Day 67, new grower mistake: been flushing for roughly 3 weeks+, backed of the nutrients when the light burn started weeks ago because of fear of stunting the plant, noticed the fall colors starting 2 weeks and figured I would be close enough to harvest but unfortunately I was wrong. This LSD just wants to keep growing; still throwing out new white hairs with almost 60/40 orange to white hair ratio, and mostly cloudy trichomes but not too many Amber. In a perfect world I'd let it go another 1-2 weeks, but going into the 4th week of flushing, the dead leaves are getting too close to the main colas for my liking, I decided to do a partial harvest of the main top colas, and lower my lights a few inches to hopefully beef up the smaller buds that have been further from the light and are further behind then the main colas . I now know the importance of checking trichomes before starting flush and understanding the need for nutrients all the way through flower.

Welcome again 🙂          Finally, after about 40 days, I am ready to post the real harwest of these two spectacular Cookies Kush🍪🌱..                                                     It is a wise cross between the famous GIRL SCOUT COOKIES (known today as GSC) × a very powerful phenotype by OG Kush,named ROLLEX OG KUSH..        Cup winner🏆                  I have already posted the harwest of another CK grown with the same organic fertilizers, but in a smaller pot, about 7l geotexil..      I divided the diaries because initially I had planned to grow them differently one from the other..    In the end, however, the only difference lies in the pot, 20l geotextile for these two..   I already say that I have very little negative for this strain..    Its vigor and its resistance are impressive..      Added to the fact that it is a type of plant relatively simple to follow and in addition with a final yield in terms of both quantity and above all qualitative, I can only recommend it to everyone..    If you love Kush it is definitely a must try👌..   But let's get to the facts..    I reported weekly with precision everything that happened, therefore I invite those who want to learn more about going to review the various weeks🤗..   Unfortunately I have not posted the first because I was on vacation by the sea, discovering the best cannabis clubs on the Canary Islands😎🌊..   The first three weeks have grown inside a classic plastic pot for just over 1l..   Later I transplanted them into another plastic pot of about 4l.. Shortly after the second transplant, some very "nice" thrips decided to break the balls🧐..   I had never seen so many together and the situation in few days was going out of control..   I'm always reluctant in the using   of products to combat insects or pest , but this time I was forced to use neem oil mixed with about 1/5 of potassium soap..     Apart from some survivors the thrips disappeared, at a high price though.. The plants in only 36 hours after the treatment they had a phytotoxic reaction to neem oil.. The leaves seemed to be bitten by animals, not earthworms or the like🦌🐛🐌..      After a few hours, the situation was getting worse.. I found myself unprepared for what was happening..   But I thought the best solution was to remain calm and understand how to best cope with the situation🧘‍♂️..    I think I have prayed an indefinite number of times to try to resolve the situation⛪🕌🕍🕋🙏.. After a few days the symptoms of intoxication seemed to have subsided..   The two girls still continued their growth process🌿..      After a couple of weeks I took them to their accommodation final, a 20l geotextile pot..    As a base substrate I used a mix composed largely of light-mix of biobizz + coconut always from the biobizz and in addition a little humus to improve the characteristics of the soil..     In the soil it was already present in good quantity also perlite..                                                            Once I created the hole in the ground, I placed mycorrhizas (MICOSAT F) directly in contact with the roots.. Theoretically I carry out an action in about five weeks..  Shortly after the transplant I gave by leaf , using a pump sprayer, a little bit of fish emulsion (Fish-mix + Acti-vera of biobizz)..   And the girls appreciated a lot by continuing to grow and produce foliage vigorously..   Unlike their sister minor, given the large amount of vegetation, I felt the need to defoliate a bit.. I must say that this strain responds very well to this practice👍👍..  Seeing the vigor of growth I decided to also make a topping on both..   Also in this case the genetics of these plants has demonstrated its strength by continuing to grow as if nothing f bones..                                   