I have spent the last week studying how to use COB led efficiently. On my last grow I just whacked them straight up to "11" and hoped for the best. This grow I intend to change track and try and use the least amount of light possible to get the best results. To be fair my light is way over spec for my 60x60 tent. I want to use the dimmer to lower the intensity of the light to more than adequately match the needs of my space. Then I can use the over head of light intensity that I have as the grow progresses into flower. I would enjoy any comments or feedback any advice is good advice in my opinion.

Week 6 of to a good start! They look happy and healthy. Time to flip to flower soon! 👽👉3/10 Climate is automated and working accordingly to my adjusted VPD settings. Happy and healthy, actually surprised they've grown so much lately. 👽👉4/10 Waiting for their complete recovery, so they can be flipped to flower (Defoliation the 30/9, im giving them about a week) 👽👉5/10 Water day* Plain ph balanced water. Need Runoff PH and EC down a little bit. 👽👉6/10 I applied the SCROG net. 👽👉7/10 Doing some minor tweaks to the setup + VPD settings(from 1.0 to 1.1). Hey folks and welcome to my 2021 outdoor grow diary! I hope you guys enjoy my upcoming posts and see how these ladies will end up by october! Just to break down this years grow, I will be trying new grow techniques, as last year my plants turned out like bonsais, as always, organic grow using Promix HP and Gaia Green Organic Amendments, and watering with a mixture of molasses to feed the soil microbes. So my pops got his hands on some "local growers" clones of Kings Kush cash crop, apparently it is an 80/20 Indica hybrid with a THC average of 14-23%, the smell is suppose to be like musky, peppery Kush and taste the same according to the guy that sold him the clones. Tho, I wouldn't rely on the sellers credibility, all I know is that the strain is mold resistant which is a must in the GTA and is a strong plant and has been doing well for my pops indoor grow so far. I will keep you guys updated on how his batch turns out. So I got 4 of these clones ready by May 16th and transplanted them from a 1 gal to its final 15 gal fabric pots. With that, I used Promix HP and amended the 15 gal with 2 cups of Gaia green all purpose 4-4-4 with approximately 1 cup of Gaia green power bloom and mixed well into each 15 gal pot. (About 70/30 ratio @4tbs/gal of the mixture) After the transplant was completed, I started to water the plants with dechlorinated tap water pHed to 6.5 and gave each pot about 0.5gal each of water. My plans for the next watering is to introduce blackstrap molasses at 1tbs/gal of water to start supercharging the dormant microbes in the soil! I also have to add yellow sticky strips to keep an eye on pests such as fungus gnats and spray neem oil as a PM in the soil and plant.

Day 32. Plants have begun preflower. Things are progressing nicely. 1 plant still struggling. Defoliation applied to keep things tidy in growtent. Still there is quite alot of growing to be done so hopefully everything fits. 😀

Die Lemon Orange und die Grapefuel Gelato haben bereits ordentlich an Blütenmasse zugelegt und auch so einige Orange-braune Pistillen entwickelt. Die beiden werden wohl als erstes fertig. KISS und Amnesia fangen gerade damit an, an Blütenmasse zuzulegen. Denke die beiden werden mind. eine Woche länger brauchen, um fertig zu werden, als die anderen beiden. she grows strong and healthy. their daylight hours are not always right. that is why I think flowering was lengthened. I have to take her out of her tent outdoors because it is difficult for me to enter and take good photos..

Still 3 plant in the tent at the moment , 2 of them are harvested and drying right now :) another should be ready for harvest this week :) I do have a plant that seems to be late compared to the other , although she is now massive compared to her sisters

// Day 78 I put her inside. I know, that's cheating, but I do not care right now. The weather will be abyssymal in the next days and I do not want to keep her just in my room at the balcony door because she stinks amazing, but I can't let her stink up the apartment. And she is pretty late in flower, I really want her to work on the buds, let them thicken up and I just want to enjoy the outcome in the end. This grow is already incredibly long for an autoflower and she still needs 2-3 more weeks, when looking at her bud sites. I don't want to harvest trash buds after investing 3 to 4 months into a plant. If the weather is good again, she will be back outside. If the weather is trash with rain all day, I'll keep her in the tent. My main concern is her bud development. The sites are huge but the calyxes are just not fattening up. You can see it in the pictures, they're very airy and overall not "sexy" looking, if you know what I mean. I hope that she finishes nicely since this grow went amazing so far. She is an absolute unit and I want her to finish perfectly. Let's see how she developes in the next 14 days. With 78 days, this plant is very old, but I've seen autoflowers getting harvested after 90 days or even 100 days. So I will just keep calm for now and I try to enjoy the last 2-3 weeks of her grow life. // Day 83 She is bulking up nicely. Unfortunately, I needed to remove 1 headbud from a side stem because I saw spider mite webbing... I hate that. The other buds seem clean, in general does this strain have not many pests on it. But they managed to set up a little camp in there so I removed the whole top bud of the side branch.

What a fantastic grow, this has now overtaken another plant thst was started 2 weeks before this F1, the growth on this plant is phenomenal !! Buds look like they have started to form nicely, as this is an auto i have taken to try and tuck levlaves in to open more light to buds below as I do not want to defoliate being an auto. Still amazed at the speed of this strain and already looking forward to next week's update for you all. 🌱

Added the first screen into the tent. Decided to kick Big Mumma out because she just wasn't growing any taller and the other plants were really over growing her. For the new setup I used kitty litter trays and mesh to sit the plants on - each plant gets its own tray so I can track runoff EC individually and I cut little flaps in the mesh so I can wet vac the runoff. With this setup I shouldn't need to move the plants out of the tent until harvest. For the scrog I just tied some builders rope around the poles of the tent and tied the trellis netting off with training wire. I've been manipulating the growth just to try and fill out the whole screen, I also gave them a good haircut because I plan on flipping them soon, don't want them to outgrow the tent.

Esta semana, ya recuperadas de la poda apical y Fim les hago la poda de bajos o lollilopping, entutado y Scrog. Es mi primer cultivo y se me han descontrolado las sativas en altura y en cantidad de plantas, pero voy a ver si me apaño y saco Al menos buenas copas... He regado 2 días con fertilizantes con 1.1 de ec y otro con solo agua y enzimas. Hoy comprobé el ec del sustrato midiendo el agua sobrante y algunas plantas me ponían 1.8 ec y otras 2.5 ec... Me aconsejáis que siga regando para que sobre agua por el macetero ? Estoy usando maceteros de 11 litros y estoy regando 500ml, excepto esta última vez que les he echado 1.5 litros y solo les salió del macetero unos 250ml. Soy todo oídos y muchas gracias

Girls are still growing smoothly 👍🏼 had zero issues this grow except crazy growth although I don't think that's a bad thing👌🏼 had to give another trim and gave them a tuck under just one more time! Hoping that these next couple of weeks run smoothly 🤘🏼 Nothing else to report surprisingly been a super easy grow! Happy growing ✌️🏼️🍁
