Another easy week. I'm heading into autumn so I'm having some temp and humidity fluctuations. Nothing too crazy. Hash plant and Zed black are cruising to the finish. Some hash plants will finish over the next couple days. The Zed blacks are looking like they need 1.5 weeks. Hash plant smelling like diesel, spicy hash, tennis balls Zed black smelling like rotten fruit and lemons. I got about 3 keepers I want to use for breeding. Along with the two rainbow belts it's a nice stock to work with. The males are revenged. I will be transplanting into larger pots and flipping to flower while I reveg the selected flowers after harvest

Doing great, flushed her today with 5 gal of ph'd water and started a new feeding schedule as seen above I will alternate watering and feeding. One week water one week feed. I'll keep this gradually increasing the strength of nutes. As far as everything as a whole couldn't be better. Looking forward to her bounty.

What can I say about this plant, it spent most of the day in the shade, if it had the same conditions as dos si dos, it would eat it for breakfast in terms of yield... 450 g of dry matter and some popcorn... I am very satisfied with but the plant didn't get nearly as much sun as it needs...it didn't fill up, but it wasn't empty either, the heads are nice and fleshy...when I picked it, it smelled like lemon or KeyLime as Barney says...but no on citrus, but really lemon combined with some heavy stench, I can't wait for this miracle to work for some time in the jar... Next year we will see it in its full glory, so let's try to get a one kilo and a half dry from it alone, that's a bit of a challenge for me...but with this kind of genetics and this kind of variety, I don't think it will be a problem in 100-150 liters of soil for this kind of monster... this year my plants were in 40 to 50 liters of soil and almost each of them produced from 450 to almost a kilogram of dry grass

2/28: Amnesia has some yellowing of the leaves that appeared around about 12 hours before my usual every-3-day feedings and after I started to defoliating some of the previous yellow leaves from the previous accidental lack of water. I'm not sure if it is progressing, or it's just because I'm dialing in the watering schedule and she's using the nutrients in the extra, fatter, lower leaves. I've increased Amnesia's light distance to 16 inches and am lowering the humidity to stick between 60-70% RH with the automatic fan set to remove excess humidity near the higher end of that range. Fresh air fan blowing around the tent and into the 2 lower vents. Smells like a fresh garden outside of the tent, however smells green when the tent is opened. Not a strong green smell, but mildy recognizable. 3/1: Welp, it's worsened, and has shown itself in both plants now. Since they share the same environment and nutrients, I suspect this to be a nutrient issue. Trainwreck was known for potentially having excess Nitrogen as shown by the extremely bushy growth, dark green leaves, and downward curling leaf-tips. However, Trainwreck is now no longer exhibiting those symptoms, and has lightened up and is stretching. But! Trainwreck is showing signs of potassium deficiency, with brown spots appearing on upper leaves. The same goes for Amnesia, brown spots have migrated their way to upper leaves. I'm thinking a banana tea will be good for them, so I've got a couple large banana peels steeping in the pump sprayer for this evenings watering. My conclusions: 1. Nutrient burn hitting Amnesia hard, but Trainwreck is riding it out from its stored excesses. 2. Both are lacking some potassium now that they're beefing up in flowering stage. Edit: I've decided to add a quarter-strength nutrient to this banana tea so as to not completely flush out the remaining nutrients. I believe that would leave her starved in between her next feeding, in 3-4 days from now. 3/2: Welp! That made it worse! Time to test the PH of my soil. If the PH is too far in one direction or the other, certain nutrients will be locked out. I've ordered a PH meter instead of these PH testing drops. I didn't know that the difference between 6.0 and 6.5 would be so drastic, but with that said, I need to be more precise about my PH levels if I want to maximize these nutrients. Until the PH meter gets delivered tomorrow I may, if my research says that I should, flush with plain water ph'd water to try to flush out salts and try to get the PH back to 6.5 where it needs to be. Edit: I do not believe this to be overfeeding, as I would expect nutrient burn on the tips of all leaves, but there are colas that are completely unaffected by the recent feedings. However, if the PH is off, and I suspect it is, individual deficiencies will pop up and affect the leaves differently. The other plant, trainwreck, which was planted later, may have contained less Ocean Forest nutrients from the top of the bag, and also more Happy Frog; so it's riding out these issues just fine. 3/4: The discoloring on Amnesia has not spread to any other leaves. I've done a little bit of defoliating on the yellow and crispy leaves. Looks like they're already being replaced. I've got my ph meter now, and doing a slurry test came out 6.4 on the top inch of soil, the only soil I could get to without ripping up the roots. Either way, I'm doing to be certain to PH tonight's feeding (half strength) perfectly to 6.5, as opposed to trying my best using PH testing drops, which is almost impossible! Trainwreck is getting some spots on her leaves, so she'll be ready for her feeding tomorrow.

