04/05/2025 - 84 day Finally harvested😇 both strains smells like a mix of tropical skittles also if they're quite different, Flushed 2 week ago then just watering, very happy with my harvest, waiting summer time for enjoy it, harvest week for dried buds pics in three weeks or one month.

This grow will be a very humbling experience being this is my first full grow from seedling to harvest and figured I would bring others along for this journey with me, hopefully some of you viewers may even have insight to any future problems I should have or run into. I had some Explosive growth this week at least to me it seams like it haven’t seen my girls in a week I must say I’m Impressed this crazy how I’m better with clones then Germinating seeds anyway that’s it tell next week with these girls oh yeah regular water for next feed for my record

Hey now, hope everyone is having a safe weekend. I currently have the Spectrum X running at 100% power and have upped the time on the UV/IR bars to 90 minutes just prior to lights off. I am super happy with this light so far, she puts out impressive PAR, and runs fairly cool. The only thing I would change is to have individual timers for the different spectrums. I did hear from another grower that Medic Grow does sell a controller that has this feature for $300. Not much to do this week other than keep the reservoir full and in the correct PH range. The tomatoes outside are absolutely loving the runoff from these autos, as that is all they have had to drink since they were about 3 weeks old. Deep Forest has a great smell but Is still growing. She has not had a point where she has tried to finish. So hopefully it is still good and just bulking a lot. I would like her to finish up though. She’s now in week 3 of bloom and the buds start to thicken up. As the buds need light and air now, I bent down some of the outer branches this week at day 47 to give the canopy more space. She took it well and takes up the whole 60x60 surface now. Smell is rather weak yet.

Happy this seed was successful to germinate! This is an organic run with Green Gro in Ocean Forest. Trying some new air pots at my local grow shop, $7 vs $30. Nothing exciting yet. Looking forward to sharing the progress.

Trichomes: The Frosty Frontier This week, the focus is all about those frosty beauties! • Trichomes are the key indicators of ripeness and cannabinoid production. Watching their progression from clear to cloudy to amber provides the ultimate insight into maturity. • Currently, we’re seeing a fantastic mix of cloudy trichomes with some clear still hanging around – a perfect sign that they’re gearing up for their final push. • Fun fact: Trichomes serve as the plant’s natural defense mechanism, protecting it from UV rays and pests while being our treasure trove for cannabinoids and terpenes. Spectrum Tuning: The Science of Light Light plays a major role in shaping the maturation process, and this week, we’ve dialed in the spectrum for optimal results. Here’s the breakdown: • Whites: Running at 77% to maintain robust overall growth and trichome density. • Deep Reds, Far Reds, and UV: Maxed out at 100% to mimic the end-of-season spectrum, signaling the plants to finish strong. • Deep Reds: Enhance photosynthesis efficiency through the Emerson effect. • Far Reds: Promote stretch and flowering hormone production. • UV: Stimulates trichome production for an extra boost of frost! These subtle timing tricks help reduce stress while optimizing light absorption, ensuring every photon counts! 🌞 Environmental Conditions: Precision is Key Here are the dialed-in parameters for the week: • Temps: 26.3°C • RH: 70.1% • CO2: 800 ppm • VPD: 1.03 kPa With these numbers, the ladies are thriving in their sweet spot, absorbing nutrients efficiently while maximizing trichome development. Lighting Power: • Lower layer at 800 PPFD and the upper layer shining bright at 1500 PPFD. The canopy coverage is perfect for even development throughout the garden.
