Grow report week 1: The seedlings Hello dear growers and growerettes, it is time for an update on my grow. My plants have successfully passed the germination phase and have become healthy and lively seedlings. They are all between 5 and 10 cm tall and have exactly the same stages of development, as far as their leaves are concerned. The seedlings I have selected seven different strains from Zamnesia and Barneys Farm, which are all supposed to be very tasty and potent. I am curious how they will differ and which ones I will like best. The strains are: Bruce Banner 3 Banana Do-Si-Dos Gorilla Zkittlez Frosty Nightmare Pink Rozay Girl Scout Cookies The seedlings have all shown their first two cotyledons and their first two true leaves. They look healthy and strong and have a nice green color. They all have a similar size and shape, which indicates a good genetics and a uniform lighting. The care I planted the seedlings in the Lightmix from BioBizz, which is ideal for the germination phase. I moistened the seedlings with a spray bottle. I watered the seedlings once with Bio-Heaven, Root-Juice and Acti-Vera from BioBizz, which are supposed to support the soil, the roots and the plants. I used these products in a very low dosage, to not overfeed or burn the seedlings. I mixed them with pH-regulated water, to achieve the optimal pH value for the soil. I grew the seedlings in a closed room without a tent, which I lined with foil. I used two LED lamps from Lumatek, which each have a power of 300 watts. I set the lamps to a height of 50 centimeters above the seedlings, to not irradiate or burn them too much. The outlook I am very satisfied with the result of the first week. My seedlings have grown well and have shown no problems or deficiencies. I am looking forward to the next two weeks, where it will already be time for the first transplanting and the ladies will be able to taste the pre-fertilized soil for the first time. I will fertilize this run only a bit late, even if I will use osmosis water this time. The soil from BioBizz is really great and can carry the first weeks well on its own. I will start fertilizing about two weeks after the transplantation into the final pots. The next weeks I will introduce you to my water filter, which works much better than the current osmosis systems, without waste water, much faster, almost 1 to 1 flow and also much better for the environment. Empiezo floración modo horario pero pre-floracion con liquidos hasta que salga la primera flor. Riego automatico 3” al encender las luzes y 3” media hora antes de apagarlas.

The flush is almost over and these are almost done. Few more days and they’ll be gettin chopped. Paying close attention the trichome head colors and ratios. Everything looks and smells fantastic. Fastbuds most definitely is a leader in the auto genetic world. More than pleased every time.

I gave the Blue Cheese a trim on 5th december and gave her four days of darkness, the chop was performed on december 9th I took a lot of photographs and videos commemorating these events for you to enjoy :) I think she came out quite decent especially considering that she had some monster/deformed leaves till the 4th week of veg. also looking back I should have moved her to the bigger place in that time...she would be far more symmetrical ;) It was a joy to work with Mars Hydro and their equipment in this grow. Hey guys :-) A lot has happened this week :-). She has developed very well. Today it was topped on the main shoot for the first time. How often I will use topping on her, I make it dependent on how everyone else develops. I want to bloom soon so it won't happen very often :-). It was poured twice this week with 1 l each time (for nutrients, see table above). Fast plant spray from GBL was applied 2 times this week. New was added this week Fast Bud from GBL is preparing her for the coming flowering. Bio Grow Stay away for a while because the substrate is 30-50 % consists of fresh earth and the ladies are nice and dark green :-). Today there was another spray with neem oil against the remaining tripse which I will repeat one last time next week. As always, everything was cleaned and checked. Never dialed back the nutes after defoliation but thankfully nothing bad happened

6/21/2021: - Transplanted to final pot. Next cycle, will germinate seed straight into the soil/final pot. - Bought a pump sprayer for even irrigation. - Fed soil a kelp, karanja, neem & coconut water tea. No adverse reactions as of yet. - Soil went hydrophobic before transplant, will water as necessary. - Branch on first node bent from stalk upon transplant, currently being supported by a stake. - Noticing red/purple stalks and branches, very stoked! - Need to re-feed lacto/wild yeast starter. - Need to brew up more kelp tea. 6/23/2021 - Took off support early, split seemed to heal, but has separated once again. Going to manifold, so not too concerned. - Had to water about .7g of water to keep soil moist for duration of day. - 6th node growing vigorously, birth of leaves for 7th node showing. 6/27/2021 - Topped plant for quadlining at the 5th node, cleared all growth under 3rd. - Watered with a mix of coconut water, DIY neem, karanja & kelp extract. - Foliar fed with DIY kelp extract. - Trimmed leaves already giving off great grapefruit aromas. - Pressing trim for framing.

Sorry for not updating the diary in a while, I have been very busy with work, and also I had some issues with the grow so there wasn’t much to show honestly. First, my plant was having nitrogen deficiency I believe and then I burned her a bit by giving her too many nutrients at once (I know what a beginner mistake huh🙈) But after all this, I cut her yellow leaves off and she has been really well for the past week. In these past few weeks, I have learned so much about growing after making so many mistakes so that has only been a good thing. Even after all these troubles, looks like she will produce some really nice buds, some of the buds are already pretty big and are just growing and growing every day. Please let me know what you think how far away we are from harvesting?

Went into 48 hours or darkness on day 66, then chop...14-21 day 60/60 dry ahead. Will report on harvest and smokes in a few weeks. Another great scrog under the belt!

Plants took a hard hit with bad ph levels in week 4 for a few days but are growing strong again and I will probably veg till the end of week 6 on these girls and switch to flowering in week 7. Overall it’s going good, water temps are a steady 18 Celsius with the thermoelectric water cooler I built and the small ac unit In the tent is holding the air temps between 23-25 Celsius. I added 4 gal of fresh water and nutrients at full strength to the reservoir on Day 38. Also the first lower screen was installed and I tied down/tucked a few of the larger branches to the screen.

They are really starting to fill out. I am seeing great results after every water and every feed. I will be transplanting them into 2 gallon pots in the next 2 weeks.
