# Purple CousKush Auto by Zamnesia | Pheno B đŸŒ±đŸ’œ ## Germination Week | Every Seed Deserves a Chance Hello GrowDiaries family! đŸ‘‹đŸŒ± Welcome to another new journey. As some of you may have noticed, I've recently adjusted the way I document my grows. With the current photo limitations on GrowDiaries, each phenotype now receives its own dedicated diary rather than sharing a single journal with its sisters. This allows me to continue documenting every stage of development while selecting the best photographs from each week and keeping everything organized from seed to harvest. The goal remains exactly the same as always: To create an honest, educational, and complete record while sharing observations, successes, lessons learned, and everything in between. Today, we begin following Purple CousKush Auto Pheno B. A sister to the previous phenotype, sharing the same genetics while carrying her own unique potential waiting to reveal itself. --- ## Every Journey Starts the Same One of the beautiful things about cultivation is that every plant begins with possibility. A seed does not tell us what kind of plant it will become. It does not tell us how vigorous it will be. It does not tell us how it will branch, stretch, flower, or finish. It simply asks for an opportunity. That is one of the reasons I enjoy documenting plants from the very beginning. The story starts long before harvest. For this run, we're following Purple CousKush Auto from Zamnesia Seeds, cultivated under a 12/12 from seed schedule from the very first day of life. A method that is a little different from what most growers choose, but one that has become part of my own cultivation style over time. Throughout this diary, I'll explain not only what I'm doing, but also why I'm doing it, allowing anyone interested to follow the process from beginning to end. --- ## Germination Using the Cannakan System To begin this run, I used the Cannakan germination system. For organizational purposes, the autoflower section was germinated using my second Cannakan unit, while the photoperiod section used the first. The methodology itself remained exactly the same. Simple. Organized. Reliable. The seed was placed inside using only plain water. No nutrients. No additives. No stimulants. Just water. Within approximately 24 hours a healthy taproot had emerged and the seed was ready for planting. Exactly what we hope to see from healthy genetics. --- ## Why Only Water? One question that often appears during germination is: "Why not feed the seed immediately?" The answer remains simple. The seed already contains everything required for its first stage of life. Inside that shell are the energy reserves needed to establish roots and begin development. At this stage, I prefer allowing the seed to use those natural reserves exactly as intended. The objective is not to feed the plant. The objective is simply to wake it up. Water is enough. Nature already prepared the rest. --- ## Coco Starter Plugs Like many of the other plants in this project, this seed began life inside a coco starter plug. The plug was fully hydrated and then gently squeezed to remove excess moisture while maintaining a healthy balance between water retention and oxygen availability. Once germinated, the seed was carefully inserted into the plug and placed inside a humidity dome. The dome remained useful for only a short period. Within less than 24 hours the seedling had already emerged and was ready for the next step. At that point, she was transplanted directly into a small container filled with Plagron Lightmix. --- ## Environmental Conditions Environmental conditions remained intentionally simple and stable. Temperatures stayed around 26–27°C. Humidity was maintained between approximately 65–70% using a Spider Farmer humidifier. Rather than keeping seedlings inside extremely humid conditions for extended periods, I prefer introducing them relatively early to the environment they will actually experience throughout their life cycle. The objective is adaptation. Not dependence. Airflow remained extremely gentle. Just enough movement to keep fresh air circulating without creating unnecessary stress. --- ## Lighting Lighting during germination remained intentionally soft. Young seedlings simply do not require intense light levels at this stage. The goal is healthy establishment rather than rapid growth. Once properly established, this girl will move under the Future Of Grow Black Series 600W full-spectrum LED system where the next stage of development begins. For now, healthy roots and healthy growth remain the priorities. --- ## First Observations Everything has progressed exactly as hoped so far. Fast germination. Healthy taproot. Strong emergence. Healthy color. Good vigor. And perhaps most importantly: A healthy beginning. At this stage every seedling remains a mystery. A tiny plant carrying months of possibilities inside it. And sometimes the plants that surprise us the most are the ones that simply ask for a little patience before revealing who they really are. --- ## Looking Ahead Over the coming weeks we'll follow Purple CousKush Auto Pheno B through every stage of development. We'll document: - Root establishment - Early growth - Environmental management - Watering practices - Structural development - Flowering progression - And whatever unique characteristics this phenotype chooses to reveal Because every seed deserves the opportunity to tell its own story. Huge thanks to Zamnesia Seeds for the genetics, Plagron for the substrate and nutrition, Future Of Grow for the lighting, and everyone following along for another seed-to-harvest adventure. Grower's Love everyone. đŸŒ±đŸ’š

I’m baaaaack!!! Sorry I’ve been away for a while. I’ve been busy getting everything together for the next phase
