This beautiful OG strain is such a diamond. I LOVE HER. super strong aroma, very OG, sticky flowers, very dense and compact. What else can I ask for. This strain is such a masterpiece. Was just using water with the last 2 plants this week. They both plumped up a bit and got more color going on, which is exactly what I was waiting for. Overall, it was a nice grow with only a couple hiccups.

This one is the slowest to progress into flower so far, but she is transitioning and stretching pretty good. I have them on half bloom and half grow now. Will probably cut out the maxigro in about a week and start them in a pinch if flower boosters. Other than that everything is running smooth.

It was finally time to harvest her, what good times we had with her. Amazed with how beautiful this plant is, how easy to manage and train and how rewarding Orange Hill Special is. So we said our thanks and goodbye, thanked her for all the joy she gave while growing her. I realize more and more how I love growing them even more than the end-product. It takes my mind of all going on for a while, in my miniature jungle world in the attic. Im sure all of you just sometimes sit there and watch them, in wonder, dreaming away with a good buzz on, watching them wave in the wind of the fans. So with a heavy hart I apologize, play them their last music, sit with them and feel them and smell them, watch the glistening of the cristals. In the end we had 209 gram dried Orange Hill Special, I will know the total of the grow, in a few days, since the final big whopper still has to dry: my XtraKush, be sure to check the harvest of that one *in couple of days) and see a one-dollar seed outperform two 10 dollar seeds. Oct 5: Bruce is doing great. I was getting worried she wouldn’t finish in time but she’s picked up the pace and the weather is still good. Sort of. Hitting zero tonight and high of +3 C tomorrow. After that it’s sunny for two weeks with highs near 20 C. She’s turned purple the last few days and is putting on weight. 👍👍 She also broke a limb when blown over (again). Removing big fan leaves that are shading bud sites. Oct 6: she’s beautiful. Removed some large fan leaves that were shading bud. Feels weirdly warm tonight. Still using the 730 nm far red light for a few seconds at dusk as a bloom booster. Now down to just over 11 h of daylight. Oct 10: looking good this morning. Oct 11: been removing fan leaves to get as much light on the buds as possible. Sunlight is weak and low to the horizon but this month continues being unseasonably warm. We’re usually getting quite hard frosts by now but the forecast is warm for another two weeks. Some nice purple showing from the lowish overnight temps though. I just checked, and yes, it has been “extremely hot” again for the last 30 days.

She only grew 8cm this week. Slowing down the stretch now She's doing well. Nothing else to the report as I'm just letting her do her own thing. Some of her very lower leaves were quite spotty and discoloured. I pulled maybe 12 off her through the week. Not sure if it's a deficiency. New growth looks nice and healthy though, flowering is going well, trichomes are enlarging this week, she's getting quite frosty already!
