Week 9 started, nothing much has changed from week 8, just looking at buds and trying to notice the changes in size and just checking in. Plants look well, mostly buds, some lower leaves arent that healthy but probably due to light. Still adding flower nutriens, because I think harvest could be one or two weeks away, could flush later. Not sure if I should add even more water? Cant really tell from plants. Hoping this week buds will get bigger in size, currently they seem pretty small still. Week 9 ended, plant 1 has nice big bugs, some brown-ish flowers, sad that it outgrew space, some top buds were burnt by light, plant no 2 which was under secondary light also have nice big buds (this light has more red color i think), also this plant outgrew its space and had burnt top buds from light, but it looks almost ready, lots of brown flowers, also it has leaves with marks and issues, so already started to flush it, plant no 3 has nice frosty buds, but they are smaller in size, either lightning setup didnt reach it or maybe it was because of all the stress it recieved in vegetation weeks. Defoliated plants, which I think now is kind of mistake, should remove only the big fan leaves, no the small ones, perhaps thats why plant no 3 has smaller buds, because it recieved lots of defolation lately. Changed up lightning setup and moved plants around for better light conditions. Plant no 1 or no 2 could actually be ready for harvest or in few days, im not really sure, Im waiting on all plants for harvest, because will use grow space for drying and curing. Also I've shoulde started flushing somewhere this week, now Im going to start flushing only at end of week which could be too late.

Week 2 for the solo Afghani went smooth. Looked a little slow to develop her first proper set of leaves, but the root development should help speed up her progression. Still feeding off the slow release 444 and is now regularly drinking about 2oz of water every other day. I also spritz the bottom of the outer cup to keep moisture levels high for stretching roots. She's about 36" from the light. Hoping to get a little stretch to make training easier. Added a couple new pics to get the week caught up. Stay tuned, week 3 starts training.

20 cm growth in one week! I am not even joking. This has to be the fastest that I have seen one of my plants grow. Pure genetics here. Beautiful.

Day 56 Shes Stretched out quite nicely would like a little more from her but we'll see. Shes massive still though, seems pretty healthy, giving her so many defoliations but she still looks busy af.

Hello growers, I harvested all the chicks 🐥 and La Bomba was left alone in the coop 😀💣. The aroma is sweet and spicy, hard to describe but very pleasant. The buds are dense and beautifully colored. I put them to dry in a space at 17 °C and 60% relative humidity. Peace and happy growing! ✌️

Happy Holidays! Week 4 flower and not much to report. Didn’t do anything special, just water from drip, about 1 gallon over 24hrs. Drip turns on 4x during lights on. Light seems to be hitting everywhere fairly even. 2x TSW 2000’s are at about 75%, 20-22” from canopy. I might turn them up to 100% and see how they react for the final push, and then turn them down again nearing the end. I will also top dress again soon for the last time. Fungus Gnats are around but I wouldn’t say it’s an infestation, just got to put in a few more traps and I think the “Grub Grenade” is taking care of the soil. There is a 2” layer of straw mulch to help keep them off the surface comfortably. Gorilla Glue #4 genetics from Blimburn are strong, average size branching, frosty, sweet smell right NOW, nice internode spacing for light penetration yet stacking near the top, required less defoliation. This week has been all about shaping the plant. I’ve learned from last that the colas weren’t the same height, because I let the plant do it’s things with just a bit of training. Now I know what to look for so I’m trying my hardest. I top dressed this week with crab meal, Gaia green all purpose 4-4-4, insect frass, kelp meal, bone meal, azomite, and covered it with a healthy serving of worm castings (about an inch to 2 inches). All of which was sprinkled on all the chopped and dropped leaves/branches. I believe in adding biomass to soil, especially for an indoor growing who is money conscious. Doing that can help save me money going back to the store for more soil.

Ass already said, strawberry Gorilla and Cherry Cola staid compact and didn’t stretch ass expected. I probably will chop both in a few days. Crystal Meth looks perfect, stretched a lot, a lot of flowering spots, big buds, but she might need one or two more weeks. Have no idea why the 3 plants developed so differently one from the other, as they received exactly the same attention.

