I always find it hard to say how much water they are taking because the whole auto pot thing. It would be more useful to maybe have an option to be able to change the unit because it would be way easier for me to say how much water has been put in the res during the week - sometimes even that’s hard to remember for me!
Aaaaanyway, things are going fine in the grow - I turned down the light just a tiny bit as the pistols were showing signs of having too much light and they were just looking a little bleached out, so I turned down the light to around 80-90% as well as I think I raised it a little bit also.
It’s much harder keeping everything stable in such a small space when I am used to having a room to use but oh well, it is what it is - I am really lucky / stupid to be doing this one, however, I also went into the grow knowing I may have to kill her at any moment - dependant upon visits etc. I know photo growers always say there is no difference in speed between autos and photos but there is a couple of weeks in it most of the time - at the very least. I tried it, my last proper grow I selected all fairly fast flowering photos (not those photos that have been bred with autos to make them quick but just generally fast flowering plants) and it still took longer than my longest auto has taken and it annoyingly Hermes so had to turn into hash coz it was super annoying.) but that’s all in the past now…
So I haven’t had to resort to using my AC yet but I did get a 1/4 of the price knocked off because it doesn’t work with the app properly and that’s basically what it was sold on! Don’t go to klarstein, people!
She’s def been stretching for sure but I remember this being a really squat plant anyway and I have also trained it in a bit of an odd manner so that it grew outwards with a flatter canopy - I wouldn’t top in future. I don’t really know why I did - maybe because I always have (for the most part) but I think she’d have grown taller and had bigger side branching if I hadn’t but having said that it is pretty much impossible to tell! Unless you do an A/B test - which I obviously don’t have room for!
In the next week I am hoping to see her get really hairy and hoping to have to attach a carbon filter - as that would mean she’s happy and I’m going to get some dank.
With regards to expected harvest - I genuinely have no idea. She averages at around 2.5z/plant going on the info put into grow diaries and that it about what I got last time - I don’t think I ever weighed it tbh coz I grew it just to turn into rosin. Having said that, it is a totally different set up and the first time I am using this light, so I’m not sure of the capabilities of what is probably a 120-140w light - now I have dimmed it down. I mean, I guess if she was starved for light I wouldn’t have had to turn it down so I’m confident it can produce sticky buds. I will also turn it up to full power in the last couple weeks.
She’s meant to be a 10 week or 70 day strain - and I hope that is true because I am going on holiday in early July so I can’t have her going on and on and on. She will have to be cut when she will have to be cut - and maybe hung whilst I am away with the ability to control the environment over Wi-Fi (and probably a camera). Iv just looked at dates and actually she can go on for 13 weeks and so it is all good - she should still be drying by the time I go there and should be ready for me when I get back - I’ll be doing a dry trim as I always do just because it slows down the drying process even more - although actually to be fair the main reason I used to do that was I didn’t have seperate climate control for drying and couldn’t use the tent as was on a perpetual grow. This time I’ll be able to set it tov 60%/60f and hopefully keep it there for a full couple of weeks.
Obviously I get rid of big the fan leaves and also chop it into smaller branches but other than that I prefer to do it all dry - saves your choppers for one thing!

After 2 weeks I chose my favorite plant of the three and prepared her for the Autopot. Now she needs to root this pot for another 2 weeks before we can turn on the Aqua Valve and the tank.

The girls are doing WELL. My autos (Blackberry and NYC Diesel) are mid-flush now and will be chopped down this weekend. The Blackberry is a beautiful purple and the NYC Diesel is dense and chunky - both smell amazing!!!
My photos are chugging right along also. The DinaFem Critical+ is definitely in the lead as far as bud development at this stage, with Seedsman Cream & Cheese CBD in a close second, followed by DinaMed CBD+ and the Cherry Hemp plants.
This week I fed/watered 3 times (basically once every other day). The first time I fed with Recharge, Mammoth P and Big Bloom. The second time, I fed with Mr B’s Green Trees Bloom and Cal Mag. The third time was water only.
***January 26, 2019 update***
Cut down the FastBuds Blackberry and Barneys Farm NYC Diesel today and added a pic of the hanging branches.
The NYC Diesel buds are much more dense than the Blackberry. The Blackberry buds are pretty loose and airy. I'm curious to see what they look like after drying for a week. Stay tuned..

Finally time has come to chop down plants 1&2.
They look ready and trichomes are mostly cloudy with some embers.
Both plants weight 750 grams as whole.
I would assume there is around 30-40 grams dry on each, but we would have to dry cure and than return with results.
3rd plant can probably go for another week, she looks like she can get her buds bigger, also still many many white pistils.
She is looking very promising with very long buds (:
3rd plant chopped after 1 week, weighs 500 grams wet as whole.

