Time to christen my brand new grow setup! I have only ever grown outdoors before (316g last year, for those wondering), so I’m excited about the possibilities of a controlled environment. I’ll be trying to tickle as much as I can out of this setup. First time doing a public diary too! I’ll be starting out with an easy (and cheap!) strain from my beloved RQS. But don’t you worry! I’ll be trying some different strains for sure, I’ve got my eye on some MSNL ones once I feel more confident. I started Germination with the good ol’ cup of water technique, my favourite since it’s easy and has never failed me. They all popped and were planted on the 5th. Wish me Luck!

So far my confidence in this next go around is very high! 😃☀️ Putting the seeds straight into a jiffy pellet is the way I am going to proceed with germination going forward. You are just adding extra variables to what should be a simple equation (seed in sterile medium + warmth + moisture = seedling) unlike with the paper towel method, where you need to transfer them to the medium. But this is just one opinion of a rookie grower.

It’s been a good week of bud growth. I started turning up the dial to 400watts over night when the temps start to lower. I did add an hps to add color and wattage to the grow and not break the bank. So far it’s paying off. With allot of heat I’m keeping my eye on the water levels. Refilling as needed.

Soaked the seeds in distilled water for 15 minutes. After I put them on wet cotton pads and sealed those in Mylar bags. I placed those bags on top of my radiator. I made sure it is not running too hot. I don't really care about yield; I just want to do a little project inspired by a YouTuber called Weed in a Pot. I just want to see if I can bring it to the next level with this setup. I already switched out the light for the newer evo dimmable version since it was to strong. Also drilled a few more thicker holes in the bottom for better cold air intake.

Buenas, buenas estamos en la semana 1 de floracion y las plantas comienzan ha estirarse y a mostrar su sexo, hemos aplicado diferentes tecnicas para maximizar la malla de scrog

In the end I can say that I am satisfied with both the yield and the taste of Mimosa. It will definitely satisfy my daily needs :). I wrote earlier but I will repeat the basic information: 81 days from when it sprouted until it was harvested. 3 weeks of vegetation. 7 weeks of flowering. 14 days drying. 123 g total yield. 2 Mimosas grown. They have both grown taller than 110cm making them one of the taller strains I have grown so far. All ten or so weeks passed without any problems, the only thing I was not very happy when I saw in which direction Mimosa # 1 is developing. After 14 days of drying in a grow box in the dark, I did the final trimming, weighed the dried flowers several times to keep my Mimosa # 1 and Mimosa # 2 from mixing, although it can be immediately recognized by the structure of the dried flowers. I then put them back in the jars and put moisture fighters in them that will regulate the moisture during curing in the jars. And here we are at the end, it’s obvious given the amount of text I’m enjoying Mimosa’s smokes as I write this latest report. El aroma se intensifica con notas dulces y terrosas, y los cogollos engordan visiblemente cada día. Se ha iniciado el lavado de raíces con agua osmotizada y enzimas para asegurar un sabor limpio. Las hojas grandes comienzan a perder color, señal de que la planta ha dado todo lo que tenía. ¡ Seguimos creciendo fuerte! 💪
