I switched her to flowering. After returning from my Holiday I decided I would be moving cities. I wanted to veg her longer but switched the bulbs at 8 weeks. I am finally able to sleep in the dark! This rocks! Ive also been removing a lot of the excess leaf growth just to keep her fresh and not too crowded. The cardboard screen was removed and I used 4 chopsticks to press down on the lower branches and press the tops a little further apart; This really helped to space the branches out wider and allow light to breakthrough on some of the lower nodes. I started feeding her a little bit of molasses in her water, just to aid in the flowering. I also added wood ash to the top layer before watering. Also a little compost tea every now and then.

This is my first grow getting back into it after a 25 yr absence.

📆 Semana 7 La Grease Monkey está en modo bestia esta semana. Los cogollos han seguido engordando con fuerza y cada vez se ven más densos y cubiertos de resina. Las flores principales ya empiezan a tener ese aspecto compacto y brillante que promete potencia, mientras que las hojas cercanas están totalmente salpicadas de tricomas, como si las hubieran rociado con azúcar glas. La alimentación sigue basada en XpertNutrients, sin cambios drásticos. Solo he ajustado mínimamente las proporciones para no frenar el ritmo que lleva. El riego sigue afinado al detalle: lo justo para mantener activa la microbiota del sustrato y evitar saturaciones. Los Adlite continúan haciendo un trabajo brutal. La penetración lumínica está ayudando a que incluso los cogollos de las zonas medias e inferiores mantengan una buena densidad. Todo el dosel está funcionando como una unidad, lo que se traduce en una floración muy equilibrada. Las condiciones ambientales siguen bajo control: 22-25 °C de temperatura, y humedad en torno al 55%. Estoy reforzando la ventilación para prevenir cualquier susto ahora que los cogollos empiezan a cerrarse más. El aroma se está volviendo todavía más intenso: una mezcla cremosa, dulce y con ese fondo diésel que le da el toque agresivo típico de esta genética. Los tricomas siguen lechosos en su mayoría, con alguna señal de maduración incipiente, pero aún no es momento de pensar en tijeras. Crecimiento firme, flores con presencia y resina a punta pala… ¡Seguimos creciendo fuerte! 💪

Hi guys!!🌱 It´s been a while since I posted an update so here we are with my baby Runtzies update from 31.01.2025🏼 She´s growing really well, having some huge leaves, I had to remove two of them, as you can see (see pics). She´s healthy and that's all that matters🍀🍬 (Ive been watering her in the past days with only regulated water and not that much- just about 70-100ml I think. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 🍬🍀 W E E K 3 🍀🍬 ✨31.01.2025- It was feeding day for Runtzies🍴 I gave her some more nutrients from BioBizz and PLAGRON. It was also the first time I cut some leaves from the top. ✨04.02.2025-So it´s time for another big update inhere! Last time I watered her (about two days ago) I just wanted to let her grow an didn't think too much about it... yeah I was just more than shocked the moment I took that pot in my hand- I saw little stigmas showing up there✨ She also stretched a lot! She´s about 19cm now. To be honest I don't know if that´s on me or just her living her life. That´s my 2nd plant that's going on that fast. I´m not really concerned tho- would rather say happy So today I decided to water her a bit more, I progressed about 500-600ml with good feeding in there. I also cut the first 2 branches off. Week 6 of Flower, 2 out of the 3 phenos are doing good (other is ok but really airy buds) the Mango Merengue has smaller bud formation then most strains i've grown. But they are really frosty and put out a strong odor, It has a sweet citrus smell and sort of smells like a Cantaloupe. Probably around another 3 weeks untill harvest.

2nd week of transition in the books and development has been advanced and remains very vigorous. Had to pull out one more plant that was showing balls and we’re now down to a total of 6 plants of the original 10. Regardless the scrog net has filled in substantially while the canopy remains airy and light in terms of overall foliage space. The mains have been tied to the net over 2 or 3 rounds of bending and training to allow the lower side branches opportunity to catch up to the same rough height. No deficiencies and we’ve now apparently found the sweet spot for nutrient ratios. Everything remains on point and we’re mostly on auto pilot to the finish now. Alls good!