I was doing a little lst but very roughly, almost for fun..   The final result, once in bloom, was fantastic😍..    Fragrant and tasty buds at the head of each branch..                    As you can see in the photos over the various weeks, the phenotypes emerged were two..                              One low and with light green colored leaves with a good production of resinous buds..                                                  The second one has practically tripled its height🌳                                                      The leaves in mid-bloom have started to be tinged with a truly spectacular red-violet color..  Full of buds entirely on the branches,like mostly  Sativa strain..                                                               An incredible resin production and very dense and super fragrant flowers.. Compared to the Cookies in the 7l pot, neither of them had an evidently mint scent.. But then I was happily surprised to find it in the flavor, especially in the purple-red phenotypes..  The structure of the buds is another of the things that have me and make me fall in love with this strain..   A true work of art🎨🌿🙌..                                            Thanks Barney's🙏..    The amount of trichomes and the aroma is truly exceptional🔝               The final weight of the flowers is divided as follows..                 40g for the purple-red phenotype 21g for the lower one                                                                           The total weight calculation was done after about 40 days of care, with the flowers cleaned in the best possible way, therefore without leaves or parts of the stem..   Also I did not take into consideration the popcorn buds, which I will probably use to make edibles.. As a growth light I used a 205w LED panel of the Black-dog brand, apart from two weeks in the vegetative phase where they were always illuminated by LEDs but of another type, much less powerful and efficient, but which however they did their job..   Speaking of nutrients..  This time I used the greenhouse biobloom powder (70g equally divided between the two of them and the younger sister in the "Cookies on the Kush" diary) for the flowering phase + biobizz biobloom about twice +bio heaven twice + biomagno biomass twice + unsulphured molasses + banana macerate made by me, a couple of times topmax from biobizz and finally at the beginning and halfway through flowering I always gave them an enchancer of green house..   Growing organic and having a water pH always between 6.5 and 7 , 5, I never bothered to check / regulate it.. And everything went well👌..   Towards the end of flowering, especially the larger of the two, it suffered a little overwatering, but nothing to worry about..                                                                              Despite being different phenotypes, I still gave them the exact same quantities of water and fertilizer..  About taste and effect..  The flowers of both had more or less the same aroma, sweet, slightly earthy with some notes of mint in the distance..    Personally my favorite is the one with the violet-red leaves and I think it is the best phenotype of all three, also considering the one in the other diary..  The amount of resin is more or less similar,also the tate too.. The first test was carried out using two vaporizers (mighty and ghost mv1)..  With both I was on temperatures between 180 ° and 195/200 °..  Later, as you can see in the video, I also carried out a test in smoke. Obviously only grass from top to bottom, about 0.7 / 0.8 in a joint..   Organic papers and filter, without glue😉👍..  After drying for 7 days with a whole plant, two days on a branch by branch net, two further days in brown paper bags , and a careful care of about three weeks the flowers, remained hermetically closed for another 20 days in the jar, were perfectly soft and crunchy, going to burn to perfection leaving on the palate a delicate flavor and a velvety smoke both incoming and outgoing.. I think strongly that this is the most important phase where the skill and attention to detail of the grower comes to light😊..   I personally think If the strain is from a competent and serious seed bank, the cultivation phase should simply be a help to grow on the part of the grower..   Once the plant has been cut, it all depends on us..  Patience and constant attention are the two key points🗝️👃👁️..  Going back to the flowers💐.. Going too far on the flavor and effect I think it leaves a little time because it is two very subjective factors..   Honestly, to say that it tastes like real cookies no I can't really🍪🤔..    