Week 9 December 23rd Hooked up the microscope took some shots. Getting the dry room engineered and just trying to stay at least a step ahead . This rDWC adventure has been tricky indeed. I’m losing balance somewhere if you read the leaves up close you can see some “signs” and she has about a week left ish before we start the finish up process for harvest December 24th She has slowed down on nutrient consumption and water uptake December 25th I’m at the res change time .sitting at an EC of 1.0 . I have been adding ph distilled water for keeping water levels up and diluting while the vpd went up idk I’ll see what happens next and eventually be able to spot issues early on with better consistency. The plant had some issues earlier in the week, but thanks to a fellow grower who helped me to sort it out! The pant is doing fine just that the leaves that turned pale never turned back green… but I still see new pistil formations very often in new sites!! Hope everything goes well.

She popped up a couple of days ago (check the timelapse) so I'm calling this week 1. I've put lots of perlite in her soil this time around, last couple of grows, as a test, did not have perlite and I noticed the soil was really firm and compact. Also it didn't drain very well at all. Hopefully the addition of perlite will fix this.

The growth of this plants is very structurally sound, impressive density, and exceptionally loud. My carbon filter must be spent. The exhaust from my grow room is 8/10 on the “stinky scale”

Good week 👍🏾, overwatered them a tad but they coming along nicely !! Bud sites are looking good plants are thriving nicely can’t wait to see the buds start to form in the later weeks. Got 4-5 weeks left on them so almost there 🙌🏾.

Hey now, I hope everyone is having a great weekend, it was a good week for the ladies in the 5X5, they are all starting to stack flowers and really starting to distinguish their own smells. The Bubble Runtz has the most indica dominant looking colas and smells absolutely amazing. The Sundae Driver is looking like she is gonna have the fattest colas and be the biggest producer. I am really hoping I get the red phenotype of the Red Hot Cookies, and both the Green Crack and Durban Nights are showing the most Sativa characteristics and looking great. I now have the Medic Grow Light cranked up to 100% in F1 mode and am also using the UV/IR for 30 minutes per day prior to lights out. I am running a 12/12 cycle and feeding the same mix of GH nutrients which include Silica, CalMag, MaxiBloom, and Bloom Booster, with additional food grade Hydrogen Peroxide in the reservoir to keep algea growth to a minimum. I mix one 5 gallon bucket of nutes per day and clean my reservoir once per week. My pump is set to auto feed the plants every 5 hours after lights on, and I have a gravity self draining runoff setup I built. Not much to do from here on out, just keep the reservoir clean and full, a little defoliation, and 5 minutes per day to mix a bucket of nutes.I hope they get fat in the next few weeks and then I have about 7 people lined up to help me trim, I will throw everyone two zips for the help. hoping to do the wet trim in a day. starting week 6,the wedding cheesecakes are in flower for a couple of days now and the gg are starting to flower. alot of wind and clouds and rain these past two weeks but the girls are looking good in my opinion. update:after 4 or 5 days of rain and low temperatures finally the re is sunlight so the girls have to recover a bit. but things are looking better wheatherwise. cheers!

During the third week of vegetation I started practicing Mainling's technique. To do this, I patched the plant at the third node and cut all the underlying shoots. ✂️🌱 I tied the two main branches with string to keep them down. The plant appears to be responding well and shows no signs of excessive stress. ✔️

This girl is growing so healthy and lovely. I am just loving her every day so far no complaints. I may have to change the pot size soon.
