Good start to the week. After adding super soil and a speinkle of bone meal on the girls they seem to be doing very well. The colour and structure are as full Iv ever seen. Because its going so great and I dont wanna Fc*kitup iv decided to completely stop any chemical nutrients and just provide water daily. 28 Sept P# 1&2 are in flower and pistils are starting to form buds. Both have been suppercropped and Iv also removed some lower smaller leaves. This was my 1st real major attempt at HST. It went well. Didn't break any branches. Nice low profile and even ‘canopy’ achieved. Lets see what this does for budsite development & growth. Thats all for now. Will keep and eye on them and update on any major changes or issues. May Green be the Grass 🍃 Sho/Ciao 30 Sept Last day of sept. figured id give a short update. p#2 got a somewhat drastic haircut/trimming. She got crazy bushy less than 24hrs after the supercrop I did 2 days ago. Girl perked right up. Also her smell is starting to get more noticeable. So far its a typical midlife ‘weed plant’ scent. I also did something that I could pay for severely. I transplanted p#3 that turns out to be an auto flower from the the dirt. I did this because 1. I thought the soil was hard and sandy and needed some working. Shes now in compost/supersoil mix. 2. I just wanted to watch this girl up-closely develop as shes my 1st! Think she starting to form shiny clear trichomes. Will update how she does in a couple more days.

I make a lot of mistakes but she was strong and kept it up till the end I make mistakes from the beginning because was growing 2 plants in 1 pot I will know the next time I can't wait to smoke it 😎 btw it was my first time growing DWC and I love it this strain teach like no matter happens in life I need to keep growing without giving up fill me up with motivations am so hook up in growing I hope I will never stop growing I love it 😎😍😘

5/17 Week 8 ... and the state of the grow is unsettled This grow has fought us since germ and it is showing no signs of giving in. Just cannot seem to find their "happy place" environmentally or nuet wise. They doing ok-ish this is not a big yielding strain no matter the ad copy but havent had this much issue with it indoors before. Starting at baseline with the lighting HID 300w 16 inches above Baba LED moved towards front of tent. Both lights tilted very slightly towards each other hopefully giving better dispersal. Still showing nitrogen sensitivity so reducing Bloom to 8ml/gal while increasing PK to 6 so PK does not suffer, will watch for deficiencies Looking at going considerably over on these now, nothing coming up behind them so zero space issues, see what happens. Continue to leaf pluck when one needs to go Evening feed 5/17: They look better and some experimenting with the lights showed me the angle tilt needed increasing and HID increased to 450w giving a total of 600w in the tent. Should not cause too much heat issue. Still have 150w in reserve 5/18 PM Pic of lights - Seems to be working out managing to cover base of tent with both lights giving a 5000k and 3000k spectrum. Buds building faster now in particular on Baba, Hadnt gotten sick we would have thought of this weeks ago, aint that inspired. Man this Cov-19 stuff will cloud your thinking. See how long it continues Re-did the lights Had to drop wattage on HID due to heat even after a redesign of the extraction to eliminate drag on air movement. For 14 hours they will run at 450 watts but for 6 hours a day will drop to 300 watts. This should keep any problems from occurring. Just hard to run that Metal Halide at more than 300 watts in warm weather without AC which aint happening. HID to 300/450 watts, 13 inches above Baba at a 20 degree tilt to disperse light. LED at full 17 inches above Athena with a 20 degree tilt. Coincidentally that puts them at the same height. Added a 30 watt 2700K LED on Baba and Athena give them some more red. See how it works. Nuets as is 5/20 Pics After viewing tricones beginning to walk down the EC to flush in a couple days. Plan 10 day flush. That puts them finishing about the middle of week 11. Working on a tactic to harvest Sally ahead of Jane without hurting either After a talk with her and looking seriously at what we have here I am going to break up the feeds. Athena will need to go into flush first she is furthest along. So start it on week 9. Sally ... we are going to do something unusual for her and Jane. Since flushing Sally per normal would be just no good for the twin Jane we are going to flush but then put the plants on organic bloom. So big initial flush with agent to clean out the salts then shifting her to light organics to continue feeding the twin without having to revisit the flushing issue. No idea how long the twin may go Baba will just play by ear on her, continue the light Bloom feeding keeping her PK up until we see the go signal from her. Hoping she goes a week longer than the others. 5/22 Lights to full weather is cool today and time is short Holding nuets here till new week then begin flush on Athena Buds still building nicely on Baba Almost forgot the twin: Here is the plan we flush the pot same time as Athena but on the next feeding we introduce organic bloom nuets for Jane instead of a flush as normal. We dont smoke so not overly concerned with harshness just want the pot clean. The organics will belay any further need of flushing. Best we can do 5/23 Need to start flush now so Athena and Sally on water only till I introduce organics to Sally. No agents Baba staying on feed

