🌱 Week 3 | Passion Fruitz | Small but Full of Potential Not every plant develops at exactly the same pace, and that’s one of the most enjoyable aspects of growing from seed. This Passion Fruitz may be a few days behind some of her neighbours, but she continues to develop steadily while displaying all the characteristics of a healthy young plant. Rather than trying to force her to catch up, the goal is simply to provide stable conditions and allow her genetics to dictate the pace. Every phenotype has its own rhythm, and learning to respect that natural variation is part of becoming a better grower. The environmental conditions remained stable throughout the week, giving every plant the same opportunity to thrive. Daytime temperatures averaged 27°C, with nighttime temperatures around 25°C. Relative humidity stayed close to 55%, while the root zone remained at 21°C and the nutrient solution at 20°C. Nutrient pH was maintained at 6.0, EC increased slightly to 1.3, atmospheric CO₂ averaged approximately 666 ppm, and lighting continued under the 12/12 From Seed schedule with approximately 600–700 PPFD at canopy level. This week’s feeding remained focused on establishing a strong root system while encouraging healthy vegetative development: • Terra Grow — 1.8 ml/L • Power Roots — 1 ml/L • Pure Zym — 1 ml/L • Sugar Royal — 1 ml/L The response has been exactly what we hoped for. Foliage is a rich healthy green, the stem continues to strengthen, and the newest growth is emerging cleanly without any visible nutrient deficiencies or environmental stress. Although this phenotype is slightly smaller than some of the others, its structure is exceptionally promising. The internodes remain very close together, creating a compact architecture that should provide an excellent foundation once flowering begins. Rather than investing energy into vertical stretch, the plant appears to be concentrating on building a sturdy stem and a balanced framework capable of supporting future flower production. One lesson I’ve learned over the years is that early size doesn’t always predict final performance. Some plants spend their first few weeks quietly establishing an extensive root system before suddenly accelerating once they’re comfortable in their environment. Patience often rewards the grower far more than unnecessary intervention. For now, the plan remains simple: maintain consistency, avoid overreacting to minor differences between phenotypes, and allow Passion Fruitz to continue developing at her own natural pace. Healthy plants don’t all grow at the same speed, but they almost always reward stable conditions and patience. She may be the smallest member of the room today, but she’s showing every sign of becoming a strong, compact and resilient plant in the weeks ahead. This strain reminds me of purple kush but then this is the best phenotype, very dark purple buds ready in 70 days

Alles läuft weiterhin rund. Ich habe zur Vorsicht eine Gelbtafel eingebracht. Da hängt nichts dran, was mich natürlich freut. Das Aroma der Blüten wird immer intensiver. Ich habe nun reichlich Geruchsneutralisatoren im Kreislauf eingesetzt. Man möchte ja nicht bei schönem Wetter auf der Terrasse sitzen und der halben Welt Mittteilen, was man so im Keller treibt. ;) Heute, am 1. Tag der 9. Blütewoche habe ich mit neutralem Wasser begonnen, zu spülen. Wir nähern uns der Ernte. :)

Beginning of week 5 and I finally started to LST the lady's. Had to give time for blueberrys recovery from getting FIMed lol. To be honest I'm gonna let them grow another week and transplant week 6 into there final pots. So this week will be the start of a very long and dedicated process of maintaing a good canopy. Overall I think flowering should be 3 weeks away. Not trying to have a monster harvest on my first go around. My focus is to just succeed at my first grow and be proud of my personal stash at the end of this awesome journey. I plan on starting a new grow after this one so I know what to expect and plan bigger and better, this is more of a test run to see if I can grow good weed indoors. So far so good. Day 30- Topped Alaskan purple.

Doing not much… checking the vpd und water that’s it. Ladies looking good so far.

Just finished week 3 and everything looks amazing. Been fighting a gnat infestation. Been running some Mosquito dunks. This week I'll run a H2o2 in the res. Hopefully this will take care of them. Also placing yellow sticky traps in every bucket to catch stragglers.

The chunk bushed out, it is gaining vertical growth at a faster rate now.. the trunk should start flowering in the first week of August,according to my calculations I might be off a few days. . It just started down pouring and the garden was fertilized yesterday so I expect some good gains

Rains came. Plants protected as flowering was about to start. Mesh to prevent moths from laying eggs. They are a big problem were I live and I amb not a big fan of foliar spray during flowering as we live in a very humid area. Some defoliation was done.

Ah, this diary is being slept on! She’s developing nicely. Still slowly lowering humidity to increase vpd. Started decreasing night temps, curious to see if we can pull any purple out from its purple punch lineage. A yellow leaf and a few others beginning to fade; increased nutes to see if we can keep her happy. Video/photos taken 84 days after breaking soil, day 35 of flower.

During the first week of growth, The Scrooge faced less-than-ideal conditions due to low humidity levels. Despite this challenge, the strain displayed resilience, with new growth emerging. While the environment wasn't optimal, The Scrooge showcased its genetic potential, hinting at promising development ahead.

Was such a pleasant harvest from start to finish, no issues at all. A tip for next time would be to have the SCRoG lower as I couldn’t really tuck any node sights this time round, smells absofuckinglutely amazing from 3RD week bloom onwards!

Got a new light this week, it's basically a HLG 260 R-Spec except locally manufactured using the same Samsung LEDs. Big Mumma got her 60x60cm tent today and will go in there under one Viparspectra 300W blurple (130w from the wall). I trimmed her, super cropped her main stem and added a scrog net in preparation of flowering her in the next couple of days. Because my other plants were getting up past 75cm after 7 days of flower (100cm is my absolute max) , I decided to supercrop the canopy back down to about 60-65cm - it was pretty scary and I definitely broke the outer stem on some of them. Also gave them a good trim. Fortunately most bounced back strong the next day which are the most up-to-date photos you see (17/4/20).

Started smell,but I think is so small what do you think ? Maybe I do something wrong? It's my first lst in my life let me now what I can do better;)

Day8: First day of the new week. I assume still pretty much focusing on roots, as the top didn't really do much today. Day9: Nothing special. But she's growing Day10: Still roots, it seems. Very little happening up top. Day11: Effort being put into growing the top leaves. They increased in size. I assume that the next node will start tomorrow - kicking off the switch into Veg. Day12: Next node already showing :D Day13: I put in a humidifier and changed the cycle of the extractor to keep more moisture in the growbox. My humidity was way too low. Day14: This time the humidity was too high. It was sitting at around 95% when the lights went on.

Nov. 20 - Week 7 begins. It still clings to life despite occasional neglect. Nov. 27 - This week went really fast. One of my Nikon batteries decided to expand and even got stuck in the camera, lucky for me I have some 3M VHB tape kicking around and after several attempts managed to pull it out. I ordered a couple non Nikon replacements that seem to be doing the trick, and at half the price of the elusive, $90CAD, Nikon EN-EL14a. I really aught to get the dummy battery that plugs into the wall and not muck around with batteries, but again, the Nikon parts are elusive and if found, quite expensive. The little lady continues to surprise me with her determination to live despite repeated under watering.
