Limez Hello everyone :)
Unfortunately, only 2 out of the 5 Toronjaz ladies made it... but that was also due to problematic soil, which we'll have to see about. Humidity was at 70-90% and the conditions were good overall.

Limez I enjoyed the growth again, but one of the two has a fungus gnat infestation. I think the leaves curled up because of that, but of course, I can't know for sure. It shouldn't be the soil, since the sister plant has handled everything super well.
Both were topped as I want to SCROG both. They will be topped another 2-3 times to maintain a consistent area in the tent.
P.S.: The light is dimmed to 65%=170W at a distance of 40-50cm.

Limez One of the two had either fungus gnat problems, and the resulting root damage led to over-fertilization. We'll see in the next week. The other one is doing well, though. Cheers!

Limez Hello everyone, one of the Toronjaz is unfortunately having problems and is over-fertilized. The other one has the exact same soil, but it's doing great. I've topped it twice and tied it down. I want to fill the tent with 2-3 plants.
Best regards

Limez Fertilization has been done since the tent is getting fuller and we're approaching the flowering stage. I added 55g per pot (19L) and mixed the fertilizer into the top layer of soil and then watered. Everything went well and the two ladies are literally exploding right now. Flowering will start next week and a little defoliation will be done to expose some shoots. However, I only removed 3-4 fan leaves per plant; the major defoliation will take place at BT21 (08/10).

Limez Dude, we are now in the first week after the switch to 12/12. The fungus gnats are completely gone, except for 3-4 survivors, but we'll manage that too. The stretch is in full swing and it's getting pretty tight in the tent. I also have a Jamaican Pearl in the tent behind the Tropicozz, but it's not that big and is in 3.5L. I'll move it to a friend's tent when it's time to harvest. The Jamaican Pearl actually has 2-3 weeks longer flowering than the Toronjaz and the TropicOzz. Defoliation will be on 08/10 (BT21).
Cheers, Limez

Limez I'm currently satisfied with the development. I can hardly wait for the defoliation because there are really a lot of leaves, and my one fan barely moves everything. A second fan is coming in tomorrow, and also my dehumidifier, then we should get the VPD in the right direction for flowering. I'm very curious about what else is coming. PS: The ScrOG net is also going in, then it will look a bit more organized and everything will get plenty of light.
Cheers, Limez

Limez Hello everyone, today was BT 20 and it was time for defoliation or lollipopping. I removed almost all the popcorn buds and leaves from the lower third to improve air circulation. I held back a bit on the top but still exposed quite a few new shoots. I will keep an eye on it in the coming days and possibly remove some individual leaves.
Today, I watered them all again with Hesi SuperVit (amino acid booster) and the Greenhouse enhancer.
The SanLight is now running at 80% (212 Watts) with a distance of 30-40 cm.
Humidity is at 50-55% and the temperature is at 24-25°C, which results in a VPD of 1.15 kPa, so optimal for the current stage.
Best, Limez
P.S: In the last pictures, on the left are the two Toronjaz, the small one in the middle is the Jamaican pearl, and on the right is the tropicozz.

Limez Hello everyone, we took some pictures with the camera yesterday and I was really amazed at how many trichomes were already on the sugar leaves. Here we mainly photographed the tropicozz. Flowering started on 07/19, so today is BT 26-27. Watering was done yesterday, I need to check the humidity, it was at 65-70% yesterday. Everything else looks good :)
Cheers, limez

Limez Hello,
currently, the buds are getting thicker and continue to grow. The smell reminds me of Capri Sun orange x TicTac Orange x Skittles and is really delicious. I occasionally trim away some leaves that cover important spots, but otherwise, not much is happening. The light is currently running at 85% (225W) with a distance of 35-40cm. The temperature and VPD are also great right now, optimal for the mid/late flowering phase.
Best, Limez

Limez Everything is going great, no problems, and the smell keeps getting better. Watering is done every 2-3 days, about 3-4L per plant. The smell is intense and smells like orange / fox salad. Today (08/29) marks the end of the sixth flowering week. According to the breeder, there are still 3 weeks until the ladies are ready. Cheers, Limez
The smell and frost were quite nice, but the behavior of the leaf towards Calyx unfortunately did not appeal to me. One could possibly grow it again, but it's not necessary. Maybe in a few years I'll do a pheno hunt when I've tried out a few of the strains.

Limez Unfortunately, I had big problems with fungus gnats that ate away at the roots. This led to the pre-fertilized soil being too strong, and I had strong signs of over-fertilization, which extended the veg stage significantly. Also, only 2 out of 5 seeds germinated (with other strains at the same time, I had 2/2 and 3/3).
@XII_XII_MrGreen, thanks mate. Yeah I am happy that it isn’t only one big plant like last year. Hoping to fill everything up and getting some delicious buds :)
