Week 3 begins, after defolation and topping

Another week in the books. About two more weeks to go and these ladies are looking fantastic. They have really expressed themselves in this pass week. Buds are rock solid dense I hope for a bit more bud development as far as size but if not the density definitely makes up for it. The Trichomes on each plant are becoming more and more pronounced each day. I am starting to see a fade happen olin all plant so harvest window is approaching. Aiming for day 70 ish harvest or slightly later.

With great joy I will start my second season growing cannabis. I hope to learn from some small mistakes from the first season where I was surprised by my performance as a first-time sailor cultivating the BlueDream strain. This season I left the 4 seeds of GorillaGlue 36hrs in a pot of water to break the dormancy. After that I used the napkin technique for more 42 hrs. So I put each one in a 5-gallon airpot, as they are automatic and go to harvest in the same pot. After 24hrs in the vase the first 2 little leaves came out. I made a homemade dome with a 2-gallon water bottle, cutting it into strips and lining it with plastic with some holes to keep the humidity high during this initial phase. We entered the first week of cultivation and unfortunately due to an oversight I got confused in the fertilizer table and clearly the dreaded overfert happened. I did a watering only with water to try to remove the excess fertilizer let's hope it works.

Cruising right along. I bent over the stalk and had to take a couple of the massive leaves off and it’s back up to 12”. I love my new system and the easy maintenance makes it even better.

Note: Moisture and Temp readings are done in the mornings. Lights are on an automated 17/9 schedule unless stated otherwise. Drip water system waters 1 Liter every 9 hours. Quick Notes: I notice as I go into full-blown flower, the plants are starting to need less frequent waterings, especially North. The watering system overflows her pot often, and the AKs soils feel relatively damp before the auto-watering starts. All plants are stopping their growth also. North is the furthest into flowering and is starting to smell and get sticky, the microscope is showing trichome development also. 📏: AK1: 36 in (91.44 cm), AK2: 44 in (111.76 cm), North: 24 in (60.96 cm) Day 64 (Jul 29) - Manually watering today. Humidity spiked unexpectedly, buying dehumidifier. 💦: X% (40-79) - 🌡️: XC (21-29) Day 68 - Humidity spike overnight. Manually watered AK1 & AK2, not North (didn't seem like she needed it). Looks like the plants are needing a bit less watering overall. 💧: Tap: x pH Adjusted with pH down. Day 47/48 introducing the 12/12 on high power leds on the ladies lookin good so far the black domians nmow oin the right and the acid dough on the left i think both lamps work very similar

Week 6 of flower for the Fastbuds banana purple punch and gorilla cookies. The gorilla cookies has a real strong hazy smell to it and the banana purple punch has a real fruity smell to it. The strawberry banana from Fastbuds is flowering nicely a couple weeks behind.

Very easy and nice strain, i like to grow this one, tasty and euphoric happy effects, perfectly for day and night time and recommended to grow at least once 😂

Week 6 update: What up Grow family. These testers are growing fast and strong. Where in week 6 now and the swelling and ripening of flowers are going amazing. Still feeding 500ml/16oz daily as I've found that's the sweet spot for 3gal fabric pots for these. I'd say these probably have about 2 weeks left until they'll be finished. All in all Happy Growing.
