Whew, what a hot, humid and wet week. Although we had a major storm this week, Gorilla Cookies proved her strength to withstand:) This week I took the time to go to the Fast Buds website and read about the "plant appearance." FBA says Miss Gorilla Cookies will grow to a height of 150cm which is 59 inches. My Gorilla Cookies is 33 inches tall. So, I can boast about that, however, I can not boast about my Gorilla Cookies being "Stout and Bushy." I even looked on the FB website to see some pictures of other growers Gorilla Cookies and mine are tall and lean. BUT, my plant stems look very similar to the plant stems on FB website. I did stop using Miracle Grow and started giving my plant Advanced Nutrients!! I am hoping this will be good for bud growth. Fast Buds does boast Gorilla Cookies will be completed around 10 weeks and that I will " be amazed at the insane trichome production. Especially in the final weeks when she definitely packs on some weight and you see the buds getting white in resin and reeking of cookies and gas." I am excited to see what the next two weeks will produce. Miss Gorilla Cookies has definitely proven to be resilient because we have certainly had some tough weather to deal with and I gave my Gorilla Cookies Miracle Grow nutrients which I would never do again. Week 13 - a cute visitor! We've had strong winds, so I made a little support net with some hemp string. Tbh, I just went with my inuition: knots here and there and strong support. Let's hope this will do the trick. Temps are lower this week but humidity is up. Sun keeps shining. This should be a good harvest. Another 10cm growth spurt. That's more than 1cm per day. I should hear her grow at this speed. Also, the leaves on this one. She really means business. It's almost a full time job to keep her in check. But I'm only here on weekends and I think she likes that. 5 days of undisturbed growth until it's time for a little leaf shedding. She's doing and looking great. I found a tiny critter enjoying some leaves, luckily my cats keep them at bay, so no damage.

Hello Diary, Purple Lemonade has reached the end of its journey, its last week because I harvested it two days after taking the photo. 73 days since I put the seeds in the ground. 65 days since the start of the vegetation. Really very fast, although that has somehow become the standard on my little "Farm". But I am still fascinated by how quickly a plant goes through its cycle when it has the most ideal conditions. I don't necessarily mean myself here, I try to give the plants the best I can and know how. As you can see in the photos, the result is impressive. The flowers are large and showy, the branches bend under their weight. The main cola is especially noticeable because it is covered in flowers full of trichomes that create a frost effect. The smell is very intense at this stage, the whole room smells like plants when I open the grow box. Watering was standard, every three days. This week I stopped adding nutrients, I just lower the p.H. to 6.0 and water the plants with clean water. After taking the photo, it was in the grow box for two more days to drink all the water from the soil so that the drying would be more efficient. Before cutting, I removed all the leaves from the plant to also make drying easier and have less work to trim the dried flowers. But also to prevent the formation of potential mold. After cutting, I left it upside down in the grow box to dry. Now there is that last step to see how much Purple Lemonade really rewarded me. See you when that happens. Here's what the last week looked like. 19/09/2024 - Day 57. Watering. I prepared 9 liters of water, lowered the pH to 6.0 and used that amount to water all three plants on the farm. 22/09/2024 - Day 60. Watering. I repeated the same procedure as three days earlier. 24/09/2024 - Day 62. I watered them all with 1.5 liters of water each plant so that they were fresh for the photo shoot. 25/09/2024 - Day 63. End of the last, 9th week since Purple Lemonade began its journey. Photo shoot. 27/09/2024 - Day 65. Purple Lemonade has been harvested. That's almost all from me for this diary, there is still the final report that follows after drying and testing. Thank you all once again for your support and comments.

Temp, Humidity & VPD are all controlled by a Mycodo System to reach a VPD Range of 0.5 - 0.7. Light is at its lowest setting 04.04. I started to add nutrients to the water. 2.5ml of Plagron Terra Grow per 1L.

The temperatures, humidity, and watering volume(if measured) in grow conditions are all averaged for the week. The pH is soil pH. Any watering done by me is well water which is 7.6 pH and 50° F. Any listed nutrients are topdressed @ ml/gallon of soil. Day 1 we had sunshine and a lite breeze. Day 2 and 3 we had sunshine and a lite breeze. I watered about 2 gallons from the water hose per plant day 3. Day 4 we had shower in the morning and throughout the day. Day 5 we had rain in the early morning, drizzle and afternoon showers. I added an additional 50ml of ferrous sulfate top dressed. I also spread just enough peat moss to cover the ferrous sulfate to prevent the rain from splashing it onto plants. Previously the rain splashed granules of ferrous sulfate onto the leaves, burning them. I used 50ml or 1.66ml/gallon of soil, as I've only got about 30 gallons of soil in the pots. I'm waiting to top off after this excessive rain is done. Day 6 we had intermittent rain, drizzle, and mist throughout the day. This weather has been very WET for cannabis.The good news is the ferrous sulfate is working. The soil pH is down around 6.4. There's still a small amount of excess phosphorus but these girls will grow into it. Day 7 we had rain all morning and into the afternoon. The pots are soaked. I noticed on day 3 that the #1 plant is falling behind the other two. The reason is the procession of the sun has caused it's path to create shade on the #1 plant. We have large trees surrounding the grow area and the #1 plant is receiving about a hour less sun in the morning. I waited for the pot to get lite and moved to a sunnier location on day 3. Everyone grew very good despite the excessive rain and cool nights. The plants doubled in height and overall this week was a success.

This one was a monster of plant she took the 140x70 cm like a real champ. Sexy frosty dense buds with a beautiful blue/Grey shadow This one can really be the champ of this season 💚

To start the week i'm seeing the buds start to swell, i've also had to give a peroxide foliar spray to be sure i'm not going to be ingesting mites... shall see how it goes. ---- sprayed some dilute 3% peroxide mixed 2-1 with water. misted the shit out of it with distilled to get the humidity up afterwards the ladybugs were having a field day on all the water fleeing spider mites. see video