Welcome to the Dude Garden 2.0! I now have 3 grow areas. Two 2x4 tents (one for clone/veg, another for mothers) and a large 10x12’ish flowering area (its actually larger than that, but I’ll be conservative). The tents are running 300w LED’s and a T5 for the cloning/sprouting station. The flowering area has a 1000w HPS!!! I’m totally psyched to see how the HPS does with flowering for me. From all the research I’ve done It seems to still be undisputed that HPS is the best for flowering (but not so good on the electric bill). I moved all plants from the tents to the new flowering area under HPS. That includes 3 Blackberry’s (FastBuds), NYC Diesel Auto (Barney’s Farm), DinaMed+ and Critical+ (DinaFem), Cream & Cheese CBD (Seedsman) and 3 Cherry Hemp (Elevator Supply Co). With the autos You’ll see the first 2 Blackberry’s are getting close to harvest, but looking a bit funky due to the issues they had early on as seedlings. The 3rd is looking much better and will probably yield more than the first 2 combined. I do love the purple and the aroma is insane. The NYC Diesel Auto is looking very nice, the main cola is developing nicely and has great colors. With the photoperiod plants, most are already kind of big considering they haven’t flipped to flower yet. I’m expecting the stretch to kick in at any time for these girls. I hope they don’t break the roof. The Dinafem plants are looking best so far at this stage IMO, but the Cream & Cheese CBD is looking very nice too. And I’m not disappointed at all with the Cherry Hemp plants, one is several weeks older than the other two, but the smaller two have a great node structure. It should be very interesting to see how these 3 grow from here. I expect the older one to be the largest at harvest, but the 2 little girls look ready to explode. We’ll see what happens. I transplanted the photos from the 3 gallon grow bags to 7 gallon fabric pots. And also purchased some Pot Elevators that they are sitting on. The Plant Elevators are pretty cool, they have a mesh base to allow better drainage and air flow to the bottom of the pots. I have clones of all of the photos cut and planted in Jiffy pellets in a humidity dome. I took 3 clones of each. The strongest clones will become mothers, the others will be grown out. Note: The HPS gives much more of a yellow wash on the pics than I was expecting. I tried to color correct the pics the best I could and tried to get to the real colors, It should be pretty close.

Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of 3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable theme in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. I will grow completely organically in soil and will watercure my buds to get the best possible medicine for me. But there are no cultivation rooms to be displayed here, so I continue with what is most important. Today I have put my seeds in my moisture dome and hope the seeds have germinated within a few days. I am very excited to see how the new growroom will work and how this Blue cheese Auto from Royal queen seeds will turn out. Blue Cheese automatic cannabis seeds are a cross of Blueberry Automatic and Cheese Automatic that has been perfected over five years of breeding and careful selection. The result is a feminized, autoflowering strain with superior yield, flavor, and effects to either of its distinguished parent strains. THC: 16% CBD: Low Yield Indoor : 325 - 375 gr/m2 Yield Outdoor: 60 - 110 gr/plant Height Indoor: 40 - 70 cm Height Outdoor: 60 - 110 cm Flowering: 7 - 8 weeks Harvest month: 9-10 weeks after planting Genetic Background: Blueberry x Cheese x Ruderalis Type: Sa 35% In 40% Ru 25% Effect: Cerebral and uplifting Climate: Mild .............................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................. 2017-09-11. Just come back to post a result for you guys, been really busy lately and we just open our own dispensary in Thailand. The coco grow medium just requires lot of work compared to RDWC and the yield is almost similar but just a bit lower paces. Keep on getting high, Cheers

The girls are still doing well! I haven't topped or LST'ed yet as I'm waiting for them to get one more node. Then I'm going to top and start the LST. Unsure if I'm actually going to do SCROG this time since I've got four plants going instead of 2 or 3 like in the past. Space is limited. We'll see though... I'm using FoxFarm Happy Frog soil and added earthworm castings to that whenever I moved the plants to the 3-gallon bags so I'm sure I won't have to properly feed until several more weeks at least from now. My last batch which was 3 Gelat.O.G autos and I didn't have to feed them until they were well into flowering. Love Happy Frog... FoxFarm all together really. I'll update whenever I decide to start the training this week. It may be tomorrow. 2/28/23: I still haven't started the LST yet, but I did top today. I was actually going to LST and top together but decided I'll give them a day or so to recover... plus, I didn't feel like getting down in the tent tonight... lolol 😍😘 3/1/23: Went ahead and started LST tonight. Let's see how this goes.

