Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. And hello to you who read my diary, I just want to say that I am pleased that you have chosen to check in with me and in my diary. I do this for myself and for a steady flow of my medicine. Everything you read and see in my diary is 100% honest and I will never distort or beautify anything here. I document my crops so that I can learn from my mistakes and also to look back at those different crops. I try to update with pictures every day and with text if something special has happened in the garden. This is my strainhunt for the best medicine and the beginning of my journey with cannabis and the cultivation of it. This is my second feminised cultivation ever. First, I'm just going to say something about my grow room. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps for bloom. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable environment in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. I will grow completely organically in soil and will watercure my buds to get the best possible medicine for me. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This new strain combines two well-received parents, Juanita la Lagrimosa (Spanish for "Juanita the Tearful") and Royal Highness, which are themselves genetic hybrids of other precursor strains: Juanita the Tearful from Queen Mother and a Mexican-Afghan blend; Royal Highness from Dance Hall and Respect 13. On and on the strains date back in agricultural time, each new variety with its own unique smell, taste, color, high and medical benefit. However, in the past decade, a goal of all this tinkering has been what some producers are starting to call “Royal Respect” with the soul of marijuana's benefits going toward both body and mind. Painkiller XL is notable for its near-equal representation of 6 percent tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and 7 percent cannabidiol (CBD), achieved by a seed that's 70 percent sativa and 30 percent indica. While the sativa variety of cannabis is widely known for producing more of a mental, cerebral high, and indica has a reputation for contributing more toward its physical high, other factors are more important to consider: THC is the compound given most of the credit for that head high, with CBD takes the credit for marijuana's many proven medicinal benefits, which range vastly from relieving pain, anxiety, migraines, fibromyalgia and even mad cow disease to easing many of the most deleterious symptoms of AIDS, diabetes, epilepsy and Parkinson's disease. These are just a handful of the dozens of ailments marijuana is being prescribed to combat by doctors across the globe and in more than a dozen U.S. states. Cooperatives at medical marijuana dispensaries have been at the forefront of providing CBD-rich cannabis buds and oils for their patients, who undoubtedly appreciate being able to purchase the strain best-suited to ease their particular ailments. This new strain joins others rich in both CBD and THC like Euphoria, Royal Medic, Medical Mass and Danceworld that seek to actually not necessarily downplay cannabis' psychoactive effects in favor of optimizing its healing role, but instead equalize the two. According to the California-based Steep Hill Cannabis Analysis Laboratory, this equalization brings to the cannabis user not just the physically healing aspects, but also the spiritually and psychologically healing benefits as well. There are other strains with very little THC and more CBD than Painkiller XL , but rare are such splendid balances. Producers of this strain say it produces a considerable amount of pain relief, with a mild, relieving mental euphoria. With a flowering time of eight weeks, the Painkiller XL seed can produce 525 to 575 grams per plant indoors. Inside, the dried yield is 400 to 450 grams per plant. Inside, the plants average in height at about 31.5 inche (80 cm); outside, the average height is about 53 inches (135 cm), with harvest time at the end of September. During the first period of flowering they seemed a little bit slowed down..Now they're starting to swell pretty good! :D Atami products work very well!

On the grow itself, I just got twice as much yield with 1/3 fewer plants by switching to coco and CocoTek, I would count that a win. Zero stress so I was right, grow them without stress and you will be rewarded. Just the easiest best smelling little plant to grow. Always germs well and produces long as you treat her right. she grows strong and healthy. their daylight hours are not always right. that is why I think flowering was lengthened. I have to take her out of her tent outdoors because it is difficult for me to enter and take good photos..

12-16-2024 - Plants continue to do well. Found some rust spots on several of the leaves for the Granite Runtz...could be a bit of over-feeding as I top dressed recently despite being on Grow Dots...not too worried about it though. These guys are drinking like crazy so there is plenty of time between feedings where they're getting a little flush action. I'm going to guess that we're about 3-5 weeks out from chopping these down and I'm impressed with their size so far. Now I'm really just waiting for the buds to continue developing and see what kind of size we can put on these gals. This grow has gone unbelievably well and I feel like I have the tent dialed in pretty good. More to come! 12-17-2024 - Well this morning the girls got a bath in Recharge and Sweet Berry. They were very thirsty! The nuggs on these plants are getting massive and I'm expecting to see branches start to struggle to carry the load. At this point I'd say they're probably 3-4 weeks out from chop...but that is a very loose estimate. I'll keep a close eye on them as we go. Having so much fun watching these girls grow huge. CANNOT wait to weigh these things dry. I really think I'm gonna be close to a pound with this tent. 12-19-2024 - Got some nutrient burn going on with the Granite Runtz...just the top leaves and other than some orange speckles on the leaves the flowers look good and overall the plant looks healthy. The GR's have by far the thickest/most dense flowers of the three. The Frosted Cherry O's look very balanced and is the most attractive plant in the tent. The Mystery Seed, which is the only one I topped, is just growing in every direction and has tons of flowers but is clearly behind the rest in terms of maturity. I'd say in a few days to a week it'll be much thicker. Today I watered each plant with 3 Liters of dechlorinated tap water PH'd to 6.5. I'll take a look at them on Saturday morning and see how dry they are. Basically they're drinking a half gallon of water per day. Probably 4 weeks out from harvest is my best guess right now.

