Hey everyone! 😁 Another week, another update and I've learnt a lot this week! It seems my theory that I was underfeeding Puff was right (I mean, it's not rocket science and I confused charts haha) and I had to do something to fix this issue! Some people I talked with recommended me to buy a product called "Revive" from Advanced Nutrients since it would help with a faster recovery than just adapting the nutrients... and it seems it works! I applied it twice (this week's post) and the next and the improvements are really noticeable! (specially now!) My concern now tho is when I should start flushing! Puff should be ready soon and supposedly I should start doing it two weeks before harvest... and I should harvest when trichomes are 50 cloudy and 50 amber... but how can I tell when I those two weeks are close? The trichomes should be 20% amber? 10% amber? It's confusing! 😱 I know as well that the two weeks flush is just a number, I could also flush for one week but I still don't know WHEN it'll be the right time to start doing it but I think that by the middle of the next week or by the end of it I'll start doing it. Gloomy outside but the plant is showing signs of pistils

Constant LST on these girls. They are so leggy I'm worried that if I let up the canopies will get out of control. I feel like i'm doing a good job with it thought. The occasional super cropping is needed and I leaf tuck and even take leaves almost everyday. Doesn't seem to slow em' down. Lights are at about 75% now. Weather has calmed down so temperature in the tent is consistently below 80F. Happened just in time for mid-flower. Right before the weather changed I build an exhaust to vent everything outside so controlling the atmosphere is a lot easier and I think it shows. Switched to bloom nutes towards the end of this week. Miracle Berry Remix IMMEDIATELY perked up and stopping being droopy all the time. CDLC woke up and I'm really happy with her now. Phosphorous is really important once pre-flower begins. Getting impatient....gonna pop some Double Grapes for the Solo Cup competition. Lowering my PH to 5.5 - 5.7 to accomodate for any salt build up in the coir since they drink water so quickly. Their response was very good. CDLC loved the drop in PH the most I believe. I cut my veg nutrients (nitrogen) to half because they aren't in full flower but i'm giving them full doses of the Maxibloom and additives. I've learned that most chlorosis I am experiencing is a nutrient deficiency. PH and increasing PPM steadily is a MUST to be successful I believe. Potassium is what generally causes the "nutrient burn". You'll catch nitrogen toxicity before any chlorosis and phosphorous is really difficult to give your plant too much of. Especially in flower. I'm gettin' the hang of this.... If anyone could answer me this....Why would you use a feeding schedule when your plant is going to require different nutrients than any other plants? There are too many variable to use a feeding schedule correct? Really not much to see this week besides the plants bulking up. They are gorgeous...except for the CDLC...she's got some work to do. Day 49 - Watered with some whacked out PH water today...didn't catch it until it was too late. Mango Smile was dropping by the end of watering...hopefully I didn't stall anyone out. Loving the buds on two of the strains I’ve only had black buds one time before, and it was some of the best, but I’ve ever had super excited for this grow🔥💯

Overall very happy with this plant grow. She was by far the hungriest of the four plants in this grow, but she still developed nicely, loads of sticky sweet smelling buds. Will update in 2 weeks, after the first smoke. Update! Smoked the first buds from this harvest, the smoke was smooth, light berry/fruit taste, it will get stronger as they cure in their jars. Overall, I am happy with the plant, the bud product and quality. She's not a super heavy indica, but she can still pack a punch!

Impressionante la velocità di fioritura delle dutchfem autofiorenti! Sono nel periodo di fioritura inoltrata e si stanno riempiendo tutte di infiorescenze dure, appiccicose e molto resinose e profumate, in giardino sembra di essere in un negozio di frutta fresca! Sfiorano il metro e cinquanta centimetri di altezza alcune e la maggior parte sembrano XL perché le lunghe diramazioni si stanno riempiendo tutte in ogni parte delle piante. Purtroppo il clima al centro Italia è un po' sfasato e ogni giorno alterna caldo umido forte con pioggie fresche brevi e poi ritorna il sole. Gli afidi stanno provando con tutte le loro forze a superare la protezione dell'olio di piretro, sono sotto le foglie gli afidi ma non stanno minimamente indebolendo il vigore delle piante anzi sembrano fiorire più aggressive e la resina inizia ad incollare ogni insetto parassita che sta tentando di attaccare le mie piante. Biologicamente queste varietà sono impeccabili e si adattano ai cambiamenti climatici e ai nuovi insetti parassiti resistono. Qualche lepidottero ha iniziato a mangiare qualche foglia ed infiorescenze ma non è un problema perché manualmente ogni giorno dedico un ora a rimuovere i bruchi. Dai video e foto si vede che non si scherza con queste varietà! Un abbraccio a tutti e forza Dutchfem auto in Italia!
