Hey now, hope everyone is doing well, I had one out of two Fastbuds Strawberry Bananas pop and she is currently in Pro-Mix seedling starter/perlite but will be transferred to Coco Coir/Perlite as soon as her roots fill up the solo cup. I will transplant her probably in a week or so, she seems to be starting slow even though she's in a perfect environment. I have seen this before, and some of the ladies I was ready to give up on became massive producers, so I'll see what happens with this one. I have gotten some great yields and flower quality from Fastbuds strains, but I have not had the greatest germination success rate compared to other breeders. I started prepping some coco for this grow by flushing it down to .4 EC and I currently have it soaking in buckets of water with an EC of 2.0 from Cal Mag. This will help prevent cal mag deficiencies in the plants. I will transplant her to her final home in a week or so which will be a 5.4 Gallon Airpot. Once in her final home she will get fed 4x per day, and the runoff will go to my tomatoe plants outside which will also be in coir. I am very excited to crank this Medic Grow LED up and especially add that UV/IR spectrucm to the flowers and see what effect that has on the final THC and terpene production. I am currently running the Spectrum X at 30% which is about 230 watts in the F1 spectrum which is the blue/veg spectrum. I will be adding more seedlings to the tent here shortly to try and fill her up, but I started with the longest expected grow times of Glueberry OG and Strawberry Banana, and next week I will add a Gorilla Girl from Sweet Seeds and a Purple Punch from Barney's Farm with the hope that they will all be ready for harvest within a week or two of each other. Day 58 Update: Watered both plants with 3/4gal until runoff. Water was dosed with Terpinator at 15ml/gal. I will start the flush on Plant #1 next watering. Added a stake and a plant yoyo to Plant #2 to support the heavier branches. Day 62 Update: Starting flush on Plant #1. Watered both plants with almost a gallon until runoff. Plant #2's water was dosed with 3/4tsp of Big Bloom, 1/4tsp of Grow Big, and 1/4tsp of Tiger Bloom. Plant #1's water is just plain pH balanced water. I will start watering every 3 days now. I will start the flush on Plant #2 after one more nutrient watering.

We topped the plants once and we do lst ever since. We also defoliate them 3 times during the veg phase, which took 8 full weeks. We stick with the recommended dosages of Canna nutrients for coco and we spray the ladies once a week with Plagron's Vita Race along with Sugar Royal.

This week was also uneventful, growth has been slow and I'd say its half my fault with PH issues and over feeding which I'm correcting moving forward; and two unstable genetics. I dont have much info on growth patterns for this strain but its supposed to look a beautiful dark purple so I'm gonna breed a male and female hopefully. I'm also looking forward to the fourth phenos straits, I kind of hope its different just to have fourth completely unique phenos.

👍 Amnesia Haze pheno #1 has everything it takes to be a keeper. Hazy genes mixed with subtile sweetness and a bit of citrus. Outstanding 😵 👍 Amnesia Haze pheno #5 is much more hazy. Buds are relatively small 😏 Let's wait a while. 👍 Shining Silver Haze pheno #2 (75cm) it is the smallest plant, but despite its height a very beautiful plant. Her buds are foxtail-style, long buds that still form nice clusters. Her smell is sensational 😍 👍 Shining Silver Haze pheno #5 (135 cm) is the tallest plant and is an extreme sativa. She smells spicy, peppery and a bit of licorice. She has gone a bit mad : her buds are too loose and have kinky shapes 😜 👉 The plants stille consume a lot of water, despite their small sativa-style leaves. 👉 I did some defoliation of the lower leaves, who are turning a bit yellow. 👉 I repositioned the plants to new levellers to get a flat canopy 👉 The plants consume a lot of water. Three times a week I water the plants from above with GEN 1:11 care products (3 times 5l with nuts). The rest of the water comes from the water tank (no nuts).

That's what catches my eye with Black Diamond right now. The canopy has depth. The flowers have presence. The branches have purpose. And the whole plant looks like it's putting every part of that structure to work. She's not wasting much space. She's filling it. Blue Dream Auto grew okay. She didn't get as big as I expected, but I was not able to keep grow temp up due to the winter. She is loaded in trichromes and has a berry, woody, citrus aroma. I am gonna cut her today and get back with a smoke report soon. So it's basically day 66 on BK and day 58 on GG thinking about start to flush them... They look gorgeous and full of trichomes, smell still missing but I'm fine with it... Next update in week

D-56 : The girls are great, beautyful and starting to stretch fast. No deficiency, no watering or feeding trouble, the temperature is a bit high but this variety are really comfortable with temperatures between 27 and 30°C, so I maintain it around 27-29°c during the day time. The horizontal space is fully occupied already. But, I hope the Choco Haze won't be too bushy, even if I'll continue to reasonably defoliate to let light and fresh air go through the canopy. As I start the second flowering week, the flowers should apear... can't wait to see the first ones ! One of the four ChocoHaze is growing a bit slower. What is weird, is that it's the one in the center of the grow room. Isn't it supposed to be the one that have the bigest amount of light ? I guess it comes from this specific phenotype.... we'll see, maybe she'll explose in the next days ! Who knows !

The last week of vegetation is already ending. Starting from day 60, I switched to a 12/12 hour light regimen.

Trichomes still look to clear still debating if I start flushing this coming week or the next. Either way buds look great starting to put on the frost on the density now. What a fun grow 😁

This week I let the plant grow freely with no training or cuts applied. I’m waiting for the branches to reach 5 nodes before doing the next topping at the 3rd node, so for now the focus is just on healthy growth and recovery. Everything is developing nicely, and the structure is getting ready for the next apical cut 💪🌿
