REVIEW - Runtz (fem., photo.) from Zamnesia: ⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬜⬜ The seeds from Zamnesia germinated rapidly, rooted strongly, went wild in veg, and produced an ample amount of high-quality medicinal flower. The diary speaks for itself on that front so this space will be more of a phenotype review. The plants were labelled A, B, and C from left to right respectively in photos. A and B were the 'clasicaly-appearing' sativa-esque leaves while C was the more 'indica-appearing' phenotype. Although A and B appear the same qualitatively, they did produce substantially different amounts of flower (despite their DLI being near max out for the entire tent footprint without supplementing CO2, so I do not think just being in the middle attributed to this). Past their different yields, A and B also have vastly different profiles. A is a classic gelato/ice cream cooler/Z terps, and my personal favorite of the plants (wish I had taken a clone of this one instead). B is the most on point for what I think of with Runtz, classic Z terps but with a slight tropical/rotten/sweetness to it. C had the misfortune of being ready to chop a little earlier than the other girls so her profile is mostly just spicey kush now. I did observe intersex flower sites but given the entire context of the diary and how the plants performed, I have to assume it was user error. No pollination observed in any of the flowers, as zero additional intersex sites occurred. The distinction between A, B and C is what I would expect from a typical F1 cannabis seed. I do not enjoy growing from seed much but these girls were manageable. Add to that the relative stability of the genetics for a Runtz recreation, and well, these are good quality beans for a great price. Not only is Zamnesia responsive and available, their confidence speaks volumes. How many vendors would have an in-house Runtz, knowing how much of a genetic-gravity-well it is in, and be confident enough to let ~200 randos grow it and show it? REVIEW - Green Sensation from Plagron: ⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬛⬜⬜ I enjoyed using the green sensation, the NPK values on it make it versatile in application and a power-house in flower. I can't say I noticed anything better or dramatically improved, although comparing to Heavy 16 and asking for a marked improvement is big ask in my opinion. What I was able to do was seamlessly integrate the Green Sensation into my current routine. The additive stayed homogenous, was easily introduced into solutions with no adverse impact to the water contents or pH. Most importantly, the plants enjoyed the additive and it did accomplish the main goal of being able to wane off your primary line. In this respect, by using Green Sensation I was able to save resources by lowering my Heavy 16 inputs across the board approximately 50% and supplementing with Plagron's Green Sensation.

Everything so far so good Blue cheese on the left Sweet zz on the right, RQS recommend with the blue cheese to LST during week 3 so decided I’d just do it on the sweet ZZ aswell. Never trained a plant before think it went well tho.

Got a bottle of Biotonex from the nice folks @Cannaboom, the promised shorter internodial distance actualy shows, as far as i can tell at this point Plants started smelling realy nice and sweet

Week 3 (15-2 to 21-2) 15-2 Watering: None. No pictures, but i do have a timelapse from 4-2 to 15-2. I bought an Wyze V2, and i recorded all my plants growing in my pre-growing closet. Now the cam hangs in my 3x3 tent with 2 Gorilla Kush, and 2 Chemdog, so thats why this is the only timelapse i have for the Deep Candy. The Deep Candy is in a separate tent, maybe i will buy an extra cam for this tent, so i can shoot timelapses for all my grows. Let me know if u like it or not! 16-2 Watering: 94 ml. 17-2 Watering: None. 18-2 Watering: None. 19-2 Watering: 133 ml. 20-2 Watering: None. As you can see, since 19-2 the leaves are showing some problems. Maybe she is just hungry, as there are already 3 weeks past, and the Plagron Lightmix has enough nutes in it for approx 3 weeks. I see some problems on my other plants aswell, so maybe something with the feed or the PH is off. Or maybe she dont like the Silica i gave her while she is still in her 0.5L pot. We will see how it goes. 21-2 Watering: 60 ml.