But one thing is certainly☝️.. The taste is exceptional🤩😍..   Sweet and spicy with earthy notes and something else that I don't recognize..  Kush certainly as a base, but very complex..             Predominantly relaxing effect..   It acts on the body relieving tension, perhaps for someone it can be too relaxing💆‍♂️😴..                                              "I'm a kush guy", and I love what they give💚..    I would use it safely at any time of day, but it is very suitable for the second half of the afternoon onwards.. The joint are only weed, raw organic papers and filters, without glue 😉👌.. At both ends I used the low and light green pheno.. Centrally the red-purple pheno.. The three joints were ignited once and continued to burn evenly until the end.. Halfway through I decided to smoke one alone (the middle one) and the other two together.. Well the middle one (pheno violet) was the tastiest one😋.. In the photos you can also see how much oil is present around the base of the hottest point.. Kush effect, very relaxing, but not necessarily that you can't do anything anymore.. Very mental relaxation.. Top Kush🏆.. Did some tie down on the side branches to help with light penetration. When I touch her, she gives off a amazing lemon sweet fuel smell, very intoxicating can't wait to cure it. Hairs are starting turn. She has been loveing a 6.8- 7 ph as well. Had a healthy feed. Added norish-L (humic acid). @ 2 drop/L

These are the last pics I have from the grow. There are 3 more from the police press release but I won't upload them here. To sum up, 5x Big Bang on DWC(4 inside the 1.5x1.5, 1 inside the 0.6x0.6) 1x Gorilla Glue on DWC 1x Green Crack on DWC 4x Big Bang on soil 1x Green Crack on soil. Out of 10 Big Bang seeds the 9 sprouted. (90% Rate) 3 Green Crack Seeds, the 2 sprouted 2 Gorilla Glue seeds, 1 sprouted. total harvest is 113+72=185g from 2 Big Bang plants on DWC. The rest were never harvested. I have to take note on the fact Big Bang could manage to carry its weight. Green Crack and Gorilla Glue had to be tied up cause they just couldn't manage it!. Good job on that GreenHouse Seeds. The life lessons learned from this experience. #1 : Do not bite off more than you can chew (or less is more) #2: Do not trust anyone. #3: Mother Nature gave us cannabis in rather low-THC content and sun for growing it. All the current strains and techniques of growing indoors are a product of human greed wanting more and more and more...I don't want to support this anymore, I'd rather stick to a few landrace seeds picked up from some old stoners and growing guerilla instead. Many might disagree with me on that, but come on guys, who can go against nature if not The One who gave it to us?

05/27/2021 Its been a while but all is well, the red light only seems to have encouraged lots of new growth. But I think I'm going to stick with 25-50% blue spectrum and 100% red for the finish. I'm kind of disappointed that she has no distinguishing smell, but she was bred for resistance to PM specifically. All the good stuff will come once i have stabilized consistent PM resistance. (Work in progress) Then the good stuff will be worked in..... If needed. Ps. I do believe it will likely be 12+ weeks of flowering to finish (Hope she has a racy/trippy sativa side) fingers crossed🙏

Last week I realized that topping off the rez with full strength nutrient water had upped my ppms to 2000, and Ph to almost 7 I mixed a fresh batch of 10ml and saw ppms in the 1700 range, so I watered it down to 1200, 8 ml/gal is just an estimate this week unfortunately. I added 2.5 ml/gal big bud day 1 week 3 afternoon, Ppms should coming in at 1300 I finally got an accurate height measurement, and given the plant distance decided to turn the light power down to 60%, which should be around 120-130 watts, which is plenty for a 2x2 Did a water change week 3 day 1, used a transfer pump and it was fairly easy, just took a while More pistils are starting to show up now I've decided to start measuring ppm/ph as both creeped up too high last week. I cant vouch for how well ph perfect nutes work when changed weekly as directed, but they cant go 2 weeks without being measured and adjusted, and at full strength, Im sure they would burn plants. Day 2: ppms held steady at 1350 overnight, ph is at 5.8-5.9 New growth was showing very early signs of light burn, (pale leaf tips up top, tips not pointing down) so I turned light to 50% power, mounted it straight to my top tent supports, and bent the tops that showed signs of stress. Day 3: Ppm's still holding steady as water level goes down, so this may be the sweet spot for now. Bud sites are stacking now Selectively defoliated to get light deeper into the canopy
