Hello all! This plant looks mature and I have a microscope but the thing is I thing it has over ripened and, some trichomes fell off? Or let me tell you my trichomes never turned MILKY OR WHITE. Some of them are amber tho. Anyways, on growweedeasy.com there is a guide that says : Harvest even if your trichomes are not ready. I guess it will be more a gut feeling to chop or not chop. Any input greatly appreciated. And yes, I have chopped down the main cola and dried and smoked it. I guess it gets me high but I smoke all the time so it's hard to evaluate because I have also bought quality weed to smoke So guys, only from the photos, what do you think? My trichomes looks like half clear %10 amber. Do you think it could go to amber without stopping at milky? Or milky trichomes fell of but there was new growth and I could never see clear trichomes? INPUT ? :)

Ok Blue toof is really doing great. She smells of sweet fruit, it is a very nice smell. Raised ppm to 680 she was fine at 600. Defoleated all the bottom. She sure showing her indica traits. The leaves are nice and fat. Her stem has gotten nice and fat also. It is the biggest of the bunch. I really like the shape and branches are also nice and fat. Hung the second light. So let the show go on.

So another week down and we started the scrog. As we draw closer to sexual maturity we are preparing to flip to flower. More compost tea and knf this week really trying to bring this soil to life. The health of this plant is showing me the efforts are not in vain. How ever I have had to cut some yellowing leafs from the bottom. Maybe a calcium this so I’ve added wsc (water soluble calcium) to the pantry of nutes. With the left over plant matter from making the fpj I added to water with a vinegar mother and she turned it into vinegar for me. I then added blended and roasted eggshells. And that’s given me my wsc. Anyways back to the plant, this genetic seem really strong. I’m loving vegging this girl. All 3 plants are pretty tiny, so happy there are 3 of them. Hopefully they develop their roots a little more before going into flower. Got a new camera so this week should be some nicer pics (:

"Chugging" along this week. Weather is hot, girls are loving the all time drip system. Forgot that my nutes and hot sun dont mix well and created a bad case of algae. Will monitor more often and maybe increase the drip flow

This is the final week, they are going to be chopped coming week. Already had some darkness and they are very very smelly. I am amazed at this strain's resilience. It had to deal with my noobishness with autos, heat, very hot soil and less PH buffering with my own super soil recipe (see the yellow image in the germination page) in the smaller bags. Still, they became huge and full of bud. Forbidden Runtz is an amazing strain. Very strong growth but also with most auto's I've grown: once the grow derails, it seldom recovers. But these do. I'm sure next grows I'm going to get even more out of them. Can't wait to try them again with what I've learned now. And you should all consider the SP-3000 as a growlight, look at my results! Week 9 for Gelato 41, She was transplanted into the big 250L pot mid last week to my outdoor spot, she doesn't look like shes grown much since last week but i think its because how big her new pot actually looks compared to the 5L pot but shes definitely bigger😂 The mulch to keep her soil cool is just straight up hay (going for as low spending costs as possible) which i had laying around the garden already from a few years ago😇 Shes getting sprayed every morning at sun rise to help with pests... as my other plants around her are having aphid issues but haven't had to kill any off of her funnily enough.

Wow her flowers are packing the weight on this week! Noticeably bigger this week. The pistils on the top of the main cola have JUST started turning colour. Nowhere else though.

Okay, now they are really growing fast. I need to flip to flower!

This new grow method is really exciting longer vegetative growth this week and no flowers is such a blessing with all the rains in this climate change.
