Smells like fresh cut grass with a hint of lemon, the smell is weak, only noticeable at max 0.5m away from the plant. Day 21: Started feeding biobizz bio-grow 0.6ml/l. Every watering I do is 500ml, every 2-3 days depending on how moist the soil is. The plant seems to be positively reacting to LST. Also, I accidentally tore one of the leaves while doing LST, but it seems to not be a problem. Day 25: Started feeding 0.6ml/L biogrow in 500ml water daily. She's starting to get thirsty. Day 63 Flowering : I think I am in the final days with this beautiful, easy to grow , fun to train and potent smelling Queen. She has been really responsive to her training and stayed put once flowering began. Her bud structure has been excellent to fit into my environment too. Node spacing was nice and tight so no long gaps between the growth. I did run into a bud rot issue that was resolved quickly and not shown up again with the Rh at 40%. The trichromes are milky and there are some Amber's knocking around too so when the lights go off this evening, I will begin their dark before chop time. Smelling her sweetness and feeling the sticky solid buds has me excited to get a sample of her as soon as she is dried. I cannot wait to see the final , cured result soon. I am looking forward to the next run of this strain in Sweet seeds auto xl version along with Gorilla girl xl and sweet cheese too. Excellent work guys.

Flowering day 37 since time change to 12/12 h. Hey guys :-) The buds have developed incredibly nicely this week. The smell is getting more and more extreme :-) . The whole plant itself looks perfect 👍. The growth has slowly stopped as the full energy goes into the production of the buds. This week it was watered 3 times with 1.2 l each (nutrients see table above) They were individually inspected and checked for their health. Osmosis water for the coming week was refilled in a 100 l tank 👍. Plants responded well to topping/fimming. They all have 4/6 main stems. Training them to get a bit of a canopy going. Cookies kush is def a keeper. Gonna try clone it. My clone games weak though.

It's now the start of Week 6. I defoliated like 4 fan leaves because they were disgustingly huge, 😅. So I added the "Defoliation" grow technique. 😆

This plant did not need a lot of defoliation if any at all. I just trimmed some of the lower nodes off as they would not get all that much light once it started to stretch and tied back some of its branches so it was a bit more even. The growth pattern on this plant vs the others in the tent this aorund is completely different. its so floppy and bendy, I have a feeling I am going to need to break a lot of branches come flower time to keep it from sky rocketing to the top of the tent. This will be the last week they are in Veg and switching to flower cycle next week with a 12/12 photoperiod. I was going to try a 13/11 but I wanted to test out the automatic light functions on the Medic Grows Minisun-2, So this will be relieved next week. Been having issues with PH in the medium again and some nutrient uptake. I am thinking I will switch to another brand I have to use up, trip tonic from my last grow on the balcony. Its a bit more complex and not as easy as mix into water and feed but I think its going to help me solve a lot of the issues I am getting. Given this update is a few days late some of these pics are not from today. the clones in the photos above are from the beginning of the week when I potted them up. They have not done well at all and may not make it. can only hope for the next few weeks they pull through. This is my favorite smoke, had this cut for about 2 years. Came from the best bag of runtz I ever bought, got a few ozs and 3 big nugs each had 1 seed. And I got this, im excited to actually document it. Only one of these got trained. I cut the top off for a clone and spread her legs lol. Rest are straight up clones.

The Slurricane IX is a beast of a plant to grow, the growth is quick and quite bushy. I would advise to train these plants SCROG..or something.. the stretch is just crazy..im gona say prepare for a 200% + stretch. Thy will easily get out of of control if not managed well. Pest resistance is good, i did not have any bug problems, but i did have a small WPM issue, but it was very crowded in there. Sorted it out by defoliation and a treatment of hydrogen peroxide took care of the problem. Very thirsty plants, at there peak, 9 plants was drinking 110L a week. Very stong smelling plants. Extremely dense flowers covered in a sluricane of trichomes. Harvest of the plant is quite easy, not a very bushy cola..so its a easy trim. Overall a great genetic to grow and a beautiful plants in itself. @InHouseGenetics .. superb. Thank you guys so much for giving us the privilege to grow such amazing genetics. Keep up the great work. Added 10L to the reservoir, and turned it on for a couple of minutes. 11-4 Temperature: 24.4 degrees (lights on) 21 degrees (lights off) Humidity: 61% (highest) 52% (lowest) 12-4 Temperature: 25.5 degrees (lights on) 22 degrees (lights off) Humidity: 65% (highest) 57% (lowest) Turned the reservoir on for a couple of minutes. 13-4 Temperature: 26.5 degrees (lights on) 23 degrees (lights off) Humidity: 65% (highest) 56% (lowest) 14-4 Temperature: 26.4 degrees (lights on) 22.1 degrees (lights off) Humidity: 64% (highest) 45% (lowest) Turned the reservoir on for a couple of minutes. The reservoir is almost empty, there is 850 ml left. 15-4 Temperature: 24.4 degrees (lights on) 20 degrees (lights off) Humidity: 59% (highest) 49% (lowest) No pictures. 16-4 Temperature: 23.5 degrees (lights on) 19.5 degrees (lights off) Humidity: 60% (highest) 53% (lowest) Today i defoliated both plants heavily for the last time, you can say i did a method called: schwazzing. Dont know why but while i was defoliating the Chemdog smelled a little bit like soap haha. Turned on the reservoir for a couple of minutes. (Till the AutoPots are full and the valve closes) Rised the pots aswell, so the canopy is very even. I let them recover from the heavy defoliation i did, and next week i will slowly increase the light's strength. (Now still at 50% 50cm)