This is probably the final week of the full tent shots, these were taken a few days ago and at this point there is only 8 plants that have not yet been harvested. I learned a lot this run, tried some new shit, grew out my own crosses, dialed things in by getting rid of the light leaks and adding the heater so it was a success. The new lights out performed my expectation and the leaf strip might become a staple in my garden. The leaf strip made me nervous I wasn't sure how it would turn out but all of my buds are noticeably larger, the lowers are filled out and as dense as the tops and it saved space, water and nutrients. The lights could have contriuted to the larger buds but the other things made it well worth it. I have been vegging out the next run for a while trying to keep them from growing too much in 1/2 gal bags so there should be some interesting plants there stay tuned. * My 2 MC1 X;s have been harvested and are in the dry tent now, one came out pretty ugly but smells unbelievablely strong of citrus. The black leafed one is a looker but doesn't have the yield factor. I thought I took cuts of these but turns out I did not so these 2 will be one and done, maybe down the road I will dip back into them but going forward I will be hitting any cuts that stand out to me with my reversed MC2 pollen and maybe give some away. But that won't be for a while. I closed a light 2 days. It gonna be flower but this week I'll re-veg a plant. I change a pot to 10 gallons and use great white(mycorhizae) and Mag Xtra from Sensi cal(cal-mag).

This is when I changed to spider farmer SE300. Wow this light is amazing the full spectrum light. The dimmable light adjustment is sweeet. It’s like opening a Christmas present 😂

Unfortunately I had to go away for a couple days, so the babies didn’t get nutes for a few days - they did get watered though. Have added BIG BUD in to the mix now; so the plants should be getting that extra PK they are craving. Other than that, the stretch continues and we’ve seen about 8-12 cms growth in places. First day went as expected. I put the paper towel in a small see-thru plastic container and put it on the table. With a bit of water and the seeds in side, the germination has now started! Day 2 no progression, moved the tray into my furnace room (pitch black and warm) Day 3 major progression. I got them out and started to prep the jiffy pellets. Shortly after I transferred the roughly half inch tarp roots with seeds into the jiffy pellets, root down, seed up, slightly covered with dirt. I soaked them in water (like a beginner i overwatered heavily knowing what I know now). I placed them back in the tray and put them at a window for light. (Note) the plan was to do outdoor so no light or tent was ordered at this point. Day 4-7 not much progression seeing as the clouds and rain showed up...

The Blackberry auto by Fastbuds has been a thrilling plant to grow. Starting off as a tri-cotyledon seedling, she's been a rush from the start. When she came out mutated I didn't even know if I wanted to keep her; I asked the growdiaries.com community for help. After speaking with a few experts I decided to keep it and see what would happen.. Since then she has developed thick healthy stocks stalks and dark leaves with ripe purple flowers bursting out between them add every node. Using a home mix super soil with Promis Organic as the base, I decided to feed compost extracts laced with Golden Tree & CalMag which helped kick this girl into over drive and push out these dense sticky buds. I'm expecting around 3 ounces from her and it's day 73 since she popped out of the soil. She has a sweet aroma and is completely covered in trichomes. Drying/ Curing process: - she will be hung upside down by the main stock until she is dry (8-12 days) - My humidity will be set to 55 - 60 % and my temps will range from 65-70 degrees F - Will store in Glas Mason jars with 2-way Boveda humidty packs. These are a lifesaver for new growers. They will keep the humidity in the jar at 62%. - after 2 weeks I'll throw down a mad sesh Thanks to everyone who offered me tips and help when I needed it. So the smallest 5gal white og flipped her leaves on me. Like WHAT!!! Some research showed me cal-mag was the solution. And I know why. As I mentioned in. My other diaries - ph is off on my well water. I know this and also plants need water. So to water the hot dry plants before running Around for Work or not. I had no time for adjustments and feeding. As guilty as I feel.... well... is what it is. Got the greenhouse back on track today with a good ph water and cal-mag plus feeding. Will watch for improvement. They are all pretty hardy im impressed by their largeness. The large one has exceeded my height and is also filling out. I have topped twice and once on smaller ones. Started to defoliate some of the under leaves and other leaves that had some pest damage. No major pest issues since I battled the flea Beatles but I didn’t capture grasshopper and a caterpillar 🐛 and a white looking spider with egg sack (be gone evil beings) but these girls are outdoors and that’s where bugs live sooooo... whatcha gunna do. 🤷‍♀️🏻 Moving on. Another 6 weeks and these girls should be heading into the flowering zone. Excite to watch that phase. Hope I have enough room out there. Once temps drop around here a little more I will remove the shade screen And spread them out a bit. But I can’t yet as the greenhouse reaches temps over 100 without it.

The yield on this plant was excellent. Very happy with end results. She did great with some LST and defoliation. FoxFarm Ocean Forest soil and ph balanced water, no nutes. Will run her again next round.
