Wenz004 So here we go with Fat Ass Woman.
Chose seeds from Flo. I'm only letting one of the three germinate for now... so it has to be a 100% germination rate 🤭... no selection or anything... and above all, without that hop stuff 🤭.
But later, they definitely won't go into Living Soil... even though I find Flo likable, I've come to realize that it's just a huge market where you can make good money. You just have to talk the gardeners into it and handle a lot of technical terms like "soil food web" etc... but it works. By the way, it was all copied from the Americans... like almost everything else. Over there, of course, everything is much bigger, like what Jeremy Silva does (build a soil)... I've tried two of his recipes by the way... not too bad, but still just marketing to make the cash register ring and give the gardeners a clear conscience... just try it yourself or listen to some real scientists and experts... like the good old B.B... for example here
https://youtu.be/qtXa_dAWKXc?si=nXuThrh_BhyvUSHH
From 6:14, this very topic... otherwise, happy growing 😄
Coconut soaked EC 0.7 (of which 60% distilled water, 40% tap water starting EC 0.1) and with Aptus:
All-in-one 1 ml/l
CalMag Boost 4 drops/l
Start Booster 4 drops/l
Regulator 3 drops/l
Watering will be done with an even lighter solution... bubbled tap water EC 0.4 + 4 drops/l Start Booster
So right away the seedling will be shot at 👌... let's see... it's an experiment 😉
On day 3, changed the lamp... I'm curious what the new "CreScience FLUXshield Babo 450C (160W)" can do ☀️
Update!... the lamp change on day 3 was a bad idea... the veg mode of the babo450c has a completely different spectrum than the SF1000.
Restart is going well... the second seed from Flo has also germinated super... pictures will follow soon.
Light about 200 micromol on the lid... less underneath.
Attempt #2 is going better... coco was soaked too hot... you can see it on the left leaf tip in the last picture... overall, the seedling phase is progressing too slowly... but that was probably more my fault.

Wenz004 Everything is going well so far...
EC has been slowly increased from 0.7 to 1.0
First, I went down to 0.1 - 0.2 with distilled water, then raised it to 0.4 - 0.5 with calmag.
Then added 0.5 ml of all-in-one and Startboost (about 4 drops per liter to reach the desired EC value, plus 2-3 drops of regulator).
Currently at 0.8 ml/l of all-in-one and the rest as described gives an EC of 1.0 (around day 12 after germination).
I also need to top soon 😬... The tent is only 70x70x160.
SF1000 at 100% at the beginning of the second week of veg, about 74 cm distance... around 350 micromol.

Wenz004 Almost the end of week 4, but first, let's record week 3.
EC is about 1.1
At the beginning of week 3, I repotted into a 19L fabric pot.
From Tuesday, I was away for 4 days, so I used the hoses for Blumat... it worked pretty well with the circulation pump in the tank plus "someone" was correcting the pH daily.
The video is from around October 19 to October 26, plus a bit from October 27.
Just a heads up... I’ll be away from Saturday to Wednesday (week 4) too... just that "someone" wasn't there and Blumat got clogged... the plant suffered, but spoiler alert... the lady with the big a** was saved.
Aptus seems to be unsuitable for Blumat... had fewer problems with TA in an older grow... but Aptus is still my favorite for now.

Wenz004 Gradually adjusting EC to 1.3 - 1.4
In the first 4 days in the video, hardly any growth (was away)...Blumat was clogged...leaves have become incredibly thin and the bottom large ones are wilting...from the middle of week 4, I could intervene...then did a bit of manual LST (bent by hand) and defoliated...a bit later stretched the scrog net and pulled the plant nicely wide. Overall, the plant has quickly recovered and continues to thrive.
Today switched to 12h (I'm so excited...SF1000 out and SF2000 in (fills the entire width of the tent out😬)...initially about 45 cm distance and 80% still photons about 40% more...in a few days I'll go to 100%...I've also already installed side lights (Niello T8) but haven't turned them on yet...maybe it will be too much but I like to experiment...3 options...the plant will either take off...it will die...or it won't affect anything except the electricity bill.

Wenz004 Trimmed a bit at the bottom
First week with 12 hours went well so far.
From the middle of week 5, the water consumption has significantly increased to 3 liters per day... Transpiration is now high... humidifier out
The day after turning up to 100% (SF2000), the tips of the leaves suspiciously pointed upwards... removed one hanger and directly hung the wire cables using carabiners on the upper bar... turned the light back down to 90%... now the tips are good again... more changes to come as we progress

Wenz004 2nd net is up... you never know how heavy the buds will get beforehand🙊
Stretch is slowly coming to an end... so this strain would be perfect for my little tent at 160 cm if you start flowering after just 4 weeks
Side lighting will be turned on next week... around the middle of the 8th week

Wenz004 Got a bit fatter, you can only see it in the time-lapse a little. Otherwise, nothing happened.
And... due to a nutrient mistake, the tips got a bit burned.👍

Wenz004 I shot the plant a bit.
Already at the end of week 9, it became clear that 200 W on 100% plus side light of 70 W is too much. All the leaf edges are burned. Now at the top, it's 80%.
The buds are only increasing a little. Transpiration has decreased. Noticeable through less humidity and less water consumption. It could be due to the damaged leaves.
Nevertheless, the buds look very delicate 😃...and smell that way too.

Wenz004 Unfortunately, flower growth is limited due to reduced transpiration from burned leaf edges. But I'm still really looking forward to the harvest. Overall, there was too much light from the addition of the 4 side lights starting at the end of the stretch, but the lower buds look really tasty!

Wenz004 Trichomes haven't necessarily matured after a week. Annoying with LED growing in general. Still, the harvest will definitely happen by the end of next week.
It went really well. The stretch was just how I love it. Perfect for my next grow with the Blueberry Muffin, Jelly Donutz, and hmmmm still need to choose the 4th strain. I'll keep an eye on your reports, growmie.
Just restarted. It probably made more sense; the regeneration can really test your patience. But I would top only after the 4th node or at the earliest after the third. I also grew on Coco for a few years and bought no-name bricks (what an idiot) that weren't buffered the first time. After a total failure, I ordered Canna Coco, and from then on, everything went smoothly. Good luck with this run.
@Stony_German, I'm using the bricks from ugro...the ones with Trichoderma...I had very good results with my MILF project...I topped today after the 3rd node...actually the 4th...but I think the side branches from the first will be underdeveloped and will be cut anyway...hoping for 6 good main colas.
I'm curious to see how they perform. I also bought a pack of Pawg and Bohemian Raspberry during the Garden Eden anniversary just for sometime later. I'm a bit of a collector of too many seed packs. I have some plans for my current run and the next one as well. I'm excited to follow your grow. And yes, I totally agree with you, Living Soil sounds so professional but is overrated. I've loved going organic for a few years now, but I had just as good results with my "soil-salt food web" for many years with mineral nutrients. 😏😉
