Week 9 for Gelato 41,
She was transplanted into the big 250L pot mid last week to my outdoor spot, she doesn't look like shes grown much since last week but i think its because how big her new pot actually looks compared to the 5L pot but shes definitely bigger😂
The mulch to keep her soil cool is just straight up hay (going for as low spending costs as possible) which i had laying around the garden already from a few years ago😇
Shes getting sprayed every morning at sun rise to help with pests... as my other plants around her are having aphid issues but haven't had to kill any off of her funnily enough.
BT is a food grade photodegradable soil bacteria that specifically gets caterpillars. I’d recommend it if you’re already estimating 10% loss due to bud rot. I’m guessing that you’re in Canada and you can get Safers BT at Canadian Tire.
@I_Identify_As_A_Dan, you can look for Southern AG Thuricide BT in UK and Europe. Not sure if it available in all areas.
Stuff does work. But it simply limits the losses.
Cheers
That’s a healthy plant! May want to get some defoliation going to promote good airflow.
I grew gelato 41 and my leaves were much thicker indica. It was quite bushy (and huge) like yours.
I loved the strain 👍
@Todzilla, thanks for the comment dude! I do plan on defoliating her very soon because she also doesn't get much wind so branches aren't as strong as id like but there so many spiders on her i don't really want to get arm deep in her 😅😂
Yeah this pheno has some very thin sativa looking fan leaves for sure
Holy shit, 2 more months of veg to go 😂😮
U gonna have a legendary diary
Amazing plant man, u gonna have to support those future colas I think
Happy growing 🙏
@Clutch, Really looking forward to it 😁 The area I'm growing has chicken net all around it even above so ill be able to tight the colas to the ceiling if need be💪
Looking good man.
I always feel the same about not seeing much evolution on the plant but that's because we see her everyday 😄 she's definitely getting bigger and growing that roots to explode in flowering haha
Happy growing 🙏
