therealgrowmie Things are starting off well.
All three seeds have germinated, and the seedlings look healthy and strong. To support root development early on, I added BioBizz Root Juice—a step that made sense to me, since a solid root structure is crucial for fast-growing plants like autoflowers.
Wish them luck!

therealgrowmie Things are looking a bit grim, fam.
Even though all three seeds sprouted, the young plants are showing a few irregularities.
The bright spots on the leaves suggest a nitrogen deficiency, but given how small the plants still are, it’s more likely that the issue is genetic rather than nutritional - no pun intended - , rooted in the genes.
The leaves are also oddly shaped, which further points to less-than-ideal genetic traits in terms of structure and aesthetics.
That said, growth seems acceptable for now. We'll give it at least another 7 days to see how things develop before considering a restart.
Stay tuned, Growmies!
Bonus: Basil and chillis!

therealgrowmie Things are pretty easy breezy, since we are keeping it simple! The odd-looking leaf growth is evening out with new growth. The conditions of the environment are pretty ideal, with lots of nutrients in the soil and a little Root Juice to kick off the early vegetative phase. VPD is at 0.57 kPa across the board, and the lamp is hitting with 500 PPFD, while the temperature is at 27 degrees Celsius when the lamp is on and 20 degrees when the lights are off. I do run the lamp at nighttime to avoid high temperature peaks during the daytime in the simplest of ways.

therealgrowmie Hi Growmies! And... oops—I used low stress training on the plants!
The reason? A very unfortunate growth pattern on two of them that I wanted to improve. Sure, I could have waited and just elevated the plants—but to be honest, I’ve watched a ton of YouTube videos of successful runs with LST, and I just couldn’t help myself. So... that’s that.
The goal was to even out the canopy, so I bent the plants down and tried to open up the nodes for better light exposure. I used wire and clips—looks a little messy, but I’m optimistic it improved the situation.
Next time, I might even try topping!
