Week 5 At the beginning of the week I set up and tested auto-pot system for 2 plants using the same reservoir of feed water. All connections work fine with no leaks, the floats are free moving and work as intended, I have air pumping into the reservoir and all connections are good there as well. I used black tubing for the feed lines and placed towels over he reservoirs to block out light from the water in the system. After all checks were made, I placed the plants in the pots and turned the system on. At the end of the week I had 3 new nodes of growth since the last topping, so I topped for the third time (4 cuts this week on the 4 set from last week and also removed the lowest). I now have 8 colas set. Feed this week was 400ppm total before add-ins. I used 360ppm Veg concentrate mix (recipe week 2) and 40ppm Bloom concentrate mix (recipe above). However, I also added 1ml/gal of CaliMagic (General Hydroponics 1-0-0) to all feeds and ph balance this week was for 6.3. Next week will consist of training the colas to go where I want them to. I plan to train 6 to the outer ring and 2 to the inner ring. Once I have enough new growth I will set the tomato rings and possibly start wire training. Feed will increase in total ppm and bloom mix and I plan to reduce ph to the 5.8 range slowly, so about 6.1 this week and 5.9 next before flip on week 9.

I started out with two plants, well, I still have two plants but I dropped one when I was changing the nutrient solution. It isn't dead, but it hasn't grown any either since I changed to 12/12 light a week ago. Trashed the stunted one. The remaining one looks like it needed the room anyway.

You can really see how the lights shine in comparison to my older ones. The brightness of the leds is next level and I can use their V1 spectrum from seed to harvest. Its a great balance of red and blue in a full spectrum light. The medic grow mini sun 2 is a all purpose light that I can see myself getting lots of use out of in the future. Plus they fit in my tent just as snug as my last ones and that's a big thing for me, I don't like dim corners. I am using the lights at 80% dim level. this will be raised to 100% when they enter flower :D First time useing lights I can dim. they also have an onboard timer attached to them, I will be playing aorund with this to see if its something I want to use in the coming weeks, I all ready have all the external timers so I can see how this is a useful tool for anyone starting off without them. On top of all this I also transplanted my plants into their final pots. they went from a .7-.8L to a 2gal or 7.5L, all the root balls on the plants where perfect, nice white roots, maybe a bit compacted for the size and might explain why I am having some issues with them but healthy none the less. I think they will not start to grow a bit better and I will see less issues moving forward. I still have yet to get a new PH pen but I am blindly guessing the PH by adding 2 drops of phosphoric acid ph down per 1gal of feed solution. it seems to be working out just fine. After dropping my plant last week I thought it was done for. But the new light really seemed to make all the difference for her. Having her in the tent is good because I can control the humidity a little better. But to be honest I'm doing a crap job at it ... Humidity can be anywhere between 50 and 80%. When I went to work on Tuesday the plant jumped up. Amazing how much growth in just a few hours. I was thinking about whether I should top her or not. I don't think I will though because she seems like a nice sturdy little plant At the end of the week I decided she really needed to be repotted.. I thought I was pushing it going early but I got a new light in and was planning to take her off the shelf and move her to the floor so it seemed a good time. Turned out to be a good choice. She's lovely

Bonus material- my cannabutter pics. No smoke report for a while but I can give you an edibles report in a few hours 😂 Plant #1 suffered gravely and thus was harvested early, dried, and turned into beaaautiful butter/edibles hehe. The rest of it is box drying and I'll be doing the same with that. The top of the plant (first harvest of sorts, after bud rot discovered) was 49g dry, not inc ofc what was binned. I'll let you know the dry weight of the rest but no point giving you a smoke report. She was cut early and suffered a looooot The purple lemonade began as the underdog and quickly took over as my #1 babe. It was far more resilient to environmental conditions and changes- and let's not forget that they went through a hurricane with me and power out for a few days! I don't find her strong on the nose at all despite how big some of her buds are, and how frosty. Very piney, and that dominates everything else. Very excited to see what terps come out more in the cure though- I hear great things about this strain. She was cut today and is hanging in a dark closet with small fan, RH 65% and temp 22c. I did not take a wet weight, but she's heavy. Super looking forward to smoking this one, after a few more weeks of TLC... Sigh. Always we try to wait haha. It is a lot airier than I thought it was going to be, so most of it ended up as shake for edibles or something. I ended up with 38g of big bud, 33 of smaller, and over 40g of larf and shake. Even the big buds are airy though, not dense at all. A little disappointing for sure, but I made a lot of mistakes so it isn't a surprise. It is now in jars with humidity packs and I'll report back in a couple of weeks or so with a smoke report :)

Hello The pistils are turning Amber, the leaves are getting more and more purple and the buds are getting bigger by the day. Im starting to flush her now and I believe I could harvest her around 23 october, in 10 days. The smell is already delicious and powerful.

She looks so beautiful,unfortunately I could achieve the form I wanted with lst because she was planted too late but I'll grow a big rounded bush of this beautiful strain for sure, and also I can see a few leafs burned because when I started training her the leafs were to close to the tex of the pot and she got burned with the extreme sun that we have here in spain on summer,however she's thriving perfectly and she's ready to give the best in flower,let's see how this gorilla strain performs

08.08.: Blütetag 1 Heute habe ich nur noch die Triebe unter das Netz gebogen, damit alle ungefähr auf einer Höhe sind. Da der Platz nun sehr gut durch beide Pflanzen ausgefüllt ist, ist der Moment gekommen die Blüte einzuleiten. Die PBB hat schon so viele Stempel, sodass es so aussieht, als wäre sie schon in der Blüte. Daher denke ich, dass die PBB nicht lange für die Blüte brauchen wird. Wir werden es sehen. 12.08.: Blütetag 5 In den letzten Tagen seit Umstellen des Lichtzyklus und Einleiten der Blüte, sind beide Pflanzen ein gutes Stück über das Netz hinaus gewachsen. Aktuell gibt es nicht viel zutun. Leider sind einige Thripse auf den Pflanzen, aber ich habe bereits Raubmilben ausgebracht. Hoffentlich können sie die Thripse etwas in Schach halten. Außerdem habe ich die Bewässerungsdauer auf 20min, wenn das Licht angeht und nach 6h Beleuchtungsdauer, gestellt. Falls das nicht ausreichen sollte kann ich immer noch händisch nachgießen oder die Bewässerung anpassen. Den Beleuchtungsrhythmus habe ich so gewählt, dass abends um 10 Uhr das Licht angeht und morgens um 10 Uhr aus, damit die Lampe nicht während den heißen Sonnenstunden brennt. 13.08.: Blütetag 6 Die Stretchphase ist bei beiden Pflanzen noch voll im Gange. Aktuell wachsen sie durchschnittlich ca. 6cm am Tag. Ich bin gespannt, bei welcher Höhe sie ihren Stretch beenden. Das nächste Update gibts dann in Blütewoche 2.

Diese Woche wurden die Babys getoppt :) mir gefällt der neue Haarschnitt :D fleißig Lowstress Training haben sie auch hinter sich was ich bis nächste woche aufjedenfall weiterführen werde :) übernächste woche heißt es dann 12/12 :D bin gespannt
