Week 9 - Fourth Week of Flower The Donutz gang is hitting its stride as the fourth week of flower unfolds. Trichomes are developing beautifully, and the plants are entering full production mode. A few challenges cropped up this week, but quick thinking and some DIY ingenuity kept everything on track. Key Updates: Trichome Progress: The resin glands are popping off, with a frosty layer forming across the developing buds. The plants are starting to show their true potential, and the tent is starting to smell. New Fan Installation: The old ventilator tapped out this week, so a replacement was installed to maintain proper airflow. This ensures the plants stay cool and prevents any issues with humidity or stagnant air. Lamp Adjustment: The front-left plant shot up too close to the light, so I had to get creative. I built a DIY solution to raise the lamp higher, ensuring even coverage and preventing light stress. Accident Recovery: During the light adjustment, I initially tried securing the front-left plant with a rubber band. Concerned it might melt, I removed it, but in the process, the main stem got damaged. Thankfully, the plant is a fighter. The main cola is now growing sideways but remains fully healthy and strong. This unexpected twist has added some character to the tent, and the plant is bouncing back beautifully. Observations: Despite the challenges, all plants are thriving, with strong growth and healthy bud development. The sideways-growing cola on the front-left plant is a unique highlight, showing the resilience of the Donutz genetics. Next Steps: Keep monitoring airflow and light height to avoid any further issues. Continue with the nutrient schedule and reverse osmosis (RO) watering to maintain stability. Watch the trichomes closely as they continue to mature, signaling the start of the final phases of flower. The Florida Gang grind is real, and the Donutz are proving their worth week after week. Oct. 29 - start of week 5 and after a couple of days she’s starting to come around. Since the pinch it was like she started to crumple in on herself so hopefully she’s ready to blow up. Might’ve been too rough on er. Thanks for checking er out!👍 Oct 31 update - busy day, she needed a lot of attention, some LST and oh yeah, water. Let er dry out an extra day and hit her with another 2L. Think I’ll up the Volume this week. Fim paid off and we should run out 4 big colas on this pinch alone. Staked er down to get more light to the stem. Now were talkn😉👍. Nov. 2 update - snipped a fan leaf to try and get the tip underneath some good light. She should make one helluva cola eventually. Plant got a full 1gal. flush with phd & calmag water only. Nov. 3 update - so a busy but important week. The leaf I snipped yesterday has provided all kinds of light to 3 lower growth tips so she’s startn to get er bush on real well. We bent er down and away to the side of the pot a little more😉. This parts lot so of fun, She’s lookn goood👍 Nov. 4 update - she’s really picked up her growth and recovered fully now. The girls loved the rinse. Had to snip her two largest fan leaves cause I found a light deprived family of potential colas underneath👍. HATE to do it but has to happen. Week 6 come’n up and she’s lookn good. Background This one is gonna be fimmed out and defo’d as a comparative to its manifolded kush sister. They’ll spend a first week or so under a cfl assembly while the last harvest dries out in the cabinet. This is our 2nd grow of an NL strain and this one should be typical of NL in terms of resilience. That said, she’s a former cup winner so we’re hopeful for supreme quality this time around. 👍 Gonna jack up the nute shed. and supplements heavy throughout the grow in the hopes of really testing the limits of my grow space (approx. 2sq/ft). With the coco medium we’re hoping for that 20% bump in yield as well. THANKS for check'n er out

So far so good, Growmies! 🌱 I’ve been watering the seedlings with BioBizz Root Juice to encourage root growth, and I’ve also been watering at a fair distance from the plants so the roots stretch out in search of moisture. Growth is nominal, with all 5 seedlings developing in step with one another. We’ll increase the watering over the next few days and keep on growing! 💧✨ Stats so far: 💧 Watering: 0.5L every other day 💦 Humidity: ~85% RH 🌡️ Temp (lights on): 26–28°C 🌡️ Temp (lights off): 20–22°C 📈 Avg. Week 8 Nana Boo boo we lost one of 3 & the other is recovering from epic

These ladies came in a rush, such a rush that they stretched out without leaving the seed. I only got a picture of two but about four of them were like that. As soon as they shedded the seed the leaves came in nicely, only one got a bit damaged from being stuck in the seed. I placed the seed in a 500ml cup with BioBizz Light Mix soil, beforehand I mixed 1 gram of Synergy per 4 liters of soil. These are live microbes called Mycorrhiza which live in symbiotic association with the roots. My idea is to leave them in this container for about 14-21 days until the roots develop correctly then transplant them to their final pot which will be an 11L fabric pot. As the light mix soil comes blended for at least two week of life, no nutrients will be added until after the transplant. All out good first week only problem was I had to adjust the light a bit to keep them from stretching, but at the end of the week ladies were spreading their leaves so they comfy now.

Idk 🤷‍♂️ 🤷‍♂️ i've seen people with similar phenotypes, so I know it's not anything i've done.. Usually I am raving about Zamnesia Seeds but this grow was a real letdown. Especially because it's a contest grow, and I had put so much into it.. not very happy.The plant was ugly from the beginning.. deficiencies from the beginning.. and she's gotten the same treatment every plant I ever grow gets .. she produced a lot .. i just don't know how good it's going to be... Not a sugar leaf on the whole plant... No sweet smell .. i'm just glad this grow is over......... Okay, now that it's dried for a couple days. It's official, this grow was a complete waste of time.. I'm not gonna smoke one b off the entire plant. It's all going in the freezer for butter. It's absolutely trash.It's all larfie ruderalis 💩 .. no more autos

Definitely love the colours on this girl. Very true to her name, very dark purple/black. 10/10 would grow again

Day 7 from light flip

Still working on my canopy. I did some defoliation in order to encourage growth at the bud sites and improve circulation. I have 3-4 weeks until her sister is mature enough to flower. I took a gamble and germinated another seed two weeks ago because the one I originally planted with her turned out to be male. I hope it will be mature enough to produce a decent yield. Even though it will only have been growing for 4 weeks. By that time I expect most of the bud sites on the older plant to have grown through the trellis, and I should have a nice even canopy. The second plant will just be grown as is with very little training. I don't want to slow its growth at all.

It’s now showing pistils pretty well, and I got some critical peyote from Barney farms In a napkin right now There is a little burnt tip on fan leaves I think too much nitrogen since it’s in the big pot and the leaves are dark green. But looks good happy I picked the internodes during preflower too

This was a brilliant week for plant growth, with some side branches over doubling their height. I added the ScrOG net at the beginning of the week and began some more intensive training. The LST only plants I pretty much just continued to bend. The topped & LST'd plants I removed some of the lower bud sites that were not getting any light. I also removed a few awkward fan leaves that could not be tucked away. The addition of the net has helped with this though, as keeping the canopy even is much easier with the support it gives. I also decided not to try any further cuts on the (half) mainlined auto's. My reasoning is that they have developed strong, independent colas already, so cutting for more would not see much gain. The plants had also begun to flower on the night I went to perform the second cut, and my growing experience tells me not to mess with flowering plants too much so here we are. I gave the plants one regular watering of 10L pH'd water, and a 20L nutrient mix using the ratios stated above. All volumes were split equally between the plants. The scrawny looking blue critical has perked up a heck of a lot, so the weakest looking plant is the LST only on GSC. ZThe strongest plants by far are the ones that have been topped and LST'd, closely followed by the mainlined ones. LST only is definitely great, but it is clearly lagging behind the other two techniques.