4/13 SEE LAST ENTRY on germination BEFORE READING THIS WEEK. Like I said I didn't listen to my intuition and a rat got to one of my ethos 10th planet. All plants have been transplanted into solo cups with mycos with happy frog as the medium. The peat pods were all dried out it seemed. Must be were the humidity changed when i moved them last night. Substrate will change to a mix of roots organic, hf, and ffof when I plant up. I hope I have these lights high enough. I am using two 150 hps lights to grow these seedlings as best I can before they go outdoors. Rh outside today is like 36%.Forgot my timer but I'm coming back. Hopfully this will go alright I'm excited. 4/14 Aerogarden lights are way to weak. Plants have stood right back up after I put them under the two hps lights. I was worriedcabout damping off but so far everything looks good. Lights turned on perfect. Rh is 70 temp outside is 50. It reached 75 but well probably get another noreaster. Hope the good weather keeps up amd I'll have am early planting season. UPDATE PLANTS LOOKED GOOD AT NOON TIME. NO WATER. ILL Be here tonight and check again tomorrow. The plants get quite a bit of light from that window 4/14 and 4/15 plants seem to be doing better. The solo cups that were light I dipped the very bottom of the cup in a cup of water about an inch. The cups that were lighter I gave two reasons of water around the edge of the cup. No more water I guess until it dries out. I'm not used to doing seeds. Kinda depressing looking at my last few diaries during this time and seeing huge clones not seedlings. Whatever at least they won't have tons if shit wrong with them. It's been beautiful. I'm really looking forward to this season. UPDATE I CHANGED THECPOSITION OF MY LIGHT FIXTURE. I LOWERED THE LIGHT AS SOME PLANTS SEEMED TO HE STRETCHING. AFTER VIDEO CHAT WITH A COMMERCIAL GROWER I CLOSED THE BLINDS. I HAVE AN ANXIETY DISORDER SO I WORRY A LOT. I AM USING HPS BULBS BUT ITS ALL I HAVE FOR NOW. IM CONSIDETING PICKING UP A CHEAP LED LIGHT. HOWEVER, THE COMMERCIAL GROWER ALSO TOLD ME TO DO "WHAT I NORMALLY DO." WHICH I AM. I KUST GOT A LITTLE LATE START ON AN EARLY SEASON. 4/16 Despite the cups being a little dry I'm going to wait to water. When I do I think I'm goingvti soak the cup from the bottom up. Plants are really starting to take hold. Stretching a bit due to the hps bulb but that's just going to give them a strong stem. Plus I have the sky as the limit. I need to say these things as I feel like I'm behind. I have some autos I might run too. UPDATE: I watched several videos on watering seedling in solo cups. I weighed a Dr cup of soil and it was 196 grams. I weighed wet soil and it was in the 300s (hadn't totally drained). My seedling security os weren't much more than the dry soil. 207, 220 ect. Some were a little higher. I TRIED to water from the bottom up earlier by sitting the cup in a bowl but it didn't seem to work as well. Instead I phed my water and watered all the cups. I used two regular water bottles (16oz?) For the 14 plants. I'm glad I came over to check. Soil was dead dry on some and breaking away from the cup. I got run off in the trays and dumped it. I did this multiple times but im unsure if i got it all I'm just worried about dampening off or over watering. Plants look good though and are starting to take off. I'm hoping for the best. UPDATE AGAIN LOL. I got the feeling I wanted to check things out again so I went over and shut all but one if the shades. Why I didn't do that one I have no idea but since that deep watering earlier today the plants have SHOT up in size! And it's not like they're stretching. It looks it but the stalk is fucking strong looking and thick lol. The colors on the leaves have taken a much better tone and the tertiary leaves have now begun to develop at a pretty good rate! Using this scale is going to make watering much easier! 4/17 One light is brighter than the other. I can tell. The four under one light were drier on top and weighed less. I just plan on rotating the trays that way they will have what they need. Stopping at a commercial grower to show footage and ask questions. If I need to I will buy another light bur this had worked good for me in the past. I can't believe the plants shot up that much! I even say tertiary leaves on some of them! They went into a paper towel like the night of the eight so they aren't even week old seedlings. However, my cousin had seedlings later than this last year and he still had some plants that were bigger than mine! I weighed my cups again and everything seems OK. I think. I may need to water more often. I'm keeping a close eye on it. A fan is blowing GENTLY from far away. UPDATE: Went back over around five and I'm not sure it's one light brighter. I think maybe those big fat Ethos seeds are just drinking more water. Got the scale out again and used a different scale to measure. 180 for a dry full cup of soil. Yesterday was 196 dry cup? Soaking wet its like 350. Soil that looked dry and weighed like 220 240 got a little bit of water. I checked and there was no run off. Plants are stretching due to the HPS bur the stalk looks thick and strong. Healthy. They have a great vibrant green color and tertiary leaves are starting. 4/18 The 10th planet seedlings seem to bexdrinking more water than the others. Everything looks good and healthy. I didn't have much time this morning but topsoil was dry and cups weighed low 200's so I watered the seedlings a little bit. They probably need a full watering which I'll do when I get back. I used one bottle of water on the plants that needed it. I need to keep an eye on the soil on the solo cups. The two 150hps lights def dry the soil out faster. 4/18 Plwnts are doing great. Everything has tertiary leaves now. Stretching a bit but that's probably due to the HPS. I'll be lowering it soon. One bottle of water gives each ofvthe 14 seedlings a shotglass of water. I'll keep an eye on them and when they need a bigger drink I'll give it to them. Those Etho's 10th planet seeds are off to the races! I took pics but I did it in "work" mode and since my email is at a university I have difficulty uploading the pictures. If they don't come out I'll just put some up tomm. Also I noticed a piece of seed stick below the pool of one seedling. I wantedcto make sure it wasn't a scale but but its not. I sprites it and hopfully it will just fall off. I'll keep my eye on it. Pots are washed. I need to wash grow bags and my structure. I also need yo poison the area the ear wigs live.
