2nd time doing Brix levels...some ladies went from a Brix of 4 to a Brix of 10 while 2 only went from a Brix of 4 to 6. I am pleased with their progress upwards. Dam just learned you should take leaves for testing 2 hours after lights on....I took leaves from dark period 😣. Will update with new Brix numbers taken with lights on. Chopping is coming very soon. I will tag the Brix of each plant when I hang to dry so I'm able to keep track of how the higher Brix relates to taste, smell and potency😎 😁The ladies noticeably got fatter over night!(Nov 11th). Man they really enjoyed that last watering, hope this continues into next week. Just read to take your Brix leaves in a "Z" or "W" pattern as older leaves will contain higher carbs. The refracted light tells us the amount of carbs in the "juice or sap" and minerals too like calcium, proteins and fats (lipids). High Brix enables weed to produce secondary metabolites = greater medicinal value. Sucrose/sugar (Carbs) & mineral levels in the fruit or flower translates or relates to taste. A tasteless 3 Brix tomato from the grocery store or a 14 Brix tomato from OMG you grow delicious tomatoes. Death to covalent bonding! (My goal a 20 Brix😀 Won't be happening with this grow but will be the next😁). Read that most people can detect a half point difference in Brix in the flavour. Lots of smell coming from these Gorilla Girls😵 I can only go so far with plant chemistry and then I get a headache and get lost😔

Hi everyone :-) This week a lot of nice things happened in the flower tent :-) Everyone looks super nice, and is growing stronger and more beautiful week by week 😍👌. The blue cheese smells like a dream ;-) As usual from this variety 👍. The kosher tangie is also very, very tasty 👏🏻. Both got Pk 13/14 this week for the last time :-) Everyone else is developing very well 👍, That will be the last diary with several strains together :-) In future everyone will come individually 👌. Looks like I had a small deficiency of sorts (calcium I think) and I'm feeling optimistic about the corrective actions I took. However, I think it is time to change my nutrients up, the sooner the better. plants are sagging and are in need of soil to hold the nutrients so ill re-pot mid week

Shes about 6 inches from the light. Probably going to shorten the legs on the stand so the top buds dont get fried too bad. Already getting some yellowing from the light. Dutch buckets in a 5 ft tent ain't a great idea. Buds aren't stacking up very fat so far but building some trichomes. Just keeping the reservoir full and the water pumping.

-plants are looking good but trichomes still need time -only fertilized the Mimosa and Gorilla Z because Blue Sunset looked a bit overfed -nothing much else to say, just waiting for the right moment to cut them down ;) Happy for any comment :)

This time using 2.5 ml/L Plagron Hydro A & B and 1 ml/L Plagron CalMag Pro, mixed into a total of 13 liters of water (the bucket turned out to be bigger than expected, according to the Amazon specs 15L). pH adjusted to 5.5 using Hesi pH-. During the water change, I lifted the SCROG net briefly to check on the roots – they’re looking great: bright, healthy, and strong. Net was repositioned afterward. The light is now running at level 8 out of 10, delivering around 800 PPFD in the center and about 700 PPFD at the edges, with a distance of 35 cm to the canopy – everything’s well dialed in! ————— 🗓️ Woche 5 – Nährlösung, Netz & Licht-Feinschliff In Woche 5 gab’s ein frisches Nährstoff-Update: Die komplette Lösung wurde ausgetauscht – diesmal mit 2,5 ml/L Plagron Hydro A & B sowie 1 ml/L Plagron CalMag Pro auf insgesamt 13 Litern Wasser Eimer misst mehr als gedacht – laut Amazon-Beschreibung 15L. Another great week for the girls, I have not seen a single deficiency, other than the odd yellowed leave under the canopy, typically due to lack of light. I will come through soon and do a defoliation of both tents to allow for more light to penetrate, and perhaps get a good push for some girthy colas 😋. I have lowered the temps a bit in the tents by controlling my lung room temps, and they are maxing out at 77 degrees and hitting a night time cool of about 70. I have also lowered the humidity to hover between 47 and 52 %. Hopefully will start to get some nice colours as they finish. As I mentioned before, when I water is when I like to get under the canopy and check the stems and leaves for anything that shouldn’t be… and typically once a week after watering I’ll wipe down the tent and sanitize any surface I can. There is no reason to get lazy, that’s how you get Pests, Mold, and PM. Happy Gardening 🇨🇦👊❤️

I deliberately missed a week as not much is happening during flower stage. The mandarin punch auto is alive but not really kicking, on paper it has about 4/5 weeks left but I'm still feeling like it should be further along at this stage. The smell is virtually nonexistent and the buds are not much bigger than my thumbnail and not dense at all, nutrient lockout? The lemonade OG auto from real gorilla seeds has caught up with the mandarin punch despite being 2/3 weeks behind but I'm now feeling like she has stalled as well, maybe it's just me getting paranoid, on the up side the lemonade OG stinks amazing.