Welcome to week 12 of my grow diary. There's not much new this week. The plant is growing as it should and is slowly starting to stretch. I have increased the watering quantity to 10 litres as the soil dries out too quickly. Unfortunately, my nettle slurry has now been used up. The stem is now 3cm wide. See you next week ✌️

Since they are autos, I topped them once to give me 4 colas. I’m a 4 cola type of guy for now. Beginner!

What we saw through the early weeks was a balanced hybrid behavior—but now, in full flower, they are clearly leaning into a more sativa-style expression. Vertical stretch held longer than expected, apical dominance is evident, and the architecture speaks for itself: a strong central spear with secondary sites orbiting around it. No unnecessary stress, no over-handling—just guidance. This allowed the plants to self-organize into efficient light-capturing structures. ⸻ 🌸 White Hairs (Pistils) — What’s Happening Now At this stage, the explosion of white hairs is the plant fully committing to reproduction. These pistils are not just visual markers—they are active receptors, designed to catch pollen. In our case (sinsemilla), they remain unpollinated, which triggers the plant to keep pushing energy into flower production. That’s why you’re seeing: • Rapid formation of bud sites • Increased stacking along branches • Fresh, bright white pistil growth at the tips This is peak “build phase” energy. As long as pistils stay white and vibrant: 👉 the plant is still actively growing flowers, not finishing them. ⸻ ✨ Trichomes — The Beginning of Resin Production Now we enter the real magic. Trichomes are the plant’s chemical defense system—tiny resin glands that protect against pests, UV, and environmental stress. But for us, they are also the carriers of: • Cannabinoids (THC, CBD, etc.) • Terpenes (aroma & flavor) At week 6 flower, what we’re seeing is: • First full coverage forming on sugar leaves • Early frost development on calyxes • Sticky texture beginning to build Right now, most trichomes are still clear → early cloudy, meaning: 👉 potency is developing, but not yet at peak. This phase is about production, not ripening yet. ⸻ 🌬️ The Room — Same Recipe, Bigger Presence Nothing changed… and everything changed. We kept the environment stable because the plants told us they were happy: • 🌡️ ~26°C • 💧 ~60% RH • 💡 Strong, consistent light But the room itself evolved: • Bigger biomass • Denser canopy • More transpiration • More microclimates forming inside the canopy That’s why this week’s move was key: 👉 selective defoliation (room-focused, not plant stress) We opened airflow channels, improved light penetration, and reduced moisture traps. This isn’t about removing leaves—it’s about guiding the environment through the plant mass. ⸻ Nutrition — Feeding the Demand At this stage, the plant is no longer asking—it’s demanding. —SETUP— .BOSSLED LED 1800W full spectrum, real power consumption is +-250W. .Grow space 60X100X200(a simple shower box. .AN nutes and other simple additives. .Grow medium is 60% peat, 30% perlite, 10% organic correction(worm castings), 5 gallon fabric pots(18l). —BRIEF— Hi there, I have tried already done this genetic outdoors, in poor lighting and a general purpose nute from Neudorff, yielded 25g dry, in 3gallon pots same medium. So this is a good experiment, lets see indoors how she will compare. —GERMINATION— My germination process always start by scarifying the seeds, i created a little tool for that. I just a little container with sandpaper walls. Shake gently for about 60 secs+, this allows for the water to penetrate better in the seed shell, once you soak. Then i soak overnight from 12 to 20 hours max. From there i either plant straight or use the paper towel method to see the tap root before. If you are a bit on the impatient side seen the tap root is advisable so you see some movement before planting. Lol! —ROYAL QUEEN SEEDS . QUICK ONE . INFO — Chose this strain because is basic and I have to travel for a month soon, and someone else is going to take care for this time. :) Quick One is a fast-growing autoflowering strain. This was one of the first autoflowering strains developed. When it was first released, it was one of the quickest growing strains on the planet. THC: 13% CBD: Low Yield Indoor : 275 - 325 gr/m2 Yield Outdoor: 100 - 150 gr/plant Height Indoor: 50 - 60 cm Height Outdoor: 60 - 100 cm Flowering: 5 - 6 Weeks Harvest month: 8-9 weeks after sprouting Genetic Background: Strong Indica x Ruderalis Type: Sa 10% In 60% Ru 30% Effect: Physical Climate: Mild —RQS QUICK ONE GERMINATION UPDATE— My mood said to me to plant straight, so scarify > soak 18 hours +- > plant straight. Seedlings look a bit odd, with a yellow center, let's give her some days in and see what happens next.
