Day 92: Moved the lights to a different hanging formation to get a few more inches up, was at 16" distance in most areas. Day 94: Seems to be filling out, both leaves yet again, and buds now too. Day 95: Power outage yesterday about 3hrs before typical lights out. Battery backup to the timer function in the power strip is probably dead or jostled out of place. It wasn't notice until it had been off for 90 mins, so we choose to leave the light off for the rest of the day as I didn't want to stress anything out by having the lights off for 90m on for 90m and then off again for 12h. Day 96: Well I certainly understand the fruity smell growers referenced. Shout out to RockyRidger for the heads up - the smell is pervasive in the room even with the carbon filter in the tent. Wonderfully fruity and less musky, a bit diesel or citrus if you really get in there. I did another short round of defoliation, much less and more cautious than before. She has little crystals everywhere (better seen in white light tomorrow) near the buds and pistils. I can't seem to get the stickiness off my hands now and I've washed them three times with degreasing soap! Pics in the red spec as I kept just red on for 5 mins longer than normal as I finished up and fed her and wanted to get at least a pic or two in for today. Fed with 1Gal purified water. 2tsp FFBB, 1tsp FFGB, 1.5tsp FFTB, 2ml AN B-52. 6.71pH / 825ppm in, 6.52pH / 1200 ppm out. Day 97: Better shots of some of the glitter we've got going on. Top leaves are turning yellow probably due to excess light and heat. Temperatures are very high above 30oC in southeastern Brazil. I increased the lighting distance 30cm from the top. QB LM301H 120W

July 6: peak growing season now and I expect she’ll be growing about an inch per day here for the next couple of weeks. Weather should be perfect and just have to dodge the thunderstorms. Started another lazy compost tea. Cheers to all growers. 👍 July 7: mild defoliation done over this last week to let light in to the growth tips. Water only as a light flush. July 8: definitely fast growth and looking very dark green but hopefully not too much N. Watered in evening with lazy compost tea. This lazy compost tea is just a 5 gallon (20 L pail) with couple handfuls of mature compost, some molasses, some humic acids and kelp, Dr Bronners peppermint soap as a surfactant (or wetting agent) and vinegar to get pH near 7. Then it’s all left in the shade for about 24-48 hours with the occasional stir. Alternately you could just use Recharge which is made from bacteria, molasses and humic acids. Super easy either way. July 10: added a couple handfuls of malted barley as a top dressing. This is a top organic growing tip from Clackamas Coot. Just get some from a local brew shop which should have a variety of malted grains. Cheap stuff is fine. I’ll add some Power Bloom next week but I figured the barley is good enough for now. Now 25 inches so she grew 6 inches in 4 days. Good times. Good times.

3 leaf mutation on one plant. Every leaf both fan or sugar is only 3 leaf. Pretty neat and the flowers are looking really good The other plant is looking amazing as well.

The bananas are quite progressive, they were like this from the start, they are one node ahead of their sisters. Planning to top them at the 6th node this time and give around 5-6 weeks of veg.

Really loved growing all the Humboldt Seed Company Girls in the tent this run. The Notorious T.H.C. has the most dense nugs and just sparkles when you look at it.. It's just beautiful and I can't wait to grow it again! 👊

The time is finally here to post the harvest. I waited till it was all done and dry before updating the dairy so will add in the dry weights next on the 2nd half of the harvest entry. I enjoyed this plant a lot, its grew well and loved how it was shorter and fatter. I wonder if it was at the dame distance from the plant if It could have done even more. Had some issues with the yellowing that was happening on the other plant in this tent. I should have treated this faster with a flush but was super reluctant and it may have hurt the yields a bit. The top best looking buds looked and smelled amazing even the lower buds where doing well not so larfy like the other plant. There was crazy strong smells with this plant, sour berries and hints of lemon, it was a best smelling plant I have grown to date. This would be a great plant to grow for beginners, cant take a lot of stress and still produces quite well and even on lower wattage leds it was good. It was not the most crystally looking plant, not like the maltezerz but still had some finger hash buildup but a small amount. I feel this plant would be a winner for a rosin press. I don't plan on growing this strain out again despite me liking a lot of qualities about it. I'm only trying to grow cbd dominate plants is the main reason. If my friends really like this I have some clones so can always give them some. Speaking of clones they are doing well outside, greened up a lot and showing signs of revegging. Took some photos of the weed hang drying on day 1 in the tent and a week later to show how much they shrink. Only some of the lower growth is larfy, will make good edibles or hash, that will be a fun project to do and may include that in my projects diary. My light grew for 20 weeks and 4 days, or 144 days. almost 21 weeks total. $35.67 / 144d = 0.2477$/d average of about 25c a day in electricity 337.2kw for the entire grow. Using the regular calculation of grams harvested divided by watts used is not accurate to me, it does not account for all the time the lamps are on, the length of grow to the over all cost. The calculation that makes sense to me is this, harvested dry weight of usable cannabis buds/trim/keif/whatever in grams divided by total kw used. Could also combine it with grams per total single use costs “anything you used only for this grow and wont reuse in the next, or fractions of multi use items like fertilizers if they ½ full” and see how much you’re investing per gram. "kw" ÷ "g" = kw/g "$" ÷ "g" = $/g I have harvested 4.57oz or 129.6g on 337.2kw. 337.2kw ÷ 129.6g = 2.60 kw/g of usable cannabis. This is not an ideal ratio for me and looks like a lot of energy waste happened from the extended veg period. $35.67 ÷ 129.6g = 0.28c/g It cost 28c/g when comparing total electricity cost to gross yield, almost identical to the comparison of total electrical cost to the number of days in the grow 25c/day. Buds evolve greatly, smell is very strong now I noticed some of the buds closest to the lights start to bleach out, i'll let that happen to maximize the lights on the lower branches(there are much more lower buds then ones very close to the lights) Still 2 weeks to go

Ok shes really moving along now. The trichomes are milky white, and maybe 15 % amber to 10% . Shes also still growing. Question, if I let her grow , will potency go down or something else? If my harvest window is open , dont I have basically two weeks to harvest? My question is if I go over or past harvest window will my tree get less potent ?

9/22 topped them at 4th node. some of them are looking better for mainlining that others. some of them i may not mainline and others i left an extra node in case i want to keep clones around. #1 is looking happy with the topping and looks really good. #2 is the only one thats been praying and is the tallest and strongest looking all around. #5 short and such tight internodal spacing that it makes it hard to see whats all there. just looks like a bunch of small leaves until they grow out. i may not mainline this one either be cause of it being so tightly packed it may make it 9/27/24 day 20 theyre growing quite well. #1 i ended up taking the bottom nodes. i was originally goi g to use them as clones later on but decided to just let her go with her 4 nodes. #5 is so tightly packed, she has like 8 mains all in such a small space, its hard to even make sense of it all.

This week I did a final bit of defoliation just to channel the energy to the buds. I upped the EC to 2.1. I got a well priced pkm boost powder from my local hydro shop, wich I added to get the EC levels a bit higher. I will start flushing at the end of this week with a flushing solution. I have also been making use of a dehumidifier to reach optimal RH.

Here comes the branches…I may try cloning a few branches….tentative.
