8/14/2024 Topped plant A due to the node spacing and side branching. Hopefully, this will cause this pheno to bush out a bit more. Intentionally FIMed plant B due to the short internodal spacing and difficulties getting a clean cut for a topping. This plant is already quite bushy and condensed - hoping that it will respond nicely to FIM. Water was not changed over entirely, only added one fresh gallon of nutrient water with additional nutrients added to step up entire system to close to 575-600ppm. Both plants are looking great, root zone needs some improvement with water temperatures. I have ordered a larger water cooler and hope that will help reduce the water temperature inside the tent. Although water temps are a bit high in the buckets, the roots are flourishing and are pearly white! 8/16/2024 Noticed Plant A is showing signs of potassium issues. Added one fresh gallon of non-nutrified water as I was unable to complete a water change. 8/17/2024 Pumped out 5 gallons of nutrient water and refreshed with 5 new gallons. Both plants look to be responding well to the water change. The resulting PPM was 650 after allowing time for the system to reach equilibrium. Extra insulation on the buckets is helping to maintain lower water temperatures throughout the day with lights on in the tent. The environment is pretty well dialed in at an average 1.2-1.6 VPD. 8/19/2024 Replaced water cooler with one that is twice the size and rated for 15-gallon systems. Running reservoir temp target at 18.5 C. Conducted some minor LST on the bushy plant (Plant B) to get the middle opened up a bit more. Did some leaf tucking on plant A to get the lower branches some more direct light. 8/20/2024 Both plants are looking phenomenal. There is a very slight cannabis smell in the tent at all times.

About this diary> So I've made it to the end! This baby didnt die on me! This diary was half a record for myself, to keep improving and contrasting against my future grows in and out of this wonderful platform (growdiaries), and half a tutorial for other noobs like me. That's why I wrote somewhat long explanations about some of the things I myself found confusing during this and last grow. I also repeated myself, but again mostly because I was trying to learn while doing. I got some help from other growers in the community, which was very nice, and different from trying to figuring out everything by oneself. This girl stretched a lot! from about 30 cm at the end of flower to about 90 cm before harvest, it survived nutrient burn, an accident were I dropped something heavy on her on flower, accidentally chopping a branch during LST and spider mites. However, still yielded nicely. I cant imagine what these genetics could become in the hands of a master grower!! About the growing conditions> The idea of the grow was, not only to learn how to grow a somewhat long flowering strain (6 week veg, 10 weeks flower) but also doing it very cheaply. I think the most expensive thing I bought was the seed from RQS. I built my own light fixture (from 4x 4.00CAD COBs from aliexpress), some cardboard, wire, sticks, tape and aluminum foil. I also used dollar store nutrients (like 15% of a 15-15-15 veg mix, and a 15-30-15 flowering mix). I timed this strain to finish a few weeks before the temperature really starts dropping outside, and was always able to keep it around 20-29C without any air conditioner/heater. About growing amnesia haze> I harvested this plant on the early side, but I found it a challenge not to harvest earlier! Since many weeks ago the delicious smell has been filling the room and some parts of the house... Plus, its a long wait... However, I think it was very well rewarded :) As I said, the high is creative, giggly, energetic and uplifting, at least from the premature samples we got. I will update this once the real deal is dry and cured :) About the harvest> Well in terms of numbers, I will update this when the weed is done drying, but I can do an estimate right now... each sample I took weighted about 1.45g wet, and dried to a 25% of that (0.35 g each)... It means that what I weighted from the harvest (412.86g + a bunch of trim) would probably weight about 100g when dry... Let's see how it goes in a week or two :)