A little over a week in the fade. She is just starting to show deficiency signs a little. Will likely be harvesting next week. Got some beautiful frosty buds, that smell amazing. It was a wonderful journey, I really had the honor of doing this girl many times, this time even close to the Monster Zkittlez with which they generated the Runtz who was also in the grow. Super modern family situation, I wanted to try to figure out which one I liked best, and I still haven't been able to. at least I'm still tasting Runtz's first flowers and it's heavenly but the freshly picked Gelato and the upcoming Zkittlez are scary just to see them. Super resin, it really looks fake, I also have some macro photos that will make you cry. The resin is everywhere the trichomes are even in the largest leaves the scent is of the garden of eden. wow. Show. Really nice. It was freshly cleaned I want to try to do the resin the first time and then I have freshly cleaned and hung the whole girl upside down under the crop data next week when I clean and can give the detail. Gorgeous. Before being collected, she did two music therapy days, one of which in the dark with frequencies for plants and together we listened: 1 - Paolo Conte - "Gelato" al Limon 2 - Raekwon - Ice Cream to stay on the "Geato" theme and then all the M83 discography to be collected with the very famous Outro of Interstellar really seems to pass to a better life listening to that stuff. The indoor plants are developing a mobile nutrient deficiency(newer growth is pulling from older leaves)in the lower leaves. Nutrients are being locked out(too much of one nutrient is locking out the others in the soil, or temperatures are too cold in the soil) or they are being tied up in solution whenever I mix the lotus nutrients(I’m adding bloom and boost into the same gallon, so maybe the chemicals are reacting with each other and becoming unavailable to the plant). On top of my nutrient dilemma, fungus gnats have found their way to my moist soil and are being a nuisance. From what I found they’re surviving off of my woody material in the soil and will soon try to establish it as a home so I’ve got to go get some IPM. Outdoors is vibing with the pest pressure so I’ll continue to let it do it’s thing.

Day 15-defoliated her probably for the last time after a few weeks of growth, she was very bushy. Added another fan to get more air moving as well. Also, I decided to try out the AN Sensi Bloom set. I didn’t mean to get the coco version but a little extra cal-mag won’t hurt in this case, I only fed at 75% strength and added big Bud powder at 0.5 grams/liter. I’m hoping her stretch finishes soon or I’ll run out of space, although she’s starting to really stack.

📆 Week 17, 14-20 May 2024 14 May - Defoliated yellowing and older leaves. 15-16 May - Observed and let the plant mature. 17 May - Decreased DLI to help mature buds. 📑 Another decision was made to defoliate more yellowing and older leaves. There are plenty of green leaves left and the light now penetrates to the bottom buds. With about 2 weeks left in flower, this gives her ample time to get as close to matureing as a whole plant as possible. Week 10: Blueberry Auto - Sweetness Overload & Harvest Looms! ☀️ Yo growmies! Mother Nature's got the magic touch for sure! Every weekend visit to the Blueberry Auto is like a trip to candyland. The smell gets sweeter by the hour, seriously, I'm surprised I haven't attracted a swarm of sugar-crazed squirrels! Speaking of close encounters, I snapped some magnified pics this week so you can all get a good look at her frosty goodness. Those trichomes are getting cloudy, with barely any amber ones in sight. Harvest decision time is upon us! Do I chop this sweet blueberry dream this weekend, or let her keep on ripening for another week? The struggle is real, growmies! I decided on next week, but I couldn't resist a sneak smoke. Snagged the two bottom nuggets (gotta practice self-control, right?) and they're already chilling in my mini drying spa. Next week, it's harvest time for real, and you bet I'll be reporting back on the smoking experience! Stay tuned, growmies, the grand finale is almost here! High fives all around!

I think she has finally completed her stretch, it’s getting very shiny and sticky in the tent and the buds continue to grow nicely. She continues to be super thirsty and I think i will shorten the tank change intervals. From the 11 cuttings I took in flower around 9 made it and started to root quite nicely. However I think I was a bit to generous with the nutrients, which is corrected for the next week. A third net was installed in anticipation of the main colas getting to top heavy at a later stage. I also increased the canna boost by another 25 ml.

This one is entering flower beautifully. Just reeks of lemons. and oh boy just like a sativa it likes to stretch. But i also think that stretch has to do with malted barley and aloe vera juice. cant wait to start the pot patch this year.

GDP 1 IS 28.5 AND GDP 2 IS JUST UNDER 20 INCHES TALL. NOT TOO BAD. LETS SEE IF THEY STRETCH ANYMORE. ITS SLOWED OVER THE PAST COUPLE DAYS FOR SURE. DAY 45: ADDED ENHANCEMENT PUCKS FOR FLOWER. 1 PHOTO RED FLOWER BOOSTER. 1 UVA TRICHOME BOOSTER. DAY 48: GDP 1 IS 30IN TALL TODAY. GDP 2 IS 20.5 INCHES TALL. BOTH PLANTS APPEAR HAPPY AND HEALTHY. LEAVING THE UVA TRICH BOOSTER LIGHT ON FOR THREE HOURS AT A TIME. DAY 49: GDP 1 STILL 30IN TALL. GDP 2 CLOSER TO 21 INCHES BUT NOT QUITE THERE.

Final dry weight report (details later): Final chop was on day 88. First harvest was 184g of top-shelf from 5 colas. Then another 5 colas brought it up to 300g of top-shelf on sticks — all from the tent. On the second-to-last harvest I took the rest, which added up to another ~300g including leaves. Flushed with Terra Aquatica FlashClean (before that I was running Overdrive + honey with the base bloom nutrients). In total: 3 days on water + FlashClean, followed by a step-by-step harvest and another 6 days just on water.
