This weekend i did the probably last Defoliation, there were so many leaves like blocking light to the lower parts of the plants. I might get some to put under the smaller plants since the height difference is quite huge between the strains. The Shiskaberrys and the Papaya Frosting stay relativly small compared to the Lemoncherrygelato. I also had to add quite a bunch of the yellowsticky things cuz i saw a couple of flies cruisin around ^^'

Hey yall, Temps were high, but under control now. My girls were droopy despite having moist soil. After a good compost tea they bounced right back. Pistol hairs are showing, haven't grown this specific cultivar before so the bud structure is a but different than others I am familiar with. Let's see what she does moving forward. I am not a super fan of these genetics. Already have new seeds I am ready to start once these ladies are done. Over all the Strawberry Diesel from Beaver Seeds is not a noob grow, you need to have your grow dialed in. And really be careful with PM. I am keeping humidity as low as I cam while still maintaining a decent VPD. Challenges with this strain definitely turns me off. Looking forward to a new cultivar, already have some genetics from Michigan, those cats are really something else, they are hellbent on being better than the West coast. And they are in my humble opinion 😌 ☺️ Pure Michigan looks good, also Honey Sticks Genetics out of Maine is killing it, their Bananaconda 4 tested over 40% total cannabinoids. They want like 3k per cut, so that won't be my next, but looking forward to new genetics nonetheless. Anyways made some new ferments, remember to use equal parts organic sugar, Jaggery is best, that is the closest form of sugar to the sugar cane plant. Cover with paper towel, 2 to 3 days later let gravity give you all that juice, don't squeeze it to get more. Keep that juice in the fridge, that is your food. Then add water to the solids and keep at room temperature for 3 months to make a vinegar. That is your cleanser. Broke one of the original 8 growth tips early on, but she's grown nicely into her heptagon shape. Living soil still seems to have too much nitrogen for her, hopefully vegging her a few more weeks before flipping will burn through some of it. I've had to "mow the lawn" of clover a couple times now just to keep good airflow, and that fallen cover crop is starting to make a nice mulch...which in turn makes watering in coco a little less stressful. We're in late veg now, so tent is holding steady at: - PPFD = 600 - VPD = 1.0 - Temp = 82 F (28 C)

This girl did amazing, even after being blasted by a space heater. Strong secondary branching, big colas producer, nice trichomes coverage and good bud density.

Grow diary 11 Stage 4 Days 31-40 Day 31 Turned power up to 85% on the mars hydro ts1000. Mines one of the old ones you need to stick a screw driver in to alter it. Day 36 Removed the single finger fan leaves and the 1st 3 fingered leaves. Day 39 Removed the 4 fan leaves from where she was topped last week. The start of this stage we hit a heat wave, day after day of heat. I had my humidifier on most of the 9 days. The tent didn't hit the temps I thought it would so that means I have my loft under a bit better control. The plant really kicked into gear this week, around day 34 she started to explode in growth. So far I have only done some lite defoliation by removing some of the 1st leaves that weren't getting any light anymore. The wedding glue went into pre flower before the rest of the grow, she looks like she might have slightly to much nitrogen or that could just be the colours she is going to show. MONDAY 5/26 4am put up some readings from last night. I did 10, 10 Con Bloom PLUS 2mL of Bud Factor X. 1230pm WOW I hit the gears just right on BUD FACTOR X!!!... In FIVE YEARS...NEVER GOT IT RIGHT.... This combo worked the chloroplast tanks seemed flat, the X made a visible difference in how puffy the top sugar leaves are and the amount of resin is exactly like the advertisements....finally. There was something I thought was "sludge" in using X with Con. There IS a reaction between Con Bloom Part A, the color one and X. the roots obstruct the drainage of the system and the water does not descend into the tank easily and the rockwools and roots are flooded, this causes the increase of ph in the reservoir and in the rockwools. this week I hope to solve the problem, for the moment I use a timer for the water pump (15 on 30 off). update: I solved the problem of the roots on the drain by folding the mat on itself with the whole pack of roots descended into the tub, a little rough but functional. but unfortunately I lost almost a week to flush the girls due to the flooding of the root zone I have to start halving the doses of nutrients again ... ... it was a bad week but maybe I learned something 🍀 water pump restored 24/24h Light lifted up from 50 to 90cm Ppfd 1300 > 1000
