Into flower we go and so far she looks really damn fine! I keep her very low whit lst because my grow space doesn’t allow high plants right now 😂 But I love lst, it gives me time to sit beside my tent and just play with my girls 😂

Following med-teks feed chart. Feeding heaviest nutrients (2.7 EC) runoff currently just over 3.0. Going to need to do a small flush to and start reducing ec prior to actual flushing phase. Advised by my local hydro shop to reduce EC down to 1 before hitting the plants with the heavier nutrients. Only started applying this method 2 weeks ago. Seems to be ok. Would appreciate some opinions but!

Well, here we are. 12 weeks of training, topping and pruning, she is filling the net and and in good shape for flowering. I will be making the switch to 12/12 today, so this was the last week of veg for this girl. Since going into the larger tent, she has had much better light, and she has responded with lots of new growth. She has been screaming for more nutes. Currently feeding Megacrop at 6g a gallon. I use R.O. water, and total EC of the Megacrop along with Cal Mag is 2.0, which is quite high (I think it is anyway, I've only grown autos before), but the solution in the Autopot trays is still reading 0.3 EC lower than the res, and there is not a trace of burn on her. I really have no idea how far I can push a plant of this size, so I'll let someone else tell me if this is too high. I estimate that by the time I've added Bud Explosion into the mix, the max EC at peak is going to be somewhere around 2.2-2.3, at which point I will be starting to lower N levels and will be dropping from there on. I'd love to hear input from anyone who has some experience with plants that have had longer veg times as to whether these levels are considered 'OK'. She certainly seems happy enough and is thriving for now, and I've been letting her guide the nute levels from the color of the leaves rather than sticking to a feeding calculator. I'm estimating a flowering period of 10-12 weeks, which goes well into UK summertime, which means it going to be super hot in the daytime, so I'll be doing the lights off period during the day, and lights on overnight when it's cooler and I can max out the Kingbrite without overheating the tent. Also, having only grown autos before, I've never had to worry about light intrusion as I just keep them 24/0. I never appreciated how much of the shit in the tent has little bloody lights on it. Had to go round taping up LED's on a few things to make it completely dark. I've also put the monitoring cam on the same timer as the lights, as it has an infrared sensor, so the power to the cam is cut at lights out. I've kept a fairly detailed feeding summary on a spreadsheet. As this grow seems to be going fairly well (so far) I may go back and update previous weeks with a bit more detail in case anyone is interested. tl;dr Flipping to 12/12 this week, growth good, girl hungry, Bud Explosion gonna be added to the mix this week, starting around 0.5g a gallon. Happy days :)

Day 82. Its 81 day from seed touched soil ! If leaves would be healthier, i would run them at least one more week, but it is, what it is. They spent 24 hours in darkness and now its Trim Jail !!! ;))) Harvest Day ! Day 88. Tried bud from each, clearest weed straight from drying rack ! Only 3 feeds makes huge difference to harshness at the beggining. Still Queen is pure Tangie, can it be seed mistake ? ;))) Day 89. Boy i am f@ckingly surprised !!! Well, this slow started lady has started to take off. Any concerns about her slow start are gone. Root system is extending nicely into her new home, She is not drinking a ton, but that is of no surprise at this age. I can confirm, I did start her off a little low in her net pot, but next week, when she gets topped, I will be able to add some extra clay pellets for stability.

So this plant is phenomenal with her recovery abilities. At this point, she recovered from her previous topping only 7 days ago, and grown the final 2 inches I was waiting for. As of 4/26, she is now on 12/12. Additional nutrients will be added to her for her flower period. Time-lapse again had an error, this time, I swear, it was not me. Looks like the camera and server stopped communicating until both were restarted. So as a reference, this plant is now 10 weeks from seed. She has been topped 3 times for a total of 8 crowns. I expect harvest to be approximately 10 weeks from now. But we all know how far expectations can take us.

This week has had amazing results, she was already growing at a fast pace and then started her pre flower stretch yesterday! She’s a beauty like her sister purple punch! She was number 2 to pop up (strawberry pie) and took to training straight away top of the class on mission catch up to purple... I defoliated and tied down through the weak shape shifting her into a lovely little bush! She has started to show signs that she also will start her pre flower stretch, so I’m excited to see what happens! I shuffled them around to suit age height etc as I will have to start raising my lights! In bloom I set these mars hydro leds to 12” and 18” during veg!