Harvest Time! Meine absolute Lieblingszeit beim Growen! Nachdem die Lady ca. 1 Woche ohne Wasser war, wurde sie unten am Stamm abgeschnitten. Daraufhin hab ich mir erst mal die Pflanze angeschaut, ob sich irgendwo Schimmel gebildet hat. Gott sei Dank blieb sie davon befreit. Die Pflanze an sich wog etwa 320 g. Die kleineren Triebe wurden abgeschnitten, und die Buds daraufhin nass getrimmt. Die Blüten weisen einen Mix von Grau/Lila/Grün auf. Sehr schönes Erscheinungsbild! Die Buds bringen (inkl. Stängel) etwa 192 g auf die Waage. Der nasse Trim etwa 45 g (Tara von etwa 5g wurde hier abgezogen). Bin natürlich gespannt wie viel trocken auf die Waage kommt und vor allem wie sie am Ende schmeckt :D Die nächsten Wochen kommt dann ein smoke Review inkl. Trockengewicht! End of Week 7 CO2 is definitely increasing growth rates but also changes the game with controlling your environment now that it has to be sealed in order to not waste CO2 unnecessarily. You change one thing and it adds many other variables to keep everything in check. I am learning everyday and that's why I grow. The trellis net is doing its job and the canopy is looking nice and even. I also added a soil top-up and top dress of some BioBloom and Mycorhizae so it can start breaking down before I flip to flower next week (Slow release dry organic amendments). And the ladies are using up nutrients in the soil much faster because of the added CO2 (another variable to take into consideration - faster growth = faster nutrient consumption) In detail: -Carefully removed trellis netting -Ammended each plant individually with my soil mixture and nutrients -Placed them back in the tent -Reinstalled trellis netting and trained the ladies to shape Pest Report: Thrips VS Ladybugs... I decided to fight fire with fire - I purchased Swirski-Mites from Koppert (They are beneficial insects that feed on the eggs and larvae of thrips and other unwanted pests). As for the adult thrips - I got very lucky and found about 10 Ladybugs in my garden and decided to introduce them into my grow room as they will feed on adult thrips and any other unwanted pests. I did not spray any insecticide this week and it really seems like the ladies are happy with my new method of bio-warfare and are wilting less and less often

Perfect strain to grow, easy, fast and sweet as sugar totally covered in trichomes. The plants showed a very equaled and stable genetics and are very generous with a little care, this strain is almost like walking directly into a dutch candy shop with all kind of winegum smells, simply perfect.

This strain was easy to grow. I started out without an hygrometer. Due to delivery problems i had it very late and my girl noticed that becauce the envirement wasnt optimal for her. She did survive that period, after that she got defoliated multiple times, and i got really rough with her sometimes and broke of some stems, and that was no problem for her. I also had an encouter with thousands of thrips, which i had to nuke to remove them from my girl and she didnt even bother. In veg she was a good to handle, in flower it was a little bit harder and i think she likes alot more PK at the end of her lifetime than i offered her. But thats more of a guess. The smell matches more a cross between blueberry and lemon kush in my opinion. The gelato part is not so noticable at the end of the road.(for me atleast) But the blue in other hand is very dominant and strong by smell and taste. I ended up with hardrock buds even the smaller ones, so im very happy with the outcome. Because of my thrips invasion and usage of bioquant, i wanted to wash my buds for once to clean of all the dirt, dust, insect remains and other particles that shouldnt be in my bud. I did the oh so underrated BUDWASH, and wauw if would deffinatly recommend it to every grower with just a few plants. It really cleans your buds without effecting your potency, terps and overall buds. I also noticed that all buds dried at the same rate cause of the evenly spead moisture i guess. I ended up with 48.34 grams of hard and dry buds I took about 10 grams and turned it into superdelicious rosin because i also love to dab 😍 Thank you growdiaries for this amazing platform. Say 57, start of week 3 flower. Everything ticking along nicely so far. Tank got a full change out today. Have dropped the A&B strength slightly to EC1.4 as the last couple of days, the EC has went up 0.1 per day (hitting 2.0 today) so thinking they're happy with water at the moment for this last week of transition before full force flower (And the PK warrior starts getting added in!). pH came out at 5.5 from the mix so left it at that as this is a 1 week tank (due to PK warrior going in next week). History shows my tank rising around 0.1 per day so will do my usual daily checks just to see if any adjustments are needed but hoping this should do it for the week. She finally stopped her heightgrowth. Happy with that, because i don't have more space to hang the growlight any higher. I decided to give her more nutrients this week. She also did trink more water (4.2L in this week), although she was only exposed to the growlight and had no direct sun anymore. She smells incredibly sweet. I quite enjoy it, and sniff here every day 😅 Really curious how long it will take until i'm going to harvest her. I decided to wait until she has 60 to 80% brown trichomes. One of her leafes on the bottom still isn't looking too good and is more yellow, so i probably going to cut it in the next few days.
