~ FastBuds PAPAYA SHERBET Photoperiod~ Well here we go on another journey together through 'Canna-land' and this one's kinda special... forget that, it's VERY special because this is FastBuds newest surprise for the community, a FEMINIZED PHOTOPERIOD STRAIN!🤯 I was fortunate enough to score these seeds, of which only 1000 were available and can't wait to see what this strain can do! This Papaya Sherbet, according to FastBuds, is a hybrid with a 9-10 weeks flowering period. For a more detailed and accurate description of this strain the following from FastBuds says it best: "Combining the massive stature of Papaya (Oni Selection) with the strength and resilience of one of our best keeper cuts (Sunset Sherbet), this strain develops into a big, expansive bush adorned with numerous bud sites that later transform into a generous harvest of medium-sized buds. Sounds like an epic strain and I personally cannot wait for this lady to strut her stuff!😍 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Setup: This is going to be an outdoor grow, but I have started the Papaya Sherbet photoperiod indoors as our weather is still a bit too chilly to put a newly sprouted seedling outside (nighttime temp's dipping regularly into the 40's℉). The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures are in the mid 50's℉, which shouldn't be long. After which, she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes from BioTabs and slow release dry amendments from Gaia Green. Once she's established herself outside she'll be given periodic top dressings of Gaia Green 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 along with worm castings and Compost Tea's. Her grow area is approx. 5'x5' and I have posts and a trellis net set up already for when she gets bigger to aid in training her. Let the fun begin!🤪💚 ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 7/18- Well, we're now going into the 10th week of veg for this FastBuds Papaya Sherbet photoperiod. She's becoming quite the tall lady with wide node spacing and a classic 'Christmas tree' shape. Her overall health and vigor have remained excellent and she's tolerating our oppressive heat with out complaint! 7/20- The daily watering of 5g continues, as does the hot weather. 7/22- Yesterday, I top dressed the FastBuds Papaya Sherbet photoperiod with 2 1/2 cups of Gaia Green 2-8-4 along with 1 cup of Down To Earth Bio-Fish 7-7-2 and 1/2g of Wiggle Worm castings. After top dressing and working the amendments in by hand I replaced the straw coating over the soil and watered them in with 5g of straight well water via garden hose as usual. Today I resumed my regular watering routine, watering late in the afternoon with 5g of well water from the garden hose. 7/24- There goes ten weeks of veg for the FastBuds Papaya Sherbet photo and she shows no signs of slowing her vertical growth at this time. I am hoping that with our daylight hours slowly diminishing, the Papaya Sherbet will begin to transition into flower in the next few weeks so that it won't be late October before she's ready to harvest... we will see! The strawberry banana is growing tall and big, despite she was the one who germinated later, the skywalker should remain shorter as genetic but is having a strong and fast growing too, both the Runtz are shorter and smaller, we will see in the next one two weeks if they will recuperate their slow growing 🤞🏻💚

LST went good the plant is growing ervery day for 1-2 cm I am very happy with the products used.Until now i didnt run in any issue :) Starting to give a little more Water.

Dear diary, Week 10 total and week 1 of flower is behind us. Will just be making sure all tops are exposed and somewhat in the right place as I let them stretch for about 21 days before some defoliation. 🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸 ⏰ Day 67: Feeding was given in the evening with a solution of 1.87ms and pH of 5.6. During this feeding, I guided most of the tops into their designated positions within the net, ensuring they are adequately spread out to receive optimal light. I also checked the runoff, which measured 2.3ms, but considering the extra dissolved salts from full draining and collection that would be higher that it really is, I will aim to bring it back to the desired range of 1.65-1.7ms to be sure. ⏰ Day 68: In the evening, the plants were fed with a solution of 1.64ms at a pH of 5.8. ⏰ Day 69: Evening feeding consisted of a solution with 1.66ms strength and a pH of 5.9. I also took the opportunity to confirm that the lights were positioned at a 48cm distance from the canopy. Additionally, I'm testing the exhaust system by venting it outside the room. Currently, the relative humidity (RH) ranges from 53-55% during lights-off and 58-60% during lights-on, while the temperatures remain around 18°C with lights off and 23.5°C with lights on. These conditions fall within the desired vPD (vapor pressure deficit) range of 0.95-1.2. ⏰ Day 70: Feeding was carried out in the evening using a solution with a strength of 1.66ms and a pH of 5.9. To enhance air circulation, I added a fan at the top of the tent. Furthermore, I checked the light intensity, which measured around 760-780ppfd. ⏰ Day 71: During the evening feeding, the plants received a solution with a strength of 1.64ms and a pH of 6.4. The RH levels range from 55-65% as the girls get more bushy, while temperatures vary between 23-18°C, depending on whether the lights are on or off. ⏰ Day 72: Evening feeding included a solution with 1.64ms strength and a pH of 6.4. ⏰ Day 73: The plants were fed with a solution having a strength of 1.66ms and a pH of 6.0. As indicated by the feeding schedule, the A+B mix was increased to 3.5ml/l. I also ensured that the lights were positioned approximately 50cm above the canopy and set to 90% intensity to provide additional heat.

Flipped to flower as the tent was already quite full. The yellow/light green plant is still growing really awkwardly and stretches faster than any of the others. Noticed some spots on the plant that had issues in week 3, it's also getting lighter, so I started adding more fertilizer which I had laying around.

I also have that og kush enough for couple months soon so this prob going to get couple months more time to grow those clones for me. LST done. 24.4 couple days timelapse added. Solid week this week! Perfected the LST technique I think! All the canopies are comin in even, and they are growing great! I did notice the plant on the right that is under the King Plus 1000, it’s growing a little shorter and stalkier than its sisters. I tried to find a Mars Hydro reflector 48 to fit into the spot the king is in. I’m trying to match the reflector 144 I have in place, but I was unable to find one ( they don’t make them anymore). Well last night I was able to find one so this tent will be running perfect just in time for flower! Going to keep vegging them, and taking care of my babies! Not too sure how much room I have left to keep vegging, might switch over to flower on week 6 we shall see! Stay growing my friends!

So I cut top colas last week. And managed to get some nice looking buds, still up to 30% of those afected by white mold. They dried up and mold is not growing in the buds, don't know if I still can dosomething with them? Smokycylin? Pinicidope? ))) maybe I canbake them in to gurme cookies? The rest of the plant as seen on this week videos was saved. It looks ready, smells like crazy, sticks like gorilla glue) Thera quite a share of amber trychoms, and even thos couple of self prodused ceeds look ripe. So I think it's time. My plan is to keep it over this weekend. Then give it a 24 hour of darkness and then chop chop. Should I try longer darkness period? 2 days, 3 days, more? Is it doing any good?