WEEK 8 (04/18/2021 - 04/24/2021) Day 59: 04/18/2021 Defoliated some growth from each plant before I installed my custom-built SCRoG net made of: pvc piping, drywall screws, and jute twine for the netting. It’s slightly smaller than the tent, 41”x41” with a second level for another net. It fits perfectly, leaving plenty of room to work around the edges and move the fan around if needed. Immediately after defoliation and installing the net, I watered using ½ strength Botanicare Hydroguard. Watering was different. I used a battery-powered liquid transfer pump to help water the plants a little faster and more efficiently. Also helps to reach the plants I can’t access as easily in the corner. I am unable to test/collect any of the runoff at the moment since installing the net, which wouldn’t be an issue by itself, but my saucers are just barely large enough to fit the base of the 5 gallon pots into. I have no way of sticking a pH pen or TDS meter in the runoff. They simply won't fit between the pot and the saucer. This is extremely unfortunate, as I am now unable to monitor the ppm of the soil with each watering. Will have to pick up some larger saucers soon or think of another solution. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Day 61: 04/20/2021 ‘Tis the season to be medicated. Happy Holidaze! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Day 62: 04/21/2021 Upping the amount of water going into the pots this watering. Previously I was doing 1 gallon of water per 5 gallon pot. I’m increasing the amount of water to 1.5 gallons. Hopefully that will produce enough runoff for taking measurements. It’s going to be a painfully difficult task to take readings but I really need to know what the condition of the soil is right now. Will not be using any nutrients this time considering the runoff was kind of high when I fed on 4/10. This seems a little risky though since it has been 11 days since a nutrient feed, but I’d rather not burn the plants by blindly adding nutrients. Will return. Hopefully with measurements. (some amount of time later) Tap water: 245ppm, 6.1 pH (9 gallons) pH Down: 30ml JB#1 - 2730ppm, 7.0 pH JB#2 - 2290ppm, (pH pen died again on this plant) AP#1 - 2380ppm, 6.9 pH AP#2 - 3610ppm (seems extremely high), 7.0 pH GC#1 - 2320ppm, 6.9 pH GC#2 - 2340ppm, 7.1 pH I don’t know what was up with the measurements on the AP#2. The saucers the pots are sitting in are a little small so I think the ppm might have been reading high because the bottom of the fabric pot was sitting in the runoff. Maybe I’m just saying that to reassure myself. Either way, the 3000+ ppm seemed very off. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Day 66: 04/24/2021 Defoliation + weaving/securing branches through SCRoG. I'm not 100% sure that the SCRoG was the most optimal technique of choice given the very limited space within the grow tent. Also, I almost feel like I installed the screen a little late. Maybe not? Either way, I have read about them and the potential of increased yields, which got me excited enough to build one to try out for myself. I was aware going into it that there would be some difficulties using a SCRoG. I can no longer move my pots around is the main thing. Not being able to move the pots around has increased the difficulty factor of watering/feeding. I now have to access 3 different sides of the tent to get all 6 plants. I've clipped all the ties holding the branches down from previous LST sessions. There was just no way I was going to spend hours weaving in and out of all the ties trying to water each plant while also dealing with the difficulties of a SCRoG obstructing the work space. That would also wreck my poor back. From here, things are going to get real exciting. Tomorrow (04/25) I am rescheduling the light cycle to 12/12 to initiate flowering. Another 60-70 days to go, growing buds and packing on trichomes. With that said, I'm excited to have made it through my very first full vegetative cycle. I've definitely made my fair share of mistakes, as expected, but as long as I keep learning from them future harvest will only continue to increase in quality and yield. Last week went well. She has grown tremendously in the last two weeks. Most growth has taken place in the last week. Over a foot of stretch. Because she was growing so much faster than the other autos, I put her in her own spot with her own Mars Hydro ts600 so I can adjust the light height just for her. I'm hoping she starts stacking on some bud. It seems like she isn't going to be a purple pheno, but oh well. As long as she turns out decent. She responded well to topping, lst and supercropping. She also seems to like the organic diet. I will update as she progresses. Until next time happy growing to everyone! 4/30- She is still stretching some but not as much. Starting to add bud mass. The bud is starting to get a purple coloration to it like I had hoped. Next time she will be grown with a soil mix that has 35% coco coir in no less than a 5 gallon aerated fabric pot to maximize the potential. I am also going to make sure she has the best lighting from the start. Because she wasn't as close as she should have been at first, that is why I think she is as lengthy. Just going to get a feel for her and improve for the next grow of this strain. Will update as she progresses.

This is my first grow and I'm following the canuck method because it's the easiest . Eventually I would like to get into high frequency fertigation with a coco medium but I want to produce a great smoke in soil first to get some experience.