Flowering looks awesome on the ChemDog! Lots of bud sites and they're growing at a respectable rate. ATF's are running 3 plants in 3 diff stages- one's a couple weeks into flower, one's just starting,and one's still the holdout. Meanwhile, I've got flowering on the Night Nurse and one of the Viper Cookies. The rest are close but I can't say for sure they've transitioned. Weather's getting into a hot and humid phase, gotta watch that ChemDog. Think it's got a decent structure for ventilation but I've read horror stories on how the Dog loves mold. Further training of the branches has been fruitful, I'm seeing a lot more topside bud sites than usual. I'm working on irrigation-- I set up a 30 gal container and it works for drip, but without a pipe system it's still one at a time, although I have to admit it's worth it to save my back. Plus, I have to have a supply ready for use in case my buddy needs to fill in for me and water the ladies. Been checking the cameras regularly ( I have them all throughout the property, game cameras with IR flash), and to date haven't seen anything that would constitute a threat. Just some curious raccoons and one really ugly opossum. Even the skunks don't bother them this year, which is nice but a little strange considering they dig in them every year. It's really just the animals I'm watching for, people aren't as much of a concern. Mostly because I don't know any. Aside from that, I sleep with my head feet away from my babies, so somebody would have to have big brass ones to even try. Yes, I know, a little overprotective. Fingers crossed it'll be one hell of a harvest (by my standards). 8/11 Update: Been lucky still with the weather, but it's turning really humid. Fed the girls this morning, a mix of 1C molasses and 1/2C epsom salt in 20 gallons. Just a little supplement to the tiger bloom they've been feasting on. Speaking of the Tiger Bloom, I can't help but think I'd do just as well mixing my own nutrient solution, since the cost really adds up quick. For his year, however, it'll be fine. My watering gizmo is working well, just leaks a tiny bit and that's fine for the remainder of the year. Now that I have an idea of what works for me I can spend the off-season setting up something right. Had to thin out the Lamb's a bit, it wasn't getting anywhere near enough air flow. Also took a few on the ChemDog as I'm expecting mold/rot conditions for a while and she's prone. Shouldn't have much problem, wind blows almost constantly here, but you can never be too careful. Training is taking well, overall they look pretty good. Next year-- bigger grow bags, better soil, and much pickier seed choices. I think I may even abandon the idea of topping them in the future-- it just slows them down and you can get the same end results with training. Granted, my ladies are kinda sparse and ugly, but that's the learning curve. Next time around I think I have a pretty good idea of what to do and when to do it, based on what worked and didn't work this year. Another big thing is nutrient timing-- I def jumped the gun on flower power for a few of them and it just stunted them wicked-- shoulda continued veg food a couple weeks into flower even for the early bloomer, she'd be a monster.

A pocas semanas de terminar, lamentablemente algunos de mis frascoa principales de BioBizz perdieron propiedades y eficacia ya que llevaban mucho tiempo guardado. PH muy ácido en el suelo debido a esto. Tuve que regar mucho con agua y cambiar el fertilizante a esta maravilla mineral con pH Perfect (Advanced Nutrients), es esto para no terminar sin peso.

The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures stay above the mid 40's℉, at which point she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes, and then let the fun begin!🤪💚 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 6/26- Can you believe that it is now Week Thirteen since breaking ground for the FastBuds Wedding Cheesecake Fast Flower??? This lady has turned into a genuine beast of a plant and continues to remain healthy with great color and vigor! 6/28- Our weather is HOT now with heat indexes over 100℉ so I'm watering the Wedding Cheesecake FF every day with 5-8g of straight well water from the garden hose in the late afternoon once the plant is in the shade. Other than the ever present leaf hoppers, which love the leaves but leave the flowers alone, and an occasional Japanese Beetle there aren't any serious pest issues currently. The Wedding Cheesecake FF continues to have excellent color and vigor and continues to add vertical growth! 6/30- The weather continues to be hot and humid and the daily watering continues. She is taking shape nicely, but in the meantime I noticed some CalMag and N deficiencies too. On the next feed I will go with 2/3 strenght and the following one will be 3/4 if needed. At the moment I’m switching from tap water to rainwater, the problem is that Biobizz PH down doesn’t hold the ph for more than an hour. Hence the deficiencies. I ordered a PH- from Growth Technology, it solved the issue. The watering regime is as follows: •Clean water in the tray for 3 days, top up if needed •Turn off the air pump, drain the water •Wait 12 hours •Pour the feed in the tray (4 liters - 1/2 strenghth) •Leave the feed in the tray for 24 hours, air pump off •Drain the leftover of feed •Clean water in the tray, turn the air pump back on

Ok so this week after weeks of extreme sunshine and warmth and humidity at tops without any rain ( had to water thems every day ) and this week I feel the growth has slowed down a bit because of all this rain! It’s been raining every day and not just a little ! Overwatering from Mother Nature ! Still a good week tho because my baby is doing fine ! NO pest at all to signal ... Guess im 🍀
