La prossima settimana conto di toppare nuovamente gli apicali e fare una nuova LST ENG: topping to all plants including strawberry lemonade. Oct 12: super warm still so the season is still going. In previous years we’ve had a -10 C sort of hard frost by now. Anyway, Bruce here is taking advantage of the warm weather. Sunlight is weak so not producing as many trichomes as she could under stronger light, but she is still putting on weight and the buds are decently firm. Most fan leaves turned purple at which point they’re no good for photosynthesis so I figured it’s better to remove them here in the home stretch. Might harvest in a few days, or might not… Oct 13: first round of 940 g wet buds, mostly as fresh frozen, with 80 g of that hanging. Buds are less dense than the Gorilla Cookies so despite Bruce being the bigger plant, it looks like the final yields will be similar. Left biggest cola on plant to see how much further it can ripen. Oct 14: watered with 26 C water with some potassium sulphate. My TDS meter has been broken all season so was estimating. Oct 15: nice weather continues. Oct 16: +4.2 C temperature anomaly over last 30 days, and this is “extremely hot”. Yay. Oct 18: sun is so low now that I lose direct sun by late afternoon. Weather turns soon and there are just four more days to go. Bruce will be harvested this weekend.

Flowering well, she as stretched out a bit, steady progress. Currently looks like lots of bud sites but hard to tell how much it will fill out.

The snow is really coming down out there. Big fat flakes are piling up on the ground, and it doesn't look like it's going to stop anytime soon. I guess that means no outdoor plans for today. Might be the perfect day to get cozy inside with a warm drink and a good book The pound cake auto plant is growing like crazy! I'm so happy to see all the progress we've made. Yesterday, I finally got around to tying it down – it's amazing how much more stable it feels now. I can't wait to see what this plant looks like in a few more weeks.

The end of the fourth week. Only 2,5 to 3 weeks to go, since this is the FAST version of Gelato 33 by Advanced seeds. Last week temps were better, so that was a lot better to manage. The smell is a different story. We are trying to combat it as we speak with a double filter which my friend still had from a previous grow. The ladies are performing, however, because this is a monstercrop with many budsites, none of them will be very big. We anticipate a lot of cutting come harvest time. The stickieness and smell (cookies, dough, herbs, spices, gingerbread, vanilla) promise a lot to make up for that hopefully!! The middle plant that seemed to go fastest, now looks like to have the hardest time flowering. Her more advanced stage of flowering as a bigger clone, made it harder for her to return to veg, which she never really did. This seems to make her want to rush to the finish, as she is already browning the pistils. Also these buds seem more flakey, popcorny. As if the many flowers and grapelike bundled growth was too much for her. I put the light a little closer, to help her fatten up in the time she is given. I never expected the two 'runts' to outperform the mighty middle clone, but hey seem to fatten up and age much more nicely. So for now, prelimenary tip: make sure all your plants are completely revegged before flowering and consider that faster flowering species might have some ruderalis ancestry that might siderail all your lighting intentions and remains in flower what ever the growers lighting schedule. So with at least two more weeks for the two outer plants, and well see how many for the middle one, we are going to make them as comfortable as possible the final push of this flowering. Wir sind sehr gespannt wie die RQS gegen die Fastbuds abliefern wird. Second week of flowering and they're showing no signs of hermaphroditism. They're developing incredibly well and growing at a breakneck pace, it's absolutely insane. We're very curious to see how the RQS will compare to the Fastbuds.

Start of Flower. PPFD avg. 700 Soaked entire pot. Started my Flower Foliar Spray right before lights out. I will Spray plants once a week for 4 weeks of Flower. Foliar Spray Recipe per 2L as follows: All Advanced Nutrients Products. 4ml Bud Ignitor 4ml Nirvana 4ml Bud Factor X 10ml B-52 Midweek update. Second round of foliar spray. Ladies loved the first round, went with a second. Ill do this twice a week until I'm through week 4 of Flower. Video is right after I sprayed for the 2nd round at 15 mins before lights out. Don't want all the foliar spray burning the ladies now do we.