Erste Blütewoche: Tag 55: Ich spreche quasi aus der Zukunft weil ich recht wenig Zeit hatte in den letzten drei Wochen…aber es wird wild 😝 wir sind aus dem Urlaub zurück und die Pflanzen waren gut 65cm groß, höchste Zeit für den 12/12 Switch! Und natürlich je 4l Wasser für jede Pflanze mit ph 6.2 und 1ml/l Calmag Agent. Ab jetzt heißt es erstmal die Pflanzen in Ruhe zu lassen und die Beleuchtung der Lampe auf 270w von oben und 40w von unten, um das Defizit von 6 Stunden auszugleichen und evtl den krassen Stretch zu reduzieren. Tag 56: heute 3l Wasser mit ph 6.1 und 0,5ml/l calmag agent (2von unten 1 von oben) Tag 57: heute 2l Wasser mit ph 6.2 von unten Tag 58: heute mal Ruhe 😊 Tag 59: 4l Wasser mit ph 6.2 und 0,5ml/l Calmag Agent (3 von unten 1 von oben) Tag 60: tote Blätter abgepult und weggesammelt Tag 61: 4l ph 6.1 von unten pro Pflanze Ende Blütewoche 1

The plants are still growing at a good pace. Just finished their 1st week on 12-12. They definitely filled out so we went ahead and did like a 40 % defoliation to help the light get through all those branches. Waiting to see the start of the stretch and some more early signs of preflower. I was short on time or inwould have more up close shots of early signs, I'll edit mid week and update on how they bounced back from the trimming.

Losing colour in the leaves looks like some ph issues too. I flushed her to correct it. Nice stinky buds though

Coloquei algumas sementes companheiras da marca SimbioSolo, pareceu-me um mix interessante, recoloquei a rede SCROG, e vamos acompanhar se esta semana continuam saudaveis e com boa resposta, para então flipar para 12/12.

Plants shot up and transferred from solo cups to 5 gallon felt bags. Water feeding every other day. Increased light output to 75%

It was a good week, with some good growth. The ladies have settled in and are a starting to reach up. I’ve been keeping the environment steady at about 78 degrees, and 60-62% humidity. It goes down to about 70 degrees at night. I’ve been watering sparingly still, about 1 cup of water every third day. Near the end of the week they were getting 2 cups and have lasted more than two days without showing they are needing again. I decreased the light schedule to 18 hours, and they seem to be benefiting from the dark cycle, or less DLI. LST will start next week! Happy Gardening 🇨🇦👊❤️

The girls are now showing pre flowers and white hairs throughout the plant. One is further along then the others but not by much. I decided to switch the lights to a 12/12 schedule and have fed them with a light dose of nutes. I can't believe how fast they are growing! 😁

📆 Harvest Week, 19-25 August 2024 19-22 Aug - Observed and let the plant grow. 23-24 Aug - Flushed with RO water, turned lights down to 40% power. 25 Aug - Harvested the plant, began the curing process. 💚 Thank you Divine Seeds for this sponsored grow! 📑 The final week of flowering for Pablo Escobar! I gave her a good 71 days as recommended by the breeder. She grew using every one of them until the end. Another genetic hit by all means. A pleasure to grow. This is a sativa dominate variety so expect a longer flower time. You will be rewarded with thick dense buds, covered with resins and trichomes, with a sweet herb, earthy smell, nice and danky. Began the curing process in a climate controlled closet with a RH of 53% and temp of 71deg F. The main leaves are removed before the branches are hung upside down for 7-10 days for drying. From there the buds are removed from the branches, separated, and are trimmed to remove as much leaf as possible. Then placed in quart mason jars with a 62% Boveda TerpShield packet, burped daily for about a week or until 62% RH is maintained. Then labeled and placed in a cool, dark closet for long term storage for up to about 8 months or so. 🔥 Smoke Report: It took Pablo 10 days to slowly dry out. I cut all the buds off the branches and used my 19” Bud Trimmer for a quick finished product! I’m really impressed just how fast this trimmer works. It can take about 1/2oz or 14g at a time and with 4 or 5 turns of the handle it’s finished. Nice beautiful manicured buds in about 10 seconds. No more trim jail for me. As for the smoke. The taste definitely is the same as the smell. Lemony or citrus. The high is definitely that of a sativa. Comes on slow, then creeps up on you hard. Stays with you for a couple of hours, needing only a hit or two to recharge the high afterwards. No doubt this strain is very high in THC, and should be taken into account for the beginner.