3/20/2023 - Day 22 Flower: So far the plants look like they handled the big defoliation just fine. Nice and healthy and they are all preying. Seeing the first signs of some tricomes.
3/22/2023 - Day 24 Flower: watered 4 gallons of water at at a 6.6 ph mixed with Jay Plantspeaker Quillaja as a wetting agent, Rootwise Enzyme Elixer, and Bio-Phos, BuildASoil Big 6, BuildABloom, Coconut Powder, Pure Protein Dry, Fermented Comfrey and Fermented Peach. Not much to report. Plan to keep the plants on 12/12 for one more week, then drop to 11 hours on and 13 hours off for the final weeks of flower.
3/26/2023: watered 4 gallons mixed with ThermX-70, BuildABloom, Rootwise Bio-Catalyst, coconut powder, and Yah-Whey Thrive. Went lighter on the nutrients today. Figured I've gone heavy enough for a while, so a lighter feeding couldn't hurt. Overall, the frost is coming on and the flowers are starting to add some weight. Other than the leaf curl issue from a couple weeks ago, everything else continues to go smoothly.

Flowering began and I really didn’t do much. A little bit of trimming…just wanted her to survive after my tough first weeks haha
Soil was dry after every 2 days. So gave her 1l when dry. On day 6 she went to the window again as I’m not in my apartment

This gorilla cookie by fast buds is freaking awesome guys, I'm really in love with this genetic, very strong smell, trichome glands everywhere, and 2 out of the 3 plants that I'm growing are going to develop full purple buds!! Amazing autoflower plant man, I'm not disappointed at all, I hope to get a nice amount of buds with the 3 Gorilla cookies because I cannot wait to taste those buds! Let's keep on working! 💓💚💛👨🌾

Decided to harvest other plants and let my one big 15 gallon Blue MOB go another week or two to fully fill out. The others were beginning to show signs or bud rot however the 15 gallon has not at all yet which is why I’ve let it go the extra time. Will update with harvest pictures once all are cut down!

The girls have survived another week ❤️ I did a light defoliation and have been monitoring the RH closely. We have had a very damp week here, and the RH kept climbing and had my fan working hard.
They are starting to plump up and fill in 😋. They have also started to slow their drinking habits, instead of watering every three days, it has moved to every 4 now. Just a couple of weeks left, I think I will be harvesting these over Christmas 🎄, and will have some great bud ready for the new year! 🎉🎊🍾

Today the update of the Blue Gelato # 41 🌱.
She looks very healthy and vital 👌.
It has grown very nicely this week.
I only uploaded 2 of the same videos for testing, once in 4 K and once in HD. Since the last videos of the quality were unfortunately not so good when you watched them on the PC.
I hope this bug is now fixed, otherwise it is because of my apps etc.
Tomorrow there will be a few more pictures, because unfortunately I only came to the videos today.
That's a hell of a lot of work that comes with growing, and still work in everyday life 😅.
What you don't do for your passion 😍👍

Start of week 9
Runtz Muffin got the cut this morning. Put the whole plant to hang dry, i just removed some of the bigger leaves, since plant grew really compact. Drying now for the first 3 days at 56% and 17C, after that 60% and 16C, for at least 8 days.
Overall i was really pleased with this strain, Barneys did a great job and you can see their genetics are strong.
I will give a weight, taste and smoke update/review once they dry up and got the trim.
10/10 recommended strain!

Base nutrients were reduced and PK 13/14 increased. So far she seems to take the change well. The buds keep swelling and are already rock-hard.

Day 96, 15th of December 2020:
Wao and wao... this is what I can say.
A bit late I was on holiday I usually start the week with the first day but now with the last one.
So let's start with the "black sheep" of this group as she is alone here RQS Wedding Gelato.
Easy growing issue free little bushy lady. Absolutely great choice of grow. Pretty much ready for Christmas but she can be cut even now lol....
And now let's speak about the Original Sensible Seeds' girls...
Well Black Ghost OG similarly to RQS Wedding Gelato is calm little bushy and issue free lady.... no problem all good ready for Christmas....
Runtz Gum the thick chick with heavy big buds and excellent appearance is really amazing. I placed a stick there and fixed her to look better... It was not necessarily but i have done it.
She needs more time pretty much done ny Christmas or a bit after....
Gelato from Original Sensible Seeds is similar in terms of acting such as streching and all that ...
The same situation applies not much to really say we wait ;)
I am really happy to have these ladies....
Well, Do-Si-Dos OG is the craziest one ever... lol.... not only due her crazy kind of streching style but the trichome developement that comes along to the fan leaf "holder" stem is pretty crazy....
Those buds are like a diamonds sticky and she would be ready to harvest but need to wait because I need to go....
I really had to fix her by placing a stick there I broke one stem but fixed as it did not come off... so crazy especially now because of the weight of the buds... now she looks even more beautiful...
I think she is the most challenging grow ever.
Original Sensible Seeds genetics is unique really high quality just look at them.
Royal Queen Seeds as well but this is my second grow from them my first was a Green Gelato which is the same calm littlw bushy plant. Amazing very good for newbies ;)
I am going on holiday again and back on 28th of December so after harvest starts.
Girls will be cut after.
The 7th weeks starts with tomorrow 16th of December....
Only flushing and no more nutritient will be used.
Soon full report comes. Lamp is the same 11 hours on and 13 off....
The last 4 days they will get 4 days darkness and only ventilation will be working no even more water ;)
