. I got a great grow to try it out the first time. 🤞. It was finally time to harvest her, what good times we had with her. Amazed with how beautiful this plant is, how easy to manage and train and how rewarding Orange Hill Special is. So we said our thanks and goodbye, thanked her for all the joy she gave while growing her. I realize more and more how I love growing them even more than the end-product. It takes my mind of all going on for a while, in my miniature jungle world in the attic. Im sure all of you just sometimes sit there and watch them, in wonder, dreaming away with a good buzz on, watching them wave in the wind of the fans. So with a heavy hart I apologize, play them their last music, sit with them and feel them and smell them, watch the glistening of the cristals. In the end we had 209 gram dried Orange Hill Special, I will know the total of the grow, in a few days, since the final big whopper still has to dry: my XtraKush, be sure to check the harvest of that one *in couple of days) and see a one-dollar seed outperform two 10 dollar seeds. Well , these girls are just massive 😂 I seriously have never saw this amount of growth in such a short time honestly 😂 When I'm putting the height of the plants I'm measuring from the bottle of the soil to just above and what I like to call gestimating as its beyond difficult to measure so sorry about that in advance guys 👎🏼 I wish I had an amazing camera so you guys can fully see the extreme crazy growth amongst the canopy ! Had to give the girls another major trim As those fan leaves where multiplying , twisting and knotting and doing some crazy 💩 Haha😂 Now we have been in limbo with what to do with regards to the scrog , everytime we decide something we end up doing the opposit so just going to take it week by week, as you can see from the middle of the canopy those stems have been wrapped round the full tent nearly and still popping right up, so put them back under which I was initially not going to do but yeh lol! Still using cellmax nutrients a,b and flower... Feel like I should stop haha. Highly rate them guys the growth with this grow compared to last is outstanding!
