Week 13 for Lemon OG by SSSC I was planning on topping her as shes doing so well now but her branches are so thin im going to wait on it. Shes looking quite nice though first time in a while.

Very variable weather, summer is at the end, temperature drops quickly, even 60 °F. I was out for 3 days, on my return I found the three girls who were starting to wither but they were promptly watered. No damage to report. The yellowing of the lower canopy has started. Acceptable weather forecast until 10 September. I bought 5 transparent PCV tarps to protect them extemporaneously from the rain. Stigmas are all formed, very vigorous bud structure. This beast still shows some signs of K deficiency despite feeding her regularly. For now, the nutrients are barely enough to stabilize the typical leaf discoloration. Gonna double the dose. Critters avoid her like the plague. Expected harvest time october 1st/2nd week.

Watering has jumped up to every 2 days ph 6.3-6.8 with 20% runoff Flower Fuel has been added to AP,GG and ZK watering's. Lights have been lowered to 24-28 inches. White Widow just started flower at end of the week. Still waiting on the Cream Cookie. Doing light Defoliation to expose bud sites to the lights.

3 of the 4 plants didn't do much stretching at all. I'm excited to compare the harvest between all of them too see which yields more. The one plant that did stretch seems like it will take a little bit longer than the others to be ready, but I am not sure. Had I known they wouldn't have stretched much I would have considered some light defoliation to increase light pen but this will be a nice experiment. As of 11/23 the plants have stopped doing any vertical growing and I can tell the buds are starting to fatten up a bit and getting frosty. I am leaving the tent open now 24/7 to help control the humidity, trade-off is I can smell the plants from my office two stories up. The sent is very fresh and fruity so it's not so bad. We will see how my family feels when they visit for Thanksgiving 😆

Week 15. 50 days of growth, 49 days flowering, stalled in between (growth phase), which was a good thing, it allowed time to go by and 2 plants were gone by the time she was coming into heavy flower and RH was in a much more desired range of 50-55 still high I know but the last 2 weeks I've been able to bring her right down. I know it's a little to late. But it has frosted up. I'm going to try 2 get more trichs for her final week. I've taken most her fan leafs and some sugar leafs, will hopefully send the plant into an overdrive of sorts and will force the plant to defend itself releasing more sugars and movemebt of fluids to stressed parts. Also I took half of lots of sugar leafs and the remaining fan leafs I cut halfs off. Dunno if this will help but I'm trying new things here, well new for my understanding, not new new (Targeted defol to get extra trichs/resin). Put her on a flush, just 3l she was still eating ppm was 150 from 1l of run-off I caught tap water is 78ppm. Topped her up with flawless finish today her 1st 1l 1 9f 2 for this week she'll get water then another flawless finish on day 6 and ill keep her on that and 1 more watering tben imto dsrk windoe 36-48hrs. Will hang dry, hopefully the whole plant. And will give her a l of water before harvest to prolong drying time for a 10-14 day dry at 55-60%rh 19-21c. Thanks for reading. This will possible be the last update if things get frontier as a result of what I did I'll post updates but what I'm gonna do is already planned. So update will only be on if quality has improved by eye. 16/4/22 Targeted defoliation and trimming the sugar leafs, (be sure just to take some leaf, not frosted). It'll send your plant into overdrive and it'll think she's been eaten alive and it'll force her to defend and prop herself up increasing in resin/long trichs. This is all theory btw. As there is no real way to tell if this works, you'd only know by growing this stain many many times and doing 50/50 And you might, might be able to tell if it's had an impact. But it wont hurt, that's if u don't take too much. So, I checked over and over and over her. Ponderd and then paused, smoked a few blunts, many bongs later and an hour goof. After taking a look after her 12hr rest her stigma is so little and she's flushed. Stopped eating more or less. Maybe she could do with another week. But sadly, 102 days is all I can Will be in the 55-57 day window of flowering after rest. So Barneys are solid in flowering time, id say she'd of only been an 12-13 wker like the zkittlez organic, as when there is little trouble or stalls barneys grow windows are usually spot on. They both gotta come out tbh . Zkittlez I'm going to push to the last day I possibly can. I plan to heavily feed this girl with water tonight (TDA), tomorrow and then 1hr again before harvest. This hopefully will prolong the drying time. When chopped all her sugar, fan leafs will be left on. After she dries for 4-5 days I'll trim off all sugar/fan leafs without frost and then after she's fully dry I'll trim to get to the end product and of course I'll be smoking all frosty trim, if there's enough I'll try my hand at bubble hash. We shall see, either way it'll be smoked as it's frosty as crap. This plant has been a true gem to work with Barneys has truly out did themselves. This was my tester, it was a freebie test seed that was dropped and I was just going to plant q zkittlez but ended up putting my hand in my pocket and guess what, there was a TDA seed it. I was sitting down and dropped it, thought fell through the sofa after it popped out of the seal and thankfully she got planted, as she would of been just another zkittlez, I love it and all, but I'm a little tired of smoking the same stuff tbh. It's lovely and all, but a bit of variety and all that good stuff! Happily I'm going to get some nice and frosty TANGERINE DREAM AUTO. Who knows what she'll give. Day 82 - Added a new nutrient to bulk up on PK from Canna. Guide says to do this only once, so fingers crossed. Still trying to figure out how close I am. I keep seeing other pictures of what look to be near leafless buds, and the buds look absolutely huge. The problem for me as a first time grower is that I cannot figure out what the scale is, and so have no idea if the photos I see are very close up or not. Also, I keep seeing others pictures of what look to be really extended and pointy buds, and mine look nothing like those either. Can't tell if it's the angle or the actual shape. I'm sure I'll learn, and I'm pretty sure I'm on the right track. Loving the learning though. Such fun. And macro photography is hard.
